ScHoolboy Q Seemingly Confirms Kanye West Is The Unfairly Canceled Artist On “Blueslides”

ScHoolboy Q arguably has the album of the year so far with Blue Lips. This is an album that a lot of fans were looking forward to. Overall, it did not disappoint in the last. There were some phenomenal songs on here, including the track “Blueslides” which has proven to be among some of the most popular on the entire album. However, if you have heard the song, you know that Q alludes to a canceled rapper whom he believes has been treated unfairly.

Q has not revealed who that artist is, however, speculation shows that it is Kanye West. Well, according to Reddit user u/TheMisiak, ScHoolboy Q confirmed that it is, indeed, Kanye that is being talked about “When Q performed Blueslides he didn’t censor himself like he did on the track itself. Just thought it was interesting that he waited until the tour to reveal who he was referencing,” the user wrote. “While doing his interview with Nadeska he wouldn’t elaborate on what that line meant or who he was talking about. Also if there are still tickets available in your city for his show I cannot recommend going enough. Best concert of my life.”

EST Gee’s Manager EST Big Beach Allegedly Killed After Kentucky Show

EST Gee suffered a tragic loss on July 21st. The rapper’s longtime manager, EST Big Beach, was reportedly shot and killed in Kentucky. According to WDRB, EST Big Beach was found by police in a vehicle in downtown Louisville. Emergency Medical Services was called to the scene shortly after police arrived, but the manager was pronounced dead. Louisville Metro Police Department spokesperson Aaron Ellis claimed that LMPD have opened an investigation into the shooting, but no suspects have yet been identified. EST Big Beach was 31 years old.

EST Big Beach was in Louisville to support EST Gee’s July 20th concert. The latter was the driving force behind the EST Gee + Friends Summer Jam, which took place at KFC Yum Center. EST Gee brought out a number of superstar artists during the concert, including Lil Baby, Future and 42 Dugg. EST Gee is no stranger to violence. In 2019, the rapper was shot five times while driving back from a music video shoot. He told Rolling Stone he was fully expected to die, but managed to make a full recovery with only slight visual impairment in his left eye.

EST Gee’s Manager Was Found Shot In Downtown Louisville

Gee also spoke on the attention that rappers get from shooting, when compared with those who aren’t in front of the camera. “Regular n**gas is targeted every day,” he asserted. “Regular n**gas get robbed for their jewelry every day. That sh*t don’t be on Instagram. Is it still sad? The sh*t ain’t [perceived as] sad, it’s only sad when it’s a rapper.” Gee’s statements were blunt and bleak enough to intimidate the Rolling Stone journalist conducting the interview. “I feel his eyes peering at me through his Black shades,” they wrote. Sadly, Gee’s comments about non-rappers being claimed has taken on new relevance in light of his manager’s death.

EST Gee has not commented on EST Big Beach’s passing, but he has referenced his manager in song. On the 2019 single “El Toro,” the rapper shouts out his manager for being hustling alongside him in the years prior to his fame. “I bet he spend his nights and days chasin’ a b*tch, I can’t trip,” EST Gee spits. “Summer ’18, me and big Beach had three bricks, on my d*ck. Six months before, all I had saved, I had spent.” EST fans have flooded the comment section of Big Beach’s Instagram to pay their respects.

Metro Boomin To Host Special “Metro Boomin And Friends” Hometown Show

Metro Boomin is the biggest hip-hop producer right now. As far as beat makers in their prime go, it’s Metro and then it’s everybody else. He soundtracked a superhero movie and spearheaded the best rap battle of the 21st century with “Like That.” He also blessed the world with “BBL Drizzy.” Metro is a bona fide star, so now seems like the perfect time for him to celebrate back in his hometown. The producer announced that he will be putting a special one-night only show in St. Louis on July 29.

The show, titled “Metro Boomin and Friends,” was announced through Live Nation. A guest list hasn’t yet been announced. That said, the “and Friends” part of the bill leads us to believe stars will be attending. Metro Boomin was able to secure features from some of the biggest names in rap on his last two albums. It’s safe to assume his partner on those albums, Future, will be in attendance. Both artists will embark on their “We Trust You Tour” the day after, so it would line up perfectly.

Metro Boomin has always maintained his love for St. Louis. The producer was given the key to the city by Mayor Tishaura Jones in 2023. The city also declared December 14 Leland “Metro Boomin” Wayne Day, further establishing his legacy. Metro talked to Rolling Stone about the dual honor, and he admitted that it felt surreal. “From a kid to now, I’ve just had so much pride in being born and raised in St. Louis,” he said. “I can’t even really say it’s a dream come true… I don’t even think I’ve ever dreamt of this.”

Metro Boomin has made a point of giving back to St. Louis since his career has taken off. He has formed partnerships with various local organizations. Particularly those that provide support for single mothers. In addition to his own personal experiences, Metro associates the city with his late mother, Leslie Joanne Wayne. He’s spoken at length about the impact she had on him, and how important it is to him to uphold her positive influence. “St. Louis is such a special place,” he noted to the outlet. “I feel like no one would really understand unless you’ve lived there. It’s a very historic city, a hardworking city.” Tickets for “Metro Boomin and Friends” will be made available for purchase on Monday, July 22.

ScHoolboy Q Blasts OVO For Not Allowing TDE Artists In Toronto

ScHoolboy Q is not happy. The TDE rapper was slated to perform in Toronto, but was allegedly kept from doing so. In response to this last-minute decision, Q hopped on Twitter and criticized the Canadian city for discriminating against his label. He not only accused Toronto of keeping TDE artists out, but hinted at some larger problems between the label and Drake’s OVO crew. ScHoolboy Q also alluded to there being consequences if this so-called sensitive behavior continued.

The Twitter rant took place on July 17. ScHoolboy Q made it clear that he was angry over the cancelation of his show, and called out Canadian police directly. “THey just canceled by sHow in Toronto,” he wrote. “Canadian police don’t want nobody from TDE performing.” The real bombshell, however, came in the subsequent tweet. Q claimed that everything was good between TDE and Drake’s parent label, Young Money. He claimed that Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith was actually hanging out with Birdman and Weezy recently. “Top was just wit Wayne and Baby smH,” he angrily typed. ScHoolboy Q also noted that OVO artist PARTYNEXTDOOR played at the Palladium in Los Angeles without any trouble.

ScHoolboy Q Warned OVO To Tread Carefully

After venting about the various ways in which the beef has been settled, ScHoolboy Q got aggressive. He made it known that if TDE had plans to do something to Drake and OVO, they would have done it already. “If we wanted to get y’all we would’ve just did it,” he tweeted. The last part of the message took on a more ominous tone, with the rapper seemingly warning OVO of potential problems to come. “Now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry…” he concluded. ScHoolboy Q was never involved in the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, but he made it clear which side he was on from day one.

He voiced his support for Lamar, his former label mate, on social media. He also performed alongside the rapper at the legendary “Pop Out” show on Juneteenth. ScHoolboy Q and Dot rapped “Collard Greens” together. Q was also one of the people who posed for the iconic black-and-white photo taken at the end of the concert. Hopefully TDE and OVO are able to set their differences aside and allow touring on both sides, without things getting ugly.

Summer Walker Denies Dating Lil Meech After Attending Show With His Mom

Summer Walker had a busy Sunday. On July 14, the singer attended the Atlanta leg of Chris Brown’s 11:11 tour. She posed with Brown for photos before the show, but the meeting of two stars was not the central focus. Instead, fans were fascinated by who Walker was seen with. She went to the show with Latarra Eutsey, the mother of rapper Lil Meech. Summer Walker had romantic ties to Lil Meech in the past, so fans naturally assumed the familial link up meant that they were back on.

One eagle-eyed Instagram user pointed Eutsey out in Summer Walker’s photos. They wrote “Lil Meech’s mom in the background.” The comment evidently rubbed the singer the wrong way, as she quickly typed a response. According to Walker, the night out with Eutsey was not as revelatory as fans think it was. “Just because you think 2+2 is 4, its not,” she wrote back. “Its 5.” Despite Walker’s assertion that there isn’t anything going on, fans continued to speculate in the comment section. Some theorized that the singer was simply friends with Eutsey, while others felt that the singer was hiding the fact that she is back together with Lil Meech.

Summer Walker Has Dated Meech Intermittently Since 2023

Summer Walker and Meech had a fling back in April 2023. The former confirmed that they were seeing each during an appearance on The Shade Room podcast Caresha Please. However, things seemingly fell apart in July. Walker didn’t mention any names, but she did post cryptic messages alluding a breakup on her Instagram. “Tried my best to be jayda wayda but I couldn’t,” she explained. “I couldn’t. It was cute though, I wish him the best.” In a separate post, Summer Walker implied that Lil Meech was unfaithful. “Can’t do that cheatin’ stuff,” she added.

The internet was confused, subsequently, when Walker and Meech went to a pumpkin patch together in October 2023. Things made a bit more sense the following month, when Walker confirmed that she and Meech were back together. They even posted a photo of Walker kissing the rapper on the cheek. Things went up in flames once more, however, in March 2024. The singer told The Shade Room that her and Lil Meech had once again gone their “separate ways.” It appears as though the story is far from over.

21 Savage Performs For Dead Crowd In Poland: Watch

21 Savage is currently making his way across Europe on a tour in support of American Dream, and evidently, some countries simply don’t turn up like they do in the U.S. In footage making its rounds online, he’s seen onstage giving it his all, but the crowd certainly didn’t match his energy. Aside from a few bobbing heads, nearly everyone was silent and still. Luckily, one of his loyal supporters filmed part of the show and made a point to shout every word.

The clips have now sparked a debate in 2Cool2Blog‘s comments section. While some think that 21 Savage’s stage presence is to blame, others think the crowd may just not have been feeling it, and perhaps attended the festival to see someone else perform. Some also claim that the Polish people aren’t at fault, arguing that they would have been as lively as any other crowd had they been enjoying the show.

21 Savage Runs Into Some Trouble On European Tour

“Just stay home,” one Instagram user says of the crowd. “Who were they wanting to see?” someone else wonders. “Smh.” Fortunately, it looks like he did manage to draw a decently-sized audience, likely saving him from a great deal of clowning. In May, for example, a clip of Rick Ross performing for only a few rows of fans went viral amid his beef with Drake.

Something similar also happened to Quavo in April in the midst of his back and forth with Chris Brown. In both instances, they were ripped to shreds, though they were probably just one-off coincidences. What do you think of 21 Savage performing for an unenthusiastic crowd in Poland? Do you think his stage presence was to blame, or was the audience just not feeling it? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

50 Cent Continues To Terrorize Rick Ross While Touring In Canada

50 Cent is easily one of hip-hop’s biggest legends. Overall, he is still touring and showcasing his immense talent. Moreover, he still has an iconic catalog full of club bangers that still ring off, to this day. However, throughout his career, Fif has found himself at the center of various feuds. He has never shied away from going at it with other artists, and that will likely never change. In fact, he is constantly re-engaging in feuds that are seemingly over and done with.

One feud that he loves to revisit is his beef with Rick Ross. These two do not like each other, although Fif has seemingly been getting the last laugh as of late. Overall, this is mostly thanks to the fact that Rick Ross and his crew were beaten up in Vancouver. This was all in conjunction with Rozay playing “Not Like Us” while in Canada. It led to real-world consequences, and 50 Cent has been making some jokes, ever since.

50 Cent Vs. Rick Ross

For instance, 50 Cent was recently in Canada where he decided to pour some salt in Ross’ wound. Throughout the video above, Fif can be seen asking the crowd why they did what they did to Ross. He was even asking individual crowd members if it was them who laid down the beats. The crowd was cheering at every moment, and it was yet another example of how 50 Cent has never been above being the pettiest person in a room.

Let us know what you think about this situation, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that 50 Cent has been going too far as it pertains to Rick Ross? Playboi Carti Promises Fans That His New Album Is Coming: Watch

Playboi Carti fans are nothing if not patient. The rollout for his last album, Whole Lotta Red, was one of the longest and most protracted in recent memory. The rollout for his next album has been more of the same. That being said, a release date might be in site. Playboi Carti performed at Splash! Festival on July 5th, and he surprised everyone by addressing the album delay. Not only that, but he made a promise to fans they will get to hear it soon.

Carti is known for his aggressive stage presence. It made sense, then, that he dropped his bombshell news while screaming at the top of his lungs. “I promise you,” he told the fans. “The album is coming.” The rapper didn’t stop there. “So it’s only right,” he explained. “That I come here tonight and give you a world premiere.” He then decided to treat fans to the first full performance of the song “All Red,” which is expected to be on the untitled album. Playboi Carti has given fans lots of reason to be hopeful for a new album soon, with all the teasers and snippets. That being said, this is the most encouraging piece of info shared yet.

Playboi Carti Premiered The Song “All Red” At Splash! Festival

Cardo, who has collaborated with Playboi Carti for years, talked about the album’s lengthy making during a recent interview. The producer claimed he was traveling to Atlanta to put the finishing touches on the album. He also revealed that he’s been working on the album for four years, which is even before Carti announced it. Playboi Carti is obviously not a rush. In November, the rapper told Numéro Berlin that he spent three months in a cave. He claimed he wanted to see what the acoustics of a cave would sound like on record.

“I really try to stay out my head,” Playboi Carti told the outlet. “I try to stay out my phone and I just try to lock in. I’m in my surroundings. I’ve been recording in Paris. I love Paris. I was recording in a cave for like three months and all the music that came out of that is just chaotic and crazy.” It’s safe to assume sonic experiments like this are what has led to the album’s delay. That being said, the aforementioned leaks suggest that the wait will be worth it.
