Rob Gronkowski Reveals Which Team He Almost Signed With

Rob Gronkowski is easily one of the best tight ends to ever play in the NFL. He broke numerous records during his time in the league. Additionally, he won four Super Bowls with the likes of Tom Brady. Overall, he could very well go down at the GOAT at his position.

Recently, Gronk has been teasing fans with a return to the field. He is constantly talking about what it would take to get him to come back. Furthermore, he has been talking about the likes of Josh Allen and how he would be down to play with him someday.

Rob Gronkowski Makes A Revelation

As it turns out, he wasn’t so far off from playing with Allen. While speaking to Travis and Jason Kelce, Gronk revealed that the Bills called him up last summer. In fact, he was thinking of making it happen. However, he ultimately decided against it as he wanted a bit more money. Not to mention, he didn’t have that drive to play football.

“I was like, ‘Ahh. Tom [Brady] retired, I’ma check out some other teams,” Gronkowski explained. “I was actually in talks with the Buffalo Bills a little bit. They wanted me to come up there.”

If Gronk does want to make a comeback, there are plenty of teams out there who will take him. However, it does seem like his best option is the Bills. They have the quarterback and they have the ability to get him that fifth Super Bowl. Although, the team just needs to back up the Brinks truck.

Let us know where you think Gronk should go, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world. We’re sure Gronk will continue to give us plenty to talk about.

Damar Hamlin Was All Smiles On FaceTime With Meek Mill, A Beautiful Sight After He Suffered Cardiac Arrest

Before football fans everywhere learned of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, he had founded a brand and non-profit organization — both named Chasing Millions. One of his clothing designs boasted the phrase, “Love Me B4 They All Do.” The 24-year-old Pittsburgh native never could have imagined that he’d become a household name by suffering cardiac arrest on the field during the first quarter of last week’s Monday Night Football matchup between the Bills and Cincinnati Bengals, and Hamlin probably prefers it didn’t happen this way, but he also doesn’t intend to waste his newfound platform.

Since last week, Hamlin’s annual Chasing M’s toy drive has received over $8.5 million in donations as he slowly recovers in the ICU at the UC Medical Center in Cincinnati. By Thursday, January 5, Hamlin had awoken and “demonstrated that he appears to be neurologically intact.” The doctors caring for him held a press conference later in the day and additionally relayed that Hamlin had been able to communicate via written word, and the first thing he did was ask, “Did we win?

Hamlin’s lungs were healed enough to have his breathing tube removed on Friday, January 6, allowing him to FaceTime his Bills teammates and tell them he loved them. The following day, Hamlin soaked up love from Meek Mill and Michael Rubin — like Hamlin, they’re known for their philanthropic efforts — on Saturday, January 7. Rubin tweeted that the call “made my year.”

The NFLPA separately shared an Instagram Reel recapping all of the league-wide tributes, appropriately soundtracked by Meek Mill’s “Hot” featuring Moneybagg Yo and reposted by Meek to his Instagram Story.

Saturday also saw Hamlin post his first public messages since the near-fatal event, which continued into Sunday, January 8, when the Bills defeated the New England Patriots in their regular-season finale. Hamlin watched the game from his hospital bed. He announced newly designed “Did We Win?” tees, with the proceeds going toward first responders and the UC Trauma Center.

Skip Bayless Continues To Try And Correct His Damar Hamlin Mistake

Skip Bayless has oftentimes found himself to be the center of attention. Most of the time, this is for all of the wrong reasons. Overall, Bayless seems to love having the spotlight. However, that was certainly not the case as Bayless trended online for his comments about Damar Hamlin.

Following Hamlin’s frightening and devastating injury, Bayless tweeted: “No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how?. This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

Of course, many found this to be heinous considering what we had just witnessed on the field. Immediately after his statement, Bayless was hit with harsh criticism by many in the sports world. After years of being a troll, people finally took out their frustrations in a timely yet effective manner.

Skip Bayless Corrects Course

Since that time, Bayless has been trying to clarify what he meant. For instance, with the Bills playing the Patriots this weekend, Bayless made sure to note how insignificant this game is. Overall, he also had smoke for the Bengals, who he felt were being disrespectful about losing a game. Needless to say, Skip doesn’t want to be the bad guy.

“Happy for the Bills. Rooting for them. But hard to get too excited about the outcome of a football game,” Skip wrote. “As I said again and again on Monday night, all that matters is Damar Hamlin. Prayed for him immediately on Monday night then for his complete recovery this Sunday morning.”

Just last week, Bayless and his co-host Shannon Sharpe got into it on the air about the tweet. Sharpe said he wanted Bayless to take the tweet down, however, Bayless did not want to hear it. This subsequently led to another awkward exchange between the two.

With people running out of patience for Skip Bayless, it remains to be seen how all of this will end. At the end of the day, this is big ratings for FS1, who have been the biggest beneficiaries of the bad press.

Damar Hamlin In Good Spirits On FaceTime With Meek Mill & Michael Rubin

Six days ago, the world was sent into shock when Buffalo Bills Safety, Damar Hamlin went into cardiac arrest on the field. This is undeniably one of the worst sports injuries we’ve ever seen.

Ever since, we’ve been receiving updates on his status as they become available. In the most positive one yet, social media users began to spread photos of Hamlin smiling across social media on Saturday (January 7).

In the screenshot of the FaceTime call, Hamlin appears to be in good spirits while speaking to Meek Mill and Michael Rubin. “The volume of prayer on social media was at an all-time high this week. @danorlovsky7 even prayed on live TV. We are seeing those prayers get answered right before our eyes. Keep them coming! God is so good,” writes journalist Nick Veronica in a tweet.

The world was witness to the 24-year-old collapsing on the field during last week’s Monday Night Football game. He reportedly went into cardiac arrest due to the immense impact of a tackle he was making. After taking him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, they were initially listing him in critical condition.

Of course, the injury occurred during the first quarter of the highly-anticipated match between Hamlin’s Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals. The NFL says that the teams will not be playing that game at all now.

The medical staff at the hospital are responsible for removing his breathing tubes on Friday (January 6), as he continued to make phenomenal progress in his recovery. “Per the physicians at UCMC, Damar’s breathing tube was removed overnight. He continues to progress remarkably in his recovery. His neurologic function remains intact and he has been able to talk to his family and care team,” writes the team in a tweet.

Also on Saturday (January 7), the Bills’ Safety took to his Instagram account to speak publicly. This was the first time he was doing so since the injury. “When you put real love out into the world it comes back to you 3x’s as much. The Love has been overwhelming, but I’m thankful for every single person that prayed for me and reached out. We bring the world back together behind this. If you know me you know this only gone make me stronger. On a long road keep praying for me,” he writes in the post’s caption.

It’s certainly great to hear that Hamlin is well on his way to recovery following the horrifying incident. We hope he will be out of the hospital soon. Finally, make sure to stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates.

Monday’s game was postponed shortly after the Pennsylvania native’s medical emergency during the first quarter. Sports commentator Skip Bayless faced backlash after some accused him of an insensitive tweet in the wake of Hamlin’s frightening collapse.

“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how?” he wrote on Twitter Monday night. “This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

After catching heat online, he went on to address the situation on “Undisputed,” with co-host Shannon Sharpe urging him to delete the now-viral tweet. Refusing, Bayless firmly shot back on the Fox Sports show, “I stand by what I tweeted.”

A number of athletes responded to the 71-year-old on social media, including NBA star Isaiah Thomas. “I hope they fire you bro!!! For you to even THINK of the game is very sad,” he tweeted at Bayless earlier this week.

Darrell Revis also wrote back in response. “All u care about is football when Damar Hamlin’s life is at risk. coming from u i expected more. this tweet is not. u of all people should know better bro,” the famed NFL cornerback tweeted.

As of now, Bayless has stayed true to his word in not deleting the controversial tweet.
