Charlamagne Tha God Emphatically Blames Joe Biden After Disastrous Election Results For Democrats

Charlamagne Tha God went off on Joe Biden during Wednesday morning’s episode of The Breakfast Club while discussing the results of the 2024 presidential election. The rant comes after Donald Trump declared victory over Kamala Harris from his watch party at Mar-a-Lago just before 2:30 AM, EST. By that point, he had clinched 277 electoral college votes.

“Biden is one of the problems here because he should’ve let everyone know he was just a transitional president,” Charlamagne began. “He should’ve let everybody know he was just going to do four years and get on about his business. Biden should’ve dropped out a year ago or two years ago. And they should’ve made him drop out a year or two years ago. Or not drop out, but say he was not going to run again. Whoever could’ve prepared. They could’ve done a proper primary, picked a candidate. I still think the V.P. probably would’ve been the best choice. I think Biden is one of the bigger issues here that people aren’t going to want to talk about but they should. At the end of the day, America spoke loud and clear. It was a free and fair election. People went out there and voted for the candidate that they wanted to vote for and now that candidate is our President.”

Donald Trump Declares Victory

In addition to the presidency, the Associated Press reports that Republicans have won control of the U.S. Senate, helping Trump secure confirmation of his Cabinet picks as well as any choices for Supreme Court justices if vacancies arise. Charlamagne concluded: “The things that they’re going to do in the White House with control of the Senate is going to affect us all.” The House of Representatives, on the other hand, is still being decided.

50 Cent Has Hilarious Response When Asked About Ghostwriting For Diddy With JAY-Z

50 Cent recently recalled ghostwriting for Diddy during an appearance on The Breakfast Club, earlier this week. At one point in the show, Charlamagne played a portion of Diddy’s verse on the track, “Let’s Get It,” on which he raps, “Send the cops, the D.A., and the feds to come get me.” 50 Cent joked in response: “I ain’t tell him to say that.”

As Charlamagne played another song, 50, laughingly remarked, “Jay helped me with that. Jay did that part right there.” Of JAY-Z, he added Diddy would tell him different ideas to add in: “His mind is formatted like that. You know how artists are freestyling, freestyling, and freestyling? JAY remembers the idea so he can just say it without writing it down. He just has it in his head.”

The comments on collaborating with Diddy come as 50 continues to work on a documentary about the numerous allegations the Bad Boy mogul has faced in recent months. He previously announced that the project would be available on Netflix. Diddy is currently behind bars in Brooklyn while awaiting trial for his charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. He’s already pleaded not guilty and denied the allegations.

GloRilla Speaks Candidly About Pregnancy & Having Kids After Lyrics On “GLORIOUS” Cause Confusion

It’s an exciting time for GloRilla and her fans, as she has finally released her debut album. GLORIOUS hit all streaming platforms this past weekend and it contains features from the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Sexyy Red, T-Pain, Muni Long, and more. It’s been a pretty run-of-the-mill rollout for it, however, there have been some fans raising questions. On the track “RAIN DOWN ON ME,” a more gospel centric cut which has Kirk Knight, Maverick City Music, and more, there are some bars that turned some heads. “Watch over my family, Lord, and watch over all of my partners / And even though he hate me, Lord, watch over my baby father.” This led some to assume that GloRilla had some kids she was gatekeeping from the public.

She hasn’t addressed these lyrics in particular, but she’s had to debunk some theories surrounding pregnancy in the past. But this isn’t the only track that’s leading to some speculation. Charlamagne tha God had Big Glo on for a new episode of Out Of Context, and during their conversation, he asked her about the song “PROCEDURE” featuring Latto. This song already has some buzz around it thanks to the ATL femcee’s verse, but Charlamagne wanted to touch on one of Glo’s lines. “This nigga tryna get me pregnant, I need to tie my tubes (On God).”

He wanted to confirm with her that she’s really been experiencing that, to which she replied, “yeah.” The “tie my tubes” was sort of a half joke, but GloRilla also expresses that she would like to have kids. But instead of physically giving birth, she says she would much rather have a surrogate mother instead. Part of the reason is that she’s seen her friends carry kids and they came across as “restricted” in her eyes. Charlamagne was a little insensitive following her comments, saying, “It’s just nine months,” but she played it off by laughing and replying, “That’s just too long.” Fans were in the comments of The Shade Room‘s repost and applauding her for being candid and sticking to her guns in the interview.

Charlamagne Tha God says he believes that Drake is seriously “hurting” after hearing his speech on betrayal and fake friends from a nightclub in Toronto on Saturday night. He discussed how the For All the Dogs rapper is holding up in the wake of his feud with Kendrick Lamar during the latest episode of The Breakfast Club.

“I thought that Kendrick’s execution of this battle was flawless, the strategy, the songs, everything, but I didn’t think that it had that much of an impact on Drake. Drake hurts. Oh my God. He is hurt,” Charlamagne said. While discussing Drake’s alleged decision to unfollow LeBron James, Demar Derozan, and more who were in attendance at Kendrick Lamar’s The Pop Up concert, he added: “You can’t go on an unfollow spree then go on a stage and cry about not having no real friends or whatever that was about.”

You’re probably aware of how the Diddy scandal has either created or revived a lot of conspiracy theories around celebrities, whether they’re responsible for abhorrent things or they were silenced by the industry. However, Charlamagne Tha God doesn’t take these theories very seriously… Except when talking about the King of Pop, that is. “I’ve been hearing that theory about, you know, the corporations,” he began. “Listen, I could be totally wrong. I don’t think that there’s too many people that are important enough for a corporation to want to do all this to. And I really mean this when I say this, and I know that this is a crazy conspiracy theory. There’s only one person I believe in Hollywood who people conspired to actually take down. I’m talking about a mass conspiracy. Anytime they take you down, it’s people conspiring, ‘Cause it’s usually because you did some s**t.

“But I think that there’s one person who they really took down because he had too much power,” Charlamagne continued. “And I believe that person was Michael Jackson. I truly believe that. The reason I believe that is because – you can look into the story. You know, we had Deon Cole on The Breakfast Club the other day. Deon Cole told us the story of how he got high with Paul McCartney, and Paul McCartney told him. Paul McCartney and Michael used to be real cool. Paul was telling Michael, like, ‘Yo, you got to get your business together, you got to get your business right.’ He told him about the publishing game. Michael ended up getting so big that he bought The Beatles’ publishing. The Beatles’ publishing was worth so much that, literally, Sony gave Michael Jackson half of their publishing company just to own The Beatles’ catalog.

“So whenever you used to see – look it up!” he added. “Whenever you used to see Sony ATV, that was Sony and ATV was Michael Jackson’s publishing company, right? Imagine how powerful a Black man is when he owns a majority of the music industry’s publishing. And, in some cases, was even giving publishing back to some of the artists. He gave Little Richard his publishing back. I don’t know how many people he did that to, but he gave Little Richard his publishing back. Look, in 2016, Sony paid $750 million to acquire Michael Jackson’s – what is that, 50% stake in Sony ATV Music Publishing. A joint venture that Jackson and Sony formed in 1995. This made Sony the sole owner of the world’s largest music publishing company. I believe – this is all conspiracy theory. This is Brilliant Idiots, by the way, we just talking, it’s a podcast.

“I believe that Michael Jackson had too much power in the music industry, had too much control over the most valuable asset in music which is people’s publishing, and I believe they had to take him out because of it,” Charlamagne concluded. “Smear his name, you know, eventually get him up out of here. And 2016, *laughs* they got their bag for way cheaper than they probably would’ve paid if he was still alive. He’s the one person. Motherf***ers talk about how Bill Cosby tried to buy NBC… You know, nah. He’s the one person I believe in entertainment – entertainment, mind you, I said the entertainment industry. Conspiracies happen all the time in other industries that actually really matter. But in the entertainment industry, he’s the one person I believe, actually, they killed his reputation and ultimately killed him.”

Moreover, he’s warned his alleged associates of retribution, spoken on his inner circle, and done a lot to try to wade through and understand the allegations and supposed lifestyle at hand. For example, during the radio host’s latest sit-down with Andrew Schulz for their Brilliant Idiots podcast, they discussed why Sean Combs might’ve done the things he allegedly did.

“Diddy, for some reason, he’s either incredibly arrogant and doesn’t think that he can be taken down, or he believes that he’s innocent, or he believes that there are people that would go down if he went down and they wouldn’t want that to happen. The news of Diddy’s indictment, arrest, and denials of bond in court have been pretty chaotic to witness, as everyone is reading these documents and commenting on all these accusations. Most of them (except for his recorded abuse of Cassie in a hotel room in 2016) remain allegations and not confirmed crimes. We have to wait for a due legal process to come to any conclusions. Still, many folks wonder what the Bad Boy mogul’s inner circle must have been like amid all this, regardless of whether their debauchery was criminal. For example, Charlamagne Tha God recently posited on the latest episode of The Breakfast Club that Sean Combs probably did not have many true friends in his circle that warned him about these alleged crimes, if they did happen. Still, his comments also apply to people being able to check his hedonism.

“Yeah, [I don’t see this going well for Diddy whatsoever] neither,” Charlamagne Tha God expressed on The Breakfast Club. “I just really can’t wrap my mind around someone having so much to lose and moving the way he was moving. It just makes me think that man doesn’t have not one single solitary friend around him. Because if you’re worth a billion dollars, you got kids, you got all these employees, all you need is one person that cares about you.

“All it takes is one person to say ‘Hell no,’” Charlamagne Tha God continued concerning Diddy. “‘Get these guns away from him. No, you not getting no prostitutes. You’re getting a girlfriend. Actually, you need a wife.’ Somebody should’ve been there to tell Sean Combs to grow up. But maybe he didn’t listen because he’s too far gone off drugs, alcohol, and booty. All types of booty. Variety of booty. Women booty. Men booty. Other booty. In the indictment, it says ‘women and others.’ 72 gender identities, Diddy seems like he wanted to try every flavor. What about the booty?

“[I’m stuck on the booty] ’cause this man seems like an addict,” Charlamange Tha God’s Diddy analysis concluded. “A sex addict, a drug addict, a power addict. And being in that cell, it’s going to be the first time in probably forever that he’s forced to sit still and get sober. Reality is going to hit him hard. Whatever he’s been running from, he cannot run no more.”

Charlamagne Tha God and AWA Launch Kickstarter for New Graphic Novel “ILLuminati”

Today, Artists Writers and Artisans (AWA) launched a Kickstarter campaign for ILLuminati, an all-new supernatural thriller produced by Charlamagne Tha God. This 128-page graphic novel merges hip-hop culture with comics and introduces a new female hero, exploring the urban legend of a Black Illuminati. The campaign runs through October 22, and the project brings together some of the top Black creators in the comic industry.

ILLuminati is written by Bryan Edward Hill (Ultimate Black Panther), drawn by Denys Cowan (Static Shock), and inked by Bill Sienkiewicz (New Mutants). Cover art is provided by Sanford Greene (Bitter Root), and variant covers pay homage to five of the most influential hip-hop albums of the last 50 years, curated by Charlamagne.

“For me, The Black Illuminati is the most enduring urban legend of our day,” said Charlamagne. “I’m passionate about merging hip-hop and comics, and this story is told authentically, celebrating Black creators.”

The story follows Lily, the psychic twin sister of a rising hip-hop star who dies under mysterious circumstances. Lily journeys to Los Angeles, becoming entangled in a dark conspiracy that touches power, fame, and culture.

Backers of the Kickstarter campaign can access exclusive rewards, including special editions, merchandise bundles, and VIP experiences with Charlamagne and the creative team.

Charlamagne Tha God Has A Warning For All Of Diddy’s Alleged Associates

Charlamagne Tha God was one of many hip-hop personalities to weigh in on Diddy’s arrest from last night. The mogul is being indicted although for now, we are unsure of what the charges will be. However, this morning, there will be some clarity on the case and what the indictment entails. Overall, this could be massive and it could spell a long legal battle for Diddy. Of course, he was raided back in March at his homes in New York, Los Angeles, and even Miami.

On The Breakfast Club this morning, Charlamagne had a fair warning for all of those who may have been associated with Diddy. Ultimately, he chose to take the angle of the alleged “Diddy parties” which have been mythologized over the last few months. As you can imagine, the entire Breakfast Club panel was curious about the arrests and what it could mean for the entire industry. If one thing is for certain, the entire hip-hop world is paying attention to what could be a landmark indictment.

“If he gets racketeering & sex trafficking for freak offs there will be others involved… if you ever ran a train with Diddy you’re probably going go jail… if youve ever been butt naked anywhere with Diddy and there was some women around or men around that he told you were part of the party party, you’re probably going to jail…” Charlamagne said. It is an interesting prediction, but it is assuming a lot right now. Only time will tell what comes of all of this.

I hope Drake isn’t going around saying that. Because why wouldn’t you do the Super Bowl? Of course you would.

“If you took the time to write a rap that says ‘Big as the Super Bowl,’ then you understand the magnitude of the Super Bowl and you would absolutely do the Super Bowl,” Charlamagne Tha God theorized. “I don’t believe that. Let’s just say, hypothetically, he did get offered. That right there dispels all of the Internet rumors about Jay-Z hating on Drake, then. “So clearly, Jay-Z’s not hating on nobody,” Charlamagne Tha God continued. “He’s helped Wayne, he’s ‘offered’ Drake the Super Bowl, which I don’t even believe. I don’t believe that happened. But let’s just say hypothetically that he did. [He either offered you the Super Bowl] or he’s hating. He liked the post about Cam saying, ‘I guess Jay was hating.’ He didn’t say Jay, he just said one person is hating, he never said who it was. I saw [Drake] like the post. So if you liked the post – I forgot what site he was on. But if you liked the post and then you turn around and say you’ve been invited to do the Super Bowl and you turned it down? Like, eh.

“Unless he was invited before [Jay-Z became the curator] of the halftime show, but I don’t know,” Charlamange Tha God concluded. “I don’t believe that. Let’s be clear. There was no rap at the Super Bowl halftime shows before Jay-Z. You had very, very, very safe rap artists who hit that stage as part of ensembles. The only one I can remember is Nelly. That’s literally the only one I can remember.”
