Buckshot Speaks Out After Recent Assault Landed Him In The Hospital

On Halloween, underground Brooklyn rapper Buckshot began to trend online following a harrowing video. According to AllHipHop, the Black Moon and Boot Camp Clik affiliate was viciously attacked in his hometown of Flatbush. The assault left him battered and bloodied, and he was admitted into the hospital for his injuries. He had received a ton of support online following the terrifying ordeal and thankfully, he’s getting back on his feet. Uproxx reports that he’s now out of the hospital thanks to an encouraging update from his label, Duck Down Music. “Buckshot was hospitalized, since released, and under the circumstances, he’s doing OK and recovering,” they began.

“We currently don’t have more detailed information to share but will do so as it becomes available.” In addition, Buckshot himself has spoken out, and he expresses his gratitude and explains what the steps are moving forward. He also says that this has something to do with “ongoing disputes over my property, where I am the rightful owner but have faced issues with unauthorized occupants who escalated the situation to violence.” “To all my friends, fans, and supporters—thank you for reaching out during this difficult time. Recently, I was the victim of a violent assault involving multiple individuals armed with weapons, including handguns,” Buckshot begins.

Buckshot Is Recovering

“As someone who’s been an entertainer and part of this community for over 30 years, I am deeply disturbed that such an incident could happen in New York—a city I love and call home. He then concludes with, “I am currently recovering from my injuries and am working closely with my legal team and law enforcement to ensure this matter is handled properly. We are committed to seeing justice served, and I ask for your patience and support as the legal process unfolds. Again, thank you for all the well wishes. Let’s put an end to violence and help rebuild a stronger, safer New York.”

Katt Williams Emerges Victorious In $1.7 Million Assault Lawsuit

Katt Williams is not going to be paying out $1.7 million to an alleged assault and battery victim, according to AllHipHop. The outspoken comedian and actor has been in a vicious legal battle since 2016 with Angelina Triplett-Hill. She alleges that she was beat up maliciously by being hit in the face and eventual becoming unconscious after hitting the ground. This all allegedly happened on a film set while she was his personal assistant in 2014. Furthermore, Triplett-Hill alleges that she was sent to the hospital for these injuries she accrued.

Prior to him winning this lawsuit, she was actually awarded the default judgement due to him allegedly avoid it altogether. But, as the case went on, Triplett-Hill’s story continued to wane. It was eventually discovered that she was never Williams’ assistant nor were there any hospital and police records documenting her alleged injuries. Further bolstering the superstar act’s case against her was that his attorney was able to track down and present his actual assistant.

Katt Williams Eight-Year Battle Is Over

Jeremiah Reynolds, Katt’s attorney, released a statement, saying, “At trial, we argued that the plaintiff had created a false narrative of working for Katt as his assistant and faked the incident. The plaintiff tried to play on the jurors’ emotions, supposed “power imbalances,” and did everything she could to try to bring in irrelevant and prejudicial evidence about Katt. Judge Snyder excluded it all.”

Lil Reese Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting His Ex-Girlfriend

Lil Reese was arrested by police in Houston on Sunday for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend inside a Texas nightclub, earlier this month. Authorities had a warrant out for his arrest over the alleged incident for the last several weeks. He stands accused of punching and strangling the woman at The Pinkhouse nightclub in Houston.

Police claim Reese attempted to kiss her several times, but as she continued to reject his advances, he became violent and attacked her physically. Reese’s attorney, Carl Moore, has already denied the allegations against his client. “Mr. Taylor vehemently denies these false accusations. We look forward to his day in court,” he said in a statement provided to TMZ. The outlet also reports that he’s already been denied bond.

The latest arrest comes after Reese faced a rape accusation, earlier this year. The court eventually dismissed that case, which prompted Reese to go off on how the media covered the incident. “@theshaderoom @tmz_tv The same way yall was posting that false azzz information like I did some to a b*tc when I kno it was bap post this. Case dismissed my first court face f*c u mean [three thumbs-down emojis],” Lil Reese shared to his Instagram Story. “Na it’s time to go get that 25k back from 12 they took from her that she tried to steal and couldn’t get away wit it and get bond money back [nine crying emojis].” In another post, he added: “F*c I look Like this ain’t that I know better. And the same way y’all posting that shi make sure yall post the case get thrown out on my court date. They do anything for clout and tryna come up try again.”

DaBaby Reaches Settlement In Sucker Punch Lawsuit

DaBaby can finally put his 2020 scuffle to rest, as he officially settled a lawsuit against him according to court documents reportedly obtained by TMZ on Friday (September 27). For those unaware, homeowner Gary Pagar sued him due to a 2020 incident at a music video shoot at Pagar’s house for the Stunna 4 Vegas track “Play You Lay.” What happened was that the rapper allegedly “sucker-punched” Pagar after he complained about music video shoot regulations, eventually bringing about this civil case. Both parties reached a global settlement on all claims and asked the courts to remove future conference dates in order to sign the settlement into existence.

What’s more is that DaBaby has a pretty good excuse to celebrate this settlement, as he just dropped his first project in two years. HOW TF IS THIS A MIXTAPE? is a pretty ambitious question for a record of this nature, and as you’d expect, it’s filled with his typical style and some more fiery verses. We wonder whether the Charlotte MC has more plans for 2024 as far as career moves or extracurriculars. After all, he’s in a place where he can pretty much do as he pleases.

Quavo Ordered To Pay $700K For Valet Assault

Quavo recently received a lawsuit from a Louisiana rapper who claims the former Migo stole a QUAVO HUNCHO track from him, but that’s sadly not the end of his legal troubles for this month. Moreover, a Las Vegas court and jury recently ordered him to pay $682K to a man he and his entourage seemingly assaulted in 2018, according to KLAS. For those unaware, surveillance footage captured the moment in which the Georgia rapper and his colleagues jumped valet Antonio Henry at the Encore Hotel & Casino due to an argument. The jury found Huncho liable for the damages, and his lawyer reportedly and dismissively called Henry’s move the pursuit of a “hip-hop lotto ticket.”

Furthermore, the news footage below indicates that Quavo’s lawyer claimed that Antonio Henry did not sustain any injuries and that this case doesn’t appear on any court record at press time. This is some pretty tough news for the trap MC, but it’s also not something he can’t make up in due time. For example, he recently appeared in the trailer for the new film Takeover, his latest crossover into the world of small and silver screens. Still, it’s a streak of bad luck in the courtroom, although that copyright lawsuit remains open.

Quavo Hit With $700K Judgement Over Valet Assault

He and Offset had a call following Rich Homie Quan’s tragic passing, further squashing the mysterious beef between the former Migos teammates. Of course, many fans likely remember that this isn’t the first time that they reconciled due to tragedy. Similar hatchet burials took place after Takeoff’s loss, but it seems like they still had (and possibly have) a lot to discuss.

Back to Quavo’s extracurriculars, another recent film crossover of his was his Ty Dolla $ign collab “IF I FALL” off of the Transformers One soundtrack. We’re sure that some more music releases are on the way, and that he will continue to address any legal issue promptly and responsibly. Diddy Begs Cassie For Help In Newly Revealed Text Messages After Hotel Assault

Diddy is now in court after months of accusations, allegations, and lawsuits, many of them which have remained speculative and accusatory at press time. However, one piece of evidence that suggests he may have a pattern of misbehavior is a clip of him assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel room back in 2016. Moreover, during a New York court hearing on Wednesday (September 18) to appeal for his bond again (unsuccessfully), Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson revealed texts that the Bad Boy mogul and Cassie allegedly sent to each other in the aftermath of this hotel incident years ago.

“Call me, the cops are here. I got six kids. Yo, please call, I am surrounded. You gonna abandon me all alone,” Diddy allegedly wrote to Cassie. “The defendant knew he had done something that could elicit police response,” Johnson interpreted. “When you get f***ed up, you knock me around. I’m not a rag doll. I’m someone’s child,” Cassie allegedly told her partner after his abuse of her. Elsewhere concerning this assault, these court hearings also present two wildly different clams about what actually happened.

Diddy’s Alleged Text To Cassie

First, Cassie’s side of the story. According to the prosecution, a male sex worker was allegedly present in her and Diddy’s hotel room at the time of the assault and Cassie allegedly tried to escape a “freak-off” party. However, Sean Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo alleges that Cassie discovered that Combs was cheating on her with another woman. Allegedly, she went through Diddy’s phone, threw it at his head, took his clothes, and walked out. Obviously, we don’t know the truth of what really happened here eight years ago. We’ll see what other proof emerges surrounding it.

Meanwhile, Diddy did score at least one small legal victory amid this intense and massive arrest. A judge dismissed a sexual assault case that had resulted in a $100 million judgement for the alleged victim. But that seems even smaller now that he is behind bars, and especially now that his alleged crimes are presented in more of a supposedly systemic way. It seems that even when the Bronx Bombers win, a celebration isn’t complete without Yankees fans brawling with the opposition, even at away games.

This past Tuesday(July 30) at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park when the Yankees beat the Phils 6-5, a Yankees fan called a Phillies fan a homophobic slur shortly before he smacked the man unconscious. In the footage, you can see two men in what appears to just be a verbal altercation until the man wearing the Aaron Judge jersey smacks the man in the black shirt, presumably a Phillies fan, leaving him out cold.

What’s come into question now is that prior to the assault, the man in the Judge jersey is now wanted for questioning by the Philadelphia Police for a potential hate crime after calling the man a f****t shortly before hitting him.

The Philadelphia Police Dept. said they are aware of the incident and have launched an investigation into things. “We are asking the victim and anyone who may have knowledge of the incident to come forward,” the PPD said.

Neither the Yankees nor the Phillies have commented on the incident.

Meek Mill Suggests “Manhunt” For Man Accused Of Ejaculating On Philadelphia Woman’s Leg

Earlier this week, one Philadelphia woman’s trip to a local Dollar Tree turned traumatic when an unknown man ejaculated on her leg. In disturbing footage making its rounds online, the victim can be heard shouting at the man as he flees the scene, growing emotional about the vile incident that had just taken place. Authorities are now searching for the man, who’s wanted for indecent assault.

He’s described as at least six feet tall with a “stocky build, a short receding hairline and a full beard.” Those with any information pertaining to the man’s identity or whereabouts are encouraged to contact the Philadelphia Police Department’s Special Victims Unit at 215-685-3251. As reports about the upsetting attack continue to circulate, however, Meek Mill has taken to X to pitch his own idea to his followers.

“Let’s play manhunt with him today in Philly some community service …. I got 2 bands for his lo??? But you gotta connect,” he wrote. “Just go live with him don’t pursue him … it gotta actually be you,” he added in a subsequent Tweet. “Philly small people know where this creep a** dude at ghtfoh… We need community protection also.” Meek’s posts have earned mixed reactions from his followers, who are sounding off in the rapper’s replies. Most can’t blame him for trying to take justice into his own hands considering the circumstances. Some, on the other hand, think he shouldn’t have shared his idea publicly.

Lil Uzi Vert & Floyd Mayweather Sued For Alleged Assault, Uzi Denies Involvement

Lil Uzi Vert and Floyd Mayweather may not be in the headlines together often, other than a car purchase five years ago, but they allegedly found themselves in a sticky situation. Moreover, a man by the name of Abdullah Ali sued them and multiple Money Team employees for alleged assault in June of 2023 in New York City. He filed suit in New York as well, and the story goes that they allegedly beat Ali up when he approached a Mayweather-owned trailer across the street from a hotel, per what his attorneys Matthew Blit and Michael Rose relayed to TMZ Sports. Supposedly, when he began filming, a Rolls-Royce emerged from the trailer, and Uzi and the Money crew noticed him and told him to stop recording.

Furthermore, Ali alleges that a fight broke out after a verbal argument, and that a group of at least ten individuals, including Lil Uzi Vert, kicked and punched him down to the ground and took turns attacking him for over a minute. “Lil Uzi Vert doesn’t know Floyd Mayweather or have any form of affiliation with Mayweather’s Money Team, and was not at the site of the alleged incident,” a reported representative of the rapper’s team allegedly told TMZ. Ali’s team maintains that it’s unclear whether or not the YoungBoy rival was there at the scene of the alleged crime.

In addition, lawyers Blit and Rose claim that their client Ali sustained multiple injuries as a result of this alleged attack, including lost teeth and a necessary hospital trip to heal. His lawsuit seeks unspecified damages and he reported the incident to law enforcement, although they haven’t arrested anyone at press time. Lil Uzi Vert hasn’t spoken on this publicly at press time, although they’ve got bigger fish to fry these days. They might be celebrating the release of a new collab with Don Toliver as part of his expanded HARDSTONE PSYCHO album.

Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather currently finds himself embroiled in beef with not just Gervonta Davis, but also 50 Cent’s tendency of relentless online trolling. We’re sure that all parties will handle the issue in kind, and we’re not expecting a reconciliation anytime soon. Still, it will be interesting to see how this legal situation develops, especially as Lil Uzi Vert’s team denied any and all involvement. What Happened Between Michael Rainey Jr. & Tylil?

Michael Rainey Jr. was recently the victim of public sexual assault and harassment following his appearance on Twitch streamer Tylil James’ show. Tylil, or as he’s colloquially known, TyTy, is an internet personality who has made a name for himself on social media. He hosts The Tylil Show on Twitch, where he live streams and engages with his audience of 100,000 viewers. However, an unfortunate incident has cast a negative spotlight on the show.

The Incident 

The incident in question occurred on June 9, 2024, during a live stream hosted by James. The live stream was meant to be a promotional appearance for Michael Rainey Jr. He made an appearance to discuss the premiere of the new season of Power Book II: Ghost which took place in New York City the previous week, among other things. Altogether, the stream included Michael Rainey Jr., Tylil, and at least four others. There were also two toddlers present, who stood to the left of a seated Tylil, and in front of Rainey. The atmosphere was lively, and the chat was active, as Tylil engaged with his audience.

However, the stream took an unexpected turn when a woman who was later identified as Tylil’s sister came in from the left of the screen. She stood at Rainey’s side, spoke quietly into his ear, and began making what looked like sexual advances at him. Things then took a turn when she reached down and apparently, groped Michael Rainey. Rainey’s discomfort was evident: he looked around, appearing slightly shocked and physically uncomfortable. Shortly after, he left the stream, and the clip soon started to go viral. The gesture made by the woman in the video was not visible, however, as this side of the camera was blocked by the two children standing at James’ side. The moment, captured on camera, quickly escalated into a viral controversy.

Michael Rainey Jr.’s Response 

Michael Rainey Jr. also addressed the incident on his Instagram. Expressing his shock and the gravity of the situation, he stated, “At this point, everyone has seen the video circulating online. I am still in shock and don’t fully know how to process what happened last night.” He also emphasized, “This is an unfortunate situation that I do not condone in any way. I can’t take it lightly because I know I would be in serious trouble if the roles were reversed.” He closed his message with: “The fact is, sexual assault is never OK, regardless of gender or status. We’re all human, and we should respect each other. Most importantly, we should always respect ourselves”

Tylil’s Apology

Initially, Tylil James seemed to downplay his sister’s assault against Michael Rainey during the livestream incident. He remarked, “She had never seen somebody of that caliber, so she started… That’s my sister, so I’m not gonna say nothing bad about her. I’m gonna just check her.” However, Tylil later acknowledged the assault against Michael Rainey and issued a more formal and sincere apology.

“After the actions that occurred during my stream last night I would like to sincerely apologize to Michael and his family for what took place,” he began. “My little sister was completely wrong and out of line,” and added, “What she did was very inappropriate and unacceptable. I am truly embarrassed and disgusted by her actions.” He also expressed respect for whatever decision Michael chooses to make, including legal action, and committed to taking “extreme precautions with future streams to avoid similar issues.” Finally, he shared that he has banned his sister from participating in future streams.

Public Outcry And 50 Cent’s Controversial Response

As the incident quickly spread on social media, the public’s response was in support of Michael Rainey Jr. Furthermore, there was criticism for the casual handling of the situation. Specifically, several folks on social media called out Tylil for ignoring Rainey’s assault. Meanwhile, some other fans and viewers urged Rainey to take legal action.

The conversation took yet another turn when Power creator, producer, and Michael Rainey Jr’s employer, 50 Cent chimed in. He posted a screenshot of the TMZ report of the incident, and appeared to mock the public’s anger on Instagram by labeling the incident an “aggressive advance.” Moreover, he captioned the post: “LOL. He’s fine no charges pressed.” 50 Cent subsequently faced backlash for his dismissive response to the incident. Soon after, the post was eventually taken down.
