Since they reconciled a few months back as well, R&B lovers are hoping to see a similar ending between Nelly and Ashanti.

The reunited exes have been stepping out together frequently as of late, whether performing on stage in Las Vegas or watching UFC fights. Their most recent outing took place on Thursday (June 8), when Ashanti was tapped to sing at the annual QC Music Black Ball in celebration of P’s birthday. As she showed off her impressive vocal skills, the “Just A Dream” artist stepped behind the DJ booth to support her seeing as he’s already so familiar with her work.

They both donned sleek black garments covered in extravagant silver detailing, leaving the legendary singers looking worth every penny in their bank accounts. Since seeing photos of them circulating online, Twitter users have had plenty to say about Ashanti’s new relationship.

“I know Irv Gotti mad that it was his outbursts that got Ashanti and Nelly reunited,” one user speculated. “Nelly and Ashanti belong together. They both have aged so gracefully… He finally came correct,” someone else praised the 48-year-old.

The 26-year-old already shares two children with high school sweetheart Jaidyn Alexis, and he currently has one on the way with Crazy In Love co-star Chrisean Rock. The Baltimore-born entertainer announced news of her pregnancy back in January, and the months since have seen her and Blueface feuding near-constantly on social media. For the most part, it’s been the Californian antagonizing her with his antics, but earlier this week, a video of her making plans with another man began making rounds on social media.

Since then, Blueface has been loudly and proudly showering his first baby mama with attention, seemingly attempting to make Chrisean jealous. At the same time, her Instagram feed has been lighting up with maternity content, from a video of her crying while praying in her kitchen to content from a stunning photoshoot organized by Blac Chyna for the first-time mother.

For his part, Blueface took Jaidyn out on a date to begin his weekend, capturing plenty of their time together on his Story. At one point, he and his co-parent went Live on IG, and thousands of fans tuned in as the “Thotiana” hitmaker informed the mother of two that she’ll be responsible for taking care of his and Rock’s baby when it arrives.

“I’m not gonna watch the child so you gon’ be stuck watching the child,” he told her. “You think I’m gonna watch y’all’s child?” Alexis immediately responded, the disinterest in her voice obvious. “Yeah,” Blueface replied, “if we together.” This earned laughter from his on-again-off-again lover, who clearly has a different vision than her man.
