Sexyy Red Claims It Wasn’t Her In Viral Airport Brawl Footage

Sexyy Red is someone who has always elicited some controversy. Overall, she is an artist who has delivered some catchy hits, albeit some vulgar ones. It is her lyrical content and social media antics that have ultimately made her so polarizing. However, she has a large fanbase, and there are many who remain consistently impressed with her output. Outside of the music, Sexyy Red found herself in custody over the weekend after an altercation at the Newark Airport.

As we reported, Sexyy Red was with her crew when they allegedly got into a fight with another group of people. Furthermore, new footage surfaced on TMZ this morning. In this footage, Sexyy Red allegedly could be seen wielding a metal pole, which she swung around. Although she didn’t seem to hit anyone, the artist was arrested anyway and was subsequently released shortly after. However, despite the footage surfacing online, Sexyy Red is now refuting the fact that she was spotted on tape.

On her Instagram story, Sexyy Red posted herself putting up the middle finger, all while saying “DAT WASNT DF ME.” It remains unclear whether or not Sexyy was simply trolling or actually proclaiming her innocence. Either way, it remains clear that this is one of those things that Sexyy wants to move on from. She already took to social media looking to make things right with whomever had their phone destroyed in the scuffle. Hopefully, both sides were able to resolve the issue with peace.

Sexyy Red Caught On Surveillance Footage Wielding A Stand During Massive Airport Brawl

Sexyy Red revealed this past weekend that she had been arrested and subsequently released while in Newark, New Jersey. Overall, her arrest had to do with an alleged brawl that took place at the Newark Liberty International Airport. According to TMZ, her crew got into a fight with another group of people, which led to some assault charges. Furthermore, some of the injured parties in the fight had to go to the hospital to have their minor injuries treated.

Since the fight, surveillance footage from the airport has been obtained by TMZ. In the clip below, you can see that Sexyy Red is in the thick of things. Interestingly enough, she even picks up a metal stand from off the ground and uses it in a threatening manner. The artist even waves the pole around before being pulled away from the mess. Based on the footage, Sexyy Red didn’t hit anyone, although there is no telling what could have happened off camera.

Sexyy Red seems to be taking all of this quite seriously. We know that because she ended up taking to social media after the fight as a means to reach out to those she fought against. In her social media post, she offered to help replace one of the phones that was destroyed during the battle. Chrisean Rock Arrested While Attending Blueface Court Hearing

Chrisean Rock and Blueface have had a tumultuous relationship over the years. They dated from 2020 to 2023, and welcomed a child after their split. Despite their separation, Chrisean Rock has made a point of supporting Blueface throughout his various legal battles. The “rapper “Thotiana” rapper was arrested for violating his probation back in January, and the subsequent court hearing was held June 10 in a San Fernando Valley courthouse. Things took an unexpected turn, however, when Rock showed up and was promptly arrested.

TMZ reported that Chrisean Rock attended the hearing with her daughter. As soon as she entered the courtroom, however, she was handcuffed by officers and hauled off. The outlet was informed that San Fernando Valley police were waiting for Rock to show up. Officers reportedly escorted Rock’s child away while patting the rapper down to ensure she didn’t have weapons on her person. It was unclear as to why Rock was being arrested, initially. It was later revealed to be tied to a felony fugitive warrant that dates back to 2022.

Chrisean Rock is being held without bail. She’s also being charged with assault with a deadly weapon, which stems from the aforementioned 2022 warrant that was sworn out in Oklahoma. The rapper was fully aware that she was being sought out for these charges. Yet, she told IG Live viewers that she had better things to do than turn herself in during a March stream. “I been paying off fees and getting rid of s**t, talking to certain people,” Rock noted. “I have my son. The old me would have just turned myself in and dealt with it. The inside through the outside of the jail. Whatever… Right now, I gotta play it cautious ’cause I don’t plan on being in jail while my son is growing.”

Chrisean Rock is no stranger to legal setbacks. The rapper has been arrested multiple times since 2020. She was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in May of that year. She was also charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing during a 2022 stop in Arizona.

Reality TV star Tommie Lee found herself in legal trouble once again after a bizarre incident at Miami’s LIV Nightclub that allegedly ended in a physical confrontation, TMZ reports. There haven’t been many details regarding the altercation, which naturally raised questions on what exactly transpired. According to police reports and eyewitness accounts, the situation quickly escalated, culminating in Tommie’s detention by local authorities.

On Sunday night, the Baddies star night took an unexpected turn when she was arrested at LIV Nightclub in Miami. According to Miami PD records obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, the altercation began outside the club’s entrance. A man claimed that he believed Tommie approached him in an attempt to hand him an unknown object. The man, who had never met Tommie before, refused to take the item, which allegedly sparked a violent reaction from the reality star.

Allegations Of Aggression

The man, whose identity has not been disclosed, reported that after he refused the item, Tommie Lee became belligerent and aggressive. He further alleged that Tommie threatened his life, saying she would have him killed. This alarming statement reportedly led the man to take immediate action. Fearing for his safety, the man grabbed Tommie by the arms, turned her around, and restrained her until the police arrived. This decisive move prevented the situation from escalating further but also placed Tommie in a compromising position when law enforcement arrived on the scene.

When Miami PD officers arrived, they took statements from both parties involved. The police report indicates that officers reviewed surveillance footage from the nightclub. Sexyy Red is one of hip-hop’s biggest exponents right now, and it’s no secret that the gap between her core fanbase and her casual hype-chasers is growing with this rise. Apparently, this led to an unfortunate situation at the Newark airport over the weekend, as authorities reportedly arrested her due to an altercation with fans and security. Moreover, one of the theories and allegations floating around online is that Chief Keef’s rumored boo confronted a fan for taking a non-consensual picture of her and her bodyguard. Also, it’s unknown whether officials also arrested other members of her entourage due to a video that she published online at around 5:30AM local time.

Furthermore, Sexyy Red let fans know that authorities released her from custody, presumably shortly after the incident, from a crowded vehicle. Also, she wrote the following message on her Instagram Story: “To the people that was in that altercation at the airport please dm me so I can replace yo phone !!” As such, we still don’t really know what went down with the St. Louis MC and whether or not this is fully accurate. Either way, she was quickly back online to show love to Drake’s IG, so it seems like things wrapped up pretty quickly if something actually caused a scuffle.

Of course, this could be a big roadblock for any artist, so hopefully this alleged situation doesn’t escalate further and already resolved itself. At least, once Sexyy Red replaces someone’s phone, that is. Elsewhere, though, she’s looking forward to applying more pressure this year through more moves and collaborations, including a teased one with the aforementioned Chief Keef. The “Grape Trees” duo has been filming a music video as of late, presumably for that very same collab.

NBA YoungBoy Shares Last Song He Recorded Before House Raid, “Tears Of War”

NBA YoungBoy has shared the final song he recorded before federal agents raided his property and took him into custody, earlier this year. DJ Akademiks posted the track, “Tears of War,” on his YouTube page and explained: “Top Gave me this song for his fans. He said this was the last song he recorded before they raided his house. He miss yall.” On the song, he sings about the traumatic moments he’s been through and crying “tears of war.” At one point he even references Birdman and Lil Wayne. Fans in the comments section have been loving the single. One user wrote: “Young Boy be making the best songs when he uses his regular voice this song is the one especially when he started singing. FREE TOP.” Another added: “He sounds like the Nba youngboy we know man this so fireee damnn.”

Police raided YoungBoy’s home in Utah where he had been serving house arrest back in April. They hit him with several charges, including possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person and for a pattern of unlawful activity. A judge eventually set a $100,000 bond for the rapper but he was also charged with additional crimes. His arraignment is set for July 1. Kodak Black’s Baby Mama Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting His Other Baby Mama

Kodak Black’s baby mama drama just got a whole lot more complicated, as authorities reportedly arrested the mother of two of his kids, Maranda Johnson, for allegedly jumping his first baby mother Jammiah “Maya” Broomfield. Specifically, the reported charges are battery, burglary, and grand theft, and follows Johnson threatening Broomfield and Kodak online as well as smashing his car windows. If you recall, this incident occurred because the rapper was with Broomfield and their son the other day. Seems like everyone involved has some issues to sort out. Hopefully they do so soon for the sake of the families, because seeing things go to these lengths can be scary.

Furthermore, this comes amid a pretty interesting time for Kodak Black, who’s not dealing with many legal issues right now and seems in a much better place. As such, we hope that the patience and positive energies are there to handle this combative situation as well as possible. But in addition to this being a more tranquil time for the Florida MC, he’s also got a lot more to develop when it comes to his next career moves and how he will grow throughout the decade. Elsewhere, some other Kodak Black-related beef, the one with Boosie Badazz, is one that the Baton Rouge artist wouldn’t necessarily categorize as such. Moreover, Boosie told DJ Vlad during his latest VladTV interview that he doesn’t really see his personal and social media issues with Kodak as “rap beef,” per se. The same goes for his feud with NBA YoungBoy, as he thinks that these spats and situations are pretty casual and aren’t indicative of any real issues. Even though Badazz does have a partial “diss track” for Yak in “Grateful,” he doesn’t see it as such since it’s not all directed at him.

Meanwhile, hopefully all these family issues sort out, because Kodak Black always looks happy and healthy when he’s around his loved ones. Take this with a grain of salt, though, as there isn’t a whole lot of other information out there concerning this supposed arrest. Ryan Garcia Arrested For Alleged Vandalism: Report

Ryan Garcia has been arrested for felony vandalism, according to TMZ Sports. The outlet reports the alleged incident went down at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills on Saturday afternoon. Authorities claim the fighter damaged property inside the hotel, mainly in his room and the outside hallway. It’s unclear how much damage he allegedly caused, as in California, anything over $400 can constitute a felony.

In addition to reporting the arrest, TMZ Sports also obtained footage of police escorting Garcia into custody. In the clip, he covers his head with a helmet while making his way into a squad car. He appears shirtless, however, making him identifiable by his back tattoos. While he went peacefully, witnesses told TMZ he appeared under the influence.

The arrest comes after police performed a wellness check on Garcia, earlier this week, at the same hotel. He was reportedly okay at the time and officers let him be, although the hotel reportedly cut him off from alcohol. Garcia famously defeated Devin Haney in what many considered a major upset, earlier this year. “I don’t give a f*ck what people say about me,” Garcia said following the fight. “… I drank every single night. Went out on the first Monday and Tuesday (of fight week), and drank, drank, drank. What happened? I won. I’m not necessarily proud of it, but I’m just saying. It was a statement to say you guys can’t really f*ck with me. I can do whatever I want. … I drank every day and did whatever I wanted. I’m not proud of it at all. I just pray for my kids, and hopefully, they are OK. I hope I made them proud.”

Jaguar Wright Arrested In Dallas For Alleged Theft Of Property

In recent months, Jaguar Wright has been making headlines for making shocking claims about several of her celebrity peers. She’s taken aim at the likes of Diddy, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Justin Bieber, and more. She even recently alleged that she once saw a sex tape of Nicki Minaj of Megan Thee Stallion. Obviously, this is unconfirmed, but got social media users listening nonetheless.

Unfortunately, however, it was recently reported that the songstress is now behind bars. According to a post by The Neighborhood Talk on Instagram, she was booked in Dallas earlier today. Legal docs obtained by the outlet show that she’s being accused of theft of property between $30K-$150K, a third-degree felony in Texas.

Further details surrounding Wright’s arrest are not available at the time of writing, though it’s rumored that she was taken into custody for allegedly failing to return a U-Haul truck. Again, these aren’t confirmed, but will likely continue until fans get their hands on more info.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Wright’s found herself at odds with the law. In January of last year, she was arrested for an alleged domestic dispute with her husband. He and NBA YoungBoy released their collab “Why Oh Why,” and it’s curious that this is the art out of this career that we got amid all this trouble. The situation is still relatively unclear, as there are only allegations when it comes to how Kingston and Turner supposedly netted over $1 million through scam practices. But with new music to boot, it feels like this is a cultural reset moment in which he seeks to reclaim the narrative and stand tall.

Meanwhile, the ten charges that Sean Kingston faces also involve bank fraud, scamming a jeweler, and more alleged fraud-related crimes. Whether or not a court of law upholds this idea or rejects it is a mystery, one that might see resolution by the end of 2024.
