Ice Spice Previews New Song About Cheaters Amid Central Cee Dating Rumors

Ice Spice has an army behind her waiting for the release of her upcoming album Y2K, and she hasn’t let her foot off the gas when it comes to setting the stage. Moreover, she recently teased a new song amid Fourth of July fireworks presumably in Denmark, as she performed there on the U.S. holiday for a festival and hit the stage with the same outfit as the one she wears in this clip. The Bronx femcee talks about doing her cheating partners worse than they’re doing her, clutching her purse, and doing that reverse -– no Uno. She does so over a moody and woozy Jersey sample flip, which joins her drill flips as her bread and butter these days.

Speaking of those musical styles, Ice Spice recently praised her collaborator and upcoming tour mate Cash Cobain for being the sound of the moment right now. “Cash really has my attention right now,” she remarked to Bootleg Kev during a recent interview. “I’ve been listening to him a lot. It’s really his time, so he’s mostly who I’m a fan of right now.” It’s ironic because he thinks that his XXL freshman freestyle is “a**,” but he clearly has a big audience for his artistry.

One aspect of Y2K that people are curious to hear is whether or not Ice Spice will address any of her female rap peers. As for Ice Spice, her supposed target (and vice versa) is Latto, and they seemed to shade each other at the BET Awards recently through their performances of their apparent diss tracks against each other. Will we see this boil over or will it stay as close to indirect as it can be without crossing the line?

Meanwhile, this new song preview about cheaters also raised fans’ eyebrows thanks to some recent dating rumors. Ice Spice and Central Cee have further fueled rumors that they’re dating after going on a shopping spree in the United Kingdom on Wednesday. They had previously been spotted cruising in Cee’s blue Lamborghini Urus SUV. Hitting the town, Spice rocked an all-pink matching outfit while Cee wore a black hoodie on top of black pants.

When DJ Akademiks shared a clip of the two on Instagram, fans had mixed responses. One user critiqued the idea of shopping for a romantic partner. “Spending your money on a woman you barely know will forever be crazy to me,” they wrote. Another theorized it’s all just a PR move: “This is all PR! She needs this more than him. Remember her streaming numbers have dropped tremendously.”

Central Cee previously discussed Spice during an interview with Complex, last year, explaining that she reminds him of himself. “She reminds me of me a bit… she’s cool innit,” he said at the time. “Humble, down to earth, don’t really care too much about the shiny stuff; but knows how to play the game. You can hear that in the music, and see that in the moves that she makes, and I appreciate that because some people don’t really know what they’re doing, and they take it for granted or they don’t take the opportunity and run with it — but she’s really running with it right now.”

Central Cee & Ice Spice Spark Dating Rumors Online After Supposedly Riding In The UK Rapper’s Lambo: Watch

Even though Central Cee and Ice Spice are from different countries, they actually share quite a bit in common. Both are major faces in the current hip-hop landscape due in part to their drill hits. Additionally, each have won similar Best New Artist awards at the BRITs and MTV show, respectively. So, why couldn’t Central Cee and Ice Spice start dating? Well, the internet is starting to believe that could be a real possibility. Several hours ago, the “Doja” hitmaker shared a short video on his Instagram Story of him cruising through what appears to be downtown London.

Cee was doing so in style as well, as he decided to take out his blue Lamborghini Urus SUV. This is not the part that is big news. Just moments later, Ice Spice posted a similar-looking blue dashboard on her Story, along with the location, London, UK. Fans were quick to make jokes surrounding this development under the repost from The Shade Room. Most of them centered around what their babies would look like. “That baby gonna be translucent”. Or, “They must be tryna have a Albino”, another user writes.

The fact that dating rumors are flying everywhere is not all that surprising, though. Spice and Cee have been photographed on numerous occasions, especially later last year. Kehlani recently revealed the “craziest” thing they’ve ever caught someone doing in a relationship and based on the timeline they gave, fans think it was PartyNextDoor. They addressed the topic while speaking about their new song, “Better Not,” during an interview with Nessa on Hot 97. The song is included on their new album, Crash.

The interviewer begins by describing the track as “alarming.” In the lyrics, they rap: “I almost died the night when I caught you in somebody’s Benz (Ooh, ooh) / I better not catch you doing that sh*t again / And you’re not wrong, ’cause you’re not mine / I would choose this dance with you in every life / Though we’re just a little more than friends / I better not catch you doing that sh*t again.”
