Azealia Banks Calls Cardi B An ‘Industry Plant’ And Roasts Iggy Azalea

Azealia Banks recently returned to Twitter after she was banned from the app in 2020, and she has not been wasting a moment. Last month, she showed a soft side by unexpectedly coming to Cara Delevingne’s defense. But now she’s back to starting drama by calling Cardi B an industry plant and roasting Iggy Azalea.

After Banks praised Cardi’s song “Bodak Yellow,” someone replied suggesting that Cardi is an industry plant. Banks quote-tweeted it, writing: “She was an industry plant lmao. But sis took advantage of the opportunity and rode that b*tch the f*ck out, assembled the right team, seized the moment and made herself a cultural mainstay. U have to respect it.”

When someone brought up Iggy Azalea, Banks was less inclined to pay compliments. “Sis really was supposed to use T.I for whatever he was worth, drop the blaccent – give fancy and a slew of other kesha type joints, then give fashion mogul Victoria Beckham KUNT,” she wrote. “But she’s giving the single mom thing she really thought whiteness would shield her from.”

She added: “Lmao and ur dumb ass is really trying it. House music is a black American art form. All that music u think is native to the UK is lifted from black American groups like underground resistance, drexciya etc. Donna Summer is literally the first techno artist in history.”

Azealia Banks Defends Cara Delevingne After The Billboard Music Awards: ‘That’s My Girl Thru And Thru’

The internet has been mad at Cara Delevingne, whose weird behavior at the Billboard Music Awards made headlines. This ranged from laying on the floor to take a picture of Doja Cat, DJ Khaled, and Fat Joe that ended up being a pretty low-quality photo, to playing with Megan Thee Stallion’s dress on the red carpet. Though Delevingne is practically known for her weird, eccentric presence, she was accused of fetishizing Black women.

In a surprising turn of events, Azealia Banks, after having a fan reach out and ask about the situation, came to Delevingne’s defense on Twitter.

She wrote, “Cara doesn’t have an obsession with with black women. It’s that upper crust English society full of fake white and jealous white hoes who were never as charismatic as she is that made fake friendships, tried sabotaging her every which way she moved and the intense jealousy. Of her older and extremely plain looking sister poppy that always made Cara feel sad and lonely. Poppy would always say mad back handed slick sh*t and tell Cara’s business to people in the industry and I always remember Cara literally traveling the world completely alone 4 years.”

She continued: “Lots of English society/media took advantage of that and there were plenty of times I would just hide Cara in my apartment for days at a time to make sure she got some deep sleep and some actual food and wasn’t just thrown out amongst the wolves like that. Everyone always wanted to use Cara for what they could get from her, and luckily for her – none of them got anything substantial. deep down I could tell she was (like me) so used to being told ur a bad person that she began to believe those things about her self and go out of her. Way to please people who saw her as an easy route to some fashion/British society clout… all of which they fumbled in the grand scheme of things. Cara and I just did normal stuff like dress up like mermaids, smoke spliffs and take naps. That’s my girl thru and thru.”

Azealia Banks Speaks Against Murder in Hip Hop: “It’s Not Gangsta, It’s Not Cool”

Azealia Banks Says DaBaby Should Have Been Canceled

Azealia Banks hit Instagram and called out rappers, music executives, and ultimately how all the parties involved led to the murders of artists. “Hiphop audiences are so ghetto and backwards sometime,” Banks opened.

“We need an intellectual glow up fucking pronto,” Banks added. “We cannot be this addicted to/excited about such run of the mill human shit. Knowing that most MEN and WOMEN IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY will exchange sexual favors for Job opportunities is not news. The difference is: these white actors who are sucking dick for lead roles aren’t shooting and killing one another!!!!”

Banks would double back to let rappers know murder in Hip-Hop is not the way. “This Hip Hop murder shit really has to fucking stop. It’s not fun. It’s not gangsta, it’s not cool, it’s like, it’s ruining fucking everything.”

You can see her full message here.

Banks is not the only one pushing to stop guns and murder in Hip-Hop. Earlier this year, Bobby shared a new set of images on Instagram where he enjoyed the company of a massive group of women and shared a message to put the guns down in music videos.

It Looks Like Even Twitter Jail Can’t Keep Azealia Banks Off Twitter Now That Elon Musk Is Buying It

In 2020, controversial rapper Azealia Banks had her Twitter account suspended. It was after a slew of transphobic tweets, which were nothing out of the sort for her. It was also not her first time being suspended; she was known for getting into fights with stars like Lana Del Rey and others.

Well, now that Elon Musk has acquired Twitter and all hell has been breaking loose on the bird app, Banks has made another Twitter account. She shared this news on her Instagram, posting her new handle @Azealiaishere with the caption: “Oh girlssssssssss lmao we are in this b*tch.” She’s yet to make a tweet yet, but surely she’ll be wreaking havoc soon.

Despite Banks’ chaos, the “212” rapper used Instagram to condemn Kanye West’s actions in February: “Y’all are making way too many excuses for Kanye. This is the second time he has publicly bullied North West. First with the abortion sh*t, and now putting her on blast on his Instagram page as if she’s some sort of criminal.” She continued, “Kanye had no problem with that magazine cover where North had on a f*cking belly top and purple eyeliner with her little buds showing thru the shirt, he thought it was fashion. You all said nothing.”

Azealia Banks Slams Kanye West’s Treatment Of Kim Kardashian And Says ‘Too Many Excuses’ Are Being Made For Him

For the past few days, Kanye West has been airing out his issues with Kim Kardashian, and they mostly relate to their children. In one instance, Kanye criticized Kim for letting North West use TikTok against his will. He also claimed Kim tried to “kidnap” their daughter, and days later, he claimed that she would not let him bring their kids to Chicago for a basketball game. While Kanye has received support from far right pundit Candace Owens, Azealia Banks is not coming to his defense at all. In fact, the singer took a moment to share a lengthy message criticizing his behavior and treatment of Kim Kardashian.

“Y’all are making way too many excuses for Kanye,” she said to began her message which she posted on her Instagram Story. “This is the second time he has publicly bullied North West.

Banks went on to accuse Kanye of trying to “wreck the mental health of the only person around to care for children” while criticizing him for his new relationship with Julia Fox. Banks also suggested that Kanye was going through “rapid opioid/heroin comedown/withdrawal type outbursts.”

“Kanye is an abusive psychopath, it’s beyond mental illness,” she said. “Stop trying to help him and start trying to help the poor child that he keeps on trying to embarrass and abuse publicly to garner sympathy for his ashy ass.”
