Funky Dineva Apologizes For Coming For Chloe Bailey’s Appearance, Reiterates That He Finds Her “Inauthentic”

During a recent Tea-G-I-F segment, Funky Dineva came for Chloe Bailey, and many fans felt as though he took things way too far. The Fox Soul personality was discussing some circulating rumors that the performer’s sister Halle could be pregnant. Amid the speculation, Chloe went live to defend her. “Y’all better keep my sister’s name out your mouth,” she warned viewers. “Thank you. Amen, hallelujah. ‘Bout to get me riled the hell up.”

Apparently, Chloe’s response to the gossip rubbed Funky Dineva the wrong way. He went on a tangent about how he felt her persona was fake, and included some choice words about her appearance. “Chloe Bailey is so godd*mn lame to me,” he explained. “First of all, girl, you are Miss Preppy Ashley from the suburbs. Then you came out being all promiscuous, and now you’re trying to be a gangster. None of it is f*cking believable.” He continued, “I’m probably gonna catch a lot of backlash for this, and without that makeup, she ain’t cute. She never should’ve shown up on that camera with that fat-a** face without no makeup.”

Countless viewers felt as though trashing the 25-year-old’s appearance was unnecessary, which he seems to agree with. In a new Tea-G-I-F segment, he partially apologizes for the rant. He claims to understand why so many viewers were upset by his comments, agreeing that he crossed the line when he mentioned her looks. Funky Dineva adds that he believes people were particularly offended since Chloe is believed to be “unproblematic.”

Melle Mel Says His Eminem Diss “Fell Short”

Melle Mel has spoken up after dropping his ruthlessly mocked diss track aimed at Eminem. The beef between the two MCs has been festering since March when Melle Mel said that Eminem is only as well-regarded as he is because the Detroit rapper is white. That led to a lot of backlash from a lot of industry legends. However, Mel doubled down on his comments.

Eminem stayed mostly out of the drama. That was until he dropped a bar about Mel during a feature on Ez Mil’s new single “Realest”. Mel’s response was an underwhelming and overly complex 73-second diss track. “Melle Mel, the producer , the engineer, the company that made the pen that Melle Mel wrote with, the company that made the paper he wrote this BS on, the front-desk person that let him in the studio, and what else am I missing?,” on X/Twitter used summarized the general attitude towards the “diss”. However, now Mel himself has addressed the track.

I acknowledge that my perspective was ill-conceived and I am prepared to take ownership of this oversight. It has become evident that Eminem’s dedicated and passionate fan base stands unwaveringly by his side. That is a testament to their genuine admiration and loyalty—a truly commendable aspect.”

Furthermore, he continued. “From the onset, I have consistently recognized Eminem’s exception prowess as an emcee, without reservation,” he continued. “My unfortunate choice of words, suggesting that his success is solely attributed to the color of his skin was in no way reflective of my genuine beliefs. It was an attempt, albeit misguided, to engage competitively within the emcee sphere. It is important to acknowledge that the dynamics of Hip-Hop have evolved over distinct eras. It’s inevitable that not everyone will resonate with my perspective, just as I may not fully comprehend others. Throughout my involvement in shaping the Hip-Hop landscape, the cornerstone has been built upon a foundation of mutual respect, even when personal preferences may differ.”

Tory Lanez Refuses To Apologize Amid 10-Year Prison Sentence

Tory Lanez is currently going to prison for 10 years following his conviction for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. Overall, this is a case that many were paying attention to. Unfortunately, there were quite a few people who tried to doubt Meg and her story. However, with Tory’s conviction, at least a few minds have been changed. As for Lanez, however, he is currently being roasted online for his hubris before and during the trial.

Last night, Lanez decided to speak out on his sentence for the very first time. As you can tell, he isn’t exactly in the mood to apologize. In his eyes, there still isn’t a shooting to apologize for. “I have never let a hard time intimidate me,” Tory started. “I will never never let no jail time eliminate me. Regardless of how they try to spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence and I always will. This week in court I took responsibility for all verbal and intimate moments that I shared with the parties involved. That’s it.”

He continued his statement by saying that he knows a lot about adversity and that he will not let this deter him. “In no way shape or form was I apologizing for the charges I’m being wrongfully convicted of,” he revealed. “I remain on the stance that I refuse to apologize for something that I did not do. I’ve faced adversity my whole life and every time it looked like I would lose, I came out on top. This is nothing but another moment where my back is against the wall and I refuse to stop fighting till I come out victorious. Tough times don’t last, tough people do. To my family, friends and umbrellas thank you for your continued support. See you soon.”

Ne-Yo Continues Trans Discourse With Another Statement: “I WILL NOT BE BULLIED INTO APOLOGIZING”

After Ne-Yo’s comments about young children changing their gender identity during a VladTV interview went viral, the “So Sick” hitmaker has been feeling the heat. He initially doubled down on his statement that parents should think twice about giving their young ones so much freedom in that department, but later on Monday (August 7), a formal apology appeared on Ne-Yo’s Twitter account. In that, he promised to further educate himself on the LGBTQ+ community so that he could approach future conversations with more empathy. Some were happy enough with that response, but based on his latest IG post, it seems the R&B star may not have approved of the message that went out.

“Ok. This s**t is getting out of hand. FROM THE HORSE’S MOUTH. I WILL NOT BE BULLIED INTO APOLOGIZING FOR HAVING AN OPINION. AGREEING TO DISAGREE IS NOT A DECLARATION OF WAR,” the Arkansas native wrote under a black-and-white video posted to his feed a few hours ago. He went on to apologize to anyone hurt by his own imperfections and mistakes before making it clear that he’s not willing to compromise his integrity on the topic of transgender children. “My intention is never to offend anybody…but my opinion is MINE and I’m entitled to it,” Ne-Yo declared.

Seeing as Ne-Yo is a father of seven, we can completely understand why he would want to have a say in his own children’s future. Ne-Yo Formally Apologizes For Transgender Children Hot Take

On the internet, hearing hot takes isn’t at all uncommon, but when they come from a celebrity, a debate often ensues immediately after. The latest star to cause a stir with their words is Ne-Yo, who shared during an interview with VladTV that he’s not in support of underage people changing their gender. “I feel like parents have almost forgotten what the role of a parent is,” the “So Sick” singer said at the time. “If your little boy comes to you and says ‘Daddy I wanna be a girl,’ you just let him rock with that? When did it become a good idea to let a 12-year-old make a life-changing decision for themselves?”

When backlash for those comments came rolling in, Ne-Yo doubled down on his statements, making it clear that he isn’t anti-trans. Unfortunately, that response only brought in more turmoil, resulting in the R&B icon sharing another message with fans – this time via Twitter. “After much reflection, I’d like to express my deepest apologies to anyone that I may have hurt with my comments on parenting and gender identity,” he began. “I’ve always been an advocate for love and inclusivity in the LGBTQI+ community, so I understand how my comments could’ve been interpreted as insensitive.”

Ne-Yo then went on to admit that gender identity is “nuanced,” and he plans to “better educate [himself] on the topic, so [he] can approach future conversations with more empathy. The 43-year-old wrapped up by writing, “At the end of the day, I lead with love and support everyone’s freedom of expression and pursuit of happiness.”

He may not have been fully onboard with children making the decision to transition, but one thing Ne-Yo is progressive enough for is spending time with two women at once. Jamie Foxx Apologizes For Anti-Semitic Instagram Post

Jamie Foxx received a wave of backlash to an Instagram post made on August 4. After posting “They killed this dude named Jesus…What do you think they’ll do to you???! #fakefriends #fakelove,” Foxx was accused of antisemitism. Many saw the post as Anti-Semitic as it, unintentionally or not, invoked the notion of Jewish Decide. Furthermore, Jewish Decide is the belief that the Jewish people are collectively responsible for the death of Jesus. Additionally, in the early history of Christianity, the idea was used as justification for pogroms and other acts of violence and persecution against the Jews.

While the posts were quickly deleted, Foxx didn’t immediately respond. Meanwhile, Foxx’s Horrible Bosses and Horrible Bosses 2 co-star Jennifer Anniston issued a statement after liking the post. “This makes me sick. I did not ‘like’ this post on purpose or by accident. And more importantly, I want to be clear to my friends and anyone hurt by this showing up in their feeds – I do NOT support any form of antisemitism. I truly don’t tolerate HATE of any kind. Period,” the actress wrote. Foxx has since issued his own apology.

Elliott Wilson Says He’s Apologized To Drake Over His Interview Remark

Elliott Wilson says he’s apologized to Drake for his recent criticism about the Toronto rapper and who he chooses to do interviews with. He explained that he should’ve spoken with him behind the scenes before airing out his grievance in public. Regardless of the apology, Wilson says he still agrees with what he originally said.

As for that comment, Wilson complained about Drake’s interview choices after he spoke with Bobbi Althoff, earlier this month. “Moment of clarity: No disrespect to Lil Boat,” he wrote on Twitter at the time. “Yachty’s convo with The Boy was comfy and had some cool moments. I was more so clowning the comedy shenanigans with outsiders to our culture. It would be great to hear Drake speak to us again. Even if it ain’t me.”

Drake later responded to Wilson’s criticism in a comment on Instagram. “Lol man sh*ts on not coming to his platform for a second time and now Elliott 10 does doing Yes Julz run up interviews at Rolling Loud,” Drake wrote with several emojis. “[J]ust admit the youth took over big dog.”

When Wilson’s admission of an apology made its way to 2Cool2Blog’s Instagram page, many fans took Drake’s side in the discussion. One under argued: “I’m sick of this narrative about Drake not tapping in with the culture. Did Drake not sit with this man for over 2hrs? Like what more does he want? Now Drake is supporting other platforms. His fanbase is diverse, so it is important that the platforms he appears on are diverse as well. Ne-Yo’s Ex-Girlfriend Says He’s “Hurting Deep Down Inside”

Ne-Yo’s ex-girlfriend, Sade Bagnerise, has taken to social media to share a message about the singer. She shares two children with him, Brixton and Braiden, and the message comes amid a recent custody battle over the two boys. Ne-Yo had filed for joint-custody of them last month, and she later filed a countersuit agreeing and asking for child support. Earlier this year, Ne-Yo and his former wife Crystal Renay finalized their divorce. She filed for divorce in 2022 after discovering that Ne-Yo had gotten Bagnerise pregnant.

Now, Bagnerise has revealed in an Instagram Story that she personally apologized to Renay, going on to clarify recent reports surrounding their custody battle. “I’ve privately apologized profusely to Crystal for my role, and she is such a strong, beautiful, FORGIVING woman,” she wrote, “but I spoke to a woman who was so confused and broken. BETRAYED & misunderstood.” She continued, “She is hurting and healing and as hard as he tries to play tough guy he know he’s hurting deep down inside too. He needs help (love, support). It takes a village.”

“I know y’all like to tussle in them comments,” Bagnerise says, “but just read and listen with your heart today, and not your fingers. The headline about me demanding child support was a reach, and I think y’all are hurting my baby daddy feelings, lol. He says he don’t care. But he do. We all care just a little.” Last month, it was also reported that Ne-Yo requested a paternity test to ensure that the children are his. Bagnerise claims that this was never a concern of his.

“IN FAIRNESS TO HIM,” she adds, “in that regard, he has always been physically, financially, and emotionally responsible for both Braiden and Brixton from the moment he found out about the first pregnancy. He’s never denied or questioned either child, and we have DNA tests for both. […] The man is and always has been a proud pappy. He be scandalous AF lmao but he does right by all of his kids.” According to Bagnerise, despite ongoing drama in his personal life, Ne-Yo remains a strong figure in his kids’ lives.
