As exciting as it is to see Gunna back home after spending months behind bars awaiting his YSL RICO trial, the Atlanta native hasn’t exactly been met with welcome arms. Due to the fact that he took a plea deal, a narrative of snitching began following him everywhere. It’s even seemingly destroyed some of his closest relationships. Regardless of all of that drama, Young Thug’s dad recently made it clear that he still has plenty of love for Gunna. According to him, the DS4Ever rapper hasn’t done anything to hurt his son. Elsewhere in the world of hip-hop, SpotemGottem’s snitching allegations have caused him to miss out on some big opportunities.

Earlier this year, rumours began circulating that Lil Durk called off a collaboration with the 21-year-old. At the time, the former was hearing reports that the latter worked with authorities as an informant. Spotem had already paid him $100K at the time. The 7220 artist returned it, cancelling their joint effort even after a snippet was already previewed on social media. In a recent interview, Shawn Cotton confirmed that the gossip is true. He noted that “Durk don’t play” when it comes to snitches.

Russell Brand is currently in the news for all of the wrong reasons. In case you have not been following along, numerous women have accused him of sexual assault and grooming. Moreover, he was alleged to have had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old. He came out and preemptively denied these allegations before they were ultimately published. However, with these allegations in mind, a lot of Brand’s past comments are being put under scrutiny.

For instance, back in 2018, Brand was on a talk show in England called Loose Women. During this show, he revealed that Meghan Markle was in Get Him To The Greek and that they kissed as ordered by the script. Although Brand doesn’t remember it due to addiction issues, he says they did, indeed, share a kiss. “I didn’t know her at the time because she wasn’t married to a royal person, so I wasn’t paying attention,” Brand explained.

Meanwhile, Brand’s father recently came out in his defense given all the chatter about his personal life. “Is this seriously the most important thing happening in this world? Immigrants? Cost of living? 10s of thousands killed in Ukraine?” Ron Brand wrote on his Facebook page per Page Six. “Who is prioritising [sic] at BBC News. Who is really driving this vendetta?” Brand also claimed that all of the allegations against his son were false.

Brand has also been receiving support from the likes of Andrew Tate, which isn’t exactly the best look possible given the circumstances. Andrew Tate Appears To Call Russell Brand’s Alleged Rape Victims “Crazy B*tches”

Today, The Times dropped a hard-hitting piece about several woman who’ve come forward with allegations against comedian Russell Brand. The four individuals accuse Brand of physically, emotionally, and sexually abusing them. One of them also alleges that the abuse occurred when she was 16 and he was 31.

The outlet’s story provides detailed accounts of each woman’s experience. The piece also includes some receipts, which appear to show Brand acknowledging his abuse of at least one of the women. Obviously, things aren’t looking good for him, and the investigation is ongoing. With that being said, Andrew Tate, who’s known for his controversial stance on women’s rights, recently took to X to defend him. He described the alleged victims coming forward as a “Matrix attack,” appearing to suggest that their accusations are unfounded. This wasn’t the first time the personality compared real life to the sci-fi franchise, however, the comparison seems all the more questionable due to the nature of the allegations.

Tate went on to share a meme of a knight commencing to battle, complete with the caption “On my way to fight these crazy b*tch allegations.” Brand took to his YouTube channel ahead of The Times‘ story coming out, denying the then-unnamed allegations. He described the situation as a “coordinated attack,” claiming that all of his past sexual relationships have been consensual. “I’ve received two extremely disturbing letters, or a letter and an email,” he explained. “One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks. But amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks, are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute.”

He went on to describe himself as being “very, very promiscuous” in the past, again, insisting that his encounters have always been consensual. Brand further claimed that there are “witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives” that he says the two outlets are trying to push. Young Thug’s Father “Loves” Gunna, Claims He Hasn’t Hurt Son’s RICO Case

Young Thug remains behind bars, after being indicted on RICO charges surrounding YSL last year. The rapper is reported to not be doing great health-wise after over a year in prison, as he awaits jury selection. He was denied bond for a third time earlier this summer, and fans and peers continue to call for his release.

The indictment saw the arrest of 27 other YSL members. Gunna was arrested, and charged with conspiracy to violate the RICO act. He took an Alford plea at the end of 2022, and was eventually released from prison. His plea deal managed to stir up a lot of controversy, with many accusing him of “snitching” on his longtime friend. He’s denied this, but regardless, Young Thug fans continue to speculate. Recently, however, Young Thug’s own father came to Gunna’s defense, claiming that he didn’t do anything to hurt his case.

During a recent interview with Infamous Sylvia, Jeffery Williams Sr. made his stance on the allegations known. When asked how he feels about Gunna, he simply replied, “I love Gunna.” He continued, describing how he feels as though the rapper hasn’t said anything that could negatively impact his son. “Gunna hasn’t done anything whatsoever that can hurt us on this case. Period,” he explained. Though even Young Thug dad doesn’t think Gunna’s a “rat,” he continues to carry the unfortunate stigma.

Regardless, Gunna was sure to show love to his incarcerated friend during his first set since his own stint behind bars. He took the stage at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn earlier this month, making a call for Young Thug’s release a part of his sold-out show. Famous actor Russell Brand recently posted a video on his social media predicting allegations against him before they even surfaced. Moreover, it seems he’s been accused of sexual assault and harassment in his past by multiple women, and he called these “criminal” claims false in his statement. While he didn’t name anyone or any entity, many connected this to a Dispatched TV special airing in the United Kingdom on Saturday night (September 16). Furthermore, this will air in about three hours as of writing this article on Channel 4 (9pm local time). Now, with stories coming forward about his misconduct, this will surely impact his life and the lives of many others.

And to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal, that I absolutely deny. I don’t mind them using my books and my stand-up to talk about my promiscuous, consensual conduct in the past. What I seriously refute are these very, very, serious criminal allegations.

Russell Simmons Says He Can’t “Unlove” His Daughters Or Kimora Lee Simmons

Earlier this year, Kimora Lee Simmons took to social media, accusing her ex-husband Russell Simmons of abusing her and their daughters. “This man has been threatening my kids’ lives,” she explained, “We won’t be bullied, threatened, or afraid.” She went on to share a screen recording of him shouting at their daughter, Aoki, during a FaceTime call. They further accused him of being emotionally abusive and full of “rage.”

He later apologized for his actions on social media. “DEEPLY sorry for being frustrated and yelling,” he wrote. “But know this… there are no conditions… for sure I love you guys more than I love myself.” The music executive added, “God is testing you a little bit, it’s ok, be strong.” Now, he’s taken to the internet again to share another statement about his family. He made it clear that despite the accusations, he continues to love his daughters and his ex-wife, claiming that there’s no way for that to change.

Hitmaka Addresses Tink’s Claims

Hitmaka recently came through on Instagram Live with a response to Tink’s allegations against him. While they’re vague and unclear, they seem to revolve around a dwindling collaborative relationship soured by money talk and a physical altercation that they had in the car or in the club. In his remarks, the producer said that he’s going to “stand on being real” and won’t put any alleged footage of the incident out. “I don’t even know what that girl talking about,” he stated before saying that it’s his birthday and that she might be in Cancun. Not only that, but Berg said that he hasn’t talked to the rapper in about ten months.

Furthermore, Hitmaka said that he won’t get into details, but that he will call his lawyer because someone violated him. It’s unclear if he’s specifically accusing Tink of this, although he suggests as much by saying he has video evidence of her putting her hands on him. Still, the Chicago beatsmith said that he’s not trying to “talk down” on her and still has “mad love.” However, it’s a bit of a mixed message, as he called it a “bad move that was made by her.”

Most scandalously as of late, Alexa Nikolas of “Zoey 101” claimed that she and the Jonas brother met when they were teens. Allegedly, he still made certain advances on her despite his public-facing abstention of sexual activity he had at the time.

“I met Joe Jonas when we were teens and let’s just say he’s the guy who wore a purity ring but asked for nudes,” Alexa Nikolas tweeted. They’re now both in their 30s, and it’s unclear exactly when this supposed request happened. Still, it contrasts with the public image Joe Jonas and his brothers had, as they all wore purity rings when they blew up until 2013. It’s an aspect of the band that was a big talking point for fans and spectators, even though Joe later admitted that he lost his virginity before they publicly put the rings away.

A letter handwritten by 1090 Jake from his time behind bars went public, leading many to believe that he told on a fellow inmate. He’s since denied this, emphasizing that a complaint is different than snitching. He also went live with Riem for No Jumper, claiming that he broke down the situation in a YouTube video years ago.

“This ain’t no new story,” he said on Live. Despite his claims, he’s continued to be hit with an endless amount of criticism online. This is mainly due to the fact that he’s “exposed” so many others for their “rat” behavior in the past. Meanwhile, I just got DMs from a person with docs where [1090 Jake] gave a SWORN statement as a witness in a shooting and gave a statement to police about other ind.s.”

Earlier this week, a handwritten letter penned by the internet personality while he was behind bars was uncovered. The letter details a prison altercation, and some believe it appears to showcase him telling on his fellow inmate.

Amid the allegations, 1090 Jake went live with No Jumper‘s Riem to defend himself. He explained that he broke down the situation in a YouTube video years ago, adding that he had watched an inmate get beat up by officers in prison.
“This ain’t no new story,” he claims.
