Young Thug’s Leaked Calls To Lil Baby & Lil Durk To Diss Gunna Are Fake, His Sister Says

This beef isn’t getting any easier to navigate for fans, even with a whole new album from Young Thug to look in for answers. Moreover, Wack 100 shared an alleged leaked call from Thug to Lil Baby (another to Lil Durk also surfaced) telling them to respond to Gunna’s alleged subliminal disses, which came on his new album‘s single “bread & butter,” on BUSINESS IS BUSINESS. Of course, people went wild over it, but many raised eyebrows because neither MC appears on the final tracklist. Now, the Atlanta trap pioneer’s sister Dolly White came through on Instagram and said that these alleged calls are actually AI-generated and not real.

Regardless, this didn’t stop tensions from rising between these artists- at least on social media and song snippets. Gunna unfollowed Lil Baby and Lil Durk on Instagram, Baby seemingly dissed him on a teased track, and Smurk outright blasted Wunna for taking a plea deal and being a “rat.” Considering Young Thug’s allusions to snitching on tracks like “Jonesboro” from his new album, many assumed he referred to his YSL collaborator. However, it’s quite the grey area, as YSL promoted a Gift & a Curse and the College Park rhymer reposted Thugger’s countdown to the album on social media.

Young Thug’s Sister Speaks Out

Overall, it seems like the only true confirmed tensions in this whole whirlwind are between Gunna and other rappers. Still, his relationship with Young Thug remains unclear, and many inconsistencies add up to murkiness. For example, the Slime Season innovator recently posted a link to the Drip Season crooner’s music on his Instagram bio, but deleted it shortly after. In addition, Wunna actively shared pro-Thugger messaging in his songs and music videos throughout a Gift & a Curse‘s rollout. However, there’s also the recent development of Thug’s other sister, Dora Williams, who seemingly suggested that streaming Gunna’s album is paying the family’s bills, so maybe their promotion of it is more of a means to an end.

Dora Williams Seems To React To People Commenting On Their Promotion Of Gunna

While many see this as a one-way street of love from Thug to Gun’, they clearly know something the public doesn’t. As such, it’s hard to really make a judgement call on the things we do know, especially if people much closer to the YSL leader than everyone debating it on Twitter pronounced the calls as fake. Considering the YSL RICO case and the sensitive nature of these relationships in the industry, it will probably be a while before we get true answers. On that note, keep checking in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Young Thug, the YSL case, and the other artists involved in this mystery feud.

Young Thug’s New Album Contains Has Hostile Snitching Bars

Last night, Young Thug surprise-released his new album Business Is Business. Given his current legal situation, which has been unfolding in the public eye for over a year, he had a lot to address. For rap fans, one of the biggest curiosities was whether or not Thugger would directly mention Gunna, whose alleged snitching saw him released from prison earlier this year. Other rappers, most recently Lil Durk and Lil Baby, have used their music to take shots at Gunna. Turns out Young Thug does address snitches on the record’s 13th track “Jonesboro.” Even then, it’s unclear whether the lyrics are specifically about Gunna.

Young Thug on the track makes his thoughts on snitches pretty clear. “N*ggas told and he was my homie, I can’t miss him, Ain’t nobody feel him,” the lyrics read. For many fans, this was as scorching an indictment of Gunna’s actions as Young Thug could possibly make. But the more fans dug into things the less clear the intention of the lyrics became. Many online are claiming that the track was written and recorded before Young Thug was ever even locked up. If that’s the case it’s unclear who the lyrics are about but they couldn’t be Gunna. Still, including the song and lyrics on the album could still have been some kind of veiled statement in itself.

Young Thug Calls Out Snitches

Young Thug’s new album is a major event in hip-hop. Not just because of the major storylines it arrives in the midst of, but also the talent involved in it. Superstars like Drake, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Future, and Lil Uzi Vert all make appearances in the tracklist. The album also features nearly wall-to-wall production from Metro Boomin’ who’s had a busy 2023 of his own.

Business Is Business is Young Thug’s first new album since 2021’s Punk. Less than a year after that album’s release, Young Thug and Gunna were both picked up on RICO charges alongside 26 others in the reported YSL gang. Do you think the lyrics on Young Thug’s new album are taking shots at Gunna for snitching? Let us know in the comment section below.

Jess Hilarious Calls Lil Meech Musty, He Exposes Her “Thirsty” DMs

Jess Hilarious recently weighed in on ongoing drama surrounding Lil Meech’s cheating allegations. The comedian claimed to believe that his girlfriend, Summer Walker, was “doing too much” by sharing the alleged other woman’s DMs on social media. “He cheatin’ on you,” she says. She further advises Lil Meech to “keep cheating” on Walker, claiming that fans will get better music from the artist that way. She went on to call Lil Meech “smelly,” and he clearly felt that it was a step too far.

How I stink but this unstable creature @jesshilarious_official in my DMs trying to get chose?” Lil Meech commented. “I see why U mad now,” he said, adding laughing emojis. “This is a crazy world we live in.” He went on to say he guesses Jess Hilarious “likes smelly n****s.” Summer Walker also chimed into the madness, calling the situation sad. “Thirsty a*s girl must have caught amnesia,” she wrote, “worried about my DMs & forgot about these.

Jess Hilarious Disses Lil Meech

Lil Meech also took to Instagram to share screenshots of DMs sent to him by Jess Hilarious. “I’m so proud of you!!” her first message sent in December of 2021 reads, “You were made for this sh*t and to do so much more after this.” The flattering DM was followed by one where she asks Lil Meech if he’s “still in Baltimore.” It appears as though Jess Hilarious has switched up, and the couple is not having it.

Jess Hilarious received some backlash again recently, after appearing to defend Russell Simmons amid his abuse allegations. His ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons and daughter Aoki recently accused him of threatening their lives and being emotionally abusive. “Every story got three sides,” the comedian weighed in. She went on to accuse Simmons’ family members of trying to “destroy” him, also claiming that his daughter was being “disrespectful” for coming forward.

Jim Jones Says Pusha T Diss Was “Cute”

Finally, after some months of waiting, fans finally have some music to soundtrack the Pusha T and Jim Jones beef. Whether Push’s presumed diss towards the Dipset rapper was actually of hard-hitting quality is up to people’s opinion. However, one person wasn’t impressed by the Clipse track that debuted at Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton show, and that’s Capo himself. Moreover, he recently took to Instagram to share some thoughts after his initial response. “Let me know if they serious cause my name is my name #Capo,” he shared on Instagram, adding in his Story: “Let me know when they really ready.”

“Lol [crying-laughing emoji] that verse did not make the list champ it was cute,” Jim Jones captioned his video. In that, he appeared unfazed while making his remarks, with the screwed-up face of someone who just saw a mediocre movie. “That was not a top 50 verse,” the Dipset member stated. “Not at all. Still not in my top 50.” For those unaware, this feud started back when Billboard released their top 50 rappers of all time list in April, and Jones took issue with Push being on there. Specifically, he said that nobody’s trying to sound like Pusha T even though he’s “nice as s**t” at rapping.

Here’s part of the Virginia native’s verse in writing so you can be the judge. “Beware of my name, that there’s delegate / You know I know where you’re delicate / Crush you to pieces, I’ll hum a breath of it / I will close your heaven for the hell of it / You think it’d be valor amongst veterans / I’m watching your fame escape relevance / We all in a room but here’s the elephant / You chasing a feature out of your element / And those lab diamonds under inspection / The question marks block your blessings / It’s no tombstones in the desert / I know by now you get the message.”

Furthermore, it’s delivered in Push’s trademark menacing and mid-tempo flow. Regardless of what you think, this is the first true response (which even then is unconfirmed) that he gave. The 46-year-old isn’t walking on LV runways or dropping highly acclaimed albums like DAYTONA or features on tracks like “Palmolive.” That being said, Push didn’t respond to attacks to his influence either, and there’s no clear battle until the Back In My Prime MC drops some bars of his own. On that note, what do you think of this whole debate and of the new verse? Let us know in the comments and stick around on HNHH for more on Pusha T and Jim Jones.

Pusha T Disses Jim Jones In New Clipse Song Debuted At Pharrell’s 1st Louis Vuitton Men’s Show

Pharrell Williams launched his first show as the Louis Vuitton Men’s Creative Director in Paris on Tuesday night. In doing so, he debuted a new song from Clipse in which Pusha T appears to diss Jim Jones.

“Beware of my name, that there’s delegate/ You know I know where you’re delicate/ Crush you to pieces, I’ll hum a breath of it/ I will close your heaven for the hell of it/ You think it’d be valor amongst veterans/ I’m watching your fame escape relevance/ We all in a room but here’s the elephant/ You chasing a feature out of your element,” Pusha raps. “And those lab diamonds under inspection/ The question marks block your blessings/ It’s no tombstones in the desert/ I know by now you get the message.”

The new song appears to be tentatively titled, “Chains ’n Whips,” as revealed in a New York Times profile with Pharrell from over the weekend. The animosity between Pusha T and Jim Jones began in April, when the Dipset rapper disagreed with Billboard for placing Pusha T at No. 29 on the outlet’s “Top 50 Greatest Rapper of All Time” list. At the time, Jones admitted that Pusha is “nice as shit” at rapping but questioned his impact.

“Nobody has dressed like him. Nobody wants to be like Pusha T. I don’t remember nothing. And let’s not be evil, but we don’t talk about rap where the n***a that’s popping the bitches wanna fuck and the n****s wanna be like,” he said. “I don’t know too many n****s in this game that was leaning towards being like Pusha T. Pusha T don’t hold no weight out here. He not pushing no shit out here.”

Clipse’s Song Plays During The Louis Vuitton Show

Jim Jones responded to “Chains ’n Whips” on his Instagram page a few hours later. “Let me know if they serious cause my name is my name #Capo,” he wrote, before adding on his Instagram Story: “Let me know when they really ready.”

50 Cent Dissed JAY-Z, R. Kelly, Nas, Cam’ron, & More On Original Version Of “Back Down,” Sha Money XL Claims

50 Cent apparently dissed JAY-Z, R. Kelly, Nas, and Cam’ron, among others on an original version of his track, “Back Down.” One of the producers on Get Rich or Die Tryin’, Sha Money XL, discussed an unreleased version of “Back Down,” for Diverse Mentality‘s documentary on 50’s iconic debut album.

“That record is his traditional patterns of ‘How to Rob,’ your ‘Life’s on the Line,’ ‘Ghetto Quran,’” he said. “Certain names is being mentioned, certain nerves being pinched. That’s his marketing tool – Fif has a marketing tool within music. He knows how to make records that’s gonna get you to talk, listen and fuck with him.”

From there, Sha Money XL explained that Dre had to tell 50 to put on a filter, but that he still has the original version. “This is one of the ones that I don’t know anyone else that did a record to it. Like, Dre had records that other people do… Rakim or D12. This one, nah. This one was fresh. Fresh. And we went to my crib, cut that shit. Fif had no filter. Get to L.A. and played it, Dre put the filter on him, like, ‘Hold up, bro. Hold up, bro. Nah, bro. You going too far, man,’” Sha Money XL continued. “And we had to re-record that shit. I still got the version where he’s spazzing, man.”

While 50 initially planned to target Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, JAY-Z, R. Kelly, Nas, Cam’ron, and others, in the end, he only dissed Ja Rule and Murder Inc. on the track. “That shit was blackdown, he was going black on that, blacking out, bro. Whylin’ on these motherfuckas,” Sha Money XL went on. “The shit he was saying, it was like, ‘Bro, you can’t say that, what you doing? Yo, come on, Nas is still the homie.’ But he wanted to take everybody, man. It was like, ‘You can’t go after the God, bro.’ Everybody’s getting it. Cam, everybody. Back the fuck down. And that shit was well-received, man. That shit was hard as fuck.”

Bandman Kevo Replaces Gunna With A Rat In New Music Video

Bandman Kevo recently dropped a new music video for his song “Alone.” He had previously teased the release of the new video, with a screenshot featuring Gunna covered by the superimposed rat. Now, he’s shared the full music video with fans. It appears as though Gunna being replaced by a rat has taken center stage.

Bandman Kevo is far from the only person to label Gunna a “rat” as of late. Amid accusations that he “snitched” on Young Thug during the YSL RICO trial, several of his peers have publicly cut ties with him. Boosie Badazz, Lil Durk, Lil Gotit, and more have all called the rapper a “rat.” Gunna, however, just unveiled his new album, a Blessing & a Curse. The LP has been fairly well-received by most considering the ongoing drama surrounding him.

Bandman Kevo Disses Gunna In “Alone” Video

Bandman Kevo had previously Tweeted about Gunna, revealing that he wanted his money back for the feature he paid for. “I paid gunna last year for a feature 250k,” he wrote. “And months later he got a caught case which put my feature and everything else got put on hold , just for him to get released and snitch.” He added, “I can’t do a song with dude I need my bread back asap and if they cap im going big lawsuit.”

In April, he spoke to Say Cheese! about the Twitter rant. “Really, I want more money for all the time I wasted over a year,” the artist explained. He went on to say, “I feel like I deserve some real M’s because who knows what the song could have been at before you [Gunna] messed your name up.” Bandman Kevo revealed that he’d like to receive $5 million from Gunna, saying, “Realistically, before he got locked up I would have dropped the song and he would have posted and it would have did what it did. I was gon’ make the song go big.”

Azealia Banks Says Doja Cat Gives “Biracial Girl Identity Crisis Vibes”

Azealia Banks has taken to social media to share her opinion on Doja Cat. Doja just released her new single, “Attention,” which listeners suspect could kick off her highly-anticipated next project. Banks, however, has revealed that she isn’t a huge fan of the “Woman” songstress, even going on to bash Kendrick Lamar.

“I really be wanting to like Doja’s music but it’s all just sooo try hard,” she began her Instagram rant. “Her first album was actually cool as hell,” she says, calling it “her own authentic art voice.” She continues, claiming Doja Cat “sounds like a white girl that grew up in a house.” “It’s not giving that pissy stairwell / bacon egg and cheese / vanilla Dutch nyc energy she’s reaching for,” Banks says, adding that California rap is “purposefully inoffensive and caters to paper shoe Tom and matted hair Abigail.”

Azealia Banks Calls Doja’s Music “NYC WANNABE Levels Of Boring”

Banks continued to tear into Doja, saying “Her approach to trying to conceptualize an authentic rap record is giving angel haze NYC WANNABE levels of boring rippity rap/ cheesy soho whiteboy hypebeast circa ’06.” “She’s giving me those weird fka twigs biracial girl identity crisis vibes,” she claims. Banks then called Kendrick Lamar “MAD overrated and extremely complacent.” She further accused the rapper of having “white ghostwriters writing about the black struggle n sh*t.”

Though Banks’ hot take on Doja may be somewhat shocking, many aren’t surprised by the rant. She’s been known to go in on her peers on social media, airing her various feuds. Recently, she used Jacky Oh’s death as an opportunity to call out the former Wild ‘N Out star’s longtime partner, DC Young Fly. “DC Young Fly spent years disguising his own deeply rooted hatred of self as jokes pointed at women’s beauty,” she wrote, claiming “That [Jacky Oh] girl must have been so deeply insecure about herself.” She also recently called out The 1975’s Matty Healy for making fun of Ice Spice. Banks called him “so obviously weak in the knees, thin-jawed, and drug addicted that it’s easy to catch his crusty a*s lackin’.” She added, “The 1975 is on nobody’s radar babe, maybe fat emo teenagers but no we are not checkin’ for you boo.”

Gucci Mane Shades Wack 100 On “Bluffin” Collab With Lil Baby

Gucci Mane has been coming at us with nothing short of consistency so far in 2023 when it comes to his music. He previously began the year with “King Snipe” alongside Kodak Black. Next, he appeared on Big Scarr’s posthumous project with “Trappin N Rappin.” Since then we’ve also heard the southern superstar team up with BigWalkDog and Lil Zay before returning to his roots on “06 Gucci” featuring 21 Sav and DaBaby. That joint effort was met with an abundance of praise from hip-hop heads. Thankfully, it’s since been followed by more heat from Mane.

Back in May, he tapped both Roddy Ricch and Nardo Wick for “Pissy. Now, Gucci is notably kicking off the summer season with “Bluffin.” The nearly two-and-a-half minute-long track finds him working alongside Lil Baby, and notably dropping bars that diss Wack 100. “I want my M’s up to one, two, three, four, five one-hundred / I ain’t arguin’ on the internet, I’m not Wack 100,” the 43-year-old rhymes.

Gucci Mane Calls on Lil Baby for “Bluffin” Single

Of course, the embattled industry executive has long been known for involving himself in other people’s business. Most recently he condemned YK Osiris for his behaviour toward Sukihana which sparked a massive debate on social media. Elsewhere this year we’ve seen Wack 100 dissing J. Prince, getting into a screaming match with Maino, and making an appearance on Blueface and Chrisean Rock’s controversial reality show. Needless to say, the industry executive knows a thing or two about speaking on other people’s problems.

Wack doesn’t appear to have responded to Gucci’s bars at this yet, but if he has thoughts, it likely won’t be long before we hear them. Jack Harlow Responds To Machine Gun Kelly’s “Renegade (Freestyle)” Diss

For Jack Harlow fans, his Jackman album that landed earlier this spring was a pleasant surprise – especially for those who previously expressed a desire to see the budding actor work on his pen game following his sophomore LP. Unfortunately for Harlow, his project left a bad taste in the mouth of at least one of his contemporaries, who didn’t hesitate to diss the young rhymer in a freestyle over Jay-Z’s Eminem-produced 2001 hit, “Renegade.” Machine Gun Kelly shared his work shortly after Jackman made its debut, complete with bars from the artist declaring himself “the hardest white boy” since Slim Shady.

“I see why they call you Jackman, you jacked man’s whole swag / Give Drake his flow back, man, I eat rappers like Pac-Man,” the father of one rhymes, accusing Harlow of following too closely in the footsteps of Drizzy. The “Nail Tech” hitmaker didn’t respond at the time, but during a recent sitdown with Rap Radar, he was asked to share his thoughts on MGK’s bars. “How do you take it in? I guess you just f**king take it,” Jack said of the hate that comes along with being famous.

The White Men Can’t Jump star continued, “Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, and I feel great about what I said, and I feel great about the reaction. It just is what it is.” Harlow added that he feels “no reservations about what was said at all,” and that “talking [his] shit” is just part of being “an MC.”

Elsewhere on the podcast, the 25-year-old spills on making his acting debut in the recent 1992 remake, which Twitter has had mixed reactions to. On top of that, he also recalls receiving praise from Kendrick Lamar and shares his thoughts on the current state of the music industry.
