[WATCH] Baby Keem Releases New Video for “16”

Baby Keem has released a new music video for "16," his most recent single.

Baby Keem has released a new music video for “16,” his most recent single. Jonas Lindstroem directed the video, which depicts Keem’s fragile and colorful love life. The stark production video, which stands out as one of the 21-year-old Los Angeles-based star’s most personal declarations yet, brings these feelings to life in an elegant and vivid manner.

The song “16” is from Keem’s album The Melodic Blue, which debuted at #5 on Billboard’s 200 chart. Keem, who just made his debut as a featured artist on Ye’s DONDA 2, will go on a twenty-eight-city North American tour this spring.

Baby Keem’s Artful ’16’ Video Is Both Eerie And Mundane

If you haven’t been keeping up with Baby Keem, now’s the time to start. The young rapper was part of Kendrick Lamar’s launch of PgLang, Lamar’s own company and a departure from Top Dawg Entertainment. Kendrick’s next album will be his last on TDE, and it looks like he’ll be releasing his own music after that via Pglang. So far, Baby Keem has been one of the other exemplary artists involved with the label, and the fact that he’s Kendrick’s cousin hasn’t hurt his profile any. Today the rising rapper has released a new music video today, called “16.”

Keem is older than 16, though not by much, and the 21-year-old LA rapper is focused on his love life in the artful clip. Directed by Jonas Lindstroem, the stark visual runs through different locations, following Keem and the object of his affection through backdrops both eerie and mundane. Keem’s debut album, The Melodic Blue, dropped last fall, and his subsequent tour was a solid showing, too. It’s not clear if “16” is the beginning of a new album cycle for Keem, but if it is, this is definitely a great start. Check out the video above and keep an ear out for more new music coming from Keem this year.

What Songs Were In ‘Euphoria’ S2E4?

This latest episode of Euphoria ended on a cliffhanger. Rue, Jules, and Elliot’s love triangle has become more intimate, but their bond is put at risk thanks to a discovery that’s made by one of the characters. Meanwhile, Nate and Cassie’s affair reaches toxic levels as a result of the latter’s decision to spend more time with his ex-girlfriend, Maddy. Then there’s Cal, who goes on quite the bender, which comes to a dramatic end, all while Kat reaches a conclusion in her relationship with Ethan.

All of these events are soundtracked by great music selections that help to accentuate the emotions behind each scene.
