John McEnroe Explains Travis Scott Argument, Rapper Destroys Stage Prop During “FEIN”

Earlier this week, a leaked clip of an argument between Travis Scott and tennis legend John McEnroe began making its rounds online. In the clip, McEnroe gets heated, arguing that they should change Cactus Jack to “Cactus Mac” for their Nike collab campaign. Travis didn’t agree with him, claiming that “Cactus Mac was never a thing.”

Eventually, McEnroe got frustrated and left the Zoom call, but not before letting the artist know how disrespected he felt. “C’mon man, show a little respect, this is my shoe!” he said. Now, Maurice Kamara of @thepeoplegallery_ has caught up with McEnroe for a fit check, and to glean some insight to the argument. He maintained a similar sentiment as before, insisting that he get some respect for popularizing the shoe. As for his fit, he kept things simple with a trench coat, some jeans, and a pair of Attacks.

Towards the end of the interview, however, he opened up his trench coat to reveal a Cactus Mac t-shirt. “I was wearing these things in the 80s,” he said of the shoes. While his endeavors in fashion have certainly paid off, Travis Scott also continues to do what he’s best known for. He’s currently making his way around the U.S. and Canada on his Circus Maximus tour in support of his album UTOPIA.

During a recent performance, he was gearing up to perform “FEIN” when he decided to unleash on a nearby stage prop. He destroyed the prop with his foot while security looked on, appearing concerned. It’s unclear why he decided to break the prop, but regardless, his crowd cheered him on.

King Harris Is Demanding A High Price Tag For An Interview

King Harris, the son of legendary Atlanta rapper T.I. is becoming an overnight sensation for all of the wrong reasons. If you have not been keeping tabs on what is trending, this past weekend was an eventful one, to say the least, for T.I. and the gang. The rapper brought his family out for the Atlanta Falcons home matchup with their division rival New Orleans Saints. While all appeared to be just fine, King hopped on Instagram Live and that is when everything went south.

He started going off about how he knows what it is like to grow up in the trap. However, T.I. and his wife Tiny, immediately stepped in to correct him. They put him on blast, saying he was coddled and was sucking a pacifier until he was 12 years old. Things got heated fast and now it has vaulted King and his family into a lot of discussion online. What was worse was the rapper was there because he was performing to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.

One of the wildest moments looking back at 2023 definitely includes his uncomfortable encounter with Brittany Renner on The Danza Project. It all went down this past August, as the social media starlet and model lashed out at everyone on the set, including White. The clip went absolutely viral all over the internet. Why Renner was so upset had to do with the fact that White said she was playing dirty with the men she was getting with.

Now, Charleston is giving another opinion on a hot topic. This time, it is about T.I. and King Harris’ fight at the Atlanta Falcons game. The reason both of them and the rest of the family were in attendance was because the legendary rapper was going to be performing. But, it was not just for any show, it was for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. Before his show, Harris and his father were going at it on Instagram Live. T.I. said he was embarrassing the family after causing a scene in the stands.

You had that boy showing out at the Falcon game and embarrassing the family.” The video goes on for about four minutes. T.I. has yet to comment on any parts of the situation.

Mike Jones Responds To NLE Choppa’s Call-Out Over Sample Issues

Samples are pretty much everything in hip-hop: its lifeblood and point of origin, an indelibly useful creative tool, and a commercial headache. Moreover, we always hear about clearance disputes, royalty splits, and so much more when one artist wants to use another’s song. While that can sometimes be more attributed to the labels or management that these MCs work with, sometimes the beef can get in between the artists themselves. That’s what happened recently with NLE Choppa and Mike Jones, as the former called the latter out for copyrighting a sample that he already cleared: his song “Still Tippin’,” which became the instrumental for Choppa’s “CMON” freestyle. Now, Jones clapped back.

“Don’t care about getting respect,” Mike Jones responded to NLE Choppa’s complaints. “Especially if the respect wasn’t shown 4 months ago prior to releasing the music without getting the business clear! Furthermore, this is what NLE Choppa had to say to Mike Jones when this copyright claim came through. “Ion know if it’s Mike jones or his team but on everything y’all dead wrong for trying to copyright a song I cleared,” he expressed on Twitter. “That’s some hating s**t especially for a young n***a like me that’s just tryna please his fans. Ion feel that I lost d*mb respect but it’s cool fasho!” What’s funny is that this isn’t the first time that Jones in particular shut down remixes to his songs much to the public dismay of the sampling artist, as this happened to rapper BiC Fizzle with the exact same song earlier this year.

ASAP Bari Slams JT, Insists Lil Uzi Vert Spat Was About Ice Spice

During a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, JT spoke on her infamous phone-throw at the 2023 BET Awards. She had gotten into a spat with her partner, Lil Uzi Vert, and fans speculated that it surrounded their interaction with Ice Spice. The City Girl denies this, however, and claims that it was only about a seat.

According to her, Uzi offered her seat to ASAP Bari, and refused to check him when she returned to sit down. “You should have made sure I had that seat,” she said on the show. “It was never about another artist.” She went on to claim that Bari should have gotten up to give her the seat and didn’t, resulting in her hurling her phone at Uzi.

It appears as though Bari didn’t take too kindly to being brought into the conversation, as he had some choice words for JT on his Instagram Story today. “He ain’t want you [sitting] there d*mb b*tch,” he wrote. “Stop lying.” Bari went on to say that their fight did actually involve the “Deli” performer, despite JT’s claims. “She was really mad about Ice Spice not about me,” Bari added. “She called him a groupie cause he was sitting next to her.” He didn’t stop there, however. He went on to take aim at City Girls’ album sales, noting how RAW is expected to sell roughly “6k.”

Chrisean Rock And Natalie Nunn Exchange Heated Words On “Baddies East”

Natalie Nunn hasn’t been on the best of terms with Chrisean Rock as of late. The duo got into it on an episode of Baddies East recently, and things got pretty ugly. Chrisean’s sister Tesehki hurled insults at Natalie, and she threw them right back at her. It escalated from there, and it started to look like Tesehki was ready to throw hands. Instead, Chrisean threw a water bottle at Natalie, which nearly hit her in the face.

As Tesehki walked away and called Natalie a “meatball,” Chrisean approached Natalie and told her that she couldn’t fight. Natalie said “sure,” noting that she certainly wouldn’t be fighting her, likely referring to the fact that she was pregnant at the time. Despite this, they exchanged some heated words. The situation appears to surround Natalie unfollowing Tesehki on Instagram, which the Baddies Star insists just wasn’t that big of a deal. Clearly, Tesehki doesn’t agree.

This is far from the first time the sisters got into an altercation on the show, however. In a recent episode, Chrisean took aim at Woah Vicky for liking shady Tweets surrounding her relationship with Blueface. Since she was pregnant, she told her sister to hit her on her behalf, but Tesehki refused. As Vicky continued to apologize, Chrisean kept urging her sister to escalate the situation. Tesehki said it wouldn’t be worth it, and Chrisean threatened to get involved herself. This led to some backlash from fans, who thought it was irresponsible for her to try to get into a physical altercation while pregnant.

Nunn opened up about the situation during a recent Instagram Live, claiming that she was over Chrisean’s antics. She called the Crazy In Love star out for always insisting she has more clout than everyone, refusing to add her to the stream. Wack 100 recently popped off on Clubhouse, after he felt as though CEO Big Folks said something disrespectful about Cash Money artist BG. Things got pretty heated between the two of them, and Wack 100 made it clear that he won’t tolerate any shade towards anyone on the label. CEO Big Folks, on the other hand, seemed to be pretty confused as to why the argument even started in the first place.

In a clip of the argument, Wack 100 calls out CEO Big Folks over a comment he made about BG. “I don’t give a f*ck ’bout no BG,” he responded. This looks to have aggravated Wack even more, and things went south from there. “Hey bro, check yourself man. “I represent Cash Money,” Wack 100 explained, “I eat over there.” The two went back and forth for a while, with Big Folks insisting that he never dissed BG. Eventually, Big Folks told Wack that he was sorry for offending him, even though he didn’t mean to be disrespectful. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Wack 100 went after someone on Clubhouse. Last week, he took aim at Amber Rose, throwing some serious jabs about her previous relationships.

Aries Spears And DJ Vlad Argue About Nepo Babies

During a recent interview with VladTV, Aries Spears shared his thoughts on nepo babies. The term has been thrown around a lot lately, referring to the children of wealthy or celebrity parents. Nepo babies are pretty controversial, with a lot of them receiving hate for the privileges they have. Though some nepo babies really do work to carve their own paths, the advantages they have in doing so tend to put people off. Some famous examples include the Kardashian/Jenner sisters, Lily-Rose Depp, and Hailey Bieber. Bieber even made headlines earlier this year for leaning into the stereotype, wearing a t-shirt reading “nepo baby.”

DJ Vlad and Spears got into a bit of a debate on the whole concept, with DJ Vlad claiming that being a nepo baby doesn’t guarantee someone anything. Spears agrees on some level, however, he thinks they have far more advantages than most. “It doesn’t guarantee you a role,” DJ Vlad says. “No, it doesn’t guarantee you a role but it does allow you to skip the line,” Spears notes.

When DJ Vlad says “possibly,” Spears argues his case. “No, it’s no ‘possibly’ about it,” he explains. “A lot of people can’t even get to the front door.” He says that for a lot of people, the massive sacrifices they make in order to pursue their dreams can be frightening. The comedian describes how after dedicating themselves to their craft they still have to worry about feeding their family, paying bills, and constantly having an alternative plan, as their success is never guaranteed.

Spears emphasizes the stark contrast between this and the path of a nepo baby, who will always have something to fall back on. “When you try to make a life for yourself and complete a dream that you’ve always had for yourself and pay the mortgage, and the rent, and the bills, and keep the lights on, and feed your kids and this is your heart, your soul? That matters to you.”

Joe Budden & Co-Host Ish Get Into Shouting Match Over Speaking With Ex-Girlfriends

Joe Budden and his podcast co-host, Ish, got into a heated argument during a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast. Budden had previously mentioned not conversing with any of his friends’ exes, a comment with which Ish took issue. In doing so, he brought up a time when Budden smoked hookah with his ex-girlfriend of nine years.

“Any girl, I don’t give a fuck who she is, if I used to date her before, she could’ve been my girlfriend, n***a, if she wanna give you some box, that’s her box to give,” Ish said. “I can’t police that box.” Joe Budden replied: “Stop it, you better stop it. ‘Cause I’ll get that bazooka right out that closet. ‘Cause if that was the case then why would you ever be questioning me about why your ex was at my house?”

From there, things quickly escalated and the two began speaking over one another. “Now you flustered looking stupid,” Budden remarked. “It’s a dialogue. So your ex is at somebody’s house, it’s her pussy. Why you cursing and screaming? I’m your friend. I love you. I did not do that to you because I love you. Now, I can’t talk over you. Catch your breath.”

“We had a conversation on what I would and wouldn’t do,” Ish tried explaining. “Joe said, ‘I would never do X, Y and Z.’ I started laughing. It was on the podcast. So Joe like, ‘What’s so funny?’ I’m saying, ‘Yo, you would do that.’ He said, ‘No, I wouldn’t.’ I said, ‘Yes, you would.’ You had my ex in your house filling her up with hookah, you said, ‘I wouldn’t entertain a n***a’s ex.’ You not moving the goalposts today and we’re not getting into a screaming match, you all were here. Joe said, ‘I wouldn’t even talk to my man’s exes.’ I’m saying you lying because you have talked to my exes before. I didn’t say I gave a fuck, I was pointing out that you did it.” Budden clarified that he said he “wouldn’t try to fuck one of y’all exes” and that Ish was being “mad disrespectful” by implying otherwise.
