Bas Releases His New EP ‘[BUMP] Pick Me Up’ Feat. Gunna, Ari Lennox & More
Today, Paris-born Queen’s NYC-raised rapper Bas has released his long-awaited new 4-track EP titled “[BUMP] Pick Me Up” on Dreamville Records via Interscope. The short but sweet release has a feature on every track, with a star-studded lineup of Lil Tjay, J. Cole, Gunna, Ari Lennox, and Galimatias all squeezed into four tracks clocking in total at just 12-minutes. Watch the lead single to the release “[Admire Her]” featuring YSL Records’ Gunna below;
Bas released the track “The Jackie” featuring both J. Cole and Lil Tjay last Summer in July to critical acclaim, meaning that this new EP is more of a teaser to a more extended project in the works. Fans can expect a new album from Bas well in the works, having recently teased the news since his last full-length dropped in August of 2018 in the 14-track “Milky Way” album that charted well both in America and internationally. Revisit the melodic triple threat from last year below.

Bas Drops ‘[Bump] Pick Me Up’ EP
Bas And Gunna’s ‘Admire Her’ Commits To Showering Their Ideal Partner With Love
It’s been a really long time since we’ve received a full-length project from Dreamville’s Bas. His last project came in the summer of 2019 with Spilled Milk. The four-track EP had contributions from Earthgang, JID, Ari Lennox, and served as a follow-up to his vibrant 2018 third album Milky Way. Since Spilled Milk, Bas has laid off a few guest verses while showing up on Dreamville projects like Revenge Of The Dreamers III and D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape. At long last, Bas is back, and while it may not be with an album, he arrives with a batch of new records through a new EP.
Bas touches down with his [BUMP] Pick Me Up EP, and it features the highlight record from it is “Admire Her” with Gunna. On it, the duo takes time to shower their ideal partners with love after realizing what makes them special. They do so over production that complements Bas’ versatile ways as it does to Gunna’s slimy persona.
The EP also includes the previously-released “The Jackie” with J. Cole and Lil Tjay. Elsewhere, listeners will catch appearances from Galimatias on “Eyes On You” and Ari Lennox on “The Others.”
You can listen to “Admire Her” in the video above.
[BUMP] Pick Me Up is out now via Dreamville and Interscope. You can stream it here.

J. Cole and his Dreamville crew surprised the music world on Wednesday with news that they teamed up with DJ Drama for a Gangsta Grillz mixtape. The project is titled D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape, and as promised, they released the mixtape to the world on Thursday. D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape arrives with 15 songs and appearances from the entire Dreamville crew which includes Cole, Ari Lennox, JID, Earthgang, Cozz, Bas, Lute, and Omen. As for D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape, some highlight points on the project are Ari Lennox’s sample and interpolation of Rose Royce’s classic record “I’m Going Down,” Cozz’s freestyle over The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Who Shot Ya?” and excellent verses from the likes of J. Cole, Bas, JID, Earthgang, and more.
D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape touches down two days before Dreamville and friends bring their talents to North Carolina for a weekend filled with performances from some of the industry’s best names. The Dreamville cast, Lil Wayne, Jeezy, Moneybagg Yo, Wale, Rico Nasty, Fivio Foreign, Larry June, Bia, Morray, Blxst, T-Pain, and more will all appear at this weekend’s Dreamville Festival which takes place on April 2 and 3 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
