NBA YoungBoy Seemingly Disses Birdman & Floyd Mayweather On Latest Song, “Tears Of War”

NBA YoungBoy appears to diss both Birdman and Floyd Mayweather on his new song, “Tears of War.” In doing so, he remarks that he should’ve listened to Lil Wayne’s advice about not trusting the Cash Money Records co-founder. As for Mayweather, he’s the father of YoungBoy’s baby’s mother.

“Know Miss Tina probably sayin’, “This piece of sh*t with my daughter’ / I won’t arguе ’cause I know that soon I’ll probably be slaughterеd / Biggest snake from out of Florida, I ain’t never record her / Knew that Stunna never loved me, should’ve listened to Carter,” he raps on one point on the new six-minute song. Later, he adds: “All these f*ckin’ cars, can’t drive, I keep my feelings disguised / Scared to vent to Yaya, but I could talk to my guys / Floyd against me, he the only reason that I stopped tryin’ / We ‘posed to all be aligned, I keep my head to the sky.”

Lil Wayne previously warned YoungBoy not to trust Birdman on his 2020 collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert, “Multiple Flows,” during which he rapped: “And I had told YoungBoy to watch out for old head.” It’s unclear when YoungBoy and Birdman’s relationship turned south. They’ve been highly supportive of each other over the years with the hip-hop mogul even referring to YoungBoy as the “biggest rapper” in the game.

Melyssa Ford Fires Back At Cam’ron After Freestyle Diss

Melyssa Ford has fired back at Cam’ron, who dissed her during his recent freestyle on It Is What It Is. While Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards was the primary target of the bars, Ford caught some ire as well, following their recent feud. In response to the move, she wrote on Twitter: “A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth even gets out of bed and puts its pants on. That [ninja emoji] is lying. I didn’t call anyone to deal with that bullsh**. And he’s still talking about it 6 months later. It’s giving…”

In the replies, fans shared supportive messages and advised her not to let Cam’s words get to her. “He just needed something to rhyme with the scheme so Kevin Liles, he made it work. Ignore him,” one user wrote. Another added: “Leave it alone Mel…you know how he goes and you don’t have any one that’s going to step about it. Sometimes you just let it ride. That was days ago, don’t amplify something that has died down with someone who is already looking for a reason to use his platform to embarrass you.”

Ford has been feuding with Cam since December of 2023 when she implied the Dipset rapper may have had sex with an underage sex worker back in the 1990s. Cam took issue with the remarks which prompted an apology from Ford. Despite that, Cam continued to go after her in the ensuing weeks. Eventually, he rocked a pair of jeans with a woman appearing to be Ford pictured with her mouth open over his crotch.

Who Is Doja Cat’s Dad?

Doja Cat went on a seemingly random post spree directed towards her dad on May 27. She took shots at the man on both her Instagram and X, leaving many people to wonder who exactly her father is. Moreover, the burning question for some is what he did to deserve her harsh words. Here’s everything you need to know about Doja Cat’s dad.

Who Is Dumisami Dlamini?

A post shared by Dumisani (@official_dumisanidlamini)

Dumisani Dlamini is a South African actor and dancer. He is best known for starring in the film adaptation Sarafina! alongside Whoopi Goldberg in 1992, after starring in the musical. Overall, he has more than three decades of both stage and film performances to his name. He met Doja’s mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, in the 90s while he was performing Sarafina! on Broadway. They shared a brief relationship, which resulted in the birth of Doja, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini. However, Doja Cat was raised by her mom in the U.S.

Doja Cat’s dad married a woman named Ophelia Mulela in 2023 and has been engaged twice in the past. He seemingly left her mother after her birth. Since she rose to fame, however, he has shown his support for her a few times on his social media. On occasion, he has shared pictures and videos of her, and left comments on her posts. Additionally, while there’s no clear evidence on whether they have indeed met, Dlamini shared that he and Doja connected before she blew up. While chatting with Metro FM in 2022, he insisted that “the company that runs her entertainment has been blocking me. They know that if I could get hold of her, maybe she will disappear from the picture.”

A post shared by Doja Cat (@dojacat)

On May 27, Doja Cat took to both her Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts to leave some scathing remarks about her dad. She first updated her X bio to read, “My dad’s a deadbeat, but I did well.” The bio has since been deleted. Soon after, she followed up with an Instagram post featuring a closeup of her face and the caption, “Dad, lemme know when/if you need me to re-up your makeup cabinet cuz you a b***h.”

She also tagged him on the post, adding, “@official_dumisanidlamini I got Urban Decay, I got Pat Mcgrath labs, I got Fenty, I got Scott Barnes, let me know. I got your back, sis.” When a fan left a comment on the post saying, “You are messing with the wrong one. Zulus don’t play… your ancestors will humble you,” Doja simply replied, “Go give the deadbeat a kiss on the lips for me.”

Despite her evident vitriol towards her father, however, she later changed the post’s caption. Around midnight, she edited it, and it now reads, “Jk love you I was mad.” She also limited comments on the post. While she didn’t offer any explanations as to what led her to make the initial post, it is not too hard to speculate, as Doja Cat has been candid about her estranged relationship with her dad in the past. Unsurprisingly, fans were divided in their response to Doja’s targeted posts towards Dlamini.

Cardi B Seemingly Disses BIA On “Wanna Be” Remix, BIA Responds With Mockery

Looks like there might be another beef on watch for 2024, as Cardi B seemingly took a shot at BIA on her remix of GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Wanna Be.” “Guess I’m a teacher since you wanna sub me / She did what? Had no idea / Thought she was on the shelf, IKEA / Hope she talk like that when I see her / B***h please, don’t nobody wanna be ya,” she rappped on the cut. The Bronx MC had previously warned her that she wanted to “show her something” after they traded some subliminal shots online or on wax. The Medford, Massachusetts rapper chose to respond first via Twitter, quoting some of Bardi’s on-and-off-again boo’s Offset’s bars.

“ION SEE THE CAP I GO RAY CHARLES BLIND,” BIA supposedly responded to Cardi B in a seemingly since-deleted tweet, quoting the former Migo and Gunna’s “Prada Dem.” She also roped in an iffy quote from the couple’s song “Clout” which also seeks to discredit Cardi and dismiss her shots. “B***HS IS WACK,” the 32-year-old expressed. “B***HS IS TRASH. I SHOULD HANG B***HS RIGHT OVER MY KNEE, THE WAY I BE PUTTIN MY BELT TO THEY A**.” Looks like a main point of contention between them or their fanbases is Bardi allegedly stealing her style.

Cardi B Disses BIA

Then, when a fan asked BIA to save this negative energy against Cardi B for the booth, she was quick to flaunt her skills and seemingly issue a challenge. “B***h you don’t want me in the booth I’m REALLY like that,” she wrote. In addition, the “I’M THAT B***H” spitter shared a video of battle rapper Yoshi G dissing Cardi, even though it doesn’t really look like the bar landed in that instance. Either way, it seems like there’s a lot of potential sore spots and avenues for this to go through, and we wonder what else could happen for rap beef in 2024. We’d rather things stay civil and friendly, but if there’s a battle, there’s a battle.

BIA’s Responses

I didn’t switch up on anybody because I don’t know Cardi in real life,” BIA said of Cardi B last year when rumors spread that a collab caused issues. “I’ve never met Cardi, we’ve never had a conversation. Like, I don’t have no issues with her, it’s all love, but I don’t know her.”

Eminem Catches Serious Flack For His Megan Thee Stallion Bar On “Houdini”

Eminem is someone whose lyrics have always been seen as controversial. Overall, he has had some dark thoughts that have made their way to his records. Furthermore, he has had no issues saying some inappropriate things about women in his songs. Ultimately, these lyrical choices have shaped Eminem into an artist who is inherently polarizing. This is especially true as fans have felt his last few releases have been either mediocre or straight-up bad.

On Friday, Eminem returned to the rap game with a new song called “Houdini.” From the production to the flows to the melodic passages, the song is a return to his old sound. However, fans are currently fixated on one line in particular that was interpreted as a diss towards Megan Thee Stallion. “If i was to ask for Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me would I really have a shot at a feat?” Of course, this is supposed to be a reference to the fact that Meg was shot in the foot by Tory Lanez.

Eminem Mentions Meg

The song eventually started going viral on social media, and the Meg lyrics were a massive point of contention. In the tweets below, you can see just how upset people were with these bars. They felt they were incredibly disrespectful especially when you consider what Meg has been through. Furthermore, Meg’s situation has been turned into some eye-roll-inducing lyrics for numerous male artists, and it seems like fans are sick and tired of it. Whether or not Meg responds to Em, remains to be seen.

Social Media Reacts

Let us know what you thought of the Megan Thee Stallion bar from Eminem, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that it was a big deal or is the internet doing too much here? Fans Theorize That Doja Cat Is Dissing Her Dad On Social Media

Doja Cat doesn’t care what people thinks. She’s become one of the most provocative pop stars of the 2020s, and a lot of her provocation is aimed at those close to her. Doja has criticized her fans for taking her music and artistry too seriously, and her latest Instagram post has those same fans theorizing that she’s turned her ire towards a member of her own family. The “Agora Hills” singer doesn’t mention anybody by name, but there are some clues as to who it could be.

Doja Cat posted two seemingly random photos of herself on May 26. The first was close up of her face with a shocked expression. The second, even more bizarrely, was of her backside with a robe covering it. It would have been tricky to make heads or tails of the post’s meaning, but the caption added a level of significance that caught fans off guard. “I’m gonna turn you into my next project and you’re gonna have to listen to it for the rest of your god forsaken life,” she wrote. No elaboration, or hashtags hinting at her target. The widely accepted theory is that Doja Cat was talking about her father, Dumisani Dlamini.

Doja Cat Criticized Her Father For Being A “Deadbeat”

Dlamini is an actor and dancer hailing from South Africa. He has praised Doja Cat’s success in various outlets, but the two have never actually met in person. Doja talked about the psychological impact this had on her as a child during a 2021 profile with Rolling Stone. “I felt confused, a little bit,” she recalled. “It’s a little strange to see everybody else with their dad, and you didn’t even really have one.” She has spoken highly of Dlamani’s skills as a performer, but made it clear that was not an influence on her own career.

The piece of evidence that the father theory is Doja Cat’s X bio. The singer recently changed her bio to specifically refer to Dlamini’s absence. “My dad’s a deadbeat but I did well,” it currently reads. Doja had more to say about Dlamini in an Instagram Story. On May 27, the singer spun a makeup tutorial into a scathing indictment of her father’s character. “Dad, let me know when/if you need me to re-up your makeup cabinet because you are a b*tch.” Seems like an open-and-shut case.

Chip Proves He Has No Beef With Central Cee On “C Freestyle”

Last week, Central Cee dropped “CC Freestyle,” spitting fiery bars over Flukes’ classic grime instrumental. Only a few days later, his fellow British rapper Chip took to social media to tease his own new song, “C Freestyle.” Fans were quick to notice similarities between their titles, and the fact that they used the same beat, prompting them to speculate. “Ask anybody born after ‘95 who made them wanna jump on grime they tell you it’s me,” Chip rapped in a short snippet, captioning it, “IT CAN GET GRIMEY.”

Almost immediately, listeners began to suspect that Chip might diss Central Cee, egging him on in his comments section. “Central Cee count your days my guy,” one X user wrote. “Need to see Chip put Central Cee in his place,” another said.

Chip Unleashes New Track Amid Central Cee Beef Rumors

Just before dropping the song, however, Chip proved the rumors to be false. He shared a photo of him and Central Cee to promote the song, making it clear that there’s no bad blood. At the time, Central Cee left a heart emoji in his comments section. Upon the release, he put the rumors to rest once and for all, giving Central Cee his flowers and clarifying that he actually finds his success inspiring. “I ain’t one of them olders hating, I tell Central that I rate him,” he rhymes. “His progression’s motivating.” Cench is even featured in the track’s accompanying music video, which Chip shared a snippet of on Instagram yesterday. “THAT’S 3 C’S UP CC,” he captioned the clip. “@CENTRALCEE BATTERED THIS BEAT HAD TO TAG IN.”

So far, listeners are loving “C Freestyle,” and many are glad that he opted to team up with Central Cee instead of dissing him. What do you think of Chip’s new track? What about him shutting down rumors that he has beef with Central Cee? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

DJ Akademiks Warns “Washed Up” Meek Mill To “Hang It Up”

DJ Akademiks shared a warning for Meek Mill on Twitter, complaining that the Philadelphia rapper tweeted about him despite having him blocked. Meek had been venting about the current media landscape in a series of posts when he wrote: “They all post bad about me because I don’t pay none of them. That’s why they have akademiks a rapist type couch potatoe controlling the narrative on the biggest battles to keep track… I been told him stop posting me they business flow when they speak only on the culture!” Akademiks has been covering the feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar over the last several months.

Akademiks and Meek have been at odds for years at this point. In March, Meek seemingly threatened Ak in a post online amid the long-standing feud. In the latest post, Ak was referencing Meek’s infamous beef with Drake back in 2015 by remarking that he got “killed by a singing n***a.” Elsewhere in his Twitter posts from Monday, Meek also commented on 50 Cent’s feud with King Combs, as well as Soulja Boy beefing with Metro Boomin. “I don’t ask people to defend me,” he remarked. “I’m school jail I always defended myself … you either with us or not!”

Soulja Boy Unleashes On 21 Savage For Defending Metro Boomin Amid Resurfaced Diss Drama

Recently, Soulja Boy took to Instagram Live to vent about a resurfaced Tweet from Metro Boomin, prompting 21 Savage to chime in. “My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy,” the Tweet reads. “Yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats. Sit down.” It was originally written back in 2012, but regardless, he wants it deleted. “F*ck is you talking about Metro Groomin?” he said, “Go delete that Tweet… I don’t give a f*ck if it was three years old, I don’t give a f*ck if it was 20 years old.”

Soulja Boy then claimed that Metro Boomin had “24 hours” to remove the Tweet, leaving 21 Savage curious. “Or what,” he asked in Akademiks’ comments section. Now, Soulja Boy has gone after both of them in a heated Twitter spree, and taken his complaints to Instagram Live once again.

Soulja Boy Pops Off On Instagram Live

In a clip from his Instagram Live, he hurls countless insults at 21 Savage, clowning him for being from the UK and questioning why he didn’t stick up for Drake amid his recent viral beef. To answer 21 Savage’s question, he also clarified that if the Tweet isn’t deleted, he plans to “slap the f*ck” out of both him and Metro. “You think I’m scared of a British rapper?” he asked, “You was born in Britain.”

He then went on to accuse 21 Savage of turning soft ever since joining Drake on tour, telling him he’s lucky he’s on probation. Clearly, he didn’t take the comment lightly and doesn’t plan to let it slide. 21 Savage has yet to respond. What do you think of Soulja Boy popping off over Metro Boomin’s resurfaced Tweet? Is he overreacting? What about 21 Savage jumping in? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

JT Calls Out Even More Rappers On Extended Version Of “Okay”

JT had more to say. The City Girls rapper caused quite a stir when she dropped her single “Okay.” The lyrics saw her take aim at a very specific peer, but she didn’t name names, so fans were unsure of who she meant. The target was whittled down to either Cardi B or Sukihana. The former didn’t bother saying anything, and the latter addressed the situation over social media. JT didn’t like that. She took Sukihana to task for not asking her in private, and proceeded to insult her several times via X (formerly Twitter).

Now, JT has an extended version of “Okay.” The rapper felt like she didn’t quite nail the aggressiveness of the original, so she added additional bars. To nobody’s surprise, they are mean-spirited. The City Girls rapper doesn’t include names again, but they once again register as pointed. “Ain’t no way I’m ever layin’ down for you stank h*es,” she raps on the new version. “Tell these b*tches why you really mad. Cuse you said I couldn’t do it, look at my black a*s.” It’s obvious that all the speculation and fan attention only gave JT more incentive to up the ante, and that’s exactly what she does here.

JT Calls Out 3 Specific Rappers Out Of “Boredom”

“Y’all h*es know you can’t f*ck with me,” JT adds. “That’s why y’all in a huddle trying to see how y’all can f*ck with me.” The rapper then clarifies that she has lots of time to go to war with whoever wants to heed the call. She went as far as to describe herself as bored, and ready for the smoke. “I clapped back in the air cuse a b*tch bored,” she asserted. The hardest-hitting line, though, is towards the end of the verse, when JT decides to be specific and vague at the same time.

She calls out three specific targets without mentioning names, but it seems like these targets know who they are. And they don’t intimidate JT for a second. “To be clear h*e, this for you, you and you (p**sy),” she tauntingly raps. “You ain’t a threat or a f*cking goon. City Cinderella coming soon.” City Cinderella is the name of JT’s upcoming solo album, and frankly, she’s doing a great job of drumming up attention. It is the year of the rap beef, so what better way to get eyes on your project?
