Culture critic and online agitator Charleston White has claimed that Boosie Badazz threatened his life and has reportedly made this claim to federal authorities.

White made the allegation on IG, posting a video saying, “So Lil Boosie making threats? I’ve already contacted law enforcement concerning these possible threats against my life.” While White offered no proof of the interaction, he also posted screenshots of text messages where he claimed he had witnesses to Boosie allegedly threatening his life.

“Boosie Imma put your motherfucking ass in jail n-gga,” White also said in a video. “You making threats to the promoter. I got a recorded phone conversation with witnesses on the phone saying the promoter is scared for his life and he gotta live in Baton Rouge, that Boosie gonna send them people to get you.”

He added, “I’m waiting for the FBI to send me the right kinda number n-gga cause I’m finna make a report on your motherfucking ass. The man called your name specifically. The promoter specifically said your motherfucking name Lil Boosie, he implemented you and implicated you. Bitch ass n-gga you finna go back to jail. Boosie Badazz Reunites With Webbie At Boosie Bash, Invites GloRilla To Perform “Yeah Glo!”

Boosie Badazz recently hosted his fifth annual Boosie Bash in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a three-day event of parties and a hip-hop music festival. Moreover, on Friday (March 15), he held a talent showcase, and today (Sunday, March 17), he will bring together a finale party at Red Stick Social. The big event, though, was the Trill Entertainment rapper’s festival on Saturday (March 16), and he brought out a lot of artists last night. There was Jeezy, 42 Dugg, Jacquees, the 41-year-old’s reunion with labelmate Webbie, and GloRilla, who came out to perform her new banger “Yeah Glo!

Furthermore, folks probably know that Webbie and Boosie have kept up a close relationship as of late, which is heartening considering their history together. They’ve been supporting each other since the Trill days in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and seeing this scene still alive and kicking is a nice sight. In addition, it’s also great to see rappers who are more active and relevant today give these MCs the flowers they deserve. Hopefully it’s a generational crossover that continues throughout 2024, and hopefully more industry peers craft experiences that open this door.

Boosie & Webbie Cross Paths Again

As for GloRilla, we know that Boosie is quite fond of her in unexpected, creative, and downright comical ways. For example, he named his dog after her last year, and we can’t deny that that’s an honor that very few rappers can claim. After all, who’s out here naming their dog Hov, or 6ix God, or Roman, or Kung Fu Kenny? We’re sure there are probably wilder examples of this out there, but in this case, it’s a curious but wholesome example of Southern solidarity.

GloRilla Performs “Yeah Glo!” At The Bash

Meanwhile, Badazz is still adept at dishing out his takes, hot or cold, on the latest hip-hop happenings in the wider pop culture space. Most recently, he called Ye out for claiming he invented all popular music from the last 20 years. If that was the case, then maybe this bash wouldn’t have been as successful as it was. Regardless, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Boosie Badazz, Webbie, and GloRilla.

J. Cole & Boosie Badazz Visit Same Houston Strip Club: Video

No matter what circumstances Boosie Badazz finds himself in, the Louisana native always knows how to keep us laughing. Thankfully, he’s been staying out of legal trouble in recent weeks, though the “Wipe Me Down” artist has been caught up in some internet drama with streamer Adin Ross. Elsewhere, Boosie’s been in the headlines for predicting that by the time he reaches age 80, he’ll still be able to maintain a relationship with a PYT no older than 30.

Today (March 12) a video of the multi-talent outside of a popular Houston strip club surfaced online. In the clip, Boosie chats with North Carolina-born lyricist J. Cole, who was decidedly more sober than this friend. “Aye, bruh! Aye, bruh, I’mma keep it 100,” the 41-year-old shouts over the Dreamville founder. “I’m like that for real,” Boosie said, though it’s unclear exactly what he was referring to. “I already… Who you telling?” Cole responded while towering over his tipsy pal.

After a moment of hesitation, Boosie repeats himself, “I’m like that for real,” before going in for a hug. Cole’s body language looked slightly unreceptive to the physical contact, but he obliged nonetheless. “Who you telling?” the latter asked again. “Why you telling me like I don’t know?” the father of two added with a laugh as Boosie grinned from ear to ear.

J. Cole isn’t known to be a huge social butterfly, but so far in 2024, he’s been spending plenty of time outside. Besides his latest link-up with Boosie Badazz at Area 29, the “Love Yourz” artist has been on tour across America with Drake. Earlier this week, a fan of both rappers went viral for creating a Step Brothers-inspired t-shirt to commemorate their joint venture. Boosie Badazz Vents His Frustrations With New Orleans Pelicans For Lowballing Him: “They Don’t F*** With Me”

Boosie Badazz has a bone to pick and this time it is not with another rapper. He has always been an outspoken figure in the genre for better or worse. But, in this case, he has a solid point to make here. The Louisiana MC is one of the main faces when you think of artists from the Southern state. However, the New Orleans Pelicans are not looking to cater to him, even with all of the things he has done. According to HipHopDX, Boosie has been having issues with the NBA franchise for quite some time. From what we know, it seems to stem from the “insulting” offers the organization have been dishing out.

The trap rap star went on a rant on his Instagram Live and essentially called out the franchise for being cheap. His two main gripes with the Pelicans have to do with only being paid $1,000 for a performance at the arena, as well as no courtside seats. “They don’t wanna give me no courtside tickets. That’s cold-blooded. The Pelicans, they don’t fuck with me. Not the players, just… every time I try to get courtside tickets, I can’t get courtside tickets.”

Boosie Badazz Says Thanks But No Thanks To The Pelicans

He laughed off the lowball and continued to say that the Atlanta Hawks offer way more. “[They] pay $10,000, $7,500 to perform to their artists, and courtside seats.” That is quite ludicrous, especially because he is not synonymous with Georgia nearly as much as Louisiana. Boosie even went on to reveal that they asked him to perform for an HBCU celebration with the same “cold-blooded” offer. “They wanted me to perform at the HBCU night. Them people said $1K and I’m from Louisiana. That’s crazy. I’m like, ‘That don’t come with courtside seats?’ They’re like, ‘No.’ I think I told ’em, ‘I appreciate it but I’m good. I feel like that’s an insult.’”

What are your thoughts on Boosie Badazz not being able to get courtside seats for the Pelicans game? Is $1,000 too low of a payout to perform? Why do you think the organization cannot be more accommodating? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Boosie Badazz and the NBA. C’mon Pelicans you got to do better!

Louisiana native Boosie Badazz said that he can’t even get courtside seats in his home state at a New Orleans Pelicans game even after the team offered him $1,000 to perform twice in one night. He responded that even in Atlanta, the Hawks pay artists at least $10K just to perform once.

Even though Boosie said we wasn’t feeling the vibes fron the Pelicans, he said he was still fgoing to rock a Saints hat to rep his home state.

Summer Walker is no stranger to sharing funny stories from her personal life online. That was the case when she revealed that her mother recently ran into Boosie Badazz. Clearly the pair hit it off as they talked for quite a while and afterward debated who was sticking around for whom. “It’s the fact that my mama just talked boosie head off for the last 5 hours lmao” Summer first joked on an Instagram story. The caption accompanied a picture that the two took while they were together.

Boosie Badazz Hip-Hop 50 Grammys Performance Has Him Feeling Grateful

A lot has changed for Boosie Badazz since his return home from prison in 2014. While the “Wipe Me Down” hitmaker is certainly happy to have his freedom reinstated, there’s been a longing in his heart to return to the stage. Of course, Boosie has given plenty of “regular” performances, but what he’s actually been craving is a slot during one of the music industry’s many annual award shows. As hip-hop celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, the embattled star was able to make his dreams come true thanks to the Grammys.

As AllHipHop reports, on Sunday (December 10), CBS aired their two-hour “A GRAMMY Salute To 50 Years Of Hip-Hop” celebration, which was previously filmed in November. Boosie was just one of many entertainers who graced the stage with his presence, and now that the world has finally seen his performance, he can’t stop gushing about it on social media. “THANKS TO THE GRAMMYS FOR FINALLY GIVING ME A CHANCE TO PERFORM AT AWARDS SHOW SINCE I BEEN HOME FROM PRISON!! #imgrateful,” he tweeted yesterday.

As for newcomers, names like Coi Leray, Gunna, Roddy Ricch, and Latto were all on deck to prove they can keep up with their predecessors. Boosie may not have won a trophy from the Grammys yet, but he’s still grateful to see rap getting the recognition it deserves from the public.

Despite the chaos following him for the past few months, Boosie Badazz seems to be in good spirits as 2023 comes to a close. Boosie Badazz Flames A Girl For Comparing Herself To Chloe Bailey: Watch

Boosie Badazz has never been afraid to speak his mind about anyone or anything. Throughout his long-lasting musical career, he has been interviewed countless times and involved with quite a few beefs. Every time, he is going to leave no stone unturned and get his point across one way or another. Just look back to his recent back-and-forth with singer and rapper, Rod Wave. Even with offering up money for using his music, supposedly without permission, Boosie was going to take him to court.

It goes beyond that situation even. Boosie is unapologetically himself and that authenticity continues to go a long way for him. Indeed, he is one of the most unintentionally funny people in the rap game. He was recently in a YouTube video titled, “20 WOMEN VS 1 RAPPER: BOOSIE BADAZZ.” It is an ongoing series that Ryanwitdasauce has on his page. 20 women present themselves to one man to see if they are compatible with the special guest.

A post shared by The Neighborhood Talk (@theneighborhoodtalk)

One of the girls in the video was making her pitch to Boosie. She seemed to be making headway with him stating that she loves being a true feminine woman. She loves to cook, clean, and all of the above. Then, she started to talk about how she likes to sing and that she has some similar qualities to Chloe Bailey. That is when Boosie had to interject and say, “You can’t f*** with [her].” He took a step further saying he saw a sex tape with her in it. “She was getting hit from the back I just saw that. F****d me up.” It made everyone on the set laugh so hard. But, again you have to respect the honesty at the end of the day.

What are your initial thoughts on Boosie Badazz going after the girl in the YouTube video for saying she is similar to Chloe Bailey? Do you think he was being a bit too harsh, or was there nothing wrong with his honest answer? Is Boosie the funniest rapper out of everyone in the industry?
