SZA is sneaking in an album before the end of the year. Speaking with British Vogue, she previewed the Lana album.

“I think I am making music from a more beautiful place,” SZA said. “From a more possible place versus a more angsty place. I’m not identifying with my brokenness. It’s not my identity. It’s s**t that happened to me. Yeah, I experienced cruelty. I have to put it down at some point. Piece by piece, my music is shifting because of that, the lighter I get.”

So that’s what Punch meant by this:

SZA Gets Brutally Honest About Regretting Her BBL

During a recent interview with British Vogue, SZA got brutally honest about her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), and why she ultimately regrets getting it. According to her, she doesn’t think the procedure was necessary and wishes she had prioritized other things like her mental health. Despite this, SZA points out how she loves her body, butt included.

“I’m so mad I did that sh*t,” she told the outlet. “I gained all this weight from being immobile while recovering and trying to preserve the fat. It was just so st*pid. But who gives a f*ck? You got a BBL, you realize you didn’t need the sh*t. It doesn’t matter. I’ll do a whole bunch more sh*t just like it if I want to before I’m f*cking dead because this body is temporary. It just wasn’t super necessary – I have other sh*t that I need to work on about myself… I need to get my f*cking mental health together… Not to say you can’t do those things simultaneously, just, for me, I realize wherever you go, there you’ll be.”

SZA Opens Up About Cosmetic Surgery

“But I love my butt,” SZA concluded. “Don’t get me wrong. My booty look nice. And I’m grateful that it looks pretty much… I don’t know, sometimes natural, but I don’t even care. It’s something that I wanted. I’m enjoying it. I love shaking it.” This isn’t the only time SZA opened up about cosmetic surgery, however. During an appearance on the S.H.E. MD podcast earlier this year, she also detailed her painful experience with breast implants and revealed why she had hers removed.

“So basically, I put them in. They ended up hurting me,” she explained at the time. “I got way too much scar tissue because my breasts are too dense and I’m not supposed to have breast implants. And so I ended up getting extra fibrosis like with tissue, whatever, and I didn’t feel good and it was painful. So, I took them out, and now, they’re just my boobs.”

Childhood Fame: Zendaya Talks Downside Of Disney Stardom At 13, Being An “Angsty Teen” In Adulthood

At just 27 years old, Zendaya is already one of the most stylish women in entertainment. This is largely thanks to the work of her stylist, Law Roach, who knows exactly how to accentuate the actresses’ best features. Her latest roles include the Spider-Man franchise opposite her beau, Tom Holland, as well as Dune and its sequel with Timothée Chalamet. Before all of that, Zendaya was only 13 when her career initially began on Disney Channel, which she spoke about candidly in a new British Vogue interview.

“It’s funny, because it’s something that I’m figuring out now. I don’t know how much of a choice I had. I have complicated feelings about kids and fame and being in the public eye, or being a child actor,” Z shared when asked what teenage her thought about the possibility of her career not flourishing in adulthood. “We’ve seen a lot of cases of it being detrimental,” she continued, seemingly referencing the likes of Amanda Bynes, Orlando Brown and countless others who got their start on Nickelodeon or Disney.

Zendaya went on, “I’m almost going through my angsty teenager phase now because I didn’t really have the time to do it before. I felt like I was thrust into a very adult position: I was becoming the breadwinner of my family very early, and there was a lot of role-reversal happening, and just kind of becoming grown, really.”

Many of our favourite former child stars are speaking out amid the situation with Nickelodeon, leaving us to wonder who else has yet to tell their harrowing stories of abuse. Thankfully Zendaya’s negative feelings mostly came from within her own family dynamic, but the same isn’t true for victims like Drake Bell. Review the allegations brought forth against Dan Schneider and his colleagues at the link below, and check back later for more music/pop culture news updates.

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Balance Work & Parenthood At Photoshoot: WATCH

She’s a pregnant mom on the go these days, but nothing is slowing down Rihanna. The singer has been in a flurry as this season is back-to-back performances. After preparing for her epic Super Bowl halftime show, Rihanna is now gearing up to take to the Academy Awards stage. She’s reportedly set to perform “Lift Me Up” from the latest Black Panther soundtrack, but ahead of the next show, behind-the-scenes footage of Ri, A$AP Rocky, and their baby boy was shared.

Recently, the superstar singer posed on the cover of British Vogue with her little one. At the time, Rihanna says she was unaware she was pregnant with her second child. That news became the big reveal at the halftime show, and now, fans are getting a closer look at how Ri and Rocky are as famous parents on the go. British Vogue shared a brief video showing the mom and dad during Ri’s photoshoot for the magazine.

Rihanna Explains “Legendary” Motherhood

Rihanna detailed what it’s been like as a first-time mom. “Oh, my God, it’s legendary,” she told the outlet. “It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever. You literally try to remember it – and there are photos of my life before – but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because it doesn’t matter.”

Fans have speculated about Rihanna as a mother and what her home life must be like. There have been guesses about a house full of nannies or help at every corner. While we’re sure Ri has all the aid she needs, she explained to British Vogue what it was like following birth. She called the process beautiful but admitted that the concept messed with her head. “Essentially, from one person, I became two,” said the singer.

Family Of 3, Soon Family Of 4

Rihanna added, “You walk into the hospital as a couple and leave as a family of three. It’s nuts. And oh, my gosh, those first days are insane. You don’t sleep. At all. Not even if you wanted to. We came home, cold turkey, had no one. It was just us as parents and our baby. Man, you’re a zombie for the most part.” Check out the behind-the-scenes footage of A$AP Rocky, Rihanna, and their mini-me above.
