Jennifer Lopez shared an Instagram Story post for Ben Affleck on Sunday in honor of Father’s Day. In doing so, she captioned an old photo of the actor with the remark: “Our Hero. Happy Father’s Day.” It comes as rumors of an impending divorce between the two have been running rampant. She also shouted out her own dad with a similar post.
Earlier this month, the couple decided to sell their marital mansion in Beverly Hills. TMZ previously reported that they’re currently living separately as well. Despite the reports, they’ve been wearing their wedding rings in public and putting on a unified front.

While neither Lopez nor Affleck has specifically addressed the rumors, Lopez did speak out on “negativity” in a recent post for her On the J.Lo newsletter. “It may seem like there’s a lot of negativity out in the world right now… but don’t let the voices of a few drown out that there is soooo much love out there. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I love you all so much,” she wrote. The message also came after the release of her new movie Atlas for Netflix. Additionally, she had to cancel her world tour to spend time “taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.” There were many rumors, however, claiming that the cause was poor tickets sales as well as struggles in her relationship with Affleck. “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,” she said in the announcement. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.”

Towards the end of last year, it was revealed that Teyana Taylor had secretly filed for a divorce from her then-husband Iman Shumpert nearly a year prior. In legal docs obtained by TMZ, she accused the former professional athlete of being jealous of her fame, feeling insecure, and more. At the time, she claimed that Shumpert was earning far more than her with his basketball career, though he’s now telling a completely different story.
The outlet obtained more legal docs this week, revealing that Shumpert has asked a judge to adjust their child support agreement. Moreover, he alleged that Taylor is earning almost double what he is monthly. He claims in the docs that she’s bringing in $93,885 before taxes each month, while he’s bringing in roughly $47,981. While it’s unclear exactly where he pulled these numbers from, and whether or not they’re legitimate, they certainly appear to contradict Taylor’s aforementioned claims about their pay gap.

Reportedly, Shumpert has made more than $48 million on NBA contracts, though he hasn’t played professionally since the 2021 season. He told the judge he could comfortably pay $8000 a month for his and Taylor’s two kids, as well as health insurance for any “major” medical expenses that may come up. When it comes to the children’s day-to-day medical costs, he’s looking to split those with his ex.

Jeezy and Jeannie Mai’s divorce has gotten rocky, to say the least, in the months following the news of their split. Aside from battling over custody of their young daughter, Mai accused her former partner of domestic violence in court documents obtained by The Shade Room in April. She alleged that he once punched her in the face, pushed her down a flight of stairs, and more. Mai additionally accused him of leaving their daughter near a gun and putting her in serious danger. Jeezy wasted no time denying these allegations, calling them “not only false, but also deeply disturbing” in a statement.
Now, according to court docs obtained by TMZ, the exes have officially finalized the divorce. Moreover, they’ve filed to keep details of their settlement private. The former lovers got an order to keep their legal documents under seal moving forward. This means that any information pertaining to their custody arrangement, spousal support agreement, property splits, and more will stay under wraps.

Back in March, he asked a judge to seal “sensitive personal and financial information” pertaining to their split, putting an emphasis on the privacy of their one-year-old daughter. Tory Lanez’s fall from grace has been steep. The singer is currently serving a ten year prison sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. He was convicted of “first-degree assault with a firearm, discharge of a firearm with gross negligence, and having a concealed firearm in a vehicle” in 2023, and not be eligible for parole until September 2029. When his parole hearing arises, however, Lanez will be a single man. His wife of less than a year, Raina Chassagne, has officially filed a divorce petition.
TMZ reports that Chassagne filed the petition during the first week of June. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as her reasoning, and is lobbying to get sole custody of their son, Kai. Lanez and Chassagne got married on June 25, 2023, meaning the union failed to last even one year. That being said, the timing of their wedding had many insiders theorizing that there was an ulterior motive. Back in September, legal journalist Meghann Cuniff noted that Lanez’s bail motion coincided with his decision to get engaged and then married to Chassagne in quick succession.
It was widely speculated that Tory Lanez tied the knot when he did, so that he could avoid deportation back to Canada. “From his sentencing hearing engagement announcement to his bail motion wedding announcement,” Cuniff tweeted. “Tory Lanez’s relationship status has advanced rapidly in the last few weeks. His fiancée is now his wife, according to the motion.” Raina Chassagne brought her son to visit Lanez in prison. Daily Mail reported that she was seen sobbing during the R&B singer’s sentencing. She also tried to urge the judge to exercise leniency in Lanez’s sentencing. She cited his dedication as a dad, but the plea did not prove effective.
Tory Lanez has discussed the importance of his son in his life. In 2022, he told HNHH that Kai was born the day he was arrested. “What a lot of people don’t know [is] the day my son was born was the day I got locked,” he noted. “April 12th. I was coming out of the hospital, I was leaving the parking lot. I didn’t even get out of the parking lot.. But that’s something special about the day he was born. I’ll always remember it.” The singer also made reference to Chassagne, claiming they had a good relationship. “I’m not one of those child support … you know, situations. Allegedly, Mai hasn’t been holding up her end of the deal when it comes to honoring Jeezy’s time with the child. “Unfortunately, the Respondent is weaponizing Petitioner’s love for the parties’ minor child against him in hopes that he will concede to Respondent’s unrealistic and erratic demands,” the court documents read. Mai has yet to respond.
This isn’t the first time Jeezy’s accused Mai of withholding their daughter from him, however. In November, he alleged that she was acting as a “gatekeeper” when it came to Jeezy’s time with Monaco, arguing that it’d be best for all involved to keep a consistent and fair schedule.
