GloRilla Shoots Her Shot With Rubi Rose

GloRilla just shot her shot with Rubi Rose during a recent interview with Angela Yee- at least, hypothetically. Moreover, the Memphis MC and the two podcast hosts seemed to be discussing the topic of threesomes, with Yee saying she’s never been in one. When Glo said that it would have to be two girls and a guy (but not her main), they got into more details. Furthermore, it was during that discussion that GloRilla revealed that she thinks Rose looks fine, and that the other girl would have to “look like her.”

What’s more is that Angela asked the “F.N.F.” hitmaker about what type of girl she would like in that scenario. Although it might seem like taboo to some, all voices involved spoke with respect and were just having some fun. At the moment of writing this article, DDG’s ex hasn’t responded to these comments. However, given Glo’s incredible visibility and Rubi’s prolific social media presence, a link-up wouldn’t be surprising. Still, both have a lot on their plate at the moment, and one in particular has other romantic matters to address.

GloRilla Praises Rubi Rose’s Looks

Furthermore, Rubi Rose recently got involved in dating rumors with French Montana after they were spotted grabbing dinner. Despite what some fans believed, though, the rapper and model had to dispel those rumors relatively quickly on Twitter. “Dang… i can’t go out to eat now,” she tweeted to fans after she saw a lot of speculation and buzz. While Montana himself hasn’t responded to rumors, it seems that Rose’s tweet was enough to dispel the gossip. The only thing that would make people forget it would be if they’re spotted again, and that remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, GloRilla blasted a new song from Money Man that name drops her and references her body type. “Skinny b***h inside my DMs, she remind me of GloRilla,” he rapped on the track “Saweetie” in which he also references the “ICY GRL.” Then, after fans mentioned it to her on social media, the 23-year-old responded to the mention. “Hey guys what song is this??????????? I hate it,” she tweeted. Regardless of those clapbacks, come back to HNHH for the latest on Rubi Rose and GloRilla.

“The Breakfast Club” Heads To BET For Their New Television Home Without A Third Paramount Host; Why Now?

The Breakfast Club

Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club morning radio show is officially heading to BET and VH1 in a partnership that will air the show. The timing of the move has also sparked questions considering the show didn’t have its third host. BET Networks and iHeartMedia announced a new partnership to bring the popular morning radio show […]

Angela Yee Addresses “The Breakfast Club” Comments On Her Radio Show

Angela Yee recently addressed comments she made about The Breakfast Club on her radio show Way Up. While she already responded to the backlash on Twitter, she further elaborated about them on air. Moreover, she said that she didn’t expect so many to come down her throat, as she didn’t mean to insinuate that no other women worked on the larger show. Instead, she was making a point on how she’s the only woman host on air. In fact, she said she’s made similar comments about not being able to talk to men for hours after they wrap up, but this one particularly got people fired up.

“Never blew up like this before, I guess?” she explained, adding on to her previous response. “Maybe it was the way that I said it, I’m not sure. I guess people were interpreting it to mean that I meant that there were no women working on the show, and that was not my intention. ‘Cause that’s simply not true. I was talking about in that studio, in that room. Even Sydney will tell you I’d walk out that room and be like, ‘I can’t be in here for now.’

Angela Yee Speaks Further On The Breakfast Club Comments On Her Radio Show

“And I would even say when I leave the show, I don’t even wanna talk to any guys,” Yee continued. “That’s why I had Lip Service with all women, because I was like ‘Ugh, I can’t talk to any guys for, like, two hours.’ I feel like I’ve said that on many interviews, but somehow this turned into a lot more. I was definitely surprised.” Furthermore, her surprise came at the immediate clapback from people online, such as former Breakfast Club co-host DJ Envy.

“I mean, it was her, Charlamagne and myself, so she was the only woman on air,” Envy stated. “But behind the scenes, it was so many different- I mean, our boss, the actual person that pays our bills and pays our checks and hires us is Thea Mitchem who’s a woman. I think she misspoke, I think the words were taken out of I guess technicality. I’m sure she would clean it up, but there’s a lot of women who work on that show.” Regardless of your take, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on Angela Yee.

Angela Yee Reponds To “The Breakfast Club” Backlash: “Didn’t Anticipate This Would Cause A Firestorm”

Now that it’s been a few weeks since her exit from The Breakfast Club, Angela Yee has been getting candid about the years she spent working alongside DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. “I was the only woman who worked there, too. When it came to producers, camera people – and it wasn’t an easy room for me to be in,” the media personality explained on the Tamron Hall Show earlier this week. “I feel like I did need more like backup.”

Following the 47-year-old’s interview, her former cohosts – and past guests on the radio show – were quick to chime in with their opinions. Both Erica Mena and Lil Mama had plenty to say about Yee being just as bad as her male counterparts, who have previously been known to make women cry with their comments. Additionally, the former pointed out that Angela was aware of DJ Envy’s marriage when knowingly watched the mother of three hook up with him, thinking he was single.

DJ Envy Calls Cap

For his part, the New York entertainer has markedly called cap on his former coworker’s claims. “That’s just not true,” he wrote in The Shade Room‘s Instagram comments earlier this weekend. “There are plenty of women that work behind the scenes on @breakfastclubam.” In an interview, Envy spoke further on the situation, telling the media that he believes Yee “misspoke” when discussing her time on the show.

“It was her, Charlamagne and myself, so she was the only woman on air,” he noted. “But behind the scenes, I mean, our boss – the actual person that pays our bills and pays our checks and hires us – is Thea Mitchem, who’s a woman. I think she misspoke, I think the words were taken out of I guess technicality. I’m sure she would clean it up, but there’s a lot of women who work on that show,” DJ Envy later added.

Angela Yee Addresses the Drama

Turns out his prediction was correct, as Yee used her Twitter account to address the rampantly running gossip. “Usually I don’t comment or go back and forth with people, but there’s too much spinning,” she began. “‘In the room’ referred to the people in the studio: the producer, board op, videographer, and hosts. Yes, they are men. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t amazing women who are execs, salespeople, interns, and in other departments,” the entertainer explained in a series of posts.

“I’ve said it on many occasions: that it can be hard when your viewpoint is different based on your experience,” she went on. “I didn’t anticipate that this would cause such a firestorm.” Keep scrolling to read Yee’s full explanation, and let us know if you miss hearing her on The Breakfast Club in the comments.

DJ Envy Says Angela Yee “Misspoke” In New Interview

In response to Angela Yee’s comments about being the only woman working on The Breakfast Club, former cohost DJ Envy said that she “misspoke.” However, his denial of the claim that Yee was the only woman on the show doesn’t necessarily come from a place of bad blood. Moreover, he said that when it comes to close friends, honesty is an important two-way street to maintain. Furthermore, he addressed this situation in a recent interview with the Michigan Chronicle. The interviewer asked Envy for his reaction to Angela’s comments after calling her sole woman claim cap on Instagram.

“I mean, she was,” Envy replied to the prompt that Yee was seemingly the only woman on the show. “I mean, it was her, Charlamagne and myself, so she was the only woman on air. But behind the scenes, it was so many different- I mean, our boss, the actual person that pays our bills and pays our checks and hires us is Thea Mitchem who’s a woman. I think she misspoke, I think the words were taken out of I guess technicality. I’m sure she would clean it up, but there’s a lot of women who work on that show.”

DJ Envy Believes Angela Yee Misspoke

He went on to list various female producers who worked with the crew. “There was a lot of women on that, there was a lot of diverse people on that. But I’m glad that she has her own show. She’s doing well, I’m excited for her. We come on early, she comes on right after us. I mean, it’s just like anything else. It’s no problem, it’s no beef or nothing like that. I guess her comments and the things that she said were taken out of character and taken out of what they really meant.

“Nah, I ain’t gotta clear up s**t,” he continued, responding to whether he’d clear up his relationship with Angela after his Instagram comments. “I mean, it’s what it is, it’s the truth, it’s honesty. You can be honest with all your friends, you know what I mean? It doesn’t mean I don’t like somebody or they don’t like me. You say something foul at me, I can say something foul to you back, it is what it is. Or you say something right to me, I’mma say something right to you back. Look at it like this. It’s bigger than The Breakfast Club, it’s bigger than Way Up with Yee, it’s bigger than all that. You’re talking Power 105.1, which is our home station. Sometimes, we argue with each other or we say things we don’t like, and we say it and we keep it moving.” Regardless of your take, log back into HNHH for the latest on Angela Yee, DJ Envy, and The Breakfast Club.

DJ Envy Calls Cap On Angela Yee’s “The Breakfast Club” Comments, Erica Mena & Lil Mama Join In

Angela Yee’s departure from The Breakfast Club came as a surprise to many. Still, with so many years in the industry under her belt, the media personality isn’t having a hard time staying booked and busy. Unfortunately for her, that may all be about to change thanks to comments she made on the Tamron Hall Show about her time spent working alongside DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. According to her, working in a male-dominated environment left her feeling a lack of support while doing her job.

“I was the only woman who worked there, too. When it came to producers, camera people – and it wasn’t an easy room for me to be in,” the 47-year-old vented earlier this week. “I feel like I did need more like backup you know because even things that I felt, as a woman… Somebody can’t understand your point of view because they’re not coming from where you come from. So that was hard for me too, to be the only woman there.” As footage of Yee’s interview continues to circulate, one of her former cohosts is calling cap.

DJ Envy Denies Yee’s Claims

In @theshaderoom’s comment section, DJ Envy dropped by to defend The Breakfast Club. “That’s just not true,” he wrote. “There are plenty of women that work behind the scenes on the @breakfastclubam.” Elsewhere in the same comment section, TV personality Erica Mena had a few things to say as well. “Is this the same woman who helped DJ Shrimp play along in living this double life once upon a time? One of the few at the time that actually knew the truth of him being married (because for years he never openly acknowledge that – which is why I was one of many he was with),” she began.

Afterward the mother of three accused Yee of knowingly letting her hook up with a married man, she added, “[She] still joined in with him, fabricating this cry world scenario on the radio just so he can save face in his broken marriage. The same woman that spoke about my child on air just [to] help him degrade me?! The f*cking nerve! Boy, do things come full circle!”

Erica and Lil Mama Speak Their Truth

As more receipts exposing the Lip Service hostess have been coming out, a former guest on The Breakfast Club, Lil Mama, is also speaking her truth. She was previously left in tears during her stint on the show and obviously feels as though Yee didn’t do anything to help her from feeling like the only woman in the room at that moment.

“Oh PLEASE, she was up there playing foul games too,” the “Lip Gloss” artist pointed out. “She has helped make multiple women (of colour especially) feel like the only woman in that room numerous times. #RockThrowingHandHidingBitch.” Keep scrolling to read the starlet’s comments about Angela Yee for yourself, and check back later for more pop culture news.

Angela Yee Says She Was Blamed For Things Charlamagne Tha God Did

She was once the only woman of The Breakfast Club trio, but Angela Yee has moved on. The radio and talk show host juggles several projects, including her Lip Service podcast and new venture, Way Up with Angela Yee. She was a part of The Breakfast Club for 12 years, so when she announced her departure last December, it came as a shock to fans. During her recent appearance on The Tamron Hall Show, Yee reflected on often taking heavier criticism than her male peers, Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy.

“My contract had been up in December, so I was already trying to figure out, ‘Am I staying here? Am I going somewhere else?’” said Yee. “And I just wanted to keep all of my options open. I never want to feel like I’m stuck somewhere.” She admitted that she also felt she took hits over something her cohorts did or said.

Audiences Shifted The Blame To Angela Yee

“Sometimes I would feel like I got it harder than [Charlamagne Tha God] did for some things that he said,” Yee added. “And so, I also want to make it clear that we’re all three individuals. You say what you say, feel how you feel, and I do too. But it’s hard because people affiliate you with the whole group.” This was the motivation she needed to launch a platform where she was seen as her own person.

“That was part of why I really wanted to have my own show because now what happens, I’m accountable for that. But when you have three different people with three different opinions or three different viewpoints and completely different personalities – we’re all individuals but sometimes it’s hard for people to separate that.”

‘The Breakfast Club’ Pushes Forward

The Breakfast Club has recently begun featuring weekly guest hosts to fill Yee’s spot. Charlamagne and Envy previously stated they weren’t sure if someone was coming in permanently because no one could replace Yee. However, their weekly guests have entertained fans and caused a bit of controversy. Check out more from Angela Yee on The Tamron Hall Show above.

Angela Yee Says That She Felt More Criticized Than Charlamagne Tha God While On The Breakfast Club

Angela Yee Speaks on Relationship With Charlamagne Tha God Following Gucci Mane Interview

Angela Yee departed from The Breakfast Club last year after 12 years on the legendary radio morning show. She recently opened up about her experience on the show and revealed that she felt more heavily criticized than DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God, who both are no stranger to controversy.

Yee talked about her departure from the show and being heavily criticized while being interviewed on The Tamron Hall Show. She said that her contract was up in December of last year and was trying to decide whether to stay or go somewhere else. Obviously, she picked the latter.

“My contract had been up in December, and so I was already trying to figure out, ‘Am I staying here? Am I going somewhere else?’ And I just wanted to keep all of my options open,” Yee stated. “I never want to feel like I’m stuck somewhere.”

She went on to say how at times she felt as if she was more highly scrutinized than her male counterparts on the show, particularly Charlamagne Tha God, who is known for his controversial takes and behavior.

“Sometimes I would feel like I got it harder than [Charlamagne Tha God] did for some things that he said. And so I also want to make it clear that we’re all three individuals. You say what you say, feel how you feel, and I do too. But it’s hard because people affiliate you with the whole group.”

She added: “That was part of why I really wanted to have my own show because now what happens, I’m accountable for that. But when you have three different people with three different opinions or three different viewpoints and completely different personalities – we’re all individuals but sometimes it’s hard for people to separate that.”
