Given that Drake is going to release For All The Dogs presumably soon, any movement from him is inspiring frantic excitement. However, sometimes that can be purely speculative and unverified information, but since when has that ever stopped rumors from floating around? Moreover, a fan allegedly caught the 6 God and his pal Lil Yachty filming a music video for an upcoming song. You can’t tell if they’re really them in the video, but the song definitely sounds like the Toronto MC’s voice and style. What’s more is that, at the start of the clip below, you can hear a bar that shouts out none other than A$AP Rocky.

“I ain’t pretty Flacko b***h, this s**t get really Rocky,” Drake raps in the alleged snippet of his rumored upcoming Yachty collab. Maybe this doesn’t end up panning out, but it’s still a wild encounter to witness. While Drizzy and ASAP Rocky have always shown each other love, it’s actually been a while since they last teamed up on wax. Fans probably remember their hit “F**kin’ Problems” with Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz, for example.

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna recently welcomed their second child, another son, into the world, and fans are already speculating on the little one’s name. If you recall, it took general audiences a full year to find out their first kid’s name, honoring the Wu-Tang legend RZA. However, at least from what a TMZ paparazzi captured, it seems like we might not have to wait that long to find out baby number two’s name. Moreover, the pap caught up with him on a night out in West Hollywood on Wednesday (August 23) and asked him for his new bundle of joy’s name. The New York MC simply replied with “Coming soon!” with a wide smile, so maybe they’re taking a different approach to reveals this time around.

Furthermore, at least we already know of a certain pattern that the family seems to follow. ASAP Rocky’s real name is Rakim, a tribute to the pioneering hip-hop icon, and Rihanna’s real name is Robyn. RZA is also named after a genre star and starts with “R,” so people took to social media to speculate and try to guess what the next one could be. Reggie for Redman, perhaps, or Rick of Slick fame… never before have people been so dead-set on scrolling through a “rappers whose names start with ‘R’” list.

Regardless of that speculation, there’s still plenty of rumors and reports to chew on besides the baby’s name. For example, a new PEOPLE report suggested that, according to an alleged insider, Rihanna feels her family is “complete” after her second child’s birth. Her and Rocky must be so busy with their careers and endeavors, and that might influence that feeling of satisfaction with two young kids on your hands. Still, the couple hasn’t shared anything about their little miracle yet, so any comments on it are purely speculative at this point.

Meanwhile, with both looking forward to album releases (hopefully dropping soon), we’ll see how parenthood impacts their lyricism and style. The A$AP Mob spitter is closer to that finish line than RiRi is, at least as of writing this article, but things could change quite fast. Black Thought Gives A Shoutout To A$AP Rocky’s Debut Album

Many publications are rolling out content all year celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop and Pitchfork is no different. The publication teamed up with legendary rapper Black Thought from The Roots to discuss hip-hop albums that inspired him. After identifying some certified classics like The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill and Outkast’s Speakerboxxx / The Love Below he shouted out a more recent project from A$AP Rocky. “This album ushered in a new era of New York hip-hop. It’s so braggadocious, it’s so macho, it’s so Harlem,” Black Thought said of Rocky’s 2013 album LongLiveA$AP. It wasn’t the only praise he had for the project either.

Thought elaborated on his love for the album. “It’s also genre-transcendent. He was able to blur the line between the New York hip-hop aesthetic—which was trending less at the time—and the aesthetic that was beginning to trend more: classic UGK, 8Ball, and MJG. He was the bridge between dope and trill in a way that was very necessary.” The rapper also dug into many of the reasons he sees parallels between himself and Rocky. “I see elements of myself in A$AP Rocky, and later on I’d find out we share a birthday. He’s named after Rakim, who’s a huge influence of mine. He’s mellow. But he’s also one of those people I admire for his ability to continue to innovate.”

Black Thought himself has been an influential force in rap for decades and that hasn’t slowed down in recent years. Earlier this year he teamed up with El Michels Affair for a critically acclaimed new collaborative album Glorious Game. The album features KIRBY, Son Little, and Brainstory.

That album served as a follow-up to another acclaimed collaboration last year. Black Thought teamed up with Danger Mouse on an album called Cheat Codes that managed to really live up to its name. Congratulatory messages and celebratory posts flooded social media, although it’s understandable why the celebrity couple would want to maintain their privacy during this time. Regardless of those wishes, we’re now getting the first wave of alleged reports concerning this birth.

For example, a source who claimed have insight into the family told PEOPLE of the Barbadian superstar’s alleged remarks about her new baby boy. “Rihanna feels her family is now complete… it’s something she’s always wanted,” they told the news outlet. It’s now been several weeks since we’ve seen Rihanna serving up salacious maternity style around the world, leading many to assume she’s given birth to her and ASAP Rocky’s second child together. Earlier in August, reports claimed that the Barbadian vocalist welcomed a little girl, making her the matriarch of a family of four. Nothing has officially confirmed that news, though on Monday (August 21), TMZ announced that RiRi did give birth on August 3, however, the reported gender wasn’t accurate.

Rather, she and Rocky are the proud parents of two little boys. It’s unclear what they’ve named RZA’s little brother, though the outlet says they’ve decided on a moniker that begins with R. Seeing as their born names are Robyn and Rakim, it only feels fitting that their offspring would continue on with the tradition. The little one arrived in Los Angeles, and from what we know so far, he’s healthy and happy as can be, just like his sibling.
