YSL Defense Attorney Arrested On Gang Related Charges

The YSL RICO trial has been quieter across the past few weeks after an eruption of news in January. But now a new arrest outside of those already on trial is totally shaking the proceedings. According to WSB-TV reporter Michael Seiden on Twitter, one of the defense attorneys in the case was arrested earlier today. The attorney at the center of the news is Nicole Fegan and what’s perhaps even more noteworthy than her arrest itself is what she’s been charged with. The attorney working on one of the most substantial gang cases of the past few years was revealed to have been arrested on gang charges.

In successive tweets Seiden explains the situation as it unfolds. “In 2022, APD was investigating a double shooting on the northwest side of the city and police learned that Fegan had contacted a suspect in the shooting, warning him about active warrants for his arrest, APD confirmed,” another one of his tweets reads. “Fegan provided information she had learned during a preliminary hearing related to the shooting and advised the suspect to dispose of his phone as police were going to arrest him,” he elaborates. In a later tweet, Seiden identifies the specific charges she’s facing. “Fegan is charged with participation in criminal street gang activity and criminal solicitation to commit the offense of tampering with evidence,” he reveals. He concludes his series of tweets by confirming the earliest she will possibly be able to see a judge. Since that date is tomorrow she will likely spend a night in police custody.

The YSL trial is expected to continue for the next few months. The most high-profile defendant in the original indictment was Young Thug. He’s one of the final remaining people on trial in the case. Man Arrested For Alleged Involvement In Blac Youngsta’s Brother’s Murder

Blac Youngsta’s brother Tomanuel Benson was tragically shot and killed in August of last year, a case that saw little development in its immediate aftermath. However, that recently changed as authorities arrested a 28-year-old man in Memphis for his alleged involvement in the shooting. For those unaware, the rapper’s brother passed away after a shooting at a Memphis gas station. An investigation into the incident resulted in police naming Randy Darnell Ewing Jr. as a suspect, and warrants for his arrest emerged shortly after. This is the most recent development following a months-long manhunt that hadn’t resulted in any concrete news up until this point.

Furthermore, Ewing Jr. received charges of second-degree murder, criminally attempted second-degree murder, violations of the sex offender registry law, and other firearm offense-related charges. U.S. Marshals worked with Memphis PD and Shelby County’s Sheriff’s Office to capture Blac Youngsta’s brother’s alleged killer after a short chase on Tuesday night (February 13), according to AllHipHop. They found Ewing Jr. while armed and treated him for his injuries sustained during the chase before transferring him to Shelby County Jail. Detectives and other authorities remain tight-lipped when it comes to possible motives.

Meanwhile, this is how Blac Youngsta mourned his brother on social media. “I Love U Baby Brother Rest Up,” he wrote on his Instagram Story at the time. “I’m Gone Make The World Pay. Since then, the Atlanta legend’s made his peace with the minor incident, and spoke to The Breakfast Club on Wednesday (February 14) about the whole ordeal. During this conversation, he revealed some interesting background about how Jay-Z reacted, whose Global Impact Award speech created a viral Grammys moment of his own.

“What’s cr*zy is Jay was hitting me,” Killer Mike told the radio program, recalling that night at the Grammys. “I didn’t realize, as I was going through my thing, Jay was hitting me like, ‘Hold on, stick around, I want to toast you.’ And then he hit me later and was like, ‘I was going to concede my time to you for the speech.’ So shout out to Hov! It’s love, though. Me and him laughed. He said, ‘You wanted to go and get locked up during the biggest moment.’ I was laughing, it was hilarious.”

“It could be,” Killer Mike expressed when asked whether this arrest happened for a deeper reason and whether conspiracy theories played a part. “But look. Killer Mike Discusses His Grammys Arrest Following Big Wins

Killer Mike had a complicated weekend at the Grammys earlier this month. He took home a trio of awards in the rap category. The headliner of the bunch was Best Rap Album which he took home for his record Michael. One of the standout tracks from the album is “SCIENTISTS & ENGINEERS” which sees Mike teaming up with Future, Andre 3000, and Eryn Allen Kane. The song took home the Grammys for both Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.

But as soon as fans were celebrating his big night, things got complicated. Videos of Mike being led out of the ceremony in handcuffs began to flood online resulting in confusion from many fans. That was only moderately clarified when news eventually came out about a confrontation back stage that resulted in a misdemeanor assault charge. Thankfully he was released pretty quicky and was able to get right back to celebrating his big night. During a recent appearance on The View, Mike reflected on the situation. In his response, Killer Mike seemed to valorize his arrest. “All of my heroes have been in handcuffs – Malcolm, Martin, Mandela, Medgar. I walked out with the same dignity and respect that I walked in with, and I would implore people to just take that from it,” he began. Later in the interview, he did confess to being a little “overzealous” while celebrating his win backstage. Exactly what happened that led to his arrest still isn’t entirely clear.

Recently, Killer Mike also made an announcement about more music that has fans excited. he confirmed that his Grammy winning album MICHAEL is the first in a trilogy of releases he has planned. Kodak Black’s Drug Possession Charge Thrown Out By Judge

In December of last year, Kodak Black was arrested in Plantation, FL, and charged with possession of cocaine. The officers on the scene falsely identified a white powder on Kodak’s person as cocaine. It was later confirmed to be Oxycodone. He was also charged with tampering with physical evidence, as well as improper stop/stand/park.

Last month, his attorney filed a motion to have the drug possession charge dropped, arguing that he has a prescription. “This is an abuse of discretion to file a charge on an individual that has provided a valid prescription for the very item that as found. All this after the officer misrepresented and said it was cocaine. Clearly it was not cocaine, nothing has happened to the officer who misrepresented the item, and my client was taken into custody due to his misrepresentation,” he told XXL.

While Kodak Black is still on the hook for two charges, his drug possession charge has been dropped. A court hearing was held today to address the motion, and Judge Barbara Duffy sided with him. “I am always glad to see a court follow the rule of law on a case,” a statement from his attorney reads. “This case was one that should not have been filed. I tried to explain that to the Broward State Attorneys Office to no avail. It really shows the lack of control the Broward State Attorney has over his divisions, especially the drug trafficking unit.

“This was a possession case that was charged yet the drug trafficking unit decided to take the case over from the line prosecutor,” it continues. “It’s sad to see a special unit so focused on putting a man in jail that they would ignore case law and the head State Attorney would allow such a thing to happen.” What do you think of Kodak Black’s drug possession charge getting dismissed? T.I. Reacts To Killer Mike’s Grammys Arrest: “It Was An Atrocity”

Over the weekend, Killer Mike scored big at the 66th Annual Grammys. The performer took home awards for Best Rap Album for Michael, as well as Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for “Scientists & Engineers.” Soon after he accepted his awards, however, the evening took an unfortunate turn. He was taken away from the ceremony in handcuffs for a misdemeanor battery charge. Allegedly, Killer Mike had knocked down a security officer who wouldn’t get out of his way nearby.

While the arrest took many fans by surprise, T.I. recently told Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 that he can relate. “It was an atrocity,” he said of the arrest. “To be honest with you, Killer Mike going and sweeping the Grammys, winning three Grammys and then getting arrested and going to jail at the same event in the same venue, is the story of the Black man in America.”

Congratulations, man. You know, even though, what does a Grammy mean, for real? What is it worth if you can’t even enjoy the night and celebrate without getting arrested?”

T.I. went on, “What is the true value? I’m asking the question, like for real. Why should we really aim for that when we go to jail in the same building we get the Grammy. I mean, how valuable is it?” T.I. later joked that Killer Mike is “infringing on [his] intellectual property,” as he himself was arrested in 2007 hours before his scheduled BET Hip Hop Awards performance. While it’s unclear what prompted the post, resurfaced bodycam footage of her 2020 arrest went viral, earlier this week. At the time, she was booked for stabbing, Lapattra Jacobs, who also shares a child with the rapper.

Fans had plenty of reactions to the post when The Shade Room shared it on Instagram. One fan commented: “His wife is God’s strongest soldier bless her heart.” “This why y’all need to stop calling that girl delusional. Y’all don’t know what typa relationship they got,” one wrote. Another user joked that they’ve finally been getting a break from Chrisean Rock and Blueface. “This internet been peaceful without chrisean and blue don’t y’all come starting no sht,” they wrote.

As for the aforementioned bodycam footage, it shows Mayweather being taken away in handcuffs as well as the moment police read YoungBoy his Miranda rights. Mayweather can be seen sobbing as she comes to terms with the severity of Jacobs’ injuries. She ended up pleading guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and got six years of probation.

Lisa Ann Responds To Matt Rife Show Arrest With Photographic Evidence That She Is Innocent

Lisa Ann is a former adult film star who has remained extremely famous since her retirement. Overall, she is a name that carried a lot of weight back in the day, so she still has a fanbase. Moreover, she hosts podcasts and even has some skin in the game when it comes to sports gambling. Needless to say, she continues to do quite well for herself. However, she did find herself at the center of controversy the other day as she ended up getting arrested while attending a Matt Rife comedy show.

The show was at Radio City in New York, and Rife had made it so no one was allowed to film him. Security claims that Lisa Ann had her phone out which subsequently led to her getting escorted out and detained by the NYPD. The actress posted a video of the arrest on social media and proclaimed her innocence. Now, she is following that up with a photo of herself in the crowd at the event. In the post, she makes the claim that she was not the one holding the phone.

Furthermore, Lisa Ann issued a statement where she thanked fans for their support. She also expressed empathy for security workers and their role at events. However, she did note that the arrest left her “bruised both physically and emotionally.” It was clearly a traumatic moment for her, and we hope she is doing okay.

Patrick Mahomes Sr. Reportedly Had Open Can Of Beer In His Car During Arrest

Patrick Mahomes Sr. found himself in some trouble over the weekend. According to TMZ, the father of the Kansas City Chiefs superstar was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. The arrest went down in Texas after Mahomes Sr. was caught driving slow in traffic. He reportedly had expired tags, which is what led to the stop in the first place. However, once cops found him to be a bit intoxicated, they issued a field sobriety test and then arrested him.

This is the third time has been arrested for such an offense, which means he could be hit with a 10-year prison sentence. Despite all of this, he will be allowed to go to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas this weekend. Now, in a new update from TMZ, some more details were revealed. Essentially, Mahomes Sr. had an open can of beer in his center console. Furthermore, he had admitted to having a few beers at a bar earlier in the evening.

This is not a good situation for the Chiefs and Mahomes to be in ahead of the Super Bowl. Killer Mike’s incredible Grammys run this year, resulting in a clean three-for-three sweep in rap categories for album, song, and performance, was undercut almost immediately by a scandalous incident. Authorities arrested him shortly after, reportedly for a misdemeanor involving a scuffle with a security guard, and many expressed outrage online. Not only should the MICHAEL star have celebrated his accomplishments in peace, but this caused discussions around the perception and treatment of Black celebrities no matter their status. Regardless, he recently called into The Big Tigger Show on Monday morning (February 5) to speak of the previous night’s awards ceremony, and he had a minimal comment on the controversy.

“We hit a speed bump, and then we head back to the party,” Killer Mike remarked. Of course, many fans think that he probably has more to say on the matter, but for whatever reason, might save it for another time. Also, there’s the possibility that the Atlanta lyricist plans on taking legal action or pursuing this more formally, so he might want to stay tight-lipped on the situation.
