“In life,” says Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who just released his novel The Accomplice, “you don’t get a second chance at a first impression. I think my first impression was big enough. I had the largest debut hip-hop album in history as I came in.”

Also sharing this little nugget from the 50 Cent Haute Living Cover Story about Eminem’s daughter’s wedding. If used, must link back to cover story.

On attending Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade’s wedding: “It was unbelievable, the wildest thing for me, period. I was like, ‘Yo, bro, this is crazy. We’re getting old. Your baby is grown. What the fuck is going on?’ I was having a moment myself over there. I told Em, ‘You said it was OK to cry, because I’m crying.’ I couldn’t believe it went that fast.”“

I wish I had a daughter. I wish I had that [father-daughter] relationship. For female children, their dad is the first man they fall in love with. Male children go to their mom; I’m a mama’s boy myself.”

50 Cent Requests To Drop His Defamation Lawsuit Against Daphne Joy Over Her Rape Accusations

50 Cent has filed a motion to dismiss his defamation case against his ex, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Back in March, 50 Cent was accused of rape on Instagram by Daphne Joy Narvaez, the mother of his 12-year-old second son, Sire Jackson. In the post, she wrote, “Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on.” Shortly thereafter, 50 filed a lawsuit for defamation against Narvaez, claiming that she made up the accusations to prevent him from seeking sole custody of Sire, and to distract from her involvement in separate legal dramas surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was accused of sexual assault by a former producer.

50 did not give reason for his request to have the suit dismissed, only that it be withdrawn “without prejudice,” which would allow him to file again at a later date. Neither 50 nor Daphne responded to the Times’ request for comment. Before moving to dismiss the case, 50 demanded $1 million in damages and the removal of the damaging posts; Narvaez has already deleted the posts, although she said she would secure representation to handle the allegations made about her in Lil Rod’s suit against Diddy.

Has Prince Of The Supreme Team Been Released From Federal Prison?

Rumors have been circulating since Showtime’s release of The Supreme Team series last year, which was narrated by Nas, that Gerald “Prince” Miller, one of the leaders of 80s Queens drug ring known as the Supreme Team(not to be confused with the pioneer rap group The World Famous Supreme Team), would be released sometime in the near future. Now, according to several reliable sources, that day has come.

According to Instagrm page @meccapolis, the lieutenant and nephew to notorious drug kingpin Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff is scheduled to be released today(September 11) from USP Big Sandy in Kentucky. TheSource.com has also obtained a text message between Miller’s wife and brother confirming his release this week.

1

For those who don’t know, Prince was one of the people name dropped in 50 Cent’s infamous 2002 hit “Ghetto Qur’an(Forgive Me)” in the first bars of the first verse where he rapped, “Yo, when you hear talk of the Southside, you hear talk of the Team/ See niggas feared Prince and respected ‘Preme/ For all you slow motherfuckers, I’ma break it down iller/ See Preme was the business man and Prince was the killer..”

It is also well known that the auto-bio story told by Fif in the silver screen classic Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ was based on the conflict between him and Prince’s uncle Supreme, who is a known associate of Irv Gotti and the Murder Inc. organization.

Miller has served 32 years in a federal prison for his role in the drug organization that was rumored to have netted up to $200,000 a day. Miller was originally sentenced to life without parole in 1992, but word on the street is that a new bill was passed into law in recent weeks that allows any federal inmate over 55 years of age that has been convicted of a non-violent crime is now eligible for parole.

50 Cent Has Ruthless Comeback For Hurricane Chris After Boldly Claiming He’s The Better Rapper

In mid-August, 50 Cent and Louisiana native Hurricane Chris were trading shots thanks to the latter kicking things off. At the start of last month, the G-Unit head honcho put together the Humor & Harmony Weekend festival and spent a whopping $500,000 on security. Chris was not a fan of the budgeting and publicly called out Fif online. “That money could’ve went to help the motherf***ing youth. We don’t need more money invested into the police”. After going back and forth for a couple of days, Chris said that they smoothed things out. However, just two days ago, he decided to restart their beef for some reason.

This time, he proudly stated that he is the better artist at this point in his career and would outperform him. “You cannot out rap me. You do not make better music than me right now. Song making, he don’t make better songs than me. If 50 was to make a song right now and I make a song right now I’mma smash that s***. I make music way better than 50 Cent. I know it’s a fact”. When you call out the “Candy Shop” MC like that it’s eventually going to get back to him. This case is no exception to the rule, and 50 had quite the rebuttal for Chris.

He reshared a clip from that same Vlad TV interview when he was talking about Louisiana’s lackluster educational system. In that segment, Chris pronounced “educational” incorrectly and that was all the ammo that 50 needed to disprove any of the former’s claims. “🤨 this is what happens when the edunacational system fails you 🤷🏾‍♂️ IN THE 50 states of America. 🇺🇸 LOL”, he expertly quipped. Chris replied in the comments with some laughing emojis and claimed that he was talking too fast. He also said that, “I corrected it yu looping the video with them good editors”.

Later, Chris would respond with an old clip in which 50 states that he’s a fan of 6ix9ine and Soulja Boy. He captioned the video, “🍭 🍭 🍭 I write 16s u like 16s 😂😂😂😂”. Fans are siding with 50 on this one and letting Chris know that he messed with the wrong guy. What are your thoughts on 50 Cent’s clap back after Hurricane Chris claimed he was the better rapper? 50 Cent Drops Defamation Lawsuit Against Ex Despite Abuse Allegations

50 Cent may have plenty of jokes for Diddy, but the rapper has had legal issues of his own in 2024. He was accused of rape and physical abuse by his ex-girlfriend, Daphne Joy Narvaez, back in March. 50 Cent responded by filing a defamation lawsuit against Narvaez, in addition to denying all claims outright. The defamation suit has lasted throughout the summer, but the rapper has decided to pull the plug on the whole thing. According to TMZ, 50 Cent is dropping the defamation suit against his ex.

This is a complete turnaround from the 50 Cent who adamantly denied Narvaez’s accusations in March. The rapper issued a statement criticizing his ex for besmirching his reputation in a way that could impact his livelihood, and consequently, their shared child. 50 described Narvaez’s accusations as a “purposeful attempt to destroy his personal and business reputation.” He also felt as though his ex was trying to ruin the custody battle the two were embroiled in at the time. 50 voiced a concern over being unable to see his “minor son” due to Narvaez’s “false” claims.

The decision was confirmed on September 10. TMZ obtained legal documents in which 50 Cent asked the defamation suit to be dismissed “without prejudice.” A judge has reportedly yet to sign off on the request, but there’s no outstanding legal reason why there would be a problem. Neither 50 nor Daphne Joy Narvaez have commented on this latest decision. In fact, both parties have gone out of their way to avoid the topic in recent months. Daphne Joy Narvaez deleted the original Instagram post accusing 50 Cent of abuse back in July. 50 seemingly returned the favor by refusing to pursue legal action.

The defamation lawsuit is settled. The custody battle between 50 Cent and Daphne Joy Narvaez, however, is not. 50 is seeking sole custody of their son, Sire, due to claims made about Narvaez in a lawsuit against Diddy. The ongoing lawsuit, filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, claimed that Daphne Joy Narvaez spent time as a sex worker for Diddy. 50 wants sole custody as a means of keeping his son protected. Given what has come to light about Diddy, the concern is understandable.

Nicki Minaj Blasted Jay-Z For Allowing His ‘Hatred’ To Block Lil Wayne From Being The Super Bowl 2025 Halftime Show Headliner

The blowback from next year’s Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show headliner selection is still breezing through hip-hop. Yesterday (September 8), Kendrick Lamar announced that he would do the honors in 2025. While Jay-Z and Rihanna showed their support, others let their disapproval be heard loud and clear.

Today (September 9), no one’s objection was louder than Nicki Minaj. In a series of post on X (formerly Twitter), Nicki accused Jay-Z of allowing his “hatred” of Drake and Birdman to overshadow what would have been a monumental moment for Lil Wayne given the championship game his heading to New Orleans.

“One n**** took a knee,” she wrote. “The other n**** took the bag. He gon get you “n*****s” in line every f*cking time.”

Nicki’s lines were stark comparisons of Colin Kaepernick and Jay-Z’s reactions to the NFL protest.

Her rant didn’t stop there. “Got everything in the world,” she wrote. “Still spiteful & evil. Disgusting. Be happy Abeg. Go be f*cking happy n****. In rap business. In women business. When you got the politicians & the police, you good tho.”

Then Nick went on to highlight how Eminem handled 50 Cent reportedly being barred from the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show stage. “Denying a young black man what he rightfully put into this game for no other reason but your ego,” she wrote. “Your hatred for BIRDMAN, Drake & Nicki got you punishing Lil Wayne?!?!!! LIL WAYNE!!!!!!!!!! THE GOAT?!!!!!!!!!!! Nola what’s good?!!!!!! Eminem stood firm on having 50 Cent come out. A white man. Shit sad. House N***** TINGZ.”

Birdman quickly added his thoughts, writing: “These n****s p*ssy. Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne. YMCMB. Imma make these n****s respek us, on Gladys 🐐.”

In several posts Nicki Minaj praised Lil Wayne for all that he’s contributed to the culture, both seen and unseen. She also urged others to give rap legends their flowers while they are still around. Nicki ended with a note to ensure that her words weren’t a slight aimed at Kendrick Lamar, but an intentional show of disrespect aimed at Young Money.

Rick Ross Taunts 50 Cent’s Celibacy Remarks With Petty Joke

At the start of 2024, 50 Cent and Cuban Link’s relationship seemed to come to a close. The rapper and TV star shared a motivating and pretty revealing post to his Instagram that further confirmed this speculation. “My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level”. Furthermore, we noticed that there was a shortage of pictures of Fif and Cuban on his social media.

Lastly, we got even more information just yesterday after a clip from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert began to make the rounds. In the interview snippet, Colbert questioned him about his celibacy journey and if that was actually true. Numerous times, 50 Cent said yes, and he’s said that it’s been helping him quite a bit. “When you calm down, you can focus… “It’s been good, I’ve been good to me”.

Of course, though, you know Rick Ross couldn’t not help himself. If there is anything posted about one of his many foes, he’s going to be on top of it. In this instance, he posted in the comments of the clip above with a petty Cuban Link dig. “Cuban Link 💔”, according to AllHipHop. Not surprisingly, this isn’t the first time that Rozay has joked about Fif’s breakup wtih Cuban Link. When video footage of her and Travis Scott made the rounds on the internet, the MMG boss was right there with quick wit. “Many men, many many many many men -50 Cent”. He also added, “”No Louis Vuittons today, no no no. We wearing Travis Scotts all week”.

What are your thoughts on Rick Ross making fun of 50 Cent’s celibacy claims? Do you think he’s being disrespectful or is it funny in your opinion? Will the G-Unit boss respond? 50 Cent x “Million Dollaz Worth Of Game”: Key Takeaways

50 Cent continues to reach new heights in his career with or without releasing new music. Beyond a catalog of timeless hits, he’s proven to be one of the most business savvy individuals in hip-hop. His foray into film and television has been fruitful, to say the least: several TV shows, movies, and most recently, the opening of his production studio in Shreveport, LA, where he hosted the Humor & Harmony festival.

The rapper recently joined Gillie and Wallo on Million Dollaz Worth Of Game during his festival and they surely lived up to the title. For nearly an hour, 50 Cent dropped gems that reflected his rise in hip-hop and his transition into the entertainment world as an executive. His journey into entering the rap game officially under Eminem and Dr. Dre’s tutelage to the inner workings of the television industry.

Fat Joe Beef Does 180

While the two have a shared history of animosity, things couldn’t be going any better between Fat Joe and 50 Cent. During his appearance on Million Dollaz Worth Of Game, Fif explained that he and Fat Joe are practically best friends these days. It’s a 180 to when Fif and Joe went at it on wax and the effects rippled through the streets of New York and beyond. Ultimately, it was Joe’s allegiance to Murder Inc that caused their issues. “I didn’t f*ck with people because they had already dealt with them,” 50 explained. “The entire beginning of my career I was up against the leverage of Murder Inc. So, my whole beef with Fat Joe was really his loyalty.” He added, “Later we become the best friends, like I really f*ck with him,” 50 Cent admitted. “He’s loyal to a default, because he worked with him.”

What’s $1M To Dame Dash?

By now, we’ve seen the headlines surrounding Dame Dash and the debt he’s accumulated, upwards of $10 million. His financial situation comes as a shock, especially considering his contributions to hip-hop through Roc-A-Fella and other ventures. Always the business-minded hustler, he apparently didn’t have great things to say after 50 Cent inked a deal with Shady Records for $1M. In fact, the Roc-A-Fella co-founder apparently didn’t think that $1M was any money to begin with.

“The only person that pointed out a million dollars was no money was Damon Dash, and he has no money now,” 50 said. “How you gonna say that’s no money?” He recalled Dame telling him, “’After you get you a watch, chain, look out for the homies and then do this, then it’s nothing.” Naturally, this conversation resonated with 50 in ways that Dame Dash probably didn’t realize. “I’m from 134th Street. A million dollars is a lot of money. I think I hit the lotto. How are you gonna say that it’s no money? I just never forgot that because of how it felt.”

Since then, Dame has responded to Fif, claiming that they should have a “CEO War” between their respective networks. “Let’s do CEO war. You drop your television network today — you should be able to do that because you have power, you have the resources and you know, you’re getting money. And because I’m ‘broke,’ this should be easy work,” he said.

Nearly Signing Desiigner

An insightful moment in the interview that apparently warranted a response came as 50 Cent divulged how he nearly inked a deal with Desiigner prior to Kanye. At the time, Desiigner barely had a hit record to his name with “Panda” only beginning the bubble. However, 50 Cent comes from a time where record deals didn’t happen with the success of a single song, and apparently, Desiigner failed to have anything else to show for his talents. “I had him at the office. I was like, ‘Yo, let me hear the other records you got.’ And he’s like… ‘That’s it,’” he continued. “And the shit was so hot that he had, I was struggling. But I was like, ‘Nah, I can’t give that n***a that money. Let them give him whatever the f**k they gonna give him.’”

Desiigner later responded in the form of a diss track. In the snippet he previewed, he raps, “N***as talkin’ that 50 Cent, I be talking 50 mill/ N***as talkin’ that Timmy Turner, glad the n***a got killed / I got signed to Kanye, lil n***a, you was never worth a deal.” If we’re being honest, it’s hardly a diss nor is it something that someone like 50 Cent should even acknowledge.

Meeting Eminem

After years of grinding and getting blackballed from the industry, his deal with Eminem undoubtedly became what took him to astronomical heights. He explained that he felt like he was getting Punk’d by Ashton Kutcher because how unbelievable that experience was.

“He flew me to LA, right? I came out. I was so bugged out from the experience that I came through the airport with the vest and s**t on. I’m lucky I took the shock plate out the front of the joint. Because when I came through it didn’t. But the lawyer that I had with me that took me to him, I get there he’s like ‘Yo’ he felt the vest and s**t and was like,’” Fif said before mimicking Em’s reaction. “‘Yo this is going to be the biggest s**t right?’ He was so excited that it made me question whether what was happening was right ’cause I just wasn’t so used to it. It felt so good that it couldn’t be like right. I’m like ‘Yo, nah.’”

Ghost Was Supposed To Die In Power Season 4

Apparently, the way Power panned out wasn’t as initially planned. According to 50, Ghost was actually supposed to die at the same time as his character in season 4. “At the end of the day, Ghost was supposed to die when I died. I extended it… The problem with working with 50 Cent is, it’s 50 Cent’s show,” he said. This came after Omari Hardwick’s complaints of being underpaid, which many believed to be a dig at 50 Cent. However, Fif clarified that Hardwick messaged him later on and stated that it wasn’t the case. Ultimately, it was an issue with Starz.

Dame Dash Challenges 50 Cent To “CEO War” Involving Their TV Networks

Dame Dash is a mogul. He’s never pitched himself as a rapper, as evidenced by the song “I Am Dame Dash” where he raps about not being able to rap. We digress. Dash is someone who flexes on ops with business. This is why he decided to challenge 50 Cent on the business front. The former Roc-A-Fella boss told 50 to put his money where his mouth is, with regards to his TV network. He went as far as to say that his network would outperform 50’s in direct competition.

You might be asking why. As with most feuds involving 50 Cent, 50 Cent started it. The rapper claimed that Dame Dash “has no money now” during an episode of the Million Dollarz Worth of Game podcast. Dash caught wind of this, and decided to clap back on Instagram. “Somebody definitely sent me that cute sh*t 50 said about me not having no money,” Dash confirmed. “I feel like now me and 50 should have a battle, and no gangster sh*t…. That would be whack and corny for the culture.” The alternative Dame Dash proposed was a “CEO War.”

Dame Dash Tried To Get 50 To Buy Roc-A-Fella Shares

Dash wants to see which hip hop businessman has their pulse on the culture. “He’s in the television network business now,” he asserted. “Let’s do CEO War… “I’m going to drop my network. And what I’m going to do is also drop a new original American movie.” Dash then urged 50 Cent to drop a movie on his network, so the two could directly compete. The businessman didn’t stop there. He used the opportunity to goad 50 into purchasing the 33% stake in Roc-A-Fella Records. Dame Dash has been ordered to sell off his share of the legendary label, but has been unable to find a buyer that suits his price range.

Dame Dash decided to try and kill two birds with one stone when it came to challenging 50 Cent. “Where you at? It’s still for sale,” Dash explained. “The starting price was 1.2. Now it’s 3 million. And if you got it like you say it, buy it. I challenge you.” Given how much trouble Dash has had selling off his 33%, we can’t blame him. That said, 50 Cent has enough going on to not have to worry about beef with Dame Dash.
