Jhene Aiko Reportedly Hit With Lawsuit Over 2022 Car Crash

According to reports, Jhene Aiko is being sued by a woman who alleges that the songstress rear-ended her car in 2022. The woman, Genelle Ligot, accuses Aiko of being negligent behind the wheel, which she claims has left her with injuries and a financial burden. Ligot is seeking damages, alleging that the accident caused her “wage loss, loss of use of property, hospital and medical expenses, general damage, property damage and loss of earning capacity.” She’s additionally demanding a trial with a jury.

The suit claims that Ligot was stopped at a traffic light at the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Hayvenhurst Avenue in Encino, California in July of 2022 when the accident occurred. “Ligot was stopped at a traffic light when [Aiko] struck [her] from behind. Due to the negligent actions of [Aiko] while operating the motor vehicle, [Ligot] was injured in health, strength, and activity,” it reads.

Unfortunately, however, this isn’t the only car accident Jhene Aiko has allegedly gotten into. In 2013, she announced to fans that she and her young daughter Namiko had been in a “bad car accident.” Details of the crash remain unclear, however, she did open up about some of her injuries. She revealed that the accident left her with a broken wrist, a chipped tooth, and stitches in her chin. Luckily, Namiko was completely uninjured.

“Thank u all for the prayers . I get to go home …. It’s no secret that Suge Knight has dropped some major bombs on his prison podcast, Collect Call With Suge Knight. He’s made shocking allegations about several of his peers, involving secret beef, sexual assault, and even murder. It appears as though no person or topic is off limits for Suge, who recently took aim at late TLC member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes.

During the latest episode of Collect Call, the Death Row co-founder claimed that there was quite a bit of drama within the group. Some of which, he says, revolved around Dallas Austin. Chilli and Austin started dating in the mid-90s after the producer worked on TLC hits such as “Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg” and “Creep.” Things were pretty serious between the two hitmakers. According to Suge, however, that allegedly didn’t stop Austin from getting it on with another member of the group.

Suge alleges that Austin ended up sleeping with Left Eye despite his relationship with Chilli, and that she eventually found out. As one would expect, she was pretty upset, according to Suge. He claims that Chilli even confronted her fellow songstress about the alleged betrayal, and was provided with a cold response. “We f***ed, but you got herpes so I made him wear a rubber. We good,” Left Eye allegedly said.

While some commenters are here for the tea, others note that Chilli and Austin’s relationship has been over for quite some time, and the past is in the past. Many also argue that Left Eye should be left alone because she’s no longer around to defend herself. Tamika Mallory says brands should have the right not to work with Chris Brown due to the singer’s past sexual assault and domestic violence allegations. However, she also asked fans on social media when to forgive someone for their actions when they were younger. Brown had taken to Instagram on Friday to complain that the NBA uninvited him from the All-Star Celebrity Game due to sponsors being upset with his presence.

“I was asked by the NBA to play in the All-Star Game this year!” Brown revealed on his Instagram Story. ” Only for them to call later and say I couldn’t do it because of their sponsors like Ruffles. At this point, I’m sick of bothering me and I’m tired of living in the f*cking past. I posted the emails so y’all could see. The NBA still was tryna get me to come and sit court side… NOT F*CKING HAPPENING.”

Meek Mill Distances Himself From Vory Following Abuse Allegations: “We Cutting Ties”

Meek Mill is quickly cutting ties with Vory following the domestic abuse allegations his girlfriend made public on Wednesday. The woman posted home security videos showing a heated argument in which the rapper threatened to have her killed. Vory signed with Meek’s record label, Dream Chasers Records, in 2020.

“This guy is not a dream chaser!” Meek confirmed on Twitter. “He has a mental problem! We cutting ties we don’t care how ya music sound,…. He been ducking my calls for months telling people I’m threatening him… stopped alot of people dude he is not dreamchaser!” Vory has worked on music with Kanye West, Playboi Carti, Tory Lanez, and several more high-profile artists in recent years. His debut solo album, Lost Souls, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart.

As for the allegations, the video shown by Vory’s girlfriend features him yelling, “I’m not doing that. You don’t run this. I do, I do, I do, I do!” He also demands she give up access to the home security camera. “I will literally get you killed, for real,” he threatens. Taking to social media, she explained in a statement: “You want to paint me out to be this ‘whore’/bad person. When it’s you! I don’t want to be with you or take your Valentine’s Day gift or spend time with you as a family because of all this shit you’ve put me through for TWO years so you go on social media to tell lies and try to spread this false narrative.”

Russell Simmons Faces Rape Allegation In New Lawsuit

Russell Simmons is facing a new lawsuit from a music video producer who alleges he raped her while she worked for Def Jam Recordings in the 1990s. The Jane Dane says she traveled to Simmons’ Manhattan apartment to get his approval for a rough cut of a video when he made a “wrestling move,” to pin her down on his bed and rape her.

“Ms. Doe rejected his advance and told him to ‘get off’ and ‘stop’ several times,” the lawsuit states. “She told him she was ‘serious’ and she ‘meant it.’ But Ms. Doe was forcefully pinned, could not move under his weight and Mr. Simmons would not listen to her.”

It’s far from the first time Simmons has faced allegations of sexual misconduct. He previously stepped down from his role at Def Jam following multiple accusations in 2017. The new lawsuit uses these stories to display a pattern of behavior from Simmons. The alleged victim’s attorneys, Kenya Davis and Sigrid McCawley, also say Jane Doe’s career was thriving at the time of the assault. “She was proud of her contributions to the burgeoning musical genre of hip hop, but her hard work and her career in music was disrupted and derailed by Mr. Simmons, a rich and powerful celebrity whose wealth and influence allowed his abusive behavior to go unchallenged for decades,” they said. “Now a successful writer and producer in the entertainment industry, Jane Doe’s traumatic experiences with Simmons echo those of so many other women who he has preyed upon for decades.”

She says the assault “forever changed” her and she struggled with panic attacks and developed an eating disorder. Jane Doe soon took and quit three different jobs at production companies over a two-year period. Jonathan Majors And Meagan Good “Closer Than Ever” Despite New Allegations

Per several outlets including TMZ and PEOPLE, Jonathan Majors and Megan Good have reportedly moved in together following an LA to New York road trip with a brief Texas detour. Despite Majors’ guilty verdict in his assault trial and other news that broke about the actor this week, the couple is still “very much in love”, according to one source. The pair share a three-month-old puppy. However, this comes as more allegations break about Majors’ alleged behavior on the set of Lovecraft Country.

Meanwhile, a judge has delayed Majors’ sentencing after the actor’s legal team filed to dismiss his guilty verdict. Majors’ team argued that the actor had not been given a fair trial. The argument is based on the premise that the prosecution had portrayed the actor’s assault on his ex-girlfriend as intentional before eventually asking the jury to consider his actions “reckless”. As a result, the presiding judge has continued Majors’ case until early April.

Elsewhere, Two women, Emma Duncan and Maura Hooper, have gone public with allegations of physical and emotional abuse against Majors. Both women had their allegations referred to in a Rolling Stone exposé about Majors last year. However, the pair have since publicly reiterated their claims in an interview with The New York Times. Duncan claims that Majors “threw her across the room” and “threatened to make sure she couldn’t have children” during a fight in 2016. Meanwhile, Hooper called Majors “deeply controlling” and told her she was “not allowed to speak with anyone about the relationship”. Majors has denied the accusations. However, his attorney noted that the actor was “deeply embarrassed by some of his jealous behavior”. Both women had previously declined to speak directly to Rolling Stone, with one citing a fear of retribution.

The testimony of Duncan and Hooper follows semi-public claims from another woman, who spoke to The Cut under a pseudonym. “Anna” told the publication that she had pulled her story from the Rolling Stone article after receiving a threatening letter warning her not to go public with her allegations. According to “Anna”, the phone number included with the letter was linked to the law firm retained by Majors for his criminal trial last year. Majors’ attorney denied any involvement from her or her firm in the letter.

As the rumor began to spread around the internet, Ka’Oir hopped on her Instagram Story to shut things down. According to her, she’d never betray her husband like that, especially not with one of his friends. “Ain’t neva had no dealings with Rick Ross PERIOD!” she wrote. “Keep my name out y’all mix up! Ross & my husband are friends! WTF!!! How dare y’all!… Medication needed.”

As his alleged victims continue to come forward with their stories, Miss Jones has joined the discussion, recently sharing her own experience with Diddy on Pink Champs.

According to Miss Jones, one of her run-ins with Diddy was far from pleasant. Fortunately, however, she says that Lil Kim was there to save the day. In a clip from the episode, she recalls having him on her morning show, where she allegedly caught him threatening her. “Diddy, I don’t want you blowing up my house or my car or anything like that,” she began. “He already threatened to put me in the trunk of a car, and it’s on tape.”
