Cardi B Shows Off Her Curves In Jessica Rabbit Halloween Costume

Cardi B is a style icon these days, so it’s no surprise that she would pop off for her Halloween costume this year. Last night (Thursday, October 31), she became Jessica Rabbit, the iconic animated muse in the 1988 animated/live-action romp, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The Bronx femcee wore a red gown that displayed her curves flatteringly, long purple gloves, color-coordinated makeup, and curly red hair. She pulled up in the garb to her sister Hennessy Carolina’s spooky season bash yesterday, and if you’re curious, Hennessy dressed up as the liquor she’s named after. It all seemed like a pretty great time out in the city.

Furthermore, we hope that Cardi B enjoyed herself to the fullest, as this came after her recent hospitalization for a “medical emergency” that prompted her to pull out of the ONE Music Fest on October 26 just days before the festival. “I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at ONE MusicFest,” she expressed online. “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang, thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love y’all.”

However, Cardi B fans will be able to see her at a very special event very soon, just not in her costume. She will join Kamala Harris at a Milwaukee rally later today (Friday, November 1) as a guest speaker, accompanied by musical guests such as GloRilla, Flo Milli, MC Lyte, The Isley Brothers, and more.

Hopefully Cardi B already feels much better after that hospitalization, although we’d guess that her stunning Halloween look is a great indicator of that. Elsewhere, she’s dealing with a lot right now, including a nasty split from Offset. Content creator call-outs, more demands for the sophomore album, and a third child all took over Bardi’s life this year, and have followed her to this day. Some of it’s negative, some of it’s wonderful, but she always looks good no matter the context.

North West Channels Tyler, The Creator & HER For Halloween

During a chat with her mother Kim Kardashian for Interview magazine’s Fall 2024 cover story, North West revealed that she had big plans for Halloween. The 11-year-old expressed interest in dressing up as Tyler, The Creator, a mermaid, Nicki Minaj, and more. “I’m going to be a sailor pirate and a mermaid with my two besties. Shout out to them. And I’m going to be Kai [Cenat] and Tyla. I’m going to be Nicki Minaj, and then I’m going to be Princess Peach and Princess Daisy with Chi,” she explained.

“That’s my month of planning,” her mom responded. Now, it looks like all of Kim’s hard work has paid off, as North has finally unveiled at least some of her costumes. In one clip, she’s seen replicating Tyler’s IGOR character. In another, she channels H.E.R. during her surprise appearance at Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.

From the looks of things, North is having a blast this Halloween, and couldn’t be prouder of her creative costumes. While social media users are certainly impressed, they aren’t necessarily surprised by her choices. North has made it clear that she’s a huge Tyler, The Creator fan, and even attended his CHROMAKOPIA listening party in Los Angeles earlier this month. She shared some fun footage from the event featuring her mom Kim, who seemed slightly less enthused to attend.

North isn’t the only member of her family to debut an impressive costume recently, however. Earlier this week, her father Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori also dressed up as Marilyn Monroe. She stepped out with short blonde hair and a huge white fur jacket, accompanied by Ye. Her uncle Rob Kardashian’s daughter Dream additionally debuted her Kobe Bryant costume today. Megan The Stallion is turning heads on social media with her Halloween costume, which sees her dressing up as Starfire from Teen Titans. She shared several pictures of the outfit on Instagram on Tuesday, earning praise from several celebrities in addition to her fans.

James Gunn, CEO of DC Studios, even hopped in the comments section to label the look, “incredible.” Cardi B, Flo Milli, and more chimed in as well. One fan wrote: “One thing about Megan is she doesn’t let the media take her shine away.” Another added: “Everyone else can try again next year, you won Halloween!!!”

The Halloween post came a day before Megan took legal action against Milagro Gramz over the YouTuber’s coverage of the criminal case in which Tory Lanez was convicted of shooting her. She accuses Milagro of being a “mouthpiece and puppet” for Lanez and “churning out falsehoods” about the case. Milagro addressed the lawsuit in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday. “I’ve been informed that I’m being sued by Alex Spiro on behalf of his client Megan Thee Stallion,” she wrote while sharing an excerpt of a notice she received. “Of course we’ll chat about it. They threw in the tape too.”

Ice Spice Flaunts Her Figure In Her “Fifth Element” Halloween Costume

Spooky season is upon us, and Ice Spice had a great pick for her (first?) Halloween costume for 2024. She took to Instagram to share some snaps as Leeloo, Milla Jovovich’s character in the 1997 sci-fi flick The Fifth Element. The orange-haired humanoid is the perfect look for the Bronx femcee, flaunting her fitness journey’s results and boasting nice details like matching eyebrows and even Leeloo’s Multi Pass recreated in her image. We’re still a few days away from October 31, so maybe she has another costume in the tank that we’ll see in due time when celebrations pop off.

In fact, Ice Spice has done a lot of style shifts and new looks these days, so this transitioned pretty seamlessly into Halloween celebrations. For example, she recently debuted a new dark-haired look at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. Not everyone was a fan, but most people seemed to at least appreciate that the 24-year-old switched her style up and hasn’t stuck to the exact same image. As irrelevant or superficial as it may seem to some, it’s a tool that a lot of artists can use to visually represent their career moves, push their branding, and just look however they feel like looking. Who says they can’t switch things up?

Another element is that this helps artists distinguish themselves from each other, and failing to do so could prove important in furthering any existing feuds. This was the case for Latto and Ice Spice, who have at least on one occasion drawn style comparisons amid their supposed beef. However, we wouldn’t really put too much stock into that supposed rivalry, as both lyricists seem quite publicly confused as to how and why this rift happened and why the other side is supposedly interested in it.

Such is the vague nature of hip-hop competition sometimes, and it’s a narrative that fans still hold on to. In any case, we’re sure that Ice Spice will continue to impress and dazzle with her style regardless of whether she’s in any rap beefs or not. As one of the first rappers to debut their Halloween costume this year, she started off strong.

Rihanna Dons Stunning Feathered Costume For Barbados Festival

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky didn’t just celebrate their son Riot’s birthday in Barbados, as it seems like they stuck around for even more fun. Moreover, RiRi recently stole the show at her home country’s Crop Over Festival this year on Monday (August 5), donning a jewel-heavy carnival costume with feathered wings and a luxurious crown. As she and her friends (including Ayra Starr) partied on a float for the festivities, they said hi to fans and overall seemed to have a fantastic time. For those unaware, Crop Over is a centuries-old gathering celebrating the end of the harvest in Barbados and is similar to Carnival celebrations in Brazil and Trinidad, for example.

During a May interview, Ayra Starr spoke on meeting the “Diamonds” singer for the first time earlier in 2024. “I was like, ‘Wow! Rihanna!’” she shared. “We got to hang out after the event. Just spending time with my idol, the person that inspired me to do all of this, was the most amazing thing. She gave me so many pointers and advice.” They linked up over some Fenty collaborations, which has been going strong this year.

Elsewhere, though, Rihanna also had to deal with some drama concerning allegations referenced in a new Trap Lore Ross video on Jay-Z, with her former publicist Jonathan Hay shedding some light on these claims. “So I was like, ‘F**k Jay-Z,’ since he won’t give us any attention and he’s being disrespectful to Amil, who was a single mother,” he recalled. “I’m going to get his attention and be disrespectful back to Jay-Z, as Rihanna was the best thing on Def Jam by far.

Another added: “She better than me, I would have cursed him up down , in and out,” which was another popular sentiment in the comments section.

However, not everyone reacted to this negatively. “I think people forget that he was THEE Michael Jackson,” one user posited. “He’s paying homage. She’s definitely seen this numerous times… She’s obviously cool with it and seems flattered. Recent reports emerged about the Internal Revenue Service freezing the Jackson estate’s funds due to a tax dispute. We don’t know exactly how much this is affecting the family or Janet specifically, but it seems like a very complex web. After all, the trust is worth an industrial boat-load of money.

Meanwhile, Janet Jackson seems to be living her life to the fullest right now and enjoying every step of the way. She also sparked some romance rumors with Q-Tip after a flirty Instagram birthday post, so she continues to be part of the rumor mill. However, he does have one saving grace which is his “It’s All A Blur – Big As The What” tour with J. Cole. Overall, this is an incredible arena tour that is bringing two of the biggest hip-hop artists ever, together. The tour just started, and Drizzy is already creating some buzz with his on-stage attire.

If you were paying attention over the weekend, you would know that many were making fun of his Dry Bones-inspired outfit. There was some sort of spine attached to the back and it formed a unique skeleton shape. Fans thought that it looked pretty ridiculous, even by Drake’s standards. However, with all of the criticism making the rounds online, the artist decided to explain himself. In the video below, you can hear Drake address the crowd and give a pretty unique answer.

Either way, the results certainly speak for themselves, and we can’t imagine what they might do as an on-screen Grinch. After all, the Kansas City native is intertwining the worlds of movies and music more than ever these days.

Whether this Grinch outfit is for a video, some promo material, or just for fun, we’re glad that they’re celebrating with style and joy. This was an excellent year for Janelle Monae: their album The Age Of Pleasure, while not as conceptually daunting as previous work, still ranks as one of 2023’s best, waviest, and most soothing auditory offerings. In addition, they also caused a lot of noise with their tour and proudly stamped their identity into the industry as always. Hopefully 2024 yields even more great things in whatever artistic lane will be tackled next.

Moreover, it looks like he wanted to mix bloodsucker aesthetics with El día de los muertos (Day of the Dead), which is an interesting and fair interpretation. However, fans weren’t too kind to the Dipset mogul and potential reunion leader in the comments section of his Instagram posts. If you’re curious, he wore this fit to the The Haunted Castle party hosted by Bernice Burgos & P-Reala in Huntington, New York on Hallow’s Eve. With a pair of black Air Force 1s, Capo didn’t go full Nosferatu, but he certainly wasn’t getting any Playboi Carti fans to rock with him.

Jokes aside, this is just one of many frankly ridiculous but perhaps over-hated Halloween costumes from celebrities these days. If we’re going by the worst of the worst celeb costume standards, then Jim Jones didn’t fumble the bag here nearly as badly as people think. Regardless, this creates a contrast between the traditional macho street image that he presents and his actually trick-or-treating aesthetics. But it’s Halloween, folks; can’t even the hardest rappers get goofy for some candy?
