Floyd Mayweather Shows Love For NBA YoungBoy

Floyd Mayweather has opened up about the positive relationship he has with NBA YoungBoy. “Me and NBA YoungBoy speak on a regular, speak on the daily. I’m very happy for his career, proud of him. And eventually, he’s gonna grow like anybody that’s young. When I was young, I visualized and seen things a certain way. But as you get older, you look at things totally different. We talk about investments and just growth. Buying land,” Mayweather told The Pivot Podcast.

Furthermore, it’s not the first time that Mayweather has spoken positively about the father of his grandchild. “I’m proud of him — a very, very talented young kid. One of the biggest artists as far as in music. He’s got a cult-like following. I look at him just like one of my sons. I only want the best for him. I don’t want him to have beef with anyone. These kids beefing nowadays and don’t even know what they beefing for. So much talent. See what happens to these young kids, they dying on the regular — Pop Smoke. Just so many young rappers and young entertainers, period. I feel like NBA YoungBoy went away for a while — I like to say went to college for a little bit — but he’s back and I’m proud of him,” Mayweather told the podcast in 2022.

Floyd Mayweather Receives “Champion Of Israel” Award

Meanwhile, late last year, Mayweather received the “Champion of Israel” Award for his contribution to Israeli relief efforts following an incursion into southern Israel by Hamas on October 7. The award, presented to Mayweather at a ceremony in Miami, was backed by Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency service. The ceremony also served as a fundraising, with over $4 million reportedly raised to further Israeli relief efforts. Mayweather received the award from two close friends who have worked with him on his efforts to help Israel.

Mayweather’s primary contribution to the state of Israel was a supply drop made by his private jet. In mid-October, Mayweather’s jet brought 5000 lbs of supplies to Israel, carrying everything from food to flak jackets. Furthermore, Mayweather has been vocally supportive of Israel on social media and participated in several pro-Israel marches in the United States.

Floyd Mayweather Refuses To Condemn Diddy: “Mistakes Happen”

Floyd Mayweather says he won’t condemn Diddy because he’s “still a Black man” and “mistakes happen.” He discussed the numerous sexual assault allegations against the Bad Boy mogul during a recent interview on The Pivot Podcast.

“I’m not gonna speak bad about P. Diddy because he’s still a Black man,” he said. “Mistakes happen. I can’t say if it is or if it’s not a mistake, but things happen in life. P. Diddy’s business is P. Diddy’s business. It’s not my job or anyone else’s job to go on the internet and stomp him and kick a man when he’s down. My take on it is it’s not my business. I don’t think it’s right at all and I don’t condone it.”

Mayweather concluded: “Even if that happened to my daughter, I would be hurt, but that’s the choice that my daughter made. So, I don’t wanna kick nobody while they’re down.” The firestorm of allegations against Diddy began back in November when Cassie came forward with a lawsuit against him. While the two agreed on a settlement, several more alleged victims went public afterward. “Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” Diddy wrote on Instagram in response. “Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

Joe Budden Accuses Logic Of Lying About Being Suicidal

Joe Budden and Logic have had a well-known feud for some time. Although Logic tends to forgive and forget, Budden is someone who will continue to send shots if he feels it necessary to do so. Well, over the years, Budden has taken aim at Logic countless times. He even once told the rapper he was the worst of all time and that he should retire immediately. Overall, these harsh comments have added up, and now, Budden is getting to a much harsher place.

The retired rapper turned podcaster was recently on The Pivot Podcast where he got to speak to Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor. The conversation lasted about an hour, however, at one point, they talked Logic. Logic had previously said that Joe’s comments made him suicidal at times. When this got brought up, Budden didn’t react too kindly. In fact, he accused the artist of lying. It is a pretty massive accusation, although Budden did it so flippantly.

Joe Budden Speaks

“Logic is full of s***. I don’t believe him,” Budden said. “You can’t know and you can’t prove it. But Logic is full of s***… Logic put out a song with mental health as the phone number – 1-800-whatever-the-f***-that-s***-was. Pandering b*llsh*t. Everything about Logic is pandery. So there’s really no way to ever tell what’s truthful and what’s not truthful. And since he said [he experienced suicidal thoughts] I try to take him off my list of people to speak about because I do have a heart. But I do think he’s full of s***.” Whether or not Logic responds, remains to be seen. Regardless, this is a pretty low blow, even for Budden’s standards.

With Joe going after Logic again, give us your thoughts on this feud, in the comments section below. Did he go too far this time? Should Logic fire back or just ignore this? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on your favorite artists and their upcoming releases.

You were there every step of the way with me, brother,” he said. “Washing my son’s body, the hardest s**t I ever had to do in my f**king life. Lil Wayne Speaks On Whether He’ll Drop A “No Ceilings” Tape Again

Lil Wayne has one of the most legendary mixtape runs of all time, whether you’re looking at Da Drought series, the Sorry 4 The Wait tapes, his classic Dedication projects, or the No Ceilings installments. However, the game is very different to what it was when he exploded onto the scene. As such, the New Orleans legend thinks very differently about the process of dropping mixtapes these days- and their viability as a whole. While on The Pivot Podcast, Weezy answered whether he’d be down to drop another tape in the No Ceilings series, which featured popular rap instrumentals of the time behind his bars. To put it bluntly, it seems unlikely, but his explanation paints a much more complex picture.

The times changed,” Lil Wayne remarked to the hosts when asked about No Ceilings. “So what happened is, back then, I could do that. Nowadays, if I do that, the times have changed so much to where nothing is official as far as [dropping] an official album. They don’t do that. What happened is, as soon as we put that out, Drama might put [on] a whole event, it’s gon’ go down. As soon as it drop, those artists are calling our people like, ‘Aye, we want that to be a single.’

Lil Wayne Responds To Question About No Ceilings‘ Next Installment

“Yeah, and ‘We don’t need no date,’” Lil Wayne continued. “They about to pull that off, pay how much you want to pay for it, boom, that’s the original new verse. Ain’t no such thing as a remix no more, so that’s all it really is. That’s their new single, we [might] shoot a video and everything. And that’s what takes the allure of what I was doing.”

Of course, considering the sample-based concepts of many of his mixtapes, it’s understandable why the Young Money boss’ elevated status makes that run a bit tougher. The times have changed indeed, and an artist of Wayne’s caliber isn’t expected to forego commercial opportunities for the sake of releasing music. That being said, with a Benny The Butcher collab on the horizon, there will surely be no shortage of excellent verses from Tunechi. On that note, keep checking in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Lil Wayne.

Lil Wayne Says JAY-Z Inspired Him To Stop Writing His Lyrics

Lil Wayne says that he chose to stop writing down his lyrics after he learned that JAY-Z had done the same. He recalled the decision during a recent interview on The Pivot podcast.

“The moment I heard it, I stopped. You can ask them,” Wayne said, confirming the last time he ever wrote down his lyrics. The remark brought with it jokes from fans on social media. One Instagram user commented: “Sounds about right… Music been trash since 2008.” Another wrote: “The amount of terrible rap we’ve gotten since this became public knowledge is ridiculous i directly correlate this thinking to the decline of hip-hop.”

JAY-Z actually joked about inspiring “a generation of bad writers” during an interview with MTV News regarding his process back in 2007. Despite choosing not to write, he still revealed that he had recently advised one of his nephews to write as much as possible, explaining that he had simply gotten in the habit of not writing. “My process is different now,” he said at the time. “It sounds great on paper, like ‘I’mma sit down, I’m going to write the entire album like I did before.’ But once you get back in the studio and you’ve been doing this process for years and years now, so it just felt natural to do it the way I’ve been doing it: no paper, no pen, just listen to the music.”

It’s not the first time Wayne has revealed that he followed suit in JAY-Z’s technique. He also discussed the decision during an interview on the I Am Athlete podcast last year. He said at the time: “At like 16 or 17, I made a choice that I’m about to stop writing. Like, I’m about to stop writing my sh*t out. I had too many [thoughts coming at once]… that’s when that really started happening. I told you, I deal with that… the words keep popping up in my damn head, and that’s when it really started happening, becoming a headache, a real problem. That’s when I said, I’m not about to write no more.”

Channing Crowder Reveals Surprising Sexual Roleplay

Channing Crowder has been out of the NFL for over a decade. The former Gator and Dolphin recorded nearly 500 tackles at the professional level before retiring in 2011. Since then he’s pursued other ventures such as broadcasting and podcasting. He currently hosts The Pivot podcast alongside Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark.

Crowder, along with his wife Aja, briefly appeared on the VH1 show Baller Wives. Professionally, Aja works as a high-end real estate broker. However, on a recent episode of The Pivot, Channing an intimate insight into some of the things that the power couple gets up to behind closed doors. Specifically, what gets them going in the bedroom.

Channing Crowder Is A Cat-Roleplaying Submissive

On The Pivot podcast, Crowder got into the details of a sexual roleplay he conducts with his wife. In Crowder’s words, “me and my wife play sex games where I’m a cat. I can write you a list, but I’m a cat with my wife, and then I’m on the back porch.” He goes on to explain his wife is “the old woman who loves cats” and he pretends to be a stray who she lets into the house. According to Crowder, he really commits to the roleplay, actually going out onto the back porch and moving around on all fours. However, he does clarify that he loses the cat persona on he “starts dropping dick.”

While some may see Crowder’s story as TMI, it can also be seen as a shining example of sex positivity. Crowder is not ashamed of his kink, nor the consensual activities he engages in with his wife. Furthermore, when asked what he finds sexy about it, he simply responded that it’s because, in that situation, “I’m the inferior and she’s the superior.” Crowder is a Submissive and proud of it. It’s a complete subversion of the general perception people typically have of NFL players and it’s heart-warming to see a man so eagerly embracing the sexual Submissive role. While some people may be shocked or disgusted by Crowder’s story, if it works for him and his wife, that’s what matters at the end of the day.

Kwame Brown Claims He Would Take His Career Over LeBron’s

Kwame Brown is someone who has been roasted quite a bit over the last two decades. As a number one overall pick, he came into the NBA with a ton of weight on his shoulders. Additionally, he was taken by Michael Jordan, which made things harder.

In the end, Brown had a lengthy NBA career, although he was never the star that people hoped he would be. For people like Stephen A. Smith, he has become a punchline and it is going to be difficult for that to ever change. Regardless, Brown seems comfortable in his own skin.

Kwame Brown Speaks

Recently, Kwame Brown was on The Pivot Podcast where he spoke at length about his NBA career. He received some fairly tough questions throughout the interview, however, he handled them very well. He even made some eye-opening comments about his career and how he is compared to someone like LeBron James.

“Being a bust is better,” he said. “LeBron can’t do what I can do.” Some might find this comment to be egregious, although it is important to understand the point that is being made here. As a result of his fame and success, LeBron cannot live like a regular person. However, Brown can leave his house as he pleases while enjoying some sort of normality.

Despite this, many fans will still clown Brown for the statement. At the end of the day, it’s all about what you prioritize in life. Clearly, Brown feels comfortable with where he is, and he would not trade it for the world.

Let us know what you think of Brown’s take, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from the sports world.

Kwame Brown Rips Gilbert Arenas For Being A “Coward”

Kwame Brown is someone who has been made the butt of the joke by many NBA fans. One can just go on YouTube and find Stephen A. Smith’s infamous rant in which he called Brown a “bonafide scrub.” Not to mention, as a former first-overall pick, there were certain expectations that were thrust onto Brown.

Subsequently, Brown has started to speak out against those who have disparaged him. Throughout 2021, Brown made numerous videos in which he took shots at Stephen A., Matt Barnes, Charlamagne Tha God, and a whole host of others. He even had a very public feud with his former teammate, Gilbert Arenas.

Kwame Brown Speaks

Recently, Brown was on The Pivot Podcast where he got to speak in-depth about his career and the various hardships he faced. The interview is incredibly raw and he portrays Brown as someone who is confident in himself. Kwame had a lot of interesting things to say, and overall, it was an interesting listen.

Brown also addressed his feud with Arenas, noting that he has very little respect for the man. Simply, Brown did not appreciate some of the threats he made throughout their back and forth.

“I don’t wanna talk about that guy, after he mentioned putting a pistol to my throat…He’s definitely what’s wrong with our community, because he’s a coward…Do you think Gilbert Arenas would say that about J.J. Redick?” Brown asked.

Brown makes a good point, and it’s clear that some of the comments Arenas made bothered him greatly. To that point, Brown explained how analysts need to watch how they talk about players. For instance, calling someone a “scrub” or a “bust” can affect fan perception to the point where they don’t want to accept community outreach from them. It’s a poignant concept to think about, and we’re sure his words will make fans think a little bit harder about how narratives affect these players in real life.

Let us know what you thought of Brown’s remarks, in the comments below. Moreover, you can watch the entire Pivot Podcast interview, down below.
