Central Cee Goes Full R&B On “I Will”

Central Cee was one of the handful of talents from the UK who really helped the country represent itself well in 2023. While the West Londoner did not drop a project, his singles and features speak for themselves. From working with the biggest artists like Drake, Pink Pantheress, The Kid LAROI, and Dave, to getting an XXL Freshman bid, he really came into his own. Now, to open up 2024 Central Cee is bringing his first track called “I Will.”

However, this is not your typical UK drill Cee that you have become accustomed to. “I Will” sees him take a journey over the R&B genre for a song about giving a promiscuous woman a chance after meeting her at a night club. He raps on this one still but with a more low-key and slower delivery. Some of the lyrics are a little too much though.

Listen To “I Will” By Central Cee

You got your c***hie shaved just in case you find the right male / Said your body count’s twelve, but your p***y tight still.” The beat is also a little to generic, but at least Central Cee is exploring different lanes. His year is far from over though, as according to Uproxx, he is nominated for four categories at the BRIT Awards. Those include Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Song Of The Year for “Sprinter” and “Let Go,” as well as Artist Of The Year.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “I Will,” by Central Cee? Do you like him going into an R&B direction? Is he the hottest UK rapper going right now, why or why not? Do you want to hear a new album from him this year? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Central Cee. Finally, stay with us for the most informative song posts throughout the week.

Quotable Lyrics:

Go and drop that bomb and watch that s*** go up in flames
You make me feel young again, I don’t wanna grow up
I don’t even know her, f*** until my d**k don’t go up
Movin’ your waist, we pick up the pace, I make that s*** go slower
Just give me the date and pick a place and go pack the Rimowa
We can go to Phuket, if you f*** with this

Central Cee Makes A Romantic-ish Overture With ‘I Will,’ His First Song Of 2024

Central Cee takes a stylistic swerve on his first single of 2024, aiming to show off a bit more versatility as he prepares to follow up his 2022 album 23. On “I Will,” Cee makes romantic(-ish) overtures to a potential paramour over a gently strummed guitar, promising, “You’re tryna find someone to take you home and show you love / If nobody will, I will.”

In the video, Cee narrates as his video star spends time going through her daily life and hanging out with her homegirls. The video also shows a softer side of the London rapper, who is set to have a massive breakout this year after receiving a high-profile co-sign from Drake in 2023.

Cench was also included in the 2023 XXL Freshman class alongside GloRilla, Luh Tyler, and more. His buzz increased with the release of “Sprinter” with Dave and the Valentine’s Day single “Me And You.”

Next week, Cee will be at the 2024 BRIT Awards, competing for four awards: Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Song Of The Year for “Sprinter” and “Let Go,” and Artist Of The Year. He recently won MOBO Awards for Best Male and Song Of The Year for “Sprinter,’ giving him a total of six MOBO Awards.

Central Cee Shows Off The Fruits Of His Labor In His ‘Entrapreneur’ Video

UK drill rapper Central Cee has quite a year. From opening for Drake on the It’s All A Blur Tour to collaborating with the likes of Jung Kook, The Kid Laroi, and Drizzy himself, Cench has shown himself to be quite the budding star. And he’s earned this buzz despite not having dropped any solo music this year. Until today (December 21) that is. Today, Cench has shared “Entrapreneur,” a new single on which he displays his hustler spirit.

Over a glimmery beat, Cench looks back on the past few years, and the growth he’s gone through to get to this point.

“We put the trap in the entrepreneur / All of the time we spent in the field, woulda thought I got me a Ballon d’Or / I’m stackin’, not droppin’ a bag in Dior / Went from a Toyota Yaris to Urus, I still got the same work rate as before / Two years that I ain’t been home, seven-hundred and thirty days on tour,” raps Cench on the song’s chorus.

In the song’s accompanying video, Cench and his crew are seen rocking stylish streetwear, displaying the fruits of his labor. He also shows off some clothing from his SYNA streetwear brand.

You can listen to “Entrapreneur” above.

21 Savage Teased That His Next Solo Album Would Be Released Soon During His Homecoming Show In London

In October, after years of immigration conflicts,”Spin Bout U” rapper 21 Savage received his green card. That meant he was finally cleared to travel internationally without restrictions for work obligations. On November 30, he returned to his home country, England.

A visibly cheerful 21 Savage was met with thunderous applause. The warm welcome at London’s O2 Arena by the crowd continued throughout the sold-out show, which featured openers Baby Drill and 21 Lil Harold. As he felt the overwhelming support from attendees, 21 Savage treated them to details surrounding his next solo project.

“London, I love y’all. I hope this ain’t my last time seeing y’all,” he announced. “And my album finna drop, so y’all get ready.”

During 21 Savage’s homecoming show, he was sure to show love to several prominent local UK rap acts, including Central Cee and J Hus. Jamaican musician Popcaan also made a surprise appearance.

21 Savage’s latest album was the Grammy Award-nominated collaborative project, Her Loss, with Drake, which dropped last year. Prior to that, 21 Savage partnered with Metro Boomin for their 2020 album, Savage Mode II.

21 Savage Invites Central Cee, J Hus, And Others On Stage To Celebrate Return To London

Last month, 21 Savage took off on his first-ever European tour. It came after a multi-year fight to establish his permanent American citizenship to ensure that he would be allowed to return to the country once the tour finished. A few years ago, fans were shocked when Savage was arrested by ICE and the information went public that he was originally born in the UK. Now, he’s finally making his return to the country with a massive show at London’s O2 Arena.

He’s been on tour across Europe all month where his shows have been getting rave reviews. He made a splash with his debut Paris show which featured a number of high-profile guests and throughout the entire month he’s been playing hyped shows across the continent. He even took the time between shows to work on a music video. Clips made the round earlier this week of Savage in Brixton shooting a music video with a number of extras on motorcycles. But he seems to have saved his biggest show for last.

21 Savage Lights Up London In Debut Show

The final stop on his European tour was a return to London where he was playing a highly-anticipated debut show. Savage delivered on the expectations for his show with what fans are calling an incredible performance. He brought out a trio of special guests that definitely fit the proportion of the moment. Central Cee, J Hus, and Popcaan all joined Savage on stage and were met with massive praise from fans in attendance.

21 Savage also racked up 5 nominations for the 2024 Grammys. Four of them come from his collaborative album with Drake Her Loss. The project is up for Best Rap Album with its songs individually picking up three more nominations. He also scored yet another nomination for his Burna Boy collaboration “Sittin’ On Top Of The World.” What do you think of the guests 21 Savage brought out during his first ever show in London? PinkPantheress & Central Cee Put A Foreign Twist On Today’s “R&B Season” Playlist

The mid-way point of November is already near, meaning Christmas spirit is ripe in the air. At this time of year, many prefer to take a break from their hip-hop-heavy playlists in favour of slow jams and holiday hits. Thankfully, you can count on our weekly R&B Season update to recap some of the hottest releases for you. Unsurprisingly, Chris Brown’s 11th studio album, 11:11 is at the top of today’s list – specifically his “No One Else” collaboration with Fridayy.

More heat from Breezy comes later on, but before that, we hear from two UK superstars on “Nice to meet you.” Central Cee is just one of the recording artists who joined forces with PinkPantheress on her debut LP, Heaven knows. Rema and Kelela are the others, along with Ice Spice on “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2.” The viral remix is one of Pink’s biggest hits to date, though she recently shared that she thinks the song is “crap,” even with all its numeric success.
