Pharrell Williams Previews Old Miley Cyrus Collab During Cowboy-Inspired Louis Vuitton Fashion Show

Pharrell Williams is easily one of the best creatives of his generation. Overall, he is responsible for some classic songs and projects. Moreover, he is someone who has entered the world of design. For instance, he has done work with BAPE, Billionaire Boys Club, Adidas, and now, Louis Vuitton. In fact, he is currently the head designer over at Louis V and is taking up where Virgil Abloh left off. He has a few fashion shows under his belt already, and these endeavors have proven to be quite successful.

Yesterday, Pharrell got to host his Louis Vuitton fashion show for the Fall/Winter 2024 season. It was a pretty cool show that even featured the likes of Pusha T. Furthermore, a ton of big celebrities were there, including those from the hip-hop world. The new collection is Cowboy-themed and explores the America Old West. It is a really cool concept, and as you can imagine, it was accompanied by some Pharrell music. For instance, below, you can hear a song with none other than Miley Cyrus.

Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Partners With Swarovski For Exclusive, Shiny Collection

Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand continues to grow, expand, and establish itself as a leading voice in fashion. Moreover, the company’s latest collab is with none other than Swarovski, melding together their shape-wear with the jewels that their partner is so well-known for. If you’re interested in copping a piece or two, it goes live on November 7 at 9AM EST on the SKIMS website and in select Swarovski stores. In an Instagram post, the reality TV star and socialite shared some words on this latest venture. “a first of its kind collaboration that fuses @Swarovski’s iconic glamour with @SKIMS innovative silhouettes, resulting in a unique crystallized collection,” she wrote.

Furthermore, this comes just days after SKIMS’ announced partnership with the NBA, which is not the end of Kim Kardashian’s fashion empire. In fact, she recently expressed a desire to also assume ownership of her ex-husband Kanye West’s Yeezy brand one day. But that’s irrelevant right now; what matters is that the 43-year-old is very proud of this particular Swarovski collab. “I feel like it really embodies who I am, in being really simplistic, but then I have this full glitzy feminine side,” she told The New York Times about the team-up.

Kim Kardashian Unveils SKIMS X Swarovski Collection

Of course, that aforementioned gossip about Kim Kardashian’s family and relationship life tends to unfairly overshadow these business moves, at least when it comes to news headlines. While that’s an understandable phenomenon, it’s also a great way to market brand moves these days. For example, this Swarovski collaboration comes amid comments about Ye’s humble lifestyle that premiered on The Kardashian‘s recently. Well, humble in the comparative sense, because we all know there’s no way that word could ever describe the Chicago rapper accurately.

Regardless of all that, it’s very clear that SKIMS is by no means suffering as a result. After all, it’s all tied to Kim’s name at the end of the day, and that alone is bound to nab some attention. It helps that the clothing brand is emerging with its own shadow outside of that, something that the money proves is much larger than any one person. He continued: “Today, the Maison remains faithful to the spirit of its founder, Louis Vuitton, who invented a genuine ‘Art of Travel’ through luggage, bags and accessories which were as creative as they were elegant and practical.” Prior to being at Louis Vuitton, Pharrell worked with Nigo to create the streetwear brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream in the early 2000s. He also worked with Adidas on numerous occasions as well as several other brands.

Louis Vuitton announced Pharrell as its new Men’s Head Designer back in February, earlier this year. Freddie Gibbs’ 2Pac Joke Bombs In New HUF Collab Skit

Freddie Gibbs has teamed up with HUF for a new skit promoting their upcoming collaboration. In the video, Gibbs performs a stand-up comedy routine with a joke about 2Pac. After the joke bombs, he storms off stage in anger.

“I wanted to be like 2Pac when I was coming up,” he explains in the video. “I was gonna call myself 1Pac.” He continued: “I was gonna be No. 1, even though he was 2Pac. I was gonna kinda be the second version of a ‘Pac. We was both gonna be ‘Pacs.”

Freddie Gibbs and HUF’s collaboration will be dropping on Thursday, May 25. The collection is called “After Dark We Really Come to Life” and features Las Vegas casino-inspired gear. Among the options are a satin jacket, track pants, and a craps skate deck.

While the new bit is a sketch, Gibbs has explored stand-up comedy before. He took his Cokane Comedy series on the road in 2021, bringing out Danny Brown. He’s also appeared in the Peacock series Bust Down. Speaking with Vulture, last year, he explained that he grew up with an appreciation for stand-up. “That’s something I started doing last year just to display comics. I love comedy, man, and I love putting it out there. I grew up watching Robin Harris, Martin Lawrence, Richard Pryor, Bernie Mac, and guys like that, I just love that world,” he told the outlet. He continued: “Yeah, I’ve been dibbling and dabbling in it, trying to get better. It comes naturally. Being onstage, being a rapper, and talking to people all day, it’s kind of easy.”

Freddie Gibbs Works With HUF

As for the music side of his career, Gibbs recently appeared on Kaytranada and Aminé’s joint project KaytrAminé. He is featured on the track, “letstalkaboutit.” Other guests on the album include Snoop Dogg, Pharrell, and Big Sean.

Ice Spice & Offset Appear In Beyoncé’s Adidas Campaign

Ice Spice and Offset will appear in Beyoncé’s promotional campaign for her Ivy Park and Adidas collab, Park Trail. Moreover, it follows today’s drop of a Top Ten 2000 collab between Adidas and Ivy Park. In promotional shoots for the RENAISSANCE artist’s latest collection, Spice and Offset dress to impress.

Furthermore, this Park Trail line includes gender-neutral performance apparel items. Sequined jackets, faux fur coats, canvas tracksuits, performance tights, hoodies, sweaters, sweatshirts… you name it. Also, they chose quite an interesting color pallet to vary these pieces up with. They include forest green, lime green, cream white, indigo orange, purple, and a camouflage print. Still, let’s not forget the kicks.

Moreover, the line represents “trail-blazing expression of performance wear inspired by the resilience of the outdoors, the spirit of the streets, and the possibilities of the future,” according to a company statement.

While fans wait on new videos or shows from the R&B queen, her newest Ivy Park line is dropping on February 9th in Adidas stores and online. In addition, select retailers will put it up for sale on February 10th. However, that’s not all that excited fans about this drop. In promotional material for the new collection, Ice Spice, Offset, his son Kody, and other notable names such as Devon Aoki made appearances.

Still, both artists have much more to celebrate than some promo shoots with one of music’s dominant forces. The rising Bronx star just dropped her debut EP, Like…? to much buzz. As one of the most talked-about rappers working today, she’s reached the highest heights quite rapidly.

Of course, Offset is no stranger to these echelons. On his end, he just dropped his Hit-Boy collaboration, the track “2 LIVE.” Still, the Internet recently buzzed around him recently for comments Cardi B made about their relationship. Even though it’s been a rocky road, the two seem to be happier than ever.

Still, what do you think of Offset and Ice Spice assisting Beyoncé with promo for her new collection? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, check back in with HNHH for the latest in pop culture moguls, whether in fashion, music, or both.
