PinkPantheress & Central Cee Put A Foreign Twist On Today’s “R&B Season” Playlist

The mid-way point of November is already near, meaning Christmas spirit is ripe in the air. At this time of year, many prefer to take a break from their hip-hop-heavy playlists in favour of slow jams and holiday hits. Thankfully, you can count on our weekly R&B Season update to recap some of the hottest releases for you. Unsurprisingly, Chris Brown’s 11th studio album, 11:11 is at the top of today’s list – specifically his “No One Else” collaboration with Fridayy.

More heat from Breezy comes later on, but before that, we hear from two UK superstars on “Nice to meet you.” Central Cee is just one of the recording artists who joined forces with PinkPantheress on her debut LP, Heaven knows. Rema and Kelela are the others, along with Ice Spice on “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2.” The viral remix is one of Pink’s biggest hits to date, though she recently shared that she thinks the song is “crap,” even with all its numeric success.

The Kid Laroi, Jung Kook, And Central Cee Might Be ‘Too Much’ For Their Past Loves In Their New Video

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve heard from The Kid Laroi. But the Australian pop sensation is back with new music, as he gears up for an impending new era. Tonight (October 20), Laroi has teamed up with global superstars Central Cee and Jung Kook for a new collaboration, “Too Much.”

On their promising new collab, the three international acts reflect on a past relationship, pondering on the idea of rekindling with their once-loves.

“If we had the chance / and the time to spend, would you do it again? / Would you do it again? Was it too much?,” sing Jung and Laroi on the song’s chorus, with Laroi’s vocals sounding more polished than ever.

The song’s accompanying video features the three on interactive covers of the fictional Too Much Magazine. On their respective covers, the three artists dance the pain away, as ladies find the magazines on newsstands. Laroi sports a shorter, bleached-blond do, signaling the beginning of a new season in his life. The three hitmakers prove to be as inescapable in the video as they are on the radio, especially as the magazine arrives to a young woman’s home.

The Kid LAROI Announces New Song With Jung Kook And Central Cee

Following a string of new singles earlier this year that was punctuated by an appearance on the Barbie soundtrack, The Kid LAROI has been quiet for a few months. He pulled out of an opening slot on Lil Baby’s tour following reports of low ticket sales and canceled shows. Ultimately, he didn’t give much explanation to his reason behind abandoning the tour dates. The next time he spoke to fans it was with an Instagram post updating them on the status of his new album.

“I’m sorry I’ve been a bit silent. Been going through a lot recently. I’m good but I’ve just needed space to focus on processing my feelings & work. Here to let you know that a lot of videos have been shot these past couple weeks, I shot the album cover & I’m working with the label to get you a date. I also added more songs to the record. It’s done though. I love you. Thanks for staying with me,” he captioned the post. Now, fans who waited are finally getting announcements of new music from the rapper. Drake Calls Birdman His “Real OG,” Kai Cenat, Central Cee, And Roy Woods Stop By Tour

Drake recently brought his It’s All A Blur tour to Atlanta, where he was visited by some very special guests. In new photos making their rounds online, Roy Woods is seen posing alongside UK rapper Central Cee as well as streamer Kai Cenat. The trio looked to be in great spirits, enjoying the show from the VIP section. Central Cee has opened for Drake at a variety of stops throughout the tour, including Glendale and Charlotte.

In one clip, Cenat and Central Cee can be seen rapping along to Lil Baby’s “Freestyle,” together, and seemed to be having a blast. Kai Cenat, Central Cee, and Roy Woods aren’t the only artists who paid Drake a visit at his recent tour stop, however. In another clip, Cash Money Founder Birdman can be seen in the crowd, and of course, Drake had to give him a shoutout.

In the clip, Drake makes his way down the stairs when he spots the New Orleans native. “Hey!” he says, telling fans to “make some noise for [his] real OG.” He then grabs the camera and directs it at Birdman, who takes the opportunity to wave to the rest of the audience. The two of them are known to have a solid relationship since Drake’s departure from Birdman’s label. “I’m always going to be involved in the Cash Money/Young Money imprint,” Drake explained to Rap Radar in 2019. “And my loyalty, like I said, always lies there.”

Drake’s now at the tail end of his It’s All A Blur tour, after kicking things off in July. He’ll wrap things up this month, with a couple of shows in Toronto next week. He then plans to head to Denver, New Orleans, Nashville, and Columbus, but those dates have yet to be announced.

Proud Toronto Native Drake Dubbed One City ‘The Most Important Place In Rap Music’

Apparently, “Slime You Out” rapper Drake is going against his 2010 cardinal mantra: never home but always repping. Yesterday (September 25), when his It’s All A Blur Tour stopped at the State Farm Arena, the proud Toronto, Canada, native bestowed a rather cherished title onto the city of Atlanta.

In between songs, Drake took a moment to share his thoughts on the region’s impact on hip-hop culture.

“What would any of us be without Atlanta? All the love that you’ve shown, all the musicians that you birthed, all the contributions that you give. This is hands-down the most important place in rap music. And you should be very proud of yourselves,” declared the entertainer.

Although the sold-out crowd cheered in agreement, others had mixed reactions to the claim once the fan-captured clip was shared on social media.

“Aubrey is no different from a politician,” declared one user, referring to critics that Drake panders to every city he visits.

“Anyone that doesn’t say New York is hallucinating,” barked one user.

“But if it wasn’t for the Bronx, this rap sh*t would probably never be going on, so tell ’em where you from,” proclaimed another.

Despite the overwhelming pushback on his commentary, several users still agreed with Drake’s remarks.

“He is telling the truth. Unfortunately, Drake says this everywhere he goes,” wrote a user.

“He’s got a point. Atlanta has had a hold on rap music for at least 15 years as a collective,” penned one user.

Kai Cenat And Central Cee Link Up At Drake’s ATL Show

Drake’s It’s All A Blur tour has been a highlight in the entertainment world for the past couple of months, captivating audiences across North America. Tonight, the tour made its way to Atlanta, where the excitement continued to build. The concert not only drew a massive crowd but also brought in more celebrities and notable figures. Among the notable attendees were British rapper Central Cee and the popular streamer Kai Cenat, who added to the star-studded audience. The atmosphere appeared energizing, with fans and celebrities alike eagerly awaiting Drake’s performance.

In a lively Instagram video shared from the event, Kai Cenat can be seen capturing the moment as he sings along to the lyrics of Lil Baby’s “Freestyle,” which serves as the backdrop to his video. As he sings every word, he looks like he’s having the time of his life. The video then pans to Central Cee who begins singing along to the lyrics with Cenat.

Central Cee and Kai Cenat Look Like They’re Having Fun

Drake’s ability to draw such a diverse and high-profile crowd underscores his status as a global icon and the tour’s immense success. In fact, Drake is definitely seeing a massive payday from the tour. As HNHH previously reported, “the tour will make well over $200 million by the time it concludes in October.” As Drake continues to make his way across North America, it’s clear that it will leave a lasting impact on fans and celebrities alike, solidifying its place as one of the most unforgettable tours of the year.

The Atlanta show built a lot of excitement among fans, and this anticipation was perhaps even more intense for one particular attendee. While performing in Houston, Drake took a moment between songs to express his appreciation for one devoted fan. In a generous gesture, he paused the show to acknowledge a woman in the front row who he noticed had attended multiple tour stops already. He gifted the woman an experience of a lifetime, offering to fly her first class to the Atlanta show where she would get to sit VIP and watch the concert. To top it off, he also said he would gift her $10,000 to spend during her time in the city. Stay tuned to HNHH for more stories!

Central Cee Shares Controversial Caption About The Devil As He Poses With Doja Cat And Ice Spice

Other than Dave, Central Cee is now the biggest name in the UK. He is making headlines with some of the top-flight artists in rap. We can talk about his fire collab with Drake, but he is making some head-turning comments right now. One of Cee’s biggest tracks, “Doja,” recently caught the attention of Doja Cat. Complex recently shared a video to their complexmusic IG account with the female artist hilariously talking about how Cee references her in the song.

Cee raps, “Somebody tell Doja Cat / That I’m tryna indulge in that / In my grey tracksuit, see the bulge in that.” A very obviously sexually charged bar, Cee is clearly not hiding his opinions about the 27-year-old. Now, there is tons of speculation around this whole situation. The reason for that is because the “Sprinter” rapper took a trip to New York for Fashion Week. Doja Cat and Ice Spice, Doechii, and plenty of others were also in attendance.

All four of them shared the fun times they had on Instagram, but Central Cee’s post is getting the most buzz it seems. A good deal of the attention stems from the fact that Cee made those comments about Doja. Additionally, he and Ice Spice have some music in the vault, and AllHipHop believes they could be talking about their work together. However, some people are giving backlash to Cee for his caption that references the Muslim religion and their holy text, the Qur’an. When you translate it to English, it reads, “I seek refuge in Allah from the devil of the evil.” It pokes fun at Doja’s recent devil-inspired persona but people in the comments do not care about that. Some feel he is disrespecting the sacred book saying, “at least respect the religion tf is you posting w that caption.”

What are your initial thoughts on Central Cee sharing this post on Instagram with this caption? Do you think we have music on the way with Cee, Doja Cat, and Ice Spice? Why do you think he was in New York? Was it mainly for the fashion show or to see the two female rappers? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around Central Cee, as well as the rest of the music world.

Doja Cat Shares New Pictures With Ice Spice, Doechii, And Central Cee

Doja Cat has released some of the biggest and some of the most controversial singles of 2023 so far. First in terms of the biggest, her song “Paint The Town Red” is expected to challenge for the number one spot on the Hot 100 this week. It would mark her second number-one hit following “Say So” with Nicki Minaj and her first as a solo artist. It also has another connection to Nicki. If it hits number one it will be the first rap song to top the charts since Minaj’s song “Super Freaky Girl.” That track debuted at the number one spot over a year ago.

Doja has also faced more than her fair share of controversies. That started subtly with her embrace of some imagery that fans deemed demonic or even satanic. Clearly, that rubbed her the wrong way and led to her doubling down about what’s really satanic for her fans. Her newest single “Demons” and the very controversial music video attached to it dropped last week causing even more drama for the singer. Unsurprisingly though, the controversy doesn’t seem to bother her much.

Doja Cat Getting Ready For Tour

Doja Cat’s new album is set to arrive later this month after a number of name changes and speculated release dates came and went. Scarlet drops on September 22 and will have to compete with Drake’s new album For All The Dogs. The pair will likely battle to grab the top spot on the Billboard 200. She’s also taking off on tour later this year and just shared some pics with her opening acts.

The Scarlet Tour is due to kick off on Halloween night and sees Doja hitting the road with breakout superstar Ice Spice and R&B darling Doechii. The trio have clearly been hanging out recently and Doja shared some picture of them all together. Included in the new photo dump is also pictures of her with Central Cee, who she shouts out in the caption. “come see us all on tour and central cee is a great dude also my pepperonis,” the post reads. What do you think of the new pictures Doja Cat shared with Ice Spice, Doechii, and Central Cee? Let us know in the comment section below.
