50 Cent Requests To Drop His Defamation Lawsuit Against Daphne Joy Over Her Rape Accusations

50 Cent has filed a motion to dismiss his defamation case against his ex, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Back in March, 50 Cent was accused of rape on Instagram by Daphne Joy Narvaez, the mother of his 12-year-old second son, Sire Jackson. In the post, she wrote, “Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on.” Shortly thereafter, 50 filed a lawsuit for defamation against Narvaez, claiming that she made up the accusations to prevent him from seeking sole custody of Sire, and to distract from her involvement in separate legal dramas surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was accused of sexual assault by a former producer.

50 did not give reason for his request to have the suit dismissed, only that it be withdrawn “without prejudice,” which would allow him to file again at a later date. Neither 50 nor Daphne responded to the Times’ request for comment. Before moving to dismiss the case, 50 demanded $1 million in damages and the removal of the damaging posts; Narvaez has already deleted the posts, although she said she would secure representation to handle the allegations made about her in Lil Rod’s suit against Diddy.

50 Cent Drops Defamation Lawsuit Against Ex Despite Abuse Allegations

50 Cent may have plenty of jokes for Diddy, but the rapper has had legal issues of his own in 2024. He was accused of rape and physical abuse by his ex-girlfriend, Daphne Joy Narvaez, back in March. 50 Cent responded by filing a defamation lawsuit against Narvaez, in addition to denying all claims outright. The defamation suit has lasted throughout the summer, but the rapper has decided to pull the plug on the whole thing. According to TMZ, 50 Cent is dropping the defamation suit against his ex.

This is a complete turnaround from the 50 Cent who adamantly denied Narvaez’s accusations in March. The rapper issued a statement criticizing his ex for besmirching his reputation in a way that could impact his livelihood, and consequently, their shared child. 50 described Narvaez’s accusations as a “purposeful attempt to destroy his personal and business reputation.” He also felt as though his ex was trying to ruin the custody battle the two were embroiled in at the time. 50 voiced a concern over being unable to see his “minor son” due to Narvaez’s “false” claims.

The decision was confirmed on September 10. TMZ obtained legal documents in which 50 Cent asked the defamation suit to be dismissed “without prejudice.” A judge has reportedly yet to sign off on the request, but there’s no outstanding legal reason why there would be a problem. Neither 50 nor Daphne Joy Narvaez have commented on this latest decision. In fact, both parties have gone out of their way to avoid the topic in recent months. Daphne Joy Narvaez deleted the original Instagram post accusing 50 Cent of abuse back in July. 50 seemingly returned the favor by refusing to pursue legal action.

The defamation lawsuit is settled. The custody battle between 50 Cent and Daphne Joy Narvaez, however, is not. 50 is seeking sole custody of their son, Sire, due to claims made about Narvaez in a lawsuit against Diddy. The ongoing lawsuit, filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, claimed that Daphne Joy Narvaez spent time as a sex worker for Diddy. 50 wants sole custody as a means of keeping his son protected. Given what has come to light about Diddy, the concern is understandable.

Federal Investigation Deepens into Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Amid Allegations Involving Daphne Joy

Screen Shot 2024 09 02 at 10.08.41 AM

The legal troubles surrounding Bad Boy Entertainment CEO Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs have taken a significant turn as federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York intensify their investigation. Earlier this year, former Bad Boy music producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones filed a $30 million civil lawsuit against Diddy, alleging that 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Daphne Joy, was involved in Diddy’s alleged trafficking ring. Now, it appears the feds are digging deeper to uncover more about the accusations.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, federal authorities have issued a subpoena to a luxurious Miami hotel, demanding a wide array of records linked to Diddy, Daphne Joy, and other associates of the hip-hop mogul. The subpoena, which focuses on the period from January 1, 2008, to the present, seeks extensive information including reservation records, check-in and check-out dates, room numbers, guest preferences and requests, and billing details.

But the investigation doesn’t stop there. The subpoena also requests email and mailing addresses, phone numbers, and payment methods used by Diddy, Daphne Joy, and others, whether it be cash or credit. Additionally, federal prosecutors have asked for computer IP addresses, logins, identification copies, and even vehicle information connected to the individuals involved. Furthermore, the feds are inquiring about any surveillance footage the hotel might have, potentially seeking to piece together a clearer picture of the activities and interactions that took place.

This latest development signals that authorities are far from finished with their investigation into Diddy, with the new subpoena issued just weeks ago. As the probe continues, the legal landscape for the Bad Boy CEO becomes increasingly complex, with potential implications for his personal and professional life.

As of now, both Diddy and Daphne Joy have yet to publicly respond to the latest subpoena and the ongoing investigation.

50 Cent’s Ex Daphne Joy Deletes Rape Accusations Amid Defamation Lawsuit

In March of this year, it was revealed that 50 Cent’s ex Daphne Joy was named in Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ lawsuit against Diddy. Lil Rod accused her of having accepted monthly payments from the mogul for sex work, which she later denied. Regardless, 50 Cent proceeded to troll her with various social media posts, dubbing her a “sex worker” and mocking her for being named in the suit.

Eventually, Joy responded to 50 Cent’s jabs with a lengthy post of her own, which included various allegations. “Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me,” she wrote in part, also adding “You are no longer my oppressor and God will handle you from this point on.”

He quickly denied the accusations, also alleging that they were merely a response to him seeking custody of their son. In May, he sued her for defamation, claiming that the accusations damaged his reputation, custody case, and more. Now, TMZ reports that she’s removed the post containing the allegations from social media. The outlet notes that it’s unclear exactly when she removed the post or why, though sources say it has nothing to do with the defamation lawsuit. Reportedly, he still plans to move forward with the case, and they haven’t agreed on a settlement.

Perhaps, Joy is looking to put the past behind her for her own peace of mind, or simply out of the public’s view. What do you think of Daphne Joy deleting her social media post accusing 50 Cent of rape and abuse? What about him suing her for alleged defamation? 50 Cent didn’t appreciate being accused of rape and abuse by his ex Daphne Joy Narvaez, filing suit against her for defamation. The former couple shares a son, Sire, and in court documents 50 filed on Monday according to TMZ, he believes Narvaez made the accusations in order to prevent him from getting sole custody.

50 is notoriously litigious and petty, so it should come as no surprise that he is suing his ex, but according to the filings, he gave her “ample time” to retract her statements. They read, “Despite being given ample opportunity to retract a false and malicious retaliatory accusation, Ms. Narvaez has shamefully chosen to interfere with her 11-year-old son’s relationship with his loving father by falsely calling him a ‘rapist’.”

Naturally, he couldn’t resist getting a shot in at his beleaguered peer Diddy, jabbing, “The motivation behind this appears to be Ms. Narvaez’s unfortunate entanglement and misguided loyalty to Mr. Combs, who we believe to be underwriting this attack and whom Mr. Jackson has been warning Ms. Narvaez and others about for many years.”

50 had been in the midst of a weeks-long mocking of his business rival when Narvaez was mentioned in Lil Rod’s ongoing lawsuit against Diddy. Rod’s suit claimed that Daphne was on retainer with the embattled producer, prompting 50 to call her a “sex worker” in trolling social posts — which he has since deleted.

She responded with a laundry list of accusations, writing, “Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me,” and alleging that he never even sees Sire, despite her living a mile away. “You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on,” she wrote. “You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claims made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time.

Who Is Daphne Joy? 50 Cent’s Baby Mama Named In Diddy Case

If you’ve been following along with the ongoing Diddy drama, you’re likely already aware of the name Daphne Joy. What you may not know, however, is that Daphne Joy shares an eleven-year-old son named Sire with her famous ex, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. Given her ties to Sean Combs and impending legal issues, 50 Cent has set a custody battle in motion to get full parental guardianship over their underage son, Sire. With a lot of bizarre information surrounding the actress, model, and alleged sex worker, according to Lil Rod, let’s not waste any time unpacking what we know about Daphne Joy.

Joy’s Work History

Long before she became named in the Diddy sexual assault lawsuit, Daphne Joy was born in 1987 in the Philippines. Since immigrating to the United States, she has received work as an actor and model, appearing in films such as Setup, Frankenhood, and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, according to her IMDb. Joy has also launched a self-titled swimwear line, offering bold and breathable designs that accent the beautiful feminine curves of her patrons. The latest clothing drop is currently on pace to premiere on April 26, per Daphne’s Instagram.

Daphne Joy has also worked as a model and frequently appears in the advertising material for her swimwear collection. Her social media showcases a wide array of collaborators, including photographers and luxury brands. According to a write-up in Page Six, she also produces OnlyFans content, which can be accessed by the public for $24.99 per month.

Association With Diddy

While Daphne Joy’s true relationship to Diddy remains unknown, the pair have not shied away from showing each other love online. In 2022, Joy referred to Diddy as her “favorite person” in an Instagram post wishing the controversial producer a happy birthday. The pair have also been spotted together at numerous social events. According to a recent lawsuit brought against Diddy by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, Daphne Joy has been on Diddy’s payroll as an alleged sex worker. Jones claims that Joy is one of several women whom Diddy paid a monthly stipend for sex work as part of an ongoing legal case regarding sexual assault.

Lil Rod also claims that he was responsible for choosing sex workers to bring onto Diddy’s yacht for a January 2023 trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands and that Diddy forced Rod to engage in sex acts with these escorts against his will. It is unclear at this time if Daphne Joy is one of the alleged sex workers present on that trip.

50 Cent Responds

As expected, 50 Cent has been viciously trolling his one-time baby mama along with Diddy on social media, poking fun at the sex work allegations and seeking sole custody of his son from Daphne Joy’s care. After repeatedly posting about Joy’s predicament on social media, Joy snapped back at 50 with a lengthy post accusing him of abuse and assault. She also accused 50 Cent of being a bad father, suggesting that she moved herself and their son Sire within a mile of 50’s residence in New York, only for 50 to visit ten times in the span of 2 years.

While it remains unclear if there is any validity to these claims, Joy also posted a response to Lil Rod’s sex work accusations on the same day, writing, “I am deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit. The claim that I am a sex worker is 100% false and character assassination. I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies against both Rodney and his attorney.”

Diddy’s Ex Daphne Joy Poses For Bikini Photoshoot Amid Lawsuit Allegations

It’s been a turbulent time recently for both legendary rap mogul Diddy and almost everyone else in his orbit. That included Daphne Joy, who was named in a lawsuit that also discussed Meek Mill, Yung Miami, and more. Joy in particular was accused of essentially being a sex worker for Combs. Those allegations got far more serious when it was revealed that he was under investigation by the federal government for allegations of sex trafficking. Two of his properties were raided and his private jet was intercepted last month.

But Daphne Joy isn’t letting the allegations against Diddy or herself slow her down. Earlier this week she was in Los Angeles showing quite a bit of skin for a photo shoot. She was spotted with a black bikini paired with a black maxi skirt. Unsurprisingly the skirt doesn’t do a particularly good job of covering up much of anything. We’re not permitted to post the images directly on HotNewHipHop, but if you’d like to see them, you can do so by clicking the Via link below.

Daphne Joy Continues Modeling Despite Diddy Allegations

After Joy was named in Lil Rod’s lawsuit against Diddy, 50 Cent unsurprisingly had a lot to say. 50 has been posting about the rap mogul almost every day dating all the way back to Cassie’s first lawsuit filed against him in November. He continued berating her for weeks even into April as he was still posting about her earlier this month.

Some fans online and even some members of the rap media space have started to believe the Lil Rod lawsuit may not be true. The more additions he made the more bizarre claims emerged, many of which were completely unnecessary to prove the accusations he leveled against Diddy. What do you think of Daphne Joy sporting a thin black bikini for a recent photoshoot? Do you think the allegations made against her in the lawsuit against Diddy are true? Let us know in the comment section below.

50 Cent Keeps Trolling His Ex Daphne Joy Over Diddy Lawsuit Allegations

In the wake of months of allegations against Diddy, 50 Cent has become the biggest troll on the internet. Even before the feds raided two of his properties last week, 50 was hard at work. He took to Instagram nearly every single day for months sharing any kind of anti-Diddy content he can get his hands on. That has also extended to anybody else who is pulled into the rap mogul’s orbit. 50 has repeatedly posted about Stevie J, even as he’s received threats of violence and a challenge to a fight from Stevie in response.

Unsurprisingly, Diddy also used the opportunity to go after his ex and the mother of his son Sire, Daphne Joy. Last month, producer Lil Rod filed a lawsuit against Diddy that made some of the most viral claims to date against the rap mogul. In repeated amendments to the lawsuit he’s called out more and more famous people for their alleged involvement with Diddy. That included Daphne Joy, who he described as one of the rap mogul’s “sex workers.” Consequently that’s exactly what 50 has been hung up on with his recent posts about joy. “It’s lunch time people here’s a little LSW theme music. Let’s stay positive and productive today” he captioned a recent Instagram post. “LSW” stands to little sex worker, which he’s repeatedly called Joy ever since the allegations first dropped. Check out the full post he shared below.

50 Cent Keeps Posting About Daphne Joy

Later this week, 50 Cent will perform at the J. Cole-curated Dreamville Festival. The North Carolina fest was originally slated to feature a performance from Chris Brown. But after the singer ultimately had to pull out for unspecified reasons, he was replaced with 50.

What do you think of 50 Cent’s newest tactic of trolling his ex after she was mentioned in a lawsuit against Diddy? Do you think 50 is doing too much constantly posting about other people on Instagram? Let us know in the comment section below.

50 Cent Joins Nicki Minaj Onstage At “Pink Friday 2” Tour, Disses Daphne Joy

Nicki Minaj continues to impress fans with her tour in support of her latest album, Pink Friday 2. Of course, when the “FTCU” performer graced the stage at Madison Square Garden in her hometown of NYC this weekend, she didn’t do it alone. She invited 50 Cent to perform some of his own hits, and even joined him for their collab, “Beep Beep.”

Fif took to social media to share some clips from the evening and was sure to shade a couple of his latest trolling targets in his caption. “Gag city vibes, no P Diddy,” he wrote. “Yo I’m not gonna front Nicki got all the b*tches! I looked in the crowd and was like damn baby what you doing? Then threw my jacket at these little sex workers. LOL.”

His “sex worker” remark is a jab at the mother of his son Sire, Daphne Joy. Recently, it was discovered that Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones named her in his lawsuit against Diddy, accusing her of accepting monthly payments from the mogul in exchange for sex work. 50 Cent has since sounded off about the allegations and is now seeking sole custody of their 12-year-old. Joy later took to social media to slam both Lil Rod and 50 Cent, denying ever being a sex worker and accusing her ex of sexual assault and abuse. He’s since called her accusations “false and baseless.”

During the show, Fif continued to diss Joy onstage with another “sex worker” comment, leaving fans split. While some were into his performance, others felt as though they could have done without the shade. Either way, it doesn’t look like he plans on stopping anytime soon.

50 Cent Puts Daphne Joy On Blast Following Rape & Abuse Allegations

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the mother of 50 Cent’s son Sire, Daphne Joy, is named in Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ lawsuit against Diddy. He accuses the actress of accepting money from the Bad Boy Records mogul monthly in exchange for sex work, which she denies. As the revelation started to gain traction online, 50 Cent was quick to weigh in, putting her on blast in various social media posts. He’s even now seeking sole custody of their 12-year-old.

Daphne Joy addressed the allegations, and Fif’s response to them, in a now-deleted Instagram Story last night. In her post, she revealed that she plans to take legal action against Lil Rod for his claims. She also slammed her ex for clowning her on social media. According to Joy, instead of focusing on what she’s accused of, they should focus on 50 Cent’s alleged crimes.

“Good morning people let’s focus on our goals and get some work done. Let’s work hard to contribute to world being a better place. All the work we do counts, even you little sex workers,” he captioned one Instagram post today. “Whistle while you work guys, that’s my theme for today. I made all this money and I’m practicing abstinence, I don’t want a little sex worker,” he captioned another recent post.
