Ed Lover Defends Eminem Following Dr. Umar’s Criticism

Ed Lover has come to Eminem’s defense by questioning Dr. Umar’s credentials to speak on hip-hop during an episode of the C’Mon Son! podcast. Umar previously attributed Eminem’s status as one of the greatest rappers of all time to “white supremacy.”

“Where did you get your doctorate?” he asked on the show, rhetorically. “What makes you a doctor? And then, where did you come from and what makes you a[n] authority on hip-hop? Now Eminem don’t need Dr. Umar to tell him he’s one of the greatest of all time because we’ve already have said it. hip hop is for everybody. hip hop might’ve been created by Black people, but the love of music, melodies and rhymes have spread all over this world.”

He added: “That’s like saying [Big] Pun can’t be one of the greatest of all time because he’s not African American, ’cause he’s Puerto Rican; Fat Joe don’t deserve to be in hip hop because he’s not African American. You weren’t there, Dr. Umar, respectively. You were not there.” Lover is far from the only one to speak out against Umar’s comments. The controversial figure eventually defended himself on Instagram Live, explaining that he still views Eminem as a talented artist. However, he says his remarks “apply to any non-African” in the genre. Check out Ed Lover’s full response to Dr. Umar below.

Kanye West’s Apology To Jewish People Lamented By White Supremacist Nick Fuentes

Not everyone is fully satisfied with Kanye West’s recent apology to the Jewish community for his antisemitic remarks… in fact, few people are. In this example, though, a former close collaborator of his for his failed presidential campaign– and someone who endorsed and espoused his abhorrent ideologies– is angry for all the wrong reasons. Moreover, conservative pundit Nick Fuentes, known for his white supremacist bigotry, recently expressed disappointment at Ye’s apology on his web program. While it’s not a very explicit clip when it comes to his disdain for the people of Israel, it’s clear what he’s really mad about.

“Kind of a big, tough blackpill for all of us to swallow,” Nick Fuentes said of Kanye West’s apology. “Disappointing, but not really a surprise. He apologized and it’s so over. It’s a total capitulation. I never thought I would see it.” However, this isn’t the only reason people took issue with this request for forgiveness. On the other side of the political spectrum– and even for those who sadly aren’t far off from his views– many people allege that he used artificial intelligence to generate this statement, which makes his plea much more disingenuous.

Nick Fuentes Comments On Kanye West’s Apology: Watch

Furthermore, others think that this is just a ploy to generate more success for Kanye West’s yet-to-be-released collab album with Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures. Pete Rosenberg in particular had an interesting theory on this subject. He thinks that the Chicago artist did this so that folks could clear samples for this upcoming project, and believes the A.I. accusations hold up. “No part of me believes his apology,” the media personality expressed. “The Hebrew part was so either unintentionally or intentionally offensive. As if, like, American Jews can just read Hebrew without vowels. Like, bro, it’s just another offensive thing here.”

Meanwhile, the 46-year-old’s Balmain jacket supposedly appeared in pictures from the Kardashians’ holiday party. As such, many assume that the West-Kardashian family actually got together in L.A. for the season, which people didn’t expect given previous alleged reports. Maybe this reconnection, and this apology, are part of him truly seeking accountability. Hopefully he keeps making Nick Fuentes angry by trying (the key word here) to right his wrongs. On that note, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Kanye West.

GloRilla Responds To Fabolous’ Criticism Of Women In Rap

During her recent interview with GQ, GloRilla responded to Fabolous’ take on women in rap, which he shared on social media over the summer. According to him, there are plenty of female MCs well-equipped with powerful stories, but they’re not necessarily promoted as much as they should be. He criticized the industry for pushing only one kind of female hip-hop when there’s plenty to choose from.

“Love hearing the female rappers talking some real sh*t,” Fabolous wrote in an Instagram Story. “Women are so strong, have so many stories and perspectives that we need to hear in pure form. No disrespect to any of the female rappers out, but I think there’s only one style of female rap/hip hop being promoted, programmed, and looked at as successful now.”

GloRilla’s Not Here For Fabolous’ Criticism

GloRilla was asked about his comments, rolling her eyes in response to the question. “What men rap about? Killing, f*cking, robbing, cars, money,” she said. “Females rapping about the same sh*t,” she added. “But guess what? We’re not killing. We’re not in gangs. We’re not robbing. That’s what men be doing. What we doing? We’re sitting pretty, we’re popping our sh*t, we’re hustling, we’re getting money. We f*ck, so we rap about what we do.” Clearly, the Memphis native wasn’t feeling his comments. She hasn’t let them deter her from staying busy, however, as she recently revealed that she’s working on multiple projects simultaneously.

“I’m always workin’ on some new work,” she told NFL City Life earlier this month. “I’m workin’ on a project right now. Two different projects.” According to her one of the projects is a collab, though she’s yet to announce who she’s working with on it. The other project is her debut album, which listeners can’t wait to hear. What do you think of GloRilla’s response to Fabolous’ criticism of women in rap? Do you agree with her take? Joe Budden Claims He Owes NBA YoungBoy An Apology

During a recent podcast episode, Joe Budden shared his thoughts on NBA YoungBoy, and he didn’t hold back. He described the 24-year-old MC as “trash,” suggesting that his music is overrated. The personality has walked back his previous statements, however, now claiming that he owes the Louisiana native an apology.

“I owe him an apology,” Budden explained during a subsequent podcast, “He don’t even bother nobody.” He went on to state that if he wanted to broach the subject, there were better ways he could have gone about it. He described watching the playback and not being proud of his comments, calling himself out for his “lazy” approach to criticism.

Joe Budden On Dissing NBA YoungBoy

Following Joe Budden’s initial diss, NBA YoungBoy fired back with an Instagram story. “Don’t speak on me. I don’t play that s**t. Don’t rat on me neither, you p***y b***h,” he insisted. “St*pid d*mb b***h, yo d**k don’t get even hard no more, clown-a*s n***a. Ain’t no sabotaging me, b***h. F**k wrong wit that n***a, mayne? Don’t rat on me. I don’t want to argue with ya b***h a*s, n***a. B***h, you do all them interviews, come on to Gravedigger Mountain and talk to me, n***a. B***h, if you can’t do that, mayne, hey, you b***h-made n***a. Shut your f**kin’ mouth!”

Budden later responded to the backlash he was receiving from the rapper’s fans, who suggested he only dissed NBA YoungBoy for clout. “I just want to say I’m way bigger than him. Stop this. You young idiots get fooled by these label metrics and these digital tricks. Would you like me to read you the numbers on YoungBoy’s last six projects?” he asked. What do you think of Joe Budden claiming that he might owe NBA YoungBoy an apology? Do you think he does, or was his criticism fair? Benzino Rips Joe Budden To Shreds Over NBA Youngboy Criticism

Benzino is someone who is always commenting on things happening within the culture. Although he may not be well-liked by everyone, he is still a key figure in hip-hop. Overall, he has certain people that he likes to go after, one of which being his own daughter, Coi Leray. That aside, it seems as though the commentator is now going taking aim at Joe Budden. Of course, Budden recently had harsh words for NBA YoungBoy. In a now-viral clip, the former rapper called YoungBoy “trash.”

Now, Benzino is lashing out by going after Budden specifically. Although he mentions bloggers in general here, it is clear that he is targeting Joe. “You blogging ass bitches, y’all think y’all Oprah?” Benzino asked. “Y’all motherfuckers don’t know more than everybody else. Y’all shit up there, y’all get a little check and y’all just talk shit about everybody and what they do.” He then went on to say that Joe shouldn’t be talking when you consider how he is mostly a one-hit wonder.

Benzino Speaks

“NBA YoungBoy got a whole generation loving his shit, alright? Obviously, you’re older than the generation that NBA YoungBoy’s music goes to. So just shut the fuck up, bro,” he explained. “Stop acting like you better than somebody. When you was putting out music, how would you feel if somebody said your shit was trash? Which it was. You had one song and that was it. You a decent rapper, but this n***a is a whole superstar out here!” Needless to say, Benzino was not holding back while addressing Budden. It was all very scathing, and we’re sure Joe would be eager to respond.

NBA YoungBoy Fires Back At Joe Budden Following Criticism: “Don’t Speak On Me”

NBA YoungBoy wasn’t happy with Joe Budden’s latest criticism of his music. In response to the podcast host labeling him “trash,” YoungBoy fired back on his Instagram Story, on Sunday.

“Don’t speak on me. I don’t play that s**t.” Don’t rat on me neither, you p***y b***h,” he said, as noted by XXL. “Stupid dumb b***h, yo d**k don’t get even hard no more, clown-a*s n***a. Ain’t no sabotaging me, b***h. F**k wrong wit that n***a, mayne? Don’t rat on me. I don’t want to argue with ya b***h a*s, n***a. Budden had referred to YoungBoy as “trash” and “horrible” during the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast. “That n***a’s trash. He’s horrible. He is horrible,” Joe said about YoungBoy. “He is horrible, he is really really really really really bad. He’s really really really bad.” When Budden’s co-host pointed out that the rapper simply releases too much music and needs better quality control on his work, Budden responded: “I don’t care. I don’t care. Like there nothing y’all can say that’s going, like, the n***a’s bad.” Check out YoungBoy’s response to the criticism below.

King Harris Insists He’s A “Legend,” Fires Back At Critics Dissing His Persona

T.I. and Tiny’s 19-year-old son King Harris has been making headlines as of late, largely due to a recent altercation he got into with both of them. The family attended an Atlanta Falcons game last week where the incident took place. The up-and-coming rapper was on Instagram Live, streaming a verbal spat with his parents to thousands of his followers.

Unfortunately, the situation took a turn for the worse, and things ultimately got physical. During the argument, T.I. called King out for claiming to have had a rough upbringing, arguing that his son hasn’t faced as many obstacles as he leads fans to believe. Tiny later chimed in, insisting that the teenager only preferred to stay with his grandmother over his parents because she allowed him to “suck a pacifier there, ’til he was 12 years old.”

King Harris Responds To Haters

He clapped back, claiming that he actually spent time “outside in the neighborhood” as opposed to with family members. The disagreement only escalated from there, with King continuing to remind his mom and dad that he “stands on business.” T.I. begged to differ, telling him that he was instead “embarrassing” himself and their family. King’s no stranger to being accused of putting up a front for social media, but this latest debacle with his celebrity parents has only added fuel to the fire. Recently, however, King took to Instagram Live to shut down critics claiming that his persona is fake.

He argued that it wouldn’t make sense for him to pretend to have less than he does, as what he has is a “blessing.” King also called himself the “youngest legend” there is. “Sh*t is good over here,” he explained, “why would I want to pretend to be anything less?” What do you think of the criticism King Harris has been receiving as of late? Do you think it’s justified? What about the 19-year-old claiming he’s the “youngest legend” around? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Beyonce Shares New Pictures On Social Media After Skin-Bleaching Claims

Beyonce is causing a lot of buzz right now as usual, this time for the premiere of her RENAISSANCE concert film. However, this occasion also prompted some heated discussion and accusations to fly around the Internet concerning her look for the event. Moreover, many fans speculated that the superstar singer whitened her skin for the pictures, contributing to unrealistic or warped beauty standards that many saw as a bite of Kim Kardashian’s style. It’s quite the difficult situation to navigate, albeit one based purely off gossip and interpretation. Regardless, while she didn’t directly address this, she did post some new pictures on Thursday (November 30) to seemingly combat these claims.

Furthermore, the Houston native included various close-up snaps of herself in her latest Instagram post, including some with her husband Jay-Z. As always, she looks gorgeous, and is definitely leaning into fits that compliment her new platinum blonde look. Despite this narrative becoming part of the conversation, it seems like it won’t stop Beyonce’s movie from attaining massive box office success. After all, why wouldn’t one of the most sought-after live experiences of the year become a hit for audiences who can get close to it from the comfort of a theater?

What’s more is that Tina Lawson, the Destiny’s Child alum’s mother, fought back against these accusations. “Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stup*d ignorant self hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white,” Beyonce’s mom wrote on Instagram. “She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin?

“I am sick and tired of people attacking her,” she went on. “Every time she does something that she works her a** off for and is a statement of her work ethic, talent and resilience. Here you sad little haters come out the woodwork. Jealousy and racism, sexism, double standards, you perpetuate those things. Instead of celebrating a sister or just ignoring if you don’t like her. I am sick of you losers. I know that she is going to be pissed at me for doing this, but I am fed up ! This girl minds her own business. She helps people whenever she can. She lifts up & promotes black women and underdogs at all times.” For more news and updates on Beyonce, come back to HNHH.

Nicki Minaj Responds To Criticism Ahead Of “Pink Friday 2”

Nicki Minaj is gearing up to drop her eagerly-awaited new album, Pink Friday 2, at the beginning of next month. Since announcing it, she’s provided the Barbz with a single, delivered special surprises each Friday to build anticipation, and more. The hitmaker frequently finds herself a target for criticism, however, with social media users always looking for opportunities to make negative comments on what she does.

Unfortunately, this seems to have left the rapper fed up, based on a recent message she shared with fans. In her message, she notes the backlash she gets on a regular basis, advising people to stop trying to tell her how to do her job. Instead, she thinks fans should simply enjoy the work she puts out, as she doesn’t intend to change her ways to appease anybody.

“Music is a very serious business for me & MANY OF US but it’s also my F*CKING ARTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!” she explained. “MY GIFT!!!!!!!! Would you tell a pastor how to preach his sermon in the middle of Sunday worship? Do you tell the strippers where to position their butt holes while they on the pole tryna entertain you? Do you tell JORDAN HOW TO chew his gum & move his wrist b4 a FKING JUMP SHOT!!!??!??!”

“Being a ppl pleaser will never make the pleaser feel pleased,” she added. “So stop. Take it from me. I’ve learned the hard way for years.” Clearly, Nicki isn’t here for the criticism, and won’t be letting it stop her from doing her album the way she wants. Drake Reposts Shawn Cee Criticism Of “For All The Dogs”

For every time that Drake drops something new, there seems to be a polarizing conversation around its quality. Moreover, some fans have been complaining about his output for a couple of years now, whereas others still hold a lot of love for his recent releases. That’s especially the case for Drizzy’s For All The Dogs, which has arguably some of the highest and lowest points of his career, including the Scary Hours 3 expansion. However, he knows this very well, and even tends to join in those conversations either jokingly or stubbornly. The most recent instance of this is hard to put in either camp, though.

Furthermore, Drake reposted a clip of popular YouTuber and streamer Shawn Cee’s reaction to For All The Dogs. While it’s not as harsh as what, say, someone like Joe Budden fired off against him, it’s still quite the negative implication. Basically, Shawn remarked that very few of the Toronto superstar’s fans actually care about the vague people that he’s rapping about and complaining about. When it comes to content matter, he just doesn’t find him to be very interesting, and believes he’s too deep in his own mythologized legend status to acknowledge that what he raps about is irrelevant to most of his listeners.

Shawn Cee’s Issues With For All The Dogs Spark Drake’s Amusement… Or Ire: Watch

Of course, it’s not like artists always have to cater to whatever the fans want to hear; it’s their expression, after all. But Shawn Cee’s comments are actually quite common among Drake discourse, and this can’t be the first time that the 37-year-old has faced these critiques head-on. Still, it’s unclear whether he’s just laughing at Shawn’s assessment and commentary, or being a little butt-hurt about it. Neither would be too surprising, as the OVO mogul is known to have a bone to pick with people criticizing his music.

Meanwhile, it’s quite amusing to see artists interact with listeners in this way, whether it’s with positive or negative connotations. In fact, by dropping the instrumentals for Scary Hours 3, it seems like Drake wants us to engage even more with the music at hand and rap over it ourselves. It’s a nice challenge, but if he has anything bad to say about any rendition of it, then he’d better be ready for some return fire.
