It seems like Beyoncé is doubling down on her support for Lizzo after fans believed that she shaded her during a recent “RENAISSANCE” tour stop. Moreover, there’s a part of “BREAK MY SOUL” in which the superstar sings her name that she omitted during a show. However, this speculation didn’t last long, as she made sure to mention the “Special” star during a subsequent performance. If you didn’t know by now, this came about thanks to the multiple allegations of mistreatment, sexual harassment, and the creation of a hostile environment against the singer. After this speculation lit a fire on the Internet, the Lemonade artist made things much clearer.

“I love you, Lizzo!” Beyonce proclaimed during her most recent tour concert as of writing this article. With this, many fans expressed divided opinions over Queen Bey’s support. Some still dismiss the allegations as just the frustrations of ex-employees, whereas others give more credence to their testimonies and experiences. Overall, it’s still a recent development with not much official information out there, so it’s tough to determine the validity of this at the moment. Still, that doesn’t mean that these dancers and colleagues shouldn’t get their deservedly due consideration and that Lizzo shouldn’t be held accountable.

Whatever results from the trials and hearings on the lawsuits will define the Cuz I Love You creative’s career for the foreseeable future. Given that she has a strong relationship with Beyonce, this support surely means a lot to her moving forward. After all, Lizzo’s seen her perform 11 times, and the Houston native has always been one of the biggest industry figures by her side. Regardless, this is going to be a messy and unclear process moving forward, so we will see how this proclamation ages.

Mariah The Scientist Declares Young Thug Her “Baby Daddy” During Festival Set

Mariah The Scientist was among many great artists who performed at the 2023 Outside Lands music festival in San Francisco on Friday (August 11). Moreover, her engaging set saw a highlight when she took a moment to address a more personal and pressing issue at hand. Of course, you might know the Atlanta native not just as a compelling artist, but also as Young Thug’s flame, who’s currently in prison on RICO charges related to his YSL collective. During her performance, she confirmed the extent of their relationship and expressed strong support for his freedom. Furthermore, the crowd was incredibly receptive to this, and called for a prompt prison exit along with her.

“Now, you know I got a man,” Mariah The Scientist told the large crowd before her at the Outside Lands festival. “He locked up. Free my baby daddy!” Then, the crowd erupted in a “Free Thug” chant which the R&B singer fired up and directed, which was a great sight to see. Young Thug’s court case has been one of the biggest and most complicated rap stories of the past few years, and it looks no closer to commencing. With that in mind, many want the Atlanta trap pioneer to enjoy himself and escape these conditions ahead of the real trial’s inception.

Soulja Boy nearly took a tumble while attempting to skateboard on stage during a recent concert. He shared a clip of the moment on Instagram, Sunday, while laughing it off. “Almost fell off my skate board lmao,” Soulja captioned the post. “I love y’all!”

Fans shared plenty of laughs in response in the comments section. “FIRST RAPPER TO ALMOST BUST HIS ASS OFF A SKATEBOARD ON STAGE!” one user wrote. Another trolled: “First rapper to drop albums nobody heard about.” The latter was referring to the release of Soulja World 3, which Soulja dropped last month.

The latest concert mishap comes after Soulja reflected on his influence on hip-hop in honor of the genre’s 50th anniversary. In a series of posts on X, over the weekend, Soulja called for more respect for his impact. “When I came in the game they said I killed hip hop. But really, I birthed the new wave of hip hop with internet/streaming. Ahead of my time. #HipHop50,” he wrote in one post. He followed up by adding: “Now everyone vlogs their career like me. Now everyone uploads their music to the internet. Now everyone goes live for their fans. I started it. Thank me or not. Drake Confirms That A New Bad Bunny Collaboration Is Coming Soon

Two of the biggest stars in all of music may have a new collaboration on the way. Drake and Bad Bunny technically have two collaborations under their belt. While the pair teamed up for a remix of the PARTYNEXTDOOR track “Loyal” they’re mainly known for linking up on the 2018 song “MIA.” Over the weekend, Bad Bunny was in attendance for a stop on the “It’s All A Blur” tour in Los Angeles and the audience got more than they bargained for as a result.

Before his portion of the show began, Drake confirmed to the crowd that Bad Bunny would be appearing on his forthcoming new album. “I want to tell y’all something ’cause y’all are L.A., and we love you. It’s been like six years since me and Benito did a song. So, we got a song coming for y’all on my album.” Bad Bunny was attending the show alongside Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Tristan Thompson. The four became just the most recent in a long list of celebs showing up to various stops on the tour.

Chloe & Halle Bailey Attend Beyonce’s “Renaissance World Tour”

Chloe and Halle Bailey both attended Beyonce’s stop on the Renaissance World Tour in Atlanta on Saturday night. The two shared pictures from their night out on Instagram afterward. In a series of photos and videos, the two danced along to Beyonce’s performance and showed off their outfits.

For the event, Chloe went with a matching black latex set while Halle wore an oversized pink set with a diamond necklace bearing her name. It was Beyonce’s second of three performances in the city.

The Bailey sisters have crossed paths with Beyonce on multiple occasions over the years. Following the release of Chloe’s debut solo studio album, In Pieces, she revealed that Beyonce gave her notes on the project. “Yes, I know she listened to the album,” Bailey told E.T. after the release of In Pieces. “She gave me notes on it before I released it. I love her so much. Dearly, dearly, and I’m so grateful to her for everything.” Beyonce also presented Chloe and Halle with the Rising Star Award at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, referring to them as her “sisters.” She said: “You’ve done this with authenticity, with grace, with raw talent, and you manage to shine in every room you enter, and I’ll always love you.”

Speaking of the release of In Pieces, many fans of Chloe blamed poor sales numbers on a lack of promotion from Beyonce. In response, Chloe shut down the complaints. “I love B,” she said on The Breakfast Club. “She supported my sis and I since we had our little locs on YouTube so it’s all love over here, I love her. I was like, ‘At least they’re talking.’ And at least people will go and listen to the project. And as much as people try to bring up numbers and things like that, I’m trending every other day. Marketing can’t buy that. A label can’t buy that. So people care enough to constantly have my name in their mouth. So, I’m doing something right.”

Dominic Fike Strips Down To Change Clothes On Stage

Dominic Fike stripped down to his boxers during a concert in Los Angeles, earlier this week. He did so while changing outfits on stage in full view of his fans. A clip of the incident is circulating on social media.

Fans had mixed responses to the move when Pop Crave shared it on Twitter. “You either get the ick or you like this there is no in-between and this is just giving me the ick,” one wrote. Another joked: “That man don’t have one song where he need to be doing all that.” Others remarked that Fike is “living his best life.”

The Los Angeles antics aren’t the only thing Fike has made headlines for on tour. During a more serious moment from a show last week, the 27-year-old paused his performance to reflect on the passing of his Euphoria co-star, Angus Cloud. “I guess I lost a friend of mine recently,” he said on stage while strumming his guitar. “He died the other night, which is wild to say because I don’t deal with grief often. I haven’t had a lot of death happen around me, and this was the first time I feel like I knew the person well enough to cry over and feel something. It was weird.”

“I sometimes look at people like sparks,” Fike continued. “I zoom out, and I think people have wavelengths. If you zoom out far enough, you see some people — probably not a lot of us at all — but I think if you zoomed out millions of miles, you would see this kid’s spark. You could see it from so far away, even if it was a short flash. He would light up a room, any room he walked in. He’s a fucking good dude. I felt stupid coming out here. Like, this is so stupid, doing a show and being happy. But he would’ve wanted me to do that. He would’ve been like, ‘No, do the show, have fun.’” Fike has performances scheduled throughout North America in the coming months. He’ll be traveling abroad in the fall.

Other performers at the event included Run-DMC, Lil Wayne, Eve, Wiz Khalifa, and Nas, among others. The concert celebrated the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.

Flo Milli shared numerous pictures from the event on Instagram, Saturday afternoon. She captioned the post: “Thank you @tooshort & @snoopdogg for bringing me out last night [fire emoji] #hiphop50.” Fans were loving the rapper’s all-black outfit for the performance. “I love you QUEEN your light shines so bright !!!!,” one user commented. Lil Kim Has Revealing Wardrobe Malfunction During Massive Hip-Hop 50 Show

Some of hip-hop’s stars from every era gathered at Yankee Stadium in New York City to celebrate the genre’s 50th birthday to massive success on Friday (August 11). However, not everything about the show went perfectly for everyone, but then again, it’s a small hiccup in a much larger astonishment. Moreover, Lil Kim unfortunately suffered a wardrobe malfunction (more specifically, a nip slip) during her time on stage. She wore a shiny crop top and shorts with a jacket over herself, and at one point, the mesh gave out and revealed some extra, unintended skin. Still, the legendary femcee shrugged it off and continued to excel in her performance regardless of the mishap.

Furthermore, it was one of many amazing performances that night, joined by hip-hop legends from every corner. For example, Run-DMC gave what is apparently their final performance ever as a group, closing their indelible chapter in rap with the most meaningful bow possible. Among other rappers who performed were Snoop Dogg, T.I., Lil Wayne, Ashanti, Fat Joe, Common, the legendary duo EPMD, and many more. With all those titans in mind, Lil Kim’s malfunction is but a small and glossed-over piece in the puzzle.

For far too long, the media has sensationalized incidents like these and placed blame on the victim of it. Regardless, it’s only as negative as you make it, and it’s clear that Lil Kim took everything in stride and would not let that define or hinder her performance. In addition, that was far from the most notable or important surprise of the night, as special guests joined the artists that were already on the roster. For example, hip-hop’s godfather DJ Kool Herc was in attendance, and The Fugees and Lauryn Hill put on a surprise set with Nas.

All in all, the show was over six hours long, and it would be a disservice to try to sum up everything great about it. We would leave out so many important contributors to the genre, so don’t let a simple piece of clothing distract you from the magic that took place here. Also, the ceremony honored many rappers who lost their lives over the years, making this as poignant and powerful as it was fun and fabulous. Fat Joe Joins 50 Cent Onstage At Brooklyn Performance

50 Cent stopped at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on his “Final Lap” tour earlier this week, surprising audience members with a very special guest. He brought out fellow New York legend Fat Joe, who performed “Lean Back” and “All The Way Up.” By the sounds of things, fans were extremely excited to see the duo together. Famously, they had a heated feud that lasted years, and finally put their beef to rest in 2012 following Chris Lighty’s passing.

Fat Joe wasn’t the only surprise guest he brought out at his Brooklyn performance. During the show, he also welcomed Young M.A. to the stage, who went on to perform “Ooouuu!” 50 Cent will continue to make several stops around the U.S. and Canada before moving on to the international leg of “The Final Lap” tour. He has notable performances scheduled in LA, Chicago, Seattle, and more before heading to the Netherlands at the end of September.

In an interview with Cam Capone News last month, Fat Joe dished on his previous beef with Fif, revealing that he was pretty shocked he had the courage to diss him. Apparently, 50 Cent went after him due to his association with Ja Rule. “It was so brilliant because it was the shock and awe effect,” he explained. “I had the persona of New York Suge Knight. Like, y’know, people feared Fat Joe and the Terror Squad in that way, y’know? So for [50 Cent] talking about Fat Joe in the same city … the funeral homes was making bids.”

Later in the interview the artist also revealed that his beef with 50 Cent actually ended up teaching him a few things. “I had to learn how to not be impulsive,” he shared. He added that social media was new to him at the time, and amid the drama he was able to learn how to navigate it. “It’s not for real real street guys. We just don’t know how to react on there,” he explained.

Travis Scott Promises Fans He Will Make More Beats This Year

Travis Scott just dropped his highly anticipated new album UTOPIA. The project immediately made waves with both fans and critics. UTOPIA had the biggest first-week sales for any rap album released this year at nearly 500k. That impressive total marked the third biggest debut for any album this year behind new projects from Morgan Wallen and Taylor Swift. Its feature packed tracklist seemed to include almost everyone fans could hope for and more. Drake, Beyonce, SZA, Young Thug, Future, Playboi Carti, and many more artists appear in the tracklist.

Now Travis could have some more collaborations coming soon. While he often produces or co-produces many of his own instrumentals, many forget just how good he can be at beat-making. In a new tweet, the rapper appears to want to get back in the studio soon. “Making more f*cking beats this year. Sh*t is tooo fun,” he promises fans. While that doesn’t necessarily indicate that any new material is coming soon, fans were nonetheless excited about the idea of Scott producing again. The quickly rushed to the comments to suggest which rappers he should produce for. Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, and even Kanye West are among the artists suggested.

Earlier this week Travis Scott hosted a massive UTOPIA concert in Rome. It was originally supposed to take place in Egypt shortly after the release of the album but the show was delayed due to production issues. After it was ultimately rescheduled to Rome over 60,000 fans piled in for the concert.

Unfortunately, the show didn’t go off completely without a hitch. Someone reportedly sprayed a bunch of fans with pepper spray during the show. It resulted with over 60 fans getting treated for various injuries that resulted. The fans during the show reportedly caused a small earthquake.
