ASAP Bari is offering clarity to a viral video of him being attacked by multiple men. As the Internet ran with the story that he was being jumped in his home of Harlem, Bari hit Instagram to offer more context.

“Everyday it’s something new with me from niggas hating on me to niggas rapper about me the best thing to do is have a great meal and get ready for another pay day,” Bari wrote.

“This last time talking about it. A niggas stole my chain two years ago out car without me know and I seen him so I knocked him out and his niggas jumped in,” Bari wrote. “Would have jump me to after the way I knocked him out. I’m so gangster I was solo with my jewelry on. These the same niggas who put money in my pocket. I’m real Harlem.”

In a video that is now going viral, ASAP and Vlone co-founder ASAP Bari was caught out there and jumped by multiple people on a basketball court in his hometown of Harlem.

The video shows Bari squaring off with another unidentified man, but not long before, others join in and begin throwing punches at the Harlem tastemaker. A man and woman eventually get in between the altercation, which eventually ends the brawl.

Bari has had a series of unfortunate events unfold ever since he was accused of sexual assault in 2017. Since then, he has been fired from Vlone and dissed by ASAP Rocky during his Rolling Loud Set. Bari accused ASAP member Relli of being a snitch after ASAP Rocky was arrested in 2021 at LAX Airport after Relli was allegedly shot in his hand by Rocky.

ASAP Rocky Goes To War On A Rap Battlefield In His Wild New ‘Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n)’ Video

The Independence Day holiday has long since passed, but ASAP Rocky’s love for all things red, white, and blue hasn’t. In the video for his latest track, “Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n),” the Harlem native shows off his patriotism in the military advertisement the United States will ever need. Rocky, alongside his masked faux ASAP mob, are gearing up for the battlefield that is hip-hop as the musician prepares for the release of his forthcoming album, Don’t Be Dumb.

With the recording artist fashionably dressed in a mix of camouflage and armed with an actual military-grade tank as an airplane hovers above, Rocky is overly prepared for his album’s invasion. The track, produced by Pharrell Williams, initially sparked rumors that Rocky and his beau Rihanna, secretly tied the knot as he rapped, “My wife is erotic, I’m smokin’ exotic / My whip is exotic, my crib is a cottage / A whole lot of cheesе, see we gettin’ that cottage / A wholе lot of brains, I skipped out on college.”

Later in the track, he revealed that the couple had a secret song in the works, rapping, “Flossin’ hard, this ain’t dental floss (Uh, woo, woo, woo) / Flossy, glossy / Nah, b*tch, this ain’t lip gloss / Luxe balm up in my palm / New collab’ with my baby mom.”

ASAP Rocky’s musical invasion has just begun.

ASAP Rocky & Travis Scott’s ‘Beef,’ Explained

During ASAP Rocky’s recent performance at Rolling Loud Miami, he seemed to throw some jabs at Travis Scott in an apparent new song. “First you stole my flow so I stole your b*tch, then you stole my style / I need my 10%, all the disrespect, I hope you take offense,” he rapped.

The two performers have been feuding off-and-on for years, but it seems to have been ignited again. It’s also not the first time that Rocky has dissed Scott at Rolling Loud. Back in 2019, according to NME, some had thought his freestyle referenced Scott.

“Please don’t compare him and me / You offending me / This ain’t a diss and we ain’t enemies / They concerned with making hits, I’m more concerned with making history,” Rocky sang at the time. However, a few days later, he tweeted: “THAT ME N TRAVIS BEEF SH*T SO PLAYED OUT , LET IT GO.”

And in 2015, Scott had went after a fan who mistook him. “I’m not motherf*cking ASAP, b*tch,” he fired back in the video.

So, why did it start in the first place? There has been speculation, especially based on Rocky’s recent line, that it started over Rihanna. Scott had reportedly dated her back in 2015 and participated in some songs from her Anti album the following year. However, since then, she has been with Rocky and the couple are expecting their second child.

Despite this, they’ve also had some positive moments together. In 2016, they were allegedly spotted on an airplane together, according to HotNewHipHop.

Here’s hoping these two can patch things up soon.

ASAP Rocky Premiered A Song At Rolling Loud Miami And Some Are Convinced It’s A Shot At Travis Scott

Travis Scott headlined Rolling Loud Miami on Saturday, July 22, and ASAP Rocky handled headlining duties on Sunday, July 23. Scott seemingly revealed the release date of his Utopia album to be July 28, but people are more concerned with what Rocky appeared to do when premiering an unreleased song.

As captured by The Shade Room, Rocky rapped, “First you stole my flow / So I stole your b*tch / Then you stole my style / I need at least 10 percent / All due disrespect, I hope you take offense.”

Some social media users were quick to associate these lyrics with Rocky’s perceived beef with Scott, as you can see below:

In May 2022, Drink Champs questioned Rocky about Scott stealing his style. “You can’t feed into petty sh*t like that, you know what I’m sayin’?” he said. “At this point, that sh*t is trash at this point.” However, Rocky admitted that, in the past, he “saw similarities, for sure. I saw that he was inspired and sh*t like that, but that’s what we in it for.”

Then, there’s the Rihanna matter. Rihanna and Rocky share one child together with another on the way — and they may or may not be headed toward marriage — while Scott was rumored to be with Rihanna in 2015, though neither party publicly commented on the alleged relationship (as chronicled by Insider).

Do ASAP Rocky And Rihanna Have A Song Coming?

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have a baby together and another on the way. Given their relationship status and the fact that they’re both respected musical artists, it would make sense that at some point, the two could do something like their own version of Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s Everything Is Love and make some music together. Now, the question is: Do they have a song coming?

Rocky seemingly teased one on his newly released single “Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n),” which includes the line, “Luxe balm up in my palm / New collab’ with my baby mom.”

While lyrics are of course open to interpretation and aren’t always 100-percent reflective of reality, Rocky did just tell Complex that he and Rihanna do have some things on the way, but not necessarily music. He said, “I’m always down to collab with my partner. She’s a phenomenal creative. Yeah, there’s a lot of things we’re going to collaborate on, from products for children, there’s a lot of things to look forward to.”

He also spoke of his partnership with Beats, saying, “[Beats] is a heritage brand at this point, and I think that they really advocated to have me display my different talents. They also showed love and made sure that the [new] music was in video; they were just open to the ideas that I wanted to do. And I think that’s what made them a great partner, for just allowing me to really take the wheel.”
