Ciara Sports MSCHF Big Red Boots & A Michael Jackson Graphic Tee

We’ve seen some undoubtedly questionable fashion trends throughout the years. The latest craze to have everyone talking is MSCHF’s Big Red Boots. All month long, various celebrities have been stepping out in the undeniably obnoxious footwear, either earning praise for taking a style risk or being totally trashed by trolls. Fivio Foreign mostly received the latter, while Coi Leray conversely seems to be influencing people with her look.

On Thursday (February 16), Ciara revealed that she too is finally buying into the trend. The southern-born songstress posted a video on several social platforms that finds her singing her upcoming “DaGirls” track. For her outfit of the day, the mother of three donned sunglasses, layered chains, and an oversized Michael Jackson graphic tee.

The red elements on her shirt obviously match MSCHF’s boots, making for what some would argue is a very cute outfit. Of course, not everyone is a fan – and the haters certainly haven’t been quiet about speaking their opinion. “It’s giving Olive Oyl!!” one person joked, markedly comparing CiCi to Popeye’s animated wife.

“We need to start calling the cops on anyone wearing these boots. Stop trying to make fetch happen,” another user declared, expertly quoting Gretchen Weiners from Mean Girls. Thankfully, it hasn’t all been hate in the 37-year-old’s replies. “Only [you] could pull this off, beautiful queen,” a fan praised her on Twitter.

Other celebrities to step out in the MSCHF Big Red Boots lately include Iggy Azalea and Pardison Fontaine. The former paired hers with a red thong. She chiefly put her curves on display while the latter shared a photo in his amid rumours that he and Megan Thee Stallion have split. They officially went on sale earlier this week, though they’ve since sold out and are going for upwards of $1,000 on StockX.

Ciara’s Instagram feed has been lighting up with stylish content since 2023 began. In fact, at the top of the year, followers began speculating that the “1, 2 Step” hitmaker is with child again after she appeared to hide her stomach in a post. The rumours have since seemingly been put to bed, but you can still read all about them here.

Ciara Checks Jason Whitlock For Blaming Tyre Nichols’s Death On “Single Black Mothers”

The murder of Tyre Nichols by several Memphis police officers has captured the attention of the U.S., and Ciara didn’t like what a particular sports journalist had to say. Earlier this month, 29-year-old Nichols was pulled over for a traffic stop. The incident escalated, and he was pulled from his vehicle, pepper sprayed, and tased by a group of officers.

He managed to run from the ordeal, but he was tracked down, held against his will, and beaten. Three days later, he succumbed to his injuries. The City of Memphis released four videos showing the development of the encounter. In one clip, Nichols is seen being held down on the ground as a cop kicks him in the head. Another takes out a baton and beats him. Later, Nichols is also held up by several officers as he’s repeatedly punched. While on the ground, the man cried out for his mother.

The outrage was swift, and commentator Jason Whitlock chimed in with his takeaways.

“There is a racial element. And this is a story about young Black men and their inability to treat each other in a humane way,” Whitlock said. “Everybody involved in this on the street level was either 24 to 32 years old. Everybody. It was a group of young Black men, five-on-one. Looked like gang violence to me.”

Then, he shifted the blame.

“It looked like what young Black men do when they’re supervised by a single Black woman.”

Ciara caught wind of the hot take and didn’t like what she saw.

The singer tweeted, “.@WhitlockJason As a black man to get on national tv and say something like this is irresponsible.”

A lot of amazing kids have come from single mothers,” she further stated. For you to also undermine single black women in the midst of this tragedy is so sad. This woman just lost her son! Do better!”

Ciara gained wide support for her reaction, but Whitlock returned to only double down on his initial remarks.

“Appreciate the feedback, Ciara,” he said. “But at some point, we are going to have to deal with the negative impact of baby-mama culture. It’s destructive and unsustainable. Come up out of the denial. Denial won’t fix the problem. Thanks.”

Whitlock continues to defend that “baby mama culture” is to blame for violence within the Black community. Meanwhile, a sixth officer has been relieved of duty in connection with the Nichols case.

It was reported that Preston Hemphill was also involved in the beating of the 29-year-old. He has not been arrested at the time of this publication.

Ciara Dons A Sultry Cutout-Clad Little Black Dress While Strutting To Lil Baby’s “Frozen”

In the early days of 2023, Ciara’s name was surprisingly followed by pregnancy rumours from speculating internet sleuths. At the time, some speculated that the mother of three obviously had a bun in the oven. According to them, she seemed to be hiding her usually toned tummy in her Instagram thirst traps.

The 37-year-old refused to comment on the gossip, instead choosing to share more heartwarming – and mouth-watering – content on her profile. From videos of her three children supporting their father Russell Wilson on the field to donning a skin-tight black and red ensemble for a motorcycle-themed photoshoot, Ci’s been proving that she truly can do it all.

After taking some time off from posting on her feed, the Texas-born starlet markedly returned on Sunday (January 22). That afternoon, she uploaded a sultry clip of her expertly strutting down beautifully lit stairs, soundtracked by Lil Baby’s “Frozen.”

Ciara’s outfit of the night perfectly showed off her athletic figure. The top half of her black dress is clad with cutouts that show off her cleavage and abs. From afar, the bottom looks to provide more coverage. As the songstress saunters past, however, it becomes obvious that the sheer fabric leaves little to the imagination.

Beneath the see-through skirt, which comes complete with waist-high slits on either side, her behind looks as bootylicious as ever in a black thong.

While she certainly looks beautiful, that didn’t stop haters from chastising Ciara for showing skin. “Praying you learn to understand what it means to be a modest woman,” one user wrote in her comment section. “Not only for yourself, but also for your family. You are an amazing wife and mother. Don’t follow what the world wants you to be.”

On the opposite end, responses gassing her up say things like, “Let’s all be honest, Ciara gonna be a certified baddie even when she’s 60. That woman gonna still have men like me drooling for 20 years.”

Though she’s undoubtedly happy in her current marriage with Wilson, last November, Ciara took some time to address her 2014 split from Future, who she shares her eldest son with.

Ciara Pregnancy Rumours Are Running Rampant On Social Media

We’re just one week into the new year, but already, pregnancy rumours are running rampant online – for one couple, at least. According to online speculation, Ciara may become a mother of four in 2023, though no official confirmation has come just yet.

The gossip actually began circulating in late 2020, though it’s only increased in recent days as social media users have been carefully eyeing her every post for any signs of a budding baby bump.

On Friday (January 6), the “Body Party” hitmaker posted a bootylicious video while wearing a cheetah print look. While she usually proudly flaunts her rock-hard figure for the camera, in this clip, the starlet was noticeably using her left arm to shield her stomach from full view.

Immediately, fans took to the comment section to call Ciara out. “Tryna hide that damn baby,” one person specifically wrote. Another pointed out, “He said he wanted one more baby,” referring to the singer’s husband, Russell Wilson.

Interestingly, the NFL player shared a tweet back in December that also sparked some pregnancy rumours. In the early half of the month, he wrote “JESUS I am Grateful!!!” This led one person to ask him, “@ciara pregnant?!”

The couple already shares two children – Sienna Princess and Win Harrison. Additionally, Ciara welcomed a son with rapper Future, who was named after her ex.

As social media users have pointed out, Wilson hasn’t held back on chiefly expressing his desire to expand his family. He and Ci are frequently referred to as “couple goals” and have been previously known to express their intimate (sometimes downright sensual) PDA on the internet for everyone to see.

Check out Twitter’s reaction to the speculation below, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.
