Cardi B Issues Heartfelt Apology To Fans For Losing Herself Amid Criticism

It’s no secret that being a megastar like Cardi B comes with a great deal of pressure, and according to her, it’s held her back in the past from genuinely expressing herself. During a recent livestream, the femcee had a heart-to-heart with the Bardigang, where she apologized for allowing criticism to bring her down. She says that while she’s only human, she’s doing her best to stop letting external forces impact her personal creativity.

“I want to apologize to my fans,” she begins. “To my fans, to myself, and to the people that love me for losing myself… Just losing myself and not being myself because of negative things that put me in a wall.” Cardi continues, explaining how the scrutiny she faces on a constant basis can prevent her from spreading her wings artistically, out of fear of backlash.

I’m trying.” Luckily, Cardi B says that she’s back on the right path these days, meaning that her upcoming releases should be as authentic as ever. “All I want from you guys is support, is love, [and] honesty of course. Meek Mill’s “Heathenism” First-Week Sales Get Him Ripped Apart By Critics

It’s been an undoubtedly challenging few weeks for Meek Mill, and it looks like the Philly-born performer simply cannot catch a break. At the end of February, rumors that he was named in Diddy’s latest lawsuit and slept with the Bad Boy Records founder ran wild. Despite having denied these allegations on various occasions, social media users continue to speculate. Amid chatter surrounding that whole debacle, Meek wrecked his brand-new car. Luckily, he seems to have been uninjured in the crash, though he admits it knocked him out.

Things appeared to be looking up for the rapper when he announced and later unleashed his new EP Heathenism last week. While it’s been met with praise from countless fans since its release, critics continue to knock him online. This has only been compounded since the project’s first-week sales were announced earlier today.

Meek Mill’s Heathenism EP Sells 6K Its First Week

According to a recent Tweet from DJ Akademiks, Heathenism sold 6K in its first week. While the number is certainly far lower than most fans probably expected, he appears to have remained confident in his success, based on his latest Twitter/X posts. Unfortunately, however, not everybody is so convinced. Ak’s comments section has been flooded by countless users clowning him for the project’s arguably low sales, and they’re not holding back.

“All that controversy and still couldn’t break 10k,” one critic writes. “Flopped so hard,” another claims. Several users also took the opportunity to joke about Meek Mill and DJ Akademiks’ recent feud, and how glad the latter probably was to spread the news. “Ak rubbing his hands together after getting this information,” one user says.

Social Media Users Clown Meek Mill Over Heathenism First-Week Sales

What do you think of Meek Mill’s new EP Heathenism selling 6k in its first week? Are you surprised? Do you think he deserves the clowning he’s receiving online, or are critics doing too much? DDG Fires Back At Critics After Holding Baby Halo With One Hand

A few months back, DDG and his girlfriend Halle Bailey welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Halo. Since the little one’s arrival, fans have had a blast watching the pair adjust to parenthood. While Bailey has received more than enough backlash for keeping her pregnancy private, she and the rapper have mostly been met with an outpouring of support. Unfortunately, however, the young couple has also been met with a great deal of scrutiny.

Earlier this week, for example, DDG took to social media to share some selfies he took with Halo. One might expect countless doting comments about the father-son duo spending time together, but users were far from focused on that. Instead, they ripped the new dad apart for the way he was holding Halo.

DDG & Baby Halo Are “Chillin”

In two of the photos, DDG poses in a mirror, holding the infant with one hand. Immediately, commenters expressed concern for Halo’s safety and made their opinions known. “Why bro dangling his baby like that😭😭” one user wrote. Another said DDG was, “holding bro like it’s a stack of money.” According to DDG, however, Halo was completely fine, and the way he was holding him was no cause for concern.

He took to Twitter/X yesterday to address the outcry, clarifying that he and his child are okay. “How y’all gon tell me how to hold my baby,” he wondered, adding a laughing emoji. “We chillin.” Obviously, DDG is confident in his parenting abilities, and thinks online critics should mind their own business. What do you think of the way DDG was holding baby Halo in his recent social media posts? Do you think he deserves the backlash he’s been receiving online, or are fans overreacting? What about his response to the controversy? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Mariahlynn Slams Joseline Hernandez For Rocking Cocaine-Themed Shirt

Joseline Hernandez has long been accused of dabbling in illicit substances, and according to her fellow Love & Hip Hop star Mariahlynn, it’s not something the mother of one should take lightly. Earlier today, Hernandez took to Twitter/X to debut a new outfit, which features a reference to her alleged drug use. In her photos, the personality sports a baby blue set, complete with a sweater reading “Cocaline.”

Mariahlynn was quick to share her thoughts on the garment in The Neighborhood Talk‘s Instagram comments section. She made it clear that she didn’t find the reference funny at all, particularly amid the current rise in drug overdoses. The reality star and rapper even opened up about her own experience living with a mother battling addiction, noting how difficult it can be to watch the ones you love nearly “self-destruct.”

Joe Budden Walks Back Beyonce Criticism

Joe Budden has apologized to Beyonce for his criticism of her latest single, “Texas Hold ‘Em.” In a previous episode of his podcast, he refused to speak on the track because he’s “not a country music critic.” The single was one of two country songs Beyonce dropped by surprise during the Super Bowl.

“I want to apologize to Beyonce,” Budden said. “I like that song, I like the other song too, but I like that song a lot. And let me tell you something, let me be totally phony and get on the total opposite of everything I said the first time. If the rumors are true, if Beyoncé is covering that Dolly Parton song. If that little rumor is true — ’cause Dolly just tweeted yesterday and that tweet ain’t out of nowhere, if Beyonce does that? Oh my God. Get Mason Ramsey to open up!”

While the song topped the Billboard Hot 100, Joe Budden hasn’t been the only voice to criticize the genre pivot for Beyonce. Azealia Banks also recently admitted she isn’t a fan of the move. “You’re setting yourself up to be ridiculed again,” Banks said on social media. “There’s a theatrical element to country music !!! Them critics are not just going to accept an ugly blond wig and bullying from jay-z !!! It’s giving big time musical grift… [Y]ou’re just really not hitting the button.” Check out Budden’s comments on “Texas Hold ‘Em” below.

Bhad Bhabie Addresses Haters Claiming She’s Not Ready For Motherhood

It goes without saying that Danielle Bregoli, AKA Bhad Bhabie, has come a long way since her viral appearance on Dr. Phil. The now 20-year-old went on to start a successful rap career and eventually began making some serious cash from her adult content on OnlyFans. Nowadays, Bhad Bhabie is preparing for yet another major life transition, as she recently revealed that she’s pregnant.

Earlier this month, the mother-to-be went all out with a Valentine’s Day-themed baby shower for her unborn daughter, who’s fittingly named Kali Love. While it’s clear that Bhad Bhabie is eager to meet her little one, not everyone has been so supportive. Since the announcement, she’s been met with quite a bit of criticism from those who believe she’s not ready to be a parent.

During a recent interview with PEOPLE, Bhad Bhabie addressed these comments, revealing that she doesn’t pay them too much mind. “I even see people saying, ‘Oh, I don’t think she’s ready. I don’t think she’s ready,’” she explained. “It’s like, ‘How can you, from your computer screen, determine if I’m ready to be a mother or not?’ […] I don’t even be on [social media], so how can you determine that?” she wondered. “You know? It’s just kind of off.”

“People who are nurses and doctors and therapists and lawyers,” she added. “Do you think if people went back and looked at them when they were 13 and 14 and judged them off that time that they would have that job and be held so high? They’re kids, they’re teenagers. But mine happened to be broadcasted all over the Internet, all over public television… I wish more people knew my story and really understood the things that made me who I am. And that they wouldn’t just look at a certain time of my life and expect me to be that person forever, especially when I was so young.” What do you think of Bhad Bhabie’s response to critics claiming she’s not ready to be a mother? Yung Miami Lives Her Best Life On Birthday Trip Amid “50/50” Criticism

Earlier this week, Yung Miami dropped a new solo single called “50/50,” which has since received a great deal of criticism online. While some listeners think the City Girl popped off, others argue that she should stick with JT, and are leaving plenty of nasty comments on social media. “I would have rather had another episode of Caresha Please,” one Instagram user claims in The Shade Room‘s comments section. “This not it,” another writes.

Some users are also upset that she dropped her song so shortly after the release of JT’s new solo single, “Sideways.” Amid the backlash, Yung Miami took to Twitter to share her own theory on why she’s getting so much hate. “Cause they hate to see pretty b*tches at the top they like to keep us on leash,” she theorizes. She’s also gone on to repost various fans’ Tweets coming to her defense.

She recently set off for Vegas to celebrate her 30th birthday, and shared various photos and clips from the trip on social media. In one clip, the Florida-born performer is seen getting onto her private jet, which was completely decked out with “Yams” balloons, sweet treats, and more.

She even showed off her custom “Happy Birthday Yung Miami” welcome mat, as well as some personalized “Caresha Air” pillows. Several of the femcee’s friends joined her on the trip, whom she thanked with a heartfelt toast before takeoff.

Ice Spice Accused Of Fat-Phobia By Fans After Response To Twitter User

Whenever Ice Spice is met with either fair or exaggerated criticism online, she always knows exactly how to effectively clap back… for the most part. Still, given her most recent response to a Twitter user, fans expressed disappointment in her choice of retaliation. “Either let her work with someone who can help with her performing and stage presence or send her back to the Bronx. Pls,” the critical listener captioned a video of the New York rapper performing her latest single, “Think U The S**t (Fart).” Then, she retorted with, “while we’re being constructive-” and posted a picture of the woman who roasted her live show, specifically a mirror selfie.

Furthermore, in comparison to Ice Spice’s other clapbacks, many fans took issue with the lack of clarity here. Is she insulting her looks, her outfit, her body, her camera angles… or is it all of the above? In any circumstance, some folks thought the 24-year-old took things too far and might even be fat-phobic if she meant it as a dig to her body. Perhaps she didn’t take this seriously in the first place and just wanted to troll a fan, but it’s fair to say there are much better ways to make your message clear without it being at the expense of someone’s physical appearance.

Ice Spice Draws Backlash From Fans After Mocking Twitter User (See Comments)

For example, Ice Spice could’ve just specifically roasted the outfit or photo angle, but instead, the vagueness leaves a lot of room for negative interpretation. In fact, she should probably focus that energy on her alleged rap opponents instead of towards potential fans who just want quality entertainment and don’t deserve the smoke. Of these potential match-ups, the “Deli” hitmaker’s current big target seems to be Latto thanks to speculation over back-and-forths via song snippets and social media responses. It’s all just in the rumor mill for now, but if something concrete happens, it’ll surely cause pandemonium in the rap game.

Meanwhile, with her new album Y2K set to drop later this year, there’s no telling where she’ll take things next. Will the Batman to RIOTUSA’s Robin keep working with their Jersey drill sound or will this be a new artistic leap with plenty of smoke to spare? Drop your predictions in the comments section down below. As always, keep checking in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Ice Spice.

Nicki Minaj Casually Plays “Big Foot” For IG, Her Comments Flood With Haters

Nicki Minaj has been on a heated rampage for the last week or so, but it looks like things might finally start slowing down. Well, on her end, because fans are no less prone to leaving negative comments and criticisms on social media as a result of her new diss track towards Megan Thee Stallion, “Big Foot,” and the meltdown that she engaged in and targeted against others. Moreover, the Trinidadian MC published a video in the late hours of Thursday night (February 1) of her just vibing out to the song. While there were plenty of Barbz in the comments section, there are also a lot of folks tired of seeing her lash out in this way or that think she’s making things worse for herself.

“the fall off nicki is a hard watch,” “So y’all just gonna ignore the wig cus she nicki ?” and “you still have time to delete this …” were among the most popular comments in terms of likes under this Instagram video. But does Nicki Minaj deserve this backlash for pushing a rap beef and calling out alleged industry wrongdoing? Unfortunately for her, it goes far beyond that: the “Megan’s Law” bar on Meg’s “HISS,” salacious claims with no evidence so far, and threats against other entities, industry peers, and higher-ups. Add on top of that a Ben Shapiro endorsement and many fans are expressing disappointment online.

Nicki Minaj Blasted By Fans Under Video Of Her Chilling Out To “Big Foot”

Still, this is the woman who wrote “Monster” and hit big with “Everybody” recently; things will die down, many will forget, and the Barbz will go back to being the main participants in Nicki Minaj’s Internet presence. However, that will only come when she moves past all this in a significant way. After all, Megan Thee Stallion seems quite unbothered by the whole thing for the ‘Gram, so it’s unlikely at press time that she will respond with another song. Couldn’t the 41-year-old claim this as an automatic victory and just move on, regardless of what fans think?

Meanwhile, with the commercial performance of “Big Foot” seemingly declining, that will likely determine what will hopefully be the last battle of this war: the sales for each combative record. While this is by no means an important metric (especially in rap beef), it will determine the public narrative about who came out on top. Let’s see if either MC does anything in the near future to change that. On that note, come back to HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Nicki Minaj.

Meek Mill Denies Encouraging A “Mean Cycle” In The Black Community

Meek Mill has found himself at the center of plenty of controversy in recent days, and he hasn’t been afraid to fire back. Meek Mill Says His Music Simply Reflects His “Reality”

Meek Mill responded, arguing that he simply raps about the things he’s experienced. “My music reflects my reality of my memory and trauma of what I been through,” he replied. “I rap about all topics.” In a subsequent Tweet, he explained that although he’s grown over the years, that doesn’t change who he is or where he comes from. “I tell my story so people can hear the experience not follow the experience and my pain will explain to you shouldn’t follow it… yeah I’ve grown but I don’t know who yall expect me to act like or rap like… Yes I am smart and know how to clean my act up but I am who I am!” he wrote.
