Black Day In July Presents Lord Jessiah’s ‘Time Waits For No One’ (Exclusively Produced By Wu Tang Producer Bronze Nazareth)
Detroit’s Hip Hop scene has always been burgeoning with hungry talent, with some of the veteran artists from Motown just a glance away from international recognition as such is the case with Lord Jessiah. The Detroit underground mainstay along with Wu Tang affiliate producer Bronze Nazareth and Lord Jessiah have dropped their latest joint offering in the form of a full length LP called Time Waits For No One.
The album features contributions from Mickey Factz, Bronze Nazareth, Recognize Ali, Ty Farris and more. Production is helmed by Bronze Nazareth, who produced the lead single “Audubon”.
This project will be available via all streaming platforms Lord Jessiah took time crafting each bar for this release so to present the listeners with a ‘no skips’ album. Listeners were first introduced to the Lord Jessiah and Bronze Nazareth’s combo by the latter’s 2014 single “J Evans” where Jessiah capped off the song with an exceptional verse. He said “I’m excited about this release because I’m ready. I took my time with it, and anything you take your time with is going to yield quality, this album will prove that.”
Lord Jessiah’s hunger gives “Time Waits For No One” a fever pitch of emotions and showcases his rollercoaster journey through Detroit’s underbelly. Bronze Nazareth, Producer, states “This marks an exciting time in the development of Lord Jessiah as a solo artist, and the music he created here eclipses an already solid discography. So in fact it will be a testament to his growth and skill set. It’s like reading a book, and being able to take your mind right into what Lord Jessiah offers on each song.” Lord Jessiah plans to further distinguish his name and cement his position in hip hop with his full length LP: “Time Waits For No One”.

FBI Arrests TikTok Star for Armed Robberies After Tracking His Videos
According to a report from FOX News affiliate in Detroit, the FBI has taken a Detroit man into custody for armed robberies he committed after they identified him from his TikTok.
The FBI launched an investigation after a string of robberies occurred in the Detroit area and the surveillance footage were able to link the to 22-year-old Chozen Terrell-Hannah. According to the FBI, he wore the same white Nike sneakers with red trim in the robberies that he wore in videos on his TikTok page.
FBI Task Force agents called the Nikes Terell-Hannah’s “stick-up shoes” and described the situation, saying, “A search of the residence led to the seizure of items believed to be used in the armed robberies including a black Glock handgun, a black backpack with a floral pattern, a skeleton full bodysuit, and white Nike tennis shoes.” They went on to say “(He) admitted to committing all four of the above-described armed robberies and acknowledged using the black backpack with a floral pattern in all four of the armed robberies.”

Big Sean Says His ‘Detroit’ Mixtape Will Hit Streaming Services Soon
Following a three-year break, Big Sean returned to music in late 2020 with his fifth album, Detroit 2. The effort was a sequel to his critically-acclaimed 2012 mixtape, Detroit. The first project was beloved so much that a number of his fans have requested that it be added to streaming services for their enjoyment. Thankfully, after quite the wait, the rapper recently revealed that the mixtape is well on its way to DSPs.

Sean shared the news after a fan mentioned him on Twitter and said, “@BigSean today would’ve been a good day to have Detroit on Apple Music.” In response, the rapper replied, “Next month the Detroit mixtape will be on all streaming services, re-mixed and mastered properly, finally! Happy 313 day tho [praying hands emoji].” The news comes shortly after Big Sean released vinyl editions of Detroit 2.
The addition of Detroit to streaming services is just one of a few releases fans can expect from Big Sean. Last year confirmed he and Jhene Aiko are working on a new Twenty88 project. “It’s in the works,” the rapper said in response to a fan who asked if a second album was on the way following their “Time In” collab on Detroit 2. He also said he would drop a deluxe version of his fifth album album “if I feel like its needed” after a Twitter user inquired about it during a Q&A session.
