Yung Miami Speaks On Having Diddy’s Baby, New City Girls Music, And Not Wearing Panties During Twitter Q&A

The first half of 2023 found Yung Miami primarily focusing on her acting career, but now that summer is quickly approaching, she and JT have been back on the music grind. The City Girls came together with Diddy and Fabolous for their first song of the year, “Act Bad,” which was later followed by “I Need A Thug” and the previously teased “Piñata.” Fans of the female partners in rhyme were obviously happy to hear their salacious singles, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t already begging for updates on more music.

Miami was slammed with plenty of questions about what’s next for the City Girls during a Twitter Q&A on Thursday (June 15) afternoon. She addressed some of them, along with others about her on-again-off-again situationship with Sean Combs, coupled with other hot topics. Perhaps one of the juiciest responses we got from the mother of two is confirmation that, if Diddy got her pregnant, she would keep it. The Bad Boy just welcomed another child with Dana Tran last fall, and many thought this would put a rift between him and Caresha.

Yung Miami Confirms She Would Have Diddy’s Baby

Elsewhere, the Florida native revealed that she and Combs had their first date at Tootsies, her favourite childhood cartoon was SpongeBob SquarePants and that she has no plans to move out of Miami. As for her more NSFW replies, the “Twerkulator” rapper told us which positions are her favourite in the bedroom, and that she apparently “[doesn’t] wear panties.”

As far as an album announcement for the City Girls, Caresha wrote, “Chile idk don’t ask me s**t fr!” when one user pressed for a confirmation date. What she was willing to spill, however, is that she gets particularly raunchy on an upcoming track from the project that we can’t wait to hear.

City Girls Turn Up The Spanish Flair On Their New Single, ‘Piñata’

City Girls have dropped their much-anticipated single, “Piñata,” just in time for the summer. Yung Miami and JT first previewed the song during their set at Rolling Loud in California back in March. Now, they are gearing up for the release of their third album, having released a two-pack of songs over the course of 24 hours.

Hours after dropping “I Need A Thug,” the girls surprise-released “Piñata.” On the song, the girls rap with some Spanish-inspired flair.

“I’m wet like agua / got him bussin’ like a choppa / P*ssy make him do the cha-cha / He wanna hit it like a piñata,” rap the girls on the chorus.

In an interview with Complex published earlier this week, the girls spilled the tea on their new era. While they have several playful hits in their cannon, Miami and JT are determined to deliver a classic with their third album.

“It’s just a perfection thing right now,” said JT. “I don’t want to put out nothing corny. I feel like we’ve been here too long, and I don’t even want to play how we used to. I want the music to be good and hit. It’s still p*ssy rap, like it’ll be fun, but much more elevated. It’s elevated p*ssy rap.”

City Girls’ New Single Will Make You Want To Hit It Like A “Pinata”

The City Girls have had fans begging for new music since wearing out 2020’s City On Lock by blasting tracks like “P*ssy Talk,” “Jobs,” and “Rodeo” over the past few summers. Yung Miami and JT have long promised that they have more heat on the way, and they’ve finally made good on it this week by sharing two new singles. The first, “I Need A Thug,” hit DSPs on Thursday (June 8), while the latter, “Pinata” landed on New Music Friday after the pair premiered it at Rolling Loud California.

As expected, their latest release is filled with plenty of salacious bars, from the Caresha Please host rapping about needing a man who’s got a lot to offer in the bedroom as well as in his wallet. “Twenty pointers for Christmas / Gotta play for the Spurs or the Clippers,” Miami adds on her verse, seemingly hinting at a future romance with a famous athlete in her future.

Yung Miami and JT Let Loose on “Pinata”

On the chorus, JT sultrily rhymes, “Pussy make him do the cha-cha / He wanna eat it like a pinata” before later getting into some NSFW bars of her own. Both of the Florida duo’s new tracks follow their collaboration with Diddy on “Act Bad,” which also features an appearance from Fabolous. After a significant time without any new bops from the City Girls, the internet is making it clear that they’re happy to have more hits to add to their summer playlist. We still don’t know when the partners in rhyme plan to drop their next LP, but we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop with any updates.

City Girls on “I Need a Thug”: ‘We Hold Hot Records for Fun Season’

The City Girls are here to take over the summer. The duo dropped off their new song, “I Need a Thug,” flipping LL Cool J’s “I Need Love” to a 2023 flavor of their own. Speaking with Zane Lowe on New Music Daily, JT and Yung Miami reveal how the song happened.

“I think it was both of our idea because we heard the beat, and then the sample was already in there and it just sounds fun,” JT said. “It sounded like a fun sample. We be holding onto to the hot records and then we put them out the fun seasons, summer, spring.”

Yung Miami revealed the album will be loading soon. “I know I always say spring, summer, but it is coming next month. I can tell y’all that it’s coming in July.”

The two can also be heard on “Act Bad,” with Diddy here. “I Need a Thug” below.

Screen Shot 2023 06 08 at 3.45.37 PM

Today, Miami’s trailblazing City Girls return with the new single “I Need A Thug.” via Quality Control / Motown. Yung Miami and JT are primed to make it a too make it the Summer to act bad. Real Bad.

With sex-positive lyrics and bombastic beats, “I Need A Thug” finds City Girls breaking down what they do and don’t want in a man. The song turns the corner on LL Cool J’s “I Need Love,” and features JT and Yung Miami trading verses about their ideal man. “I need a thug with swag, like a rock star,” raps JT. “Bonnie and Clyde s–t, tongue kissin’ in cop cars.”

“I Need A Thug” follows “Act Bad,” a recent collaboration with Diddy and Fabolous. Prior to that, the duo left their mark on 2022 with “Top Notch” featuring Fivio Foreign and “Good Love” — an uptempo linkup with R&B legend Usher. The latter was the latest in a long line of outrageous hits stretching back to 2017’s “Fuck Dat N***a.” Since then, they have landed platinum records with bangers like “Act Up” and the Cardi B-assisted “Twerk.”

City Girls Amplify Album Anticipation By Dropping A Summer Anthem Contender, ‘I Need A Thug’

Yung Miami covered a special issue of The Cut in April and was asked for an update on the next City Girls album.

“Girl, I ain’t even gonna tell!” Miami said in the accompanying cover story. “I don’t know, like, it is coming, and it will be sometime this summer — for real, for real, for real. When you doing a project, it takes time. We’re trying to sit through it and make sure that that’s what we want to put out. It’s gonna hit different.”

The timetable was narrowed down with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe on Thursday, June 8, when Miami confirmed the album is due in July (as relayed by Billboard). City Girls officially initiated an album rollout by simultaneously dropping “I Need A Thug,” a two-minute single that packs enough punch to contend as a summer anthem. (Their Instagram and Twitter accounts promise “City Girls loading…” and “#CityGirlsAreComing.”)

Billboard additionally noted that Miami and JT drew from LL Cool J’s “I Need Love” for the duo’s first featureless song since 2021. The chorus also pays homage to TLC: “I need a thug / Sex, money, and drugs / Private jet flights while I’m gettin’ my back rubbed / Like TLC said, ‘No scrubs’ / Cut a check before I even give a hug.”

Last month, City Girls hopped on Diddy’s “Act Bad” with Fabolous, and the single’s video is as raunchy as you’d expect. City Girls enlisted Usher for “Good Love” nearly one year ago, which followed in the footsteps of the Fivio Foreign-assisted “Top Notch.”

Diddy Took Yung Miami On A Lavish Shopping Spree And The Photo He Posted Was Priceless

Diddy, Fabolous, and City Girls are living the life of luxury on their new single, “Act Bad.” It appears that Diddy and Yung Miami of City Girls celebrated their collaboration in style.

In a clip Miami shared to Twitter, she is seen shopping at various stores, purchasing items like clothes and handbags, handing the cashiers credit cards and stacks of money. The video clip is synced with a portion of “Act Bad” — Miami’s verse, on which she raps. “He wanna sponsor my act bad / Double R, black bag, Tom Ford, black tags / Walkin’ out Chanel with a black bag / Yeah, it’s givin’ body bag, listen up, scallywags”

Though Diddy was reportedly declared a billionaire back in October of last year, he appeared to be worn out by all the shopping. It appears he covered the bill for the day, as Miami said “Thank you papiiiii” in her tweet.

But by the end of the day, it seemed like Diddy was just happy it was all over. He doubled down on his visibly frustrated reaction by sharing a screenshot of the video clip, in which he looked tired, but relieved to get out of the store.

You can check out the clip and Diddy’s hilarious reaction above.

Diddy Gets Straight-Up Naked In His, City Girls, And Fabolous’ Absolutely Wild New ‘Act Bad’ Video

Diddy is a notorious bad boy, City Girls can’t help but act up, and Fabolous has made the streets his family. So when all three musicians come together, it will surely be an epic party. On their new collaborative track, “Act Bad,” co-produced by Diddy himself, the group wants it to be known that the summer is theirs for the taking.

In the official visual for “Act Bad,” directed by Kid Art, all eyes are on Diddy and his “special friend,” Yung Miami, as they can’t keep their eyes and hands off of each other. As the recording artists race down the Miami highway in their exotic cars, endlessly party, and overly consume Diddy’s DeLeón Tequila, it is clear that they have no care in the world. At one point, Diddy is even full-blown naked.

JT raps, “When a broke hoe’s hot, that’s bad advice / And these n***** ain’t sh*t, act bad for life / They treat a good girl wrong, and a bad one nice / So act,” driving home the point that respectability politics or other’s opinions of her behavior doesn’t matter in the slightest.

The song’s concept is essentially the subtle art of “not giving a f*ck,” according to the mogul. In a video shared on Instagram, Diddy spoke about the single, saying, “[Fabolous, City Girls, and I] all teamed up together to drop the song of the summer. It’s gonna be an Act Bad summer.”
