Boosie Badazz Gets Into Minor Car Accident, Lets Driver Slide

Although it can be hectic, the holiday season usually puts people in a festive mood and promotes generosity.

It certainly seems as though the Christmas spirit got to Boosie Badazz this year.

The “Wipe Me Down” rapper was reportedly involved in a minor car accident during the holidays. He subsequently took to his Instagram account on Monday (December 26) to share a message surrounding the incident.

“Mothaf*cka just hit me in the back, mane. He ain’t damage my sh*t, he just hit my sh*t. I let him ride, dawg. 9:00-5:00 worker. N***a said, Boosie, mane, I don’t know what to tell you, bruh, I can’t pay you,” the 40-year-old says in the video.

Obviously, the Baton Rouge native is expecting others to pay it forward in case he accidentally hits someone while out on the roads. “I want y’all to let me slide. When I bump somebody, let me slide too. Be a real one. Let me slide. I let ya’ll slide. This [is] a Rolls Royce truck,” he continues afterwards.

In other recent news surrounding Boosie, he revealed his interest in directing a movie about YSL’s ongoing RICO case. Young Thug remains behind bars, awaiting trial. However, other YSL members have since been released after taking plea deals. Gunna, YSL co-founder Walter Murphy and Thugger’s brother, Unfoonk, are among those who have accepted deals.

There is certainly enough going on surrounding the trial to document it within a film. It will be interesting to see if the 40-year-old actually pulls it off.

After all, the movie business is not entirely new territory for the “Wipe Me Down” rapper. He has acted in several movies throughout his career, including 2010’s Ghetto Stories: The Movie. Furthermore, he’s responsible for writing, directing and producing his own movie, Where’s MJ, which saw a release on Christmas Day. It’s supposed to be his take on the classic holiday movie, Home Alone.

The YSL RICO case is still underway with the trial set to begin next year. However, that is not going to stop Boosie from making a movie about it.

Boosie made the announcement while premiering his latest self-produced film Where’s MJ, at Clark Atlanta University last week. “I’ll document it. I’ll shoot the film,” he said. “Free all them boys. I don’t want nobody in there.”

During the premiere, Boosie also advocated for YFN Lucci’s release who is also in jail for RICO charges. Lucci also claimed that Young Thug tried to put a hit on him while he was locked up. He says that a YSL co-defendant, Antonio Sumlin, sought permission from Thugger to attempt a second hit on him in March.

The YSL trial is set to begin on January 5th of next year. Since the indictments began, 6 members of YSL have taken plea deals for their involvement in the record label and alleged gang including Gunna, Young Thug’s brother, Slimelife Shawty, Lil Duke, and YSL co-founder Walter Murphy. This has brought the number of defendants down from 28 to 22.

Following Gunna’s release from prison after accepting his plea deal, a video of Gunna admitting to a judge a series of questions involving YSL hit social media. Many were quick to call Gunna a snitch, and one person even found his car and threw cheese in front of it. It was later revealed that Gunna accepted an Alford plea, a plea in which a defendant does not admit guilt but admits that the evidence presented by the prosecution would persuade the judge or jury that they are guilty of the crimes they are being charged for.

Trae Young Comes To Boosie’s Defense

During his time with the Atlanta Hawks, Trae Young has seen some very famous people sitting courtside. Overall, Atlanta is a huge hub for hip-hop. As a result, you should be able to deduce that tons of rappers are typically sitting courtside at the games.

One of those artists is none other than Boosie Badazz. Over the years, he has been a staple of Hawks games, and the fans love to see him there. However, it appears as though Boosie’s fandom could be under attack as he recently took to social media with a distressing message.

Below, you can see Boosie explain a recent interaction he had with NBA security. Simply put, they told him that if he continued to talk trash at the players and coaches, he would be removed from the arena for good. Needless to say, the NBA came with a real threat.

Trae Young Responds

Young doesn’t appreciate this treatment of Boosie as he took to Twitter with a measured response. Basically, Trae Young believes Boosie isn’t saying anything that egregious. In fact, Young believes people have gotten away with way worse.

“Nahhh man we not gonna do this to Boosie now.. Bro be chillin most games with family,” Young said. “Heard 11x worse things being said to players & coaches then how he be talkin. Lol Thanks for the support! @BOOSIEOFFICIAL

Young is the defacto captain of the Atlanta Hawks, which makes him the perfect person to speak out on this topic. He has experience with the fans, and if he says Boosie isn’t doing anything crazy, then the league should take his word for it.

Boosie Badazz Wants To Direct A YSL RICO Case Movie

YSL’s ongoing RICO case took the world by storm this year, with Gunna free but Young Thug still behind bars. Moreover, there have been so many twists and turns that it gets difficult to keep up with what happened and what’s speculated. Still, some within the rap game want to take that chance. Boosie Badazz expressed interest in directing a movie about Young Thug, YSL, and their legal battle.

Still, it’s unclear whether this hypothetical movie would be fiction, although it can be assumed to refer more to a documentary. While Boosie is often the subject of much media controversy, he’s found success on big and small screens through his team at Boosie BadAzz Productions. He wrote, directed, and produced Where’s MJ, which hit this Christmas. To elaborate, it’s a Black take on Home Alone starring Desi Banks, Grove Hero, his son Tootie Raww, Boosie himself, and many others. Moreover, special guests Flavor Flav and the late Atlanta rapper Trouble also make appearances.

While attending the film’s premiere at Clark Atlanta University, the rapper elaborated on his next move. After Where’s MJ, he told AllHipHop that he wanted to document what’s happening between YSL and the City of Atlanta.

“I’ll document it. I’ll shoot the film,” he said. “Free all them boys. I don’t want nobody in there.”

Also, the 40-year-old advocated for YFN Lucci’s release, who is also in jail due to RICO charges including murder. In fact, Lucci alleged that some of Thugger’s YSL crew tried to kill him while jailed in Fulton County.

Before the evening closed out, the Baton Rouge artist thanked everyone for their support and attendance. However, with the holiday season in mind, he gave a $15,000 check to Clark Atlanta University to thank them for their support of his film endeavors.

What do you think of Boosie Badazz’s plans to document the YSL story and put it on the big screen? Have you seen Where’s MJ yet and what did you think? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest in hip-hop-movie crossovers and more rap on the big screen.

Boosie Badazz x DeMar DeRozan

That is exactly what took place on Wednesday night as Boosie was sitting courtside at a Hawks game. The Chicago Bulls were in town, and in the end, the Bulls came away with the victory. Overall, it wasn’t the result Boosie probably wanted, however, he did get a huge gift out of it.

In the Instagram post down below, you can see Boosie standing next to DeMar DeRozan of the Bulls. The two had big smiles on their faces, with DeMar gifting the artist a signed jersey. Boosie was extremely happy about his gift, and it led to him dancing throughout the hallways of the State Farm Arena.

DeRozan has been having a solid campaign with the Chicago Bulls, and last night was another example of that. While the Hawks certainly suffered, Boosie came out on top, and for the artist, that is all that really matters.

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Sergio “Gunna” Kitchens would be released from jail after taking an Alford plea to one count of racketeering, which left him with one year time served and the four remaining years being handed as a suspended sentence.

Boosie took to Twitter to condemn Gunna, and says that he’s a “rat”.

Gunna released a statement regarding taking the Alford plea, saying, “I have chosen to end my own RICO case with an Alford plea and end my personal ordeal by publicly acknowledging my association with YSL.” Gunna added, “An Alford plea in my case is the entry of a guilty plea to the one charge against me, which is in my best interest, while at the same time maintaining my innocence toward the same charge.”

Young Thug remains in jail without bond pending the YSL RICO trial, which is scheduled to get underway in January 2023.

Boosie is in the news almost every week because of his sometimes comments. The 40-year-old rapper recently took aim at Kanye for the rapper and fashion designer’s comments on Rosa Parks.

“NOW ROSA PARKS!! HE REALLY HATE BLACK PEOPLE WITH A PASSION,” Boosie tweeted. “#Fuckukanye U SICK AF!!,” he added.

In another tweet, Boosie continued his Ye slander. “IT’S A SHAME THIS MAN IS REALLY TRYIN’ TO TAKE AWAY ALL BLACK GLORY WHOS NEXT MARTIN LUTHER KING!! BLACKS SHOULD DO THIS MAN LIKE THE JEWS DID HIM!! NOW HES COMING FOR BLACK HISTORY,” he tweeted.

Ye recently made some more inflammatory remarks in audio that was posted online where he called Rosa Parks a “plant.”

“Since 1948, all of these movements… I know [the] woke finna be mad at me, but all of these heroes man, there’s only one. That’s Jesus Christ,” he said. “MLK, JFK, Malcom, Rosa Parks… We know Rosa Parks was a plant. We know all of these things, right? And they use these media outlets to outrage.” Later he labeled the media as “trauma economy.”

Boosie Reacts To Ye’s Rosa Parks Comments: “Tryin’ To Take Away All Black Glory”

Boosie Badazz has never been afraid to speak his mind. As someone who’s certainly no stranger to controversy, the rap veteran is back to sharing his candid thoughts.

This time, the Baton Rouge native is speaking out against Ye and his most recent comments, which were made about Rosa Parks. He’s obviously not happy about the remarks.

The “Wipe Me Down” rapper was previously active on Twitter yesterday (December 12). In his posts, Boosie chiefly calls for the Black community to come together in cancelling him the same way the Jewish community has.

“IT’S A SHAME THIS MAN IS REALLY TRYIN’ TO TAKE AWAY ALL BLACK GLORY,” he angrily tweeted.

“BLACKS SHOULD DO THIS MAN LIKE THE JEWS DID HIM!! NOW HES COMING FOR BLACK HISTORY,” the 40-year-old continued later in his rant.

In recent audio of Ye, the disgraced rapper can be heard detailing his conspiracy theories on how much the media controls. “Since 1948, all of these movements… I know [the] woke finna be mad at me, but all of these heroes man, there’s only one. That’s Jesus Christ,” he says.

“MLK, JFK, Malcom, Rosa Parks… We know Rosa Parks was a plant. We know all of these things, right? And they use these media outlets to outrage,” the father of four continued.

The artist formerly known as Kanye West subsequently went on to label the media as the “trauma economy.”

“Although people die every week,” the Chicago native believes they pick and choose which deaths to promote in an attempt to create trauma in Black communities.

These comments from Ye are only the most recent problematic statements he’s made. During a media tirade in which he announced his 2024 Presidential bid, the Yeezy founder caused serious harm stemming from his anti-semitic comments. At the time, he explicitly praised Hitler.

Evidently, he’s still spewing out hurtful statements despite the backlash and consequences.

Boosie Calls R. Kelly “The Best Ever To Do It” Following The Convicted Singer’s Surprise Album

Boosie Badazz Says NBA Youngboy Shouldn't Have Collaborated with Lil Nas X: "We Represent a Certain Group"

Boosie is known for his controversial takes on many subjects, most notably his remarks about Dwyane Wade’s daughter Zaya Wade. However, his recent co-sign of R. Kelly’s surprise album I Admit It might take the cake.

Over the weekend, a surprise album from R. Kelly was released on DSP’s. While many slammed Kelly for releasing the album, Boosie showed love to Kelly, and posted a video of himself vibing to the album.

“R.Kelly TALKING DAT SHIll. THE BEST TO EVER DO IT. YOU BETTER GO LISTEN TO THE ALBUM. NUMBER 1 FAN -BOOSIE BADAZZ,” Boosie captioned a video of himself listening to the allbum.

In another video, Boosie called the convicted R&B singer “THE GREATEST” and said that he’s innocent. “THIS MF R.KELLY IS THE GREATEST. IM LIT TODAY‼ #FreeRKellyAsap.”

However, this is not the first time that Boosie has advocated for R. Kelly, or the singer’s release. In a previous interview on VladTV, Boosie argued that Kelly is innovent.

“This is how I feel about that. Everything was pushed to another level. You know, I just feel like R. Kelly like the young bitches,” Boosie said.

He continued: “All that shit, seducing and kidnapping and all this shit in somebody house, if you leave a bitch at the house and you go on tour for two weeks and she don’t go nowhere, that bitch ain’t been kidnapped. She waiting on daddy to come home.”

“He just fucked up on the age part…if he did it. I’m not saying he’s guilty or if he did do it, it’s because of the age. The rest of that shit, they exaggerating, bro.”

Kelly’s lawyer, Jennifer Bonjean, recently stated that her client had nothing to do with the album’s release, saying that “music of Mr. Kelly’s that is in the hands of people who should not have it.”
