Mariah Carey is allegedly taking pleasure in the recent drama in Jennifer Lopez’s life after the singer had to cancel her tour and has been dealing with issues in her marriage to Ben Affleck. According to a source for In Touch, Lopez’s struggles have been icing on the cake after Carey landed a residency at Dolby Live inside the Park MGM Hotel.

“Mariah is really excited to be getting back to Vegas and looking forward to proving she’s still at the top of the game when it comes to putting on a show and bringing in ticket sales,” the source told the news outlet. “She’s extra excited to show that she’s still got it after J. Lo had to go and cancel her concert tour.” They added that Carey has been monitoring the drama “very closely and took a lot of pleasure in seeing her fall on her face. She believes it’s karma biting her in the butt because she’s not as talented as she thinks and way too arrogant.”

The latest news comes after Page Six recently reported that Lopez is furious about the rumors regarding her and her husband. “She’s furious,” the insider told the outlet. “He has humiliated her. He was the one who initiated getting back together. He’s humiliated her because she made a big deal that he’s the love of her life. They just had two weddings two years ago. This is some kind of a record—they’re not young kids.”

Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj’s beef is well-documented at this point, and while things died down a while ago, it’s still hard to ignore. Moreover, the former recently participated on Family Feud, and a particular fill-in-the-blank question led to a pretty interesting reaction. The prompt was “[Blank] Friday,” which led many eagle-eyed fans to spot the Bronx femcee’s small laugh when she heard the prompt. A lot of fans figured that she thought of Minaj’s album Pink Friday first, but she instead gave “Black Friday” as an answer. While we’ll probably never know whether or not Steve Harvey chose to be cheeky with this, fans ran with that narrative regardless.

Furthermore, the last “update” we got concerning Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj were some odd claims from Hazel-E. She claimed that Remy, the Migos, Suge Knight, and many others actually received payment to sabotage Nicki’s career. Of course, rumors like these are pretty frequent and common when it comes to the discussion around these two female rappers and many others. Even though we’ll probably never see evidence of this, some fanbases will still use it as a talking point either way.

Remy Ma Dodges A Nicki Minaj Reference On Family Feud

However, despite Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj’s long and contentious history, some fans still think that they can bury the hatchet. In fact, the latter seemed to hint at a reconciliation while promoting Pink Friday 2, but that never manifested for that album’s rollout. Still, with so much beef going around in 2024, it seems as good a time as ever to either re-engage or reconsider. After all, this combative year could also result in more amicable moments of coming together rather than continued battle.

Meanwhile, Remy Ma doesn’t really want to talk about any of this beef, for the most part. For example, she avoided a question about Nicki Minaj and Latto beefing at the 2023 Grammys. Maybe Remy would rather speak on her own experiences with femcees rather than other ones. Recently VladTV shared a clip of DJ Vlad’s interview with Aries Spears, in which they discussed Marlon Wayans’ interview fee. The actor reportedly asked for $40K, as well as 30 percent of all future revenue. Vlad thought this number was steep, but Wayans was standing by it. This has prompted a heated back and forth between them on Twitter, which only got uglier today.

“Marlon Wayans found someone with 200 followers to agree with him. LOL,” Vlad tweeted to start. “Nobody on earth is going to pay Marlon $40K for an interview when he gets 100k-300k views on any platform he interviews on. This guy is really delusional.”

I never in my life dealt with this silly negotiating tactic.” The back and forth continued, and Wayans commented on Vlad’s appearance, prompting an interesting response. “Marlon Wayans, I’m sorry that you don’t find me attractive. Fortunately for both of us, I’m heterosexual,” he wrote, also urging him to “come out of the closet” and participate in gay porn.

Wayans replied, telling Vlad to leave him alone and sharing a link to a YouTube video called “Why Black Celebrities Will Never RESPECT Vlad TV.” He also Tweeted that Vlad is “waaaaaay too HATED by the URBAN COMMUNITY to F* with” him, and claimed that he’s “loved” while Vlad isn’t. DJ Akademiks just offered his latest theory on the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef, and looked to the 6ix God’s past for a way out of his loss to K.Dot. “I was thinking about, coming off of that whole battle with the Pusha T thing,” Ak’s advice began. “You know why the Pusha T thing didn’t sting as much? Bro, [Drake] immediately had… He had ‘God’s Plan’ already. The n***a had… What else, what else, what else? He had ‘SICKO MODE,’ right, that came out that year. ‘Mob Ties,’ yeah, he had so many hits. Quickly, even if people said he lost to Pusha T, we didn’t feel the ramifications of the aftereffect.

Joe Budden is one of the biggest podcasters in the hip-hop world. Kai Cenat is easily one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. Overall, these two come from very different generations of the internet. However, their goals and talents are quite similar. With their generational divide, there has seemingly been a bit of a misunderstanding between the two. After all, Budden is known for some fiery rants that can be offputting for those he is targeting.

Following the infamous giveaway in New York that got Cenat arrested, Joe Budden went off on the young content creator. Moreover, Budden had words for Cenat after Drake continued to use him for the rollout of For All The Dogs. This led to more strong words between the two, and there has seemingly been a feud ever since. However, it was all squashed recently thanks to a stream that Cenat did with QueenzFlip. Flip is one of Budden’s co-hosts, and he made sure that everything was cordial between these parties.

I made that b**** famous (Goddamn) / I made that b**** famous“. Now, their beef is not as intense these days, but still there nonetheless in the 2020s.

Case and point, a song title change to a track off Taylor’s THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT seems to subtly fire back at Kanye. According to an article from Just Jared, along with some help of the Swifties, “thanK you aIMee” looks to be the song. This stylization is for Ye’s ex, Kim Kardashian whom the hitmaker has had issues with as well over the years. The way you can tell is because all of the letters in Kim’s first name are in upper case. If you listen to the track, there are even more hints that the entrepreneur is in Swift’s sights.

Taylor Swift & Kanye West Continue To Go At Each Other

However, this recent update is now shown as “thank You aimEe”, highlighting his apparently new name, “Ye”. Besides this tweak, this spelling is also signifying a new special rendition of the original song. You can only see this when you purchase a new digital version of the album which includes a live performance of “thanK you aIMee” in London. It’s on Taylor’s website for $4.99 until midnight. Perhaps the reason for her doing this is because of her album still remaining in the top spot this week on the Billboard Hot 200 after Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES 2 undersold hers, even in their first week of it being on the charts.

In late January of this year, controversial Miami, Florida rapper and rabid Donald Trump supporter, Lil Pump, unleashed on Joe Budden. Overall, it was a pretty shocking headline, as neither hip-hop figure has seemed to show any ill will toward one another in the past. At the time of this story hitting the internet, XXL mentioned that the “Gucci Gang” MC did co-sign Migos’ diss record “Ice Tray” when it released in 2017. That appears to be the only sliver of causation for Lil Pump to go off on Joe Budden several months ago. As for what the hitmaker said about the now podcaster, he brought his past addiction and assault allegations against women.

“F*** Joe Budden, 43-year-old drug addict [woman beater]”, via an Instagram Story. “[You’re] worthless. Go hit a man, not a [woman]. It’s never okay to hit women, [you’re] a piece of s***”. Now, after pretty much ignoring this random lash out, the equally controversial podcast host is firing back. Whether or not it has something to do with the aforementioned quotes is up for debate. Although, the person who clipped this portion of the episode of Budden’s show mentions that it deals with Pump’s Trump co-sign.

Ian’s Manager Calls Out Tyler, The Creator After Alleged Interview Diss

Tyler, The Creator isn’t shy when it comes to sharing his opinion. He’s been an outspoken person since he was famous. Nothing has changed, despite the fact that he’s now one of the most revered artists of his generation. He still highlights the things he has a problem with, and the specific people who embody said problem. Enter Ian. Tyler, The Creator didn’t mention the breakout rapper by name, but he did make it very clear that he has an issue with a guy who fits Ian’s description. Ian’s manager didn’t appreciate it.

The revelation came about during Tyler, The Creator’s recent appearance on Spring Hill. He broke into a discussion about a “white kid” that has recently become huge for what he considers to be all the wrong reasons. “This white kid. Regular Caucasian man,” Tyler noted. “And he’s like mocking Future and Gucci Mane… like rap music.” Tyler, The Creator then expressed confusion over why people are supporting the rapper in question. “People are like, ‘this sh*t hard,’” he explained. “It’s not even like satire… I hold rap music so close to my heart. This sh*t changed my life and everyone’s life around me.” The perceived disses against Ian did not go over well with the rapper’s manager, Bu Thiam.

Ian’s Manager Said Tyler, The Creator Sounded ‘Old’

Thiam, who is Akon’s brother in addition to being a talent manager, clapped back at Tyler, The Creator. He attempted to shut down Tyler’s claim that Ian copies the likes of Future and other Atlanta emcees. In Thiam’s estimation, Ian is simply taking influence. The same way that, say, Tyler, The Creator does when he emulates Pharrell Williams. Thiam also noted that he was from the ATL. “Yo, I signed Ian and I’m from Atlanta,” the manager wrote on his Instagram Story. “He sounds nothing like Gucci or Future lol. It’s called influence.”

Thiam then turned the tables on Tyler, The Creator and essentially labeled him an old head. The rapper who was once championed chaos and being different has, according to Thiam, become a hater. Ian is the new wave as far as the manager is concerned, and should be afforded the same benefit of the doubt that Tyler was given. “I never thought I’d see the day,” Thiam asserted. “Where you become old and hate on the youth lol.” Which side do you agree with?

Michael Rubin Reveals He Banned Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” From Party With Drake In Attendance

Michael Rubin says that he asked the DJs at his Fourth of July party not to play Kendrick Lamar’s hit diss track, “Not Like Us,” out of respect for his friend, Drake. Speaking about the viral beef during an interview with The Breakfast Club, the Fanatics founder explained that he didn’t want to make the Toronto rapper uncomfortable while he was in attendance.

“It was true,” Rubin admitted on the latest episode of the show. “I just didn’t think it was appropriate, so I said, ‘Hey, let’s not play anyone’s music that’s feuding with anyone here.’ That was a me decision. I just thought it wasn’t the appropriate thing to do.”

From there, he discussed the beef as a whole. “You have to be built for social media, you got to be tough, you have to take sh*t from people,” Rubin said. “Look, Drake is an iconic artist that we all have tremendous respect for. What I said to Drake and I really believe this, this is a great test for him. You can’t get to where he’s got to and not have people coming for you. I sleep with one eye open. I know right now we have three businesses. People are coming for me in every business every day, and that’s part of with success comes more competition, more hatred, and you know the best people show why they’re the best, and if you’re not the best, you crack and you fall apart. So I think this is a great test for him. I think he’s going to come out with lots of incredible music.”
