The track absolutely took over social media without even coming out yet, and ahead of its Friday (September 8) release date, many wonder how it’ll shape up. Are we getting another “WAP”-style hit from the femcees or something else entirely? After all, it’s been a while since Megan dropped new material, and it seems like she’s really looking forward to it. Considering the chemistry that Megan The Stallion and her fellow Houston superstar shared on “S*vage,” there’s reason to believe a Cardi Bey collab would also be impressive. Megan Thee Stallion recently received new platinum certifications for tracks like “Sweetest Pie” with Dua Lipa and “Cash S**t.” Also, Traumanize was certified gold by the RIAA over a year since its official release in August of 2022. While it’s definitely reason to celebrate, many felt that their label, 1501 Entertainment, shouldn’t be celebrating this as they did, as they took to Instagram to congratulate Meg.

For those unaware, the “NDA” artist is not in a good place with her label at the moment, stemming from contract issues and other allegations. As such, many fans rushed to her defense in the label’s comments section, saying that they didn’t do anything to contribute to these songs. Regardless, it seems like “BONGOS” might be another step in Megan’s career that will further distance her from negativity and further toward a resurgence. Many fans are interested in this new song, as they believe it could lead to yet another huge moment. With a music video also on the way for the song, there is likely going to be some memes, adoration, and quite a bit of criticism on the way. However, Cardi is telling people to temper their expectations. She says the song name and cover have very little to do with the content of the track. Although it remains to be seen how true that is. As for marketing the song, Cardi B has a genius idea.

Subsequently, she rubbed some of the CDs on her breasts, legs, butt, and other areas. Of course, these are not actually going to be scratch-and-sniff copies. That said, this is a pretty funny concept, and you have to give Cardi some credit for coming up with it.

Three Years After ‘WAP’ Shocked The World, Cardi B And Megan Thee Stallion Are Staging A Voluptuous Reunion With A New Single

After a lengthy five-year period since her debut album, Invasion Of Privacy, Cardi B is ready to share another project. Fans might have enjoyed her string of guest verses on tracks such as her “Jealousy” with her husband Offset, FendiDa Rappa’s “Point Me 2,” and Latto’s “Put It On Da Floor Again,” but Cardi is ready to drop a record of her own.

Yesterday (September 3), Cardi hinted that she had a major announcement on the horizon. Today (September 4), the cat’s out of the bag. In a post uploaded to Cardi’s official Instagram page, she revealed her next single as the lead artist. The track titled “Bongos” will be shared onto steaming services on Friday (September 8).

As if the track itself wasn’t enough, it will feature “WAP” collaborator Megan Thee Stallion, who herself hasn’t shared her own music since last year’s album Traumazine.

Although in August, Cardi told magazine Vogue Mexico, “I’m not going to release any more collaborations, I’m going to publish my next solo single,” based on what she and Megan were able to cook up on “WAP” supporters will surely overlook that statement.
