Adam22 recently sparked a debate in the hip-hop world as it pertains to rap media and who is at the top. Overall, Adam believes that himself, DJ Akademiks, and Vlad TV are the Big Three platforms. Moreover, he made this declaration while also taking a shot at Joe Budden, who probably has the biggest hip-hop platform in the world right now. Having said that, Budden decided to clap back, and it led to a bit of an internet exchange from all parties. As for the fans, they seem to be on Joe’s side with this one.

In a recent episode of the Joe Budden Podcast, co-host Ish noted that when it comes to opinions on the hot topics in hip-hop, Adam22’s opinion is practically “irrelevant.” He feels as though no one really goes to Adam for his opinion. Moreover, he has the exact same thought when it comes to the likes of Vlad. This take from Ish ended up making the rounds on social media, and it led to Adam himself seeing it. This led to a pretty rough response, in which he declared Ish an irrelevant member of the podcast.

“Ish ain’t even top 3 on that couch,” Adam said. Ish has been a member of the podcast ever since Rory & Mal moved on a few years ago. Interestingly enough, Ish actually gave Rory & Mal some flowers, noting that their opinions hold more weight than Adam’s. Needless to say, it feels as though the podcast wars are in full swing right now. However, fans are going to side with the creators they already like. At the end of the day, this is all subjective.

It goes without saying that the release of Future and Metro Boomin’s track with Kendrick Lamar, “Like That,” has sparked a lot of controversy. On his verse, Kendrick took aim at both Drake and J. Cole, which has since resulted in response disses from both of them. Almost everyone has chimed in on the matter at this point, including No Jumper‘s Adam22, albeit in his own way.

Today, the podcaster took to Twitter/X to announce that he’s got something incredibly valuable in his possession. It’s to be noted, however, that it’s unclear whether or not it actually exists. According to him, it’s Kanye West’s remix of “Like That,” which he also says he’s been “forbidden” to leak. Check out his Tweet below.

Adam22 Claims He’s Been “Forbidden” To Leak Alleged Remix

“I have the Kanye ‘like that’ remix,” he wrote simply. “I have been forbidden to leak it at this time.” While plenty of commenters are calling cap on Adam’s claim, others think he might be telling the truth, and are urging him to drop it. Only time will tell whether or not he’s being honest, or just messing with his followers amid the viral feud the song sparked.

This isn’t the only time Adam22 inserted himself into the debacle, however. He also entered the chat about the real “big three” rappers prompted by Kendrick’s “it’s just big me” claim, revealing who he believes are the big three of hip-hop media. Consequently, he could probably tell you who his favorite personalities are, right off the top of his head.

In fact, the Big Three of hip-hop media has become a discussion point thanks to Adam22. Recently, he said that the Big Three is himself, DJ Vlad, and DJ Akademiks. He even dissed Joe Budden in the process, which led to an interesting reply from the man himself. Since then, Adam has asked Drake to get in on the fun. While speaking on a recent podcast, Adam says Drake told him who his Big Three is, or at least he implied it. Adam 22 Doubles Down On Joe Budden Criticism After “Big 3” Comments

While rap music itself has dealt with a series of massive beefs throughout 2024 so far, the media surrounding the genre is also in the midst of a major confrontation. It began when Adam22 claimed that there was a “big three” in rap media including him, DJ Akademiks, and Vlad. His comments mirroring Kendrick’s recent dismantling of the “big three” narrative surrounding him, Drake, and J. Cole probably wasn’t a coincidence. In his comments he also took shots at Joe Budden by downplaying his influence over the rap scene.

In the days following the claim DJ Akademiks agreed with Adam22. He tried to draw a line between the daily streamers and Budden, who only hosts a podcast. Budden clapped back at him poking fun at the very idea that there was a “big three” in rap media in the first place. Now Adam shared a response to that post via Twitter. “Joe Budden checked Socialblade, realized he’s not in the top 3 and deleted this. Sad day for the Joe Budden fans. Your leader does not stand on business,” his tweet reads. Their beef doesn’t appear like it will be slowing down anytime soon. Adam22 is furious with Joe Budden and thinks that No Jumper, VladTV, and DJ Akademiks are the three biggest hip-hop outlets. In a video on No Jumper’s social media pages, he compared the views for both his pages and Budden’s.

Adam began by claiming that someone sent him a clip of Budden remarking that No Jumper is in bad shape. “Let’s do the science,” he responded. “Joe Budden’s channel has gotten 12 million views in the past month. No Jumper’s main channel plus our clips channel has done about 26 or 27 million views for the past month. So, we are two times, by far, what you have going on. And on top of that, we kill it on Facebook. We kill it on Snapchat. We have 3 million followers on Instagram and we make a huge amount of money on there.”

Adam22 Meets Up With Drake In Los Angeles

From there, Adam added: “Joe Budden, I don’t wanna hear sh*t. You’re running a chop shop. You might have the whole hip-hop media gassed into thinking that you’re really killing it like that but trust me, when you wanna talk about who’s really doing business out here, it’s not you. There’s a big three and you’re not in it. It’s me, Vlad, and that fat motherf*cker you were sitting with.” Despite posting it on No Jumper, many of the fans in the comments section disagreed with Adam. “No jumper had potential to be the top but y’all cover more LA gang bangin and p**n than hiphop,” one top comment reads. Adam was one of the first to interview XXXTentacion, and even now, that interview is still watched by many. These days, Adam mostly engages in antics, such as his most recent April Fools prank.

As you can see down below, he set up an elongated prank in which he would surround himself with a gay pornstar. This would make people think he is gay. Then, on April Fools Day, he revealed that he would be starring in his first gay porn scene. “I’m proud to announce my first ever gay scene!” Adam22 wrote. “For many years I have dreamed of what it would be like to shoot with one of the bros and I decided to stop holding back and live my truth! Following the prank, fans were not amused on social media. Many said it was all in poor taste. Orlando Brown Claims Meek Mill Is A “Gay Rapper” Following Diddy Lawsuit

Orlando Brown says Meek Mill and Diddy are “gay rappers.” He discussed the recent house raids on Diddy’s properties as well as the rumors stemming from Lil Rod’s lawsuit against the Bad Boy mogul during an interview with No Jumper.

“Why would they not have sex when they’re gay rappers?” Brown began, when asked about Diddy and Meek. “We all know he’s gay. Rick Ross knows he’s gay.” When asked whether he thinks Ross would knowingly sign a gay rapper, Brown reiterated: “Rick Ross knows he’s gay is what I said. He paid me $2,000 to say that right? You only paid me $2,000.” From there, Adam22 denied paying Brown to claim Meek Mill is gay. Elsewhere in the interview, Brown voiced his support for Diddy. “Everybody knows I got respect for Diddy,” Brown told the host. “I love Diddy. Everybody tried to come at Diddy. Why I’m gonna make it harder for my man? Yo, I love my man [Diddy].”

As for the house raids, Homeland Security agents descended upon Diddy’s properties, last week, although no arrests were made.
