Sam Williams, Cowboys DE, Arrested On Drug And Weapon Charges

Sam Williams, a second-year defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys, has been arrested on drug and weapon charges, according to police in Texas. Williams was arrested on August 20 but later released. He participated in team practice on August 22. The Cowboys have acknowledged they are aware of the situation but declined to comment further at this time.

Police have additionally confirmed that the drug charge, possession of a controlled substance, is not for marijuana possession and is a state jail felony. Other outlets have since reported the charge was for THC possession. Meanwhile, the weapon charge is a Class A misdemeanor for the unlawful carrying of a firearm. This is not Williams’ first run-in with the police. In December 2022, Williams was cited for reckless driving after totaling his car not far from the Cowboys’ practice facility. At the time, police said that Williams going nearly double the 55mph speed limit.

More Trouble For Sam Williams

Williams began his football journey at Northeast Mississippi Community College before transferring after two years to Ole Miss. He had a solid career for the Rebels, recording 134 total tackles and 22.5 sacks. Playing in two bowl games, Williams won the Outback Bowl with the team in 2020. He was taken 56th overall in the 2022 draft, the 10th defensive end to be drafted. He appeared in 15 games for the Cowboys as a rookie. Additionally, he recorded 22 tackles and four sacks. He is currently listed as the backup to DeMarcus Lawerence on the team’s depth chart.

However, it’s unclear what will come as a result of this incident. Per the league’s personal conduct rules, the league could fine or suspend Williams. More information on the scary moment between rapper Gunplay and his wife, Vonshae Taylor-Morales, continues to arise. A video of the El-Paso, Texas-born artist and his wife reveals that there is some more background information on this dangerous situation. Recently, at their home in Miami, the two got into while Gunplay was playing Call Of Duty on his Xbox. Vonshae explains the events leading up to his arrest, “To summarize last night event. I asked [Gunplay] to quiet down as he scared the baby sleeping by yelling playing call of duty. He started going off on me for asking him to be quiet.”

She also tried to pack a bag and head to a different part of the house with their daughter while he was in this state of mind. Vonshae also highlighted the fact that he has a bit of an issue with controlling his alcohol consumption. “Unfortunately [Gunplay] is back using and developed a very bad drinking problem. I’ve tried everything in my power to help him and love him. This is a demon he has to overcome on his own. At this point I really believe it’s too late.”

It might really be too late for Gunplay, as he was arrested and charged with domestic violence, false imprisonment, child abuse, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Vonshae also placed a restraining order on him and reportedly filed for divorce. Furthermore, there is more evidence that further solidifies all of this. This video on Instagram shows the rapper getting frustrated with his wife after she tells him to turn off his phone, presumably streaming his Call Of Duty gaming session. She says, “That’s going to cut off here in a minute.” Gunplay looks visibly upset and we can only assume that might have been the night the incident occurred.

Antonio Brown To Be Arrested Unless He Pays $15K In Child Support

Antonio Brown is someone who has been no stranger to controversy throughout his career. Overall, Brown can be seen as someone who actually may just relish in the controversy. He has never been one to shy away from it, even when things get bad. For instance, he had his entire Arena League team expelled from the AFL due to his poor management. Moreover, he has had a few run-ins with the law, typically stemming from domestic disputes. Needless to say, life isn’t exactly relaxing for the man.

According to TMZ, Brown could be going through some significant turmoil sometime soon. Police in Miami have been given an order to arrest AB. This is due to the fact that he missed another child support payment, this time worth $15,000. As it turns out, something similar happened to AB back in April. He owed $30K and the police were going to arrest him. In the end, however, he paid the money, and the arrest was called off.

Tommie Lee recently addressed recent news that authorities arrested her in Miami on drug charges, including possession of cocaine and breaching the peace. Moreover, the reality TV star denied any and all claims that she used or possessed coke. NFL Stars Robert Quinn And Jimmy Graham Arrested In Separate Incidents

Two NFL players have been arrested over the course of the past 24 hours. Robert Quinn, who is currently a free agent, was arrested on August 18 on suspicion of a hit-and-run. The defensive end was arrested in Summerville, South Carolina. Police accused the 33-year-old of ramming his pickup truck into four vehicles as well as assaulting a woman in a residential neighborhood. Quinn was charged with one count of third-degree assault and battery, one count of hit-and-run of an attended vehicle, four counts of hit-and-run property damage, and one count of striking fixtures adjacent to a highway.

Quinn played college football at North Carolina before being drafted in 2011 by the Rams. He appeared in every game over the course of his rookie contract and remained with the team until 2017. After back-to-back one-year stints with the Cowboys and Dolphins, he joined the Bears in 2020. He was traded to the Eagles partway through the 2022 season. He would appear in a total of 13 games (seven with Chicago and six with Philadelphia). However, he was sidelined by injury late in the season.

Meanwhile, Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was arrested in LA on August 18. Graham was detained after police found him disorientated and wandering in traffic. His charges have not been announced. However, he was reportedly detained on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Graham and the Saints are in LA for a preseason game with the Chargers. Graham participated in practice early in the day. Additionally, team doctors believe he may have suffered a seizure.

The Sains issued a statement on August 19. “New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham experienced a medical episode last evening, which resulted in him becoming disoriented. He was taken into custody by local authorities and transported to a local hospital for evaluation for what Dr. John Amoss believes to be a likely seizure and spent the night under medical supervision and testing. Amoss met Graham at the hospital and is overseeing his care at this time. He was released this morning and is with the team as they continue preparations for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.” Furthermore, Dr. John Amoss is the Saints’ team doctor.

Moreover, the rainbow-haired rapper himself looked and sounded quite confused in the clip as an officer cuffed him. Readers might be thinking that this traffic stop relates to his recent incarceration for failing to show up in court amid his credit card debt case. However, the officers mention a traffic warrant for driving an unregistered vehicle, but one of them does also mention to him that Tekashi didn’t pay his fees or show up in court. As such, the situation is a bit hazy, but given his recent video working out at a Planet Fitness after getting beat up at an LA Fitness, it seems like he was able to handle both.

Regardless, the footage shows officers asking 6ix9ine for his license and registration as he holds a large stack of documents in the driver’s seat. “I don’t know which is which,” the New York artist says. Then, he starts to question the officers about getting sent to jail over a traffic warrant.
