Boosie Badazz Concert Shut Down After Two Men Were Shot Dead

A concert that was meant to feature Boosie Badazz and other artists like Rob49 was tragically cut short after two men were shot dead on Saturday (August 10). Moreover, Boosie was headlining “The Pull Up Car Show” in Pacific Junction, Iowa, but before the concerts were set to begin, a shooting broke out at the event’s parking lot. Both fatal victims were in their late twenties and from Omaha, Nebraska, and the circumstances or motives behind this incident remain very unclear. The “Letter To The LGBT” rapper even took to Instagram after the fact, expressing sadness over the show being shut down and over what happened. Our prayers go out to the victims’ loved ones.

However, Boosie also spoke about waiting for his performance for hours, so it seems like he wasn’t properly informed of the shooting that occurred. He even asked fans to keep the party going with him at a nightclub, but it seems like he wasn’t very successful in these efforts (we’ll see if any club clips emerge). Back to the shooting though, according to TMZ, authorities relayed that they began an investigation into the fatal attack. The Baton Rouge rapper has had a bit of bad luck as of late when it comes to his proximity to crime, as he also witnessed police arresting Lil Reese in a since-cleared case.

Boosie Reacts To Concert Shutdown After Shooting

Elsewhere, Boosie recently spoke on how seeing Lil Uzi Vert’s flamboyant Marc Jacobs campaign appearance rubbed him the wrong way. “I was pissed,” he told DJ Vlad. “Before [they were] all doing that I was kinda f***ing with [them]. I just don’t agree with all [their], like, s**t these [people] be doing out here. How’s somebody ever gonna raise a strong young man when you looking like a strong young woman? All these men who need to do that, your child looking at you. One day your child might ask you, ‘Daddy, why you got on nail polish and all this stuff like Mommy?’ What you do follows you.”

Meanwhile, he also had questions about Dwyane Wade’s sexuality after the launch of his nail care brand. “I don’t even got to say nothing,” he remarked on VladTV. “The world is going to say it. I don’t know, I mean… He part of the movement. I mean, I don’t like to say too much about those people because I don’t want that to be in my motherf***ing… When people think of me, they think of that. A lot of people do, but… I just, you know, he do what he do. He feel like that’s how he support his… It make me shake my head. Because, you know, I don’t like that, bro. When… I don’t know. Rick Ross Gets Sued Over Lack Of Wheelchair Accessibility At Car Show

It’s been an undoubtedly busy few months for Rick Ross, and unfortunately for the performer, it looks like he now has some new legal issues to deal with. Ross hosted his annual Car & Bike Show back in June, and a man named Darris Straughter couldn’t have been more excited to attend. In fact, he says he went the extra mile to ensure he had a great experience, paying for travel, lodging, and a ticket well in advance.

Sadly, however, Straughter was ultimately unable to go, as a wheelchair-accessible shuttle bus allegedly never arrived to pick him up as promised. As a result, Straughter has filed a lawsuit against Ross for alleged breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act. He’s seeking damages, and requesting an order that will require the car show to accommodate those with disabilities in the future.

In the suit, Straughter claims that he reached out to the venue two weeks before the event to let them know that he needed accommodations for his wheelchair. Allegedly, they promised that a shuttle bus would pick him up from the parking lot to take him to the event. After hours of waiting, he gave up, and eventually decided just to return to his hotel.

The suit also states that event organizers promised a refund to anyone who didn’t get into the event. Straughter and his lawyer allege that nobody followed up with him in the end. Ross has yet to comment on the lawsuit. What do you think of Rick Ross getting hit with a new lawsuit because his car show was allegedly not wheelchair accessible? Rick Ross laughed off the backlash to his latest annual car wash, on Sunday night, as fans continued to call for refunds. Over the weekend, Ross painted a picture of the car show as going off without a hitch in various posts on Instagram, but the comments sections have told a different story. Fans have flooded the replies with demands for their money back, calling the event disorganized and claiming they couldn’t get inside. Ross appeared to downplay these complaints in a post on his Instagram Story, sharing an article TMZ published covering the situation.

“We made history!! 300 acres but everyone couldn’t make it ha,” he wrote alongside the report. “See everyone next year.” In the aforementioned comments, fans weren’t so flippant. “Y’all need to refund me my money for running out of wristbands and shutting down the shuttles after waiting in line for 3+ hours… idk what kind of operation yall were running here but about 800 ppl got scammed just at orange parking lot,” one fan wrote. Another user added: “He had kids running the shuttles at the orange location, there were almost 800 people that did not get in and lost their money. While the $100,000 is absurdly high, Ross has boasted in past years that the winnings are just as exorbitant. In 2023, he claimed to have spent $300,000 in jewelry prizes for the winners. “This the first time we revealing what it looks like to be a winner at the Rick Ross car show,” the rapper said at the time. “This heavyweight. This over $300,000 in giveaways. The bottom row, that’s for the heavyweights — best car, best bike. The top row — Hustler of the Year and Best Hot Rod.” Check out his explanation of this year’s VIP offer below.

Fat Joe Praises Rick Ross For Car Show Success

Fat Joe has become the recent artist to pour out support for Rick Ross following his successful car show. The show was attended by a number of high-profile rappers including Tyler, The Creator, Diddy, and 2 Chainz. Just a few days ago Ross announced the winners of some prized chains that were given away during the event. Fat Joe had some praise for the event and Rick Ross himself afterward. In a video posted to Instagram, he shouted out the hustle Ross showed in turning his own home into a multi-million dollar event.

“He created something out of nothing that’s in his own house” Joe says in a video on his Instagram. “He makes millions of dollars once a year” he adds. To be clear, those numbers are an estimation on Joe’s part. It follows an estimation that “millions” of people showed up to the event, which is likely an exaggeration. “All I’m really looking at is the money” Fat Joe’s video concludes. It’s unclear exactly how much Ross ultimately made but given how much discussion has surrounded the event.

Fat Joe’s High Praise For Rick Ross

One of the most talked about moments from the show came when an uninvited guest parachuted into it. His response to the fan’s bold move went viral as fans were shocked at how positive he was. He was also praised by local authorities for how the event was handled. Fat Joe isn’t even the only celebrity recently to go out of his way to praise Ross publicly. Just a few days ago in an Instagram video, Diddy shouted out Rick Ross for many of the same reasons. While it’s not clear if this cosign also resulted from the car show or not, Diddy was in attendance.

Fat Joe has also had quite a bit to say on social media recently. Last week he called out fans online who didn’t believe his story about putting Biggie and Bone-Thugs in the studio together. In the video, he claims to have receipts and points to some people who could potentially back him up. A few days later he also claimed that he still listens to Biggie’s music every day. What do you think of Fat Joe’s comments regarding Rick Ross? Let us know in the comment section below.

Rick Ross Announces The Winners Of His Car Show

Rick Ross has announced the winners of his car show. Each of them was rewarded with custom-made chains inspired by automobiles. The chains, designed to resemble Rolls-Royce cars, were showcased on Instagram earlier this week. In a post on Tuesday, Rick Ross celebrated the winners of the car show. He mentioned that he had spent approximately $300,000 on jewelry prizes for the event. One of the standout chains, known as “The Biggest” Rolls-Royce chain, was awarded to Instagram user @713AB, who was recognized as the “Hustler of the Year.” Ross congratulated @713AB and hailed them as Houston’s finest.

During the announcement, Rick Ross compared the car show to the Olympics and showcased the prize chains. He stated again that they were worth over $300,000 in total. He explained that the bottom row of chains represented the heavyweights, recognizing the best car and best bike. However, the top row honored the “Hustler of the Year” and “Best Hot Rod.” The car show organized by Rick Ross was attended by various influential figures in the industry. These included Diddy, Tyler The Creator, 2 Chainz, and Gunplay. The event was well-received by the local car enthusiasts, even if there was some drama about the mess after the fact.

Rick Ross Doesn’t Mind If You Parachute In, Just Don’t Climb The Gate

Yesterday, it was revealed that one superfan had parachuted into Rick Ross’ yard to see the show. In a surprising turn of events, Ross expressed admiration for the daring fan. He also voiced his hope that the individual wouldn’t face legal consequences. However, he jokingly mentioned his disappointment in not being informed beforehand about the timing of the jump. Ross humorously stated, “The only thing I didn’t like about it is he didn’t tell me what time to expect him jumping out of the goddamn plane and landing in my backyard.” He recounted rushing to the scene where the fan was being apprehended. However, he appeared pleased and requested not to press charges.

While Ross appreciated the fan’s audacious act, he did issue a warning that if someone were to jump the gate, he would handle the situation differently. However, if they were to parachute, he simply requested prior notice. Alongside the incident involving the parachuting fan, there were complaints about the aftermath of the show. Reports indicated that a nearby plaza was allegedly left in disarray by attendees who were unable to access the car show but decided to party there instead. Ross’s attorney denied any connection between the rapper and the littering, but local residents are urging him to take responsibility. What do you think of the winners of the car show? Let us know below!

Rick Ross Upsets South Fulton Residents Due To Trashed Plaza Following Car Show

Though his beef with DJ Envy caused a firestorm in the media leading up to his annual car and bike show, Rick Ross’ event went over relatively smoothly. While he handed out diamond chains and other luxurious prizes to winners, the multi-talent was awarded panties from patrons, which he proudly wore on his head while cruising around The Promise Land. He also gave a great performance, tapping both Gucci Mane and Meek Mill to join him on stage, much to attendees’ pleasure.

Local police have since thanked Ross for cooperating with them in making the show a success. As you may recall, he was nearly denied a permit from Fayetteville County due to parking concerns, among other things. Ultimately, though, the Biggest Boss was able to work his charm and forge an agreement with the appropriate committees. Unfortunately, he still wasn’t able to please everyone. Especially not residents of South Fulton who were impacted by a plaza in the area being trashed.

As per Hollywood Unlocked, Ross is being blamed for the mess left behind. It’s worth noting that the area is nearly three miles away from his estate. It’s believed that those who were unable to get into the rapper’s event used the plaza as a place to party. However, his attorneys have since denied any involvement from Rozay. Beer and soda bottles left behind dangerous broken glass. Cups and other forms of litter remain in the Kroger grocery store parking lot as well.

At this time, residents are calling for the former correctional officer to step up and clean after his guests – whether they made it inside the gates or not. Do you think Rick Ross should be held responsible for the South Fulton plaza’s destruction? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Tyler and Ross also shared a video to social media promoting the event, in which Ross reflects on the first time he saw Tyler’s collection. At other points during the event, Meek Mill and Gucci Mane performed for the crowd of thousands.

As for the entirety of Ross’ car show, Fayette County authorities have said that it went over smoothly. Sheriff Barry Babb explained to WSB-TV: “Everything has run very well considering the amount of people and the small traffic ways we have here, and it’s because he hired a good team.” He also noted that last year’s set up was significantly worse. “This year, they started putting a lot of plans in place, listened to us, we listened to them.” Those plans included attendees being shuttled in from nearby shopping centers and halting traffic to allow local residents to move more freely.

Despite the event going off without a hitch, some local residents were still unhappy with Ross. “I don’t care if it went smoothly,” neighbor John E. Jones told WSB-TV. “This community is no place for a commercial event of this size and magnitude.” He added that he and other locals will once again try to stop the event from being put on next year.
