BlueBucksClan Liken Themselves To NASCAR Star “Bubba Wallace” On Their New Single

BlueBucksClan are racing to the money and fame, just as fast as “Bubba Wallace” on their latest track. Yes, that’s right, the Los Angeles rap duo of DJ and Jeeezy have a new release for us to dive into, and it’s out on all platforms. These longtime friends and football teammates started to pursue their rap career in 2019. It’s turned out to be the right decision so far, as they have gone on to work with some of the biggest in the genre. In fact, just this past March, BlueBucks rapped over Hit-Boy beats for 15 tracks on Biggest Out The West. Their latest project also had features from the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, Kalan.FrFr, Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz, and more. It really was a uniting of West Coast stars (for the most part).

Since that release, they have remained fairly active. They assisted another Cali up-and-comer in 310babii for his newest hit, “rock your hips”. BlueBucksClan also got the chance to perform on Mustard’s new album Faith Of A Mustard Seed. Furthermore, they have some features for the artists like Coach Joey, Allyn, and Rucci. With them being in pulled in so many different directions, it might be a little bit before they decide to drop another tape. But “Bubba Wallace” is a nice track to chew on while we wait for that announcement. BlueBucks have a unique identity thanks to their reserved flows and deliveries, and you are getting more of the same on “Bubba Wallace”. If cool were a group, it would be these two without a doubt. Give the new single a try with the YouTube link below.

Cardi B Ditches Offset Divorce Drama To Celebrate Grandmother’s Birthday

It’s no secret that the past couple of months have been full of ups and downs for Cardi B. In September, the NYC rapper gave birth to a third child with her ex, Offset. In August, news of their divorce was revealed, which they’d both been fairly quiet about until late last month. She dragged him during a heated Instagram Live rant, prompting him to accuse her of sleeping with someone else while she was pregnant.

This elicited big reactions from several social media users and peers, but it looks like the “Bongos” rapper is unfazed. Recently, she took to her Instagram Story to share a clip of her grandmother celebrating her birthday. In the clip, the newly 86-year-old shows off her dance moves as other family members cheer her on.

Cardi B’s Grandmother Turns 86

Cardi seemed to be in good spirits despite all of the drama surrounding her love life, and fans were glad to see it. The heartwarming clip arrives shortly after she shut down rumors that her and Offset’s breakup was a PR stunt. On Live last week, she noted how faking the split and subsequent drama wouldn’t make any sense, and that Offset would never agree to it. She also reminded critics of all of the times they threw her relationship issues in her face, and how they weren’t suspected to be fake then.

“But when I leave, it’s a publicity stunt?” she asked. “Do y’all really think that my baby dad is gonna be like ‘Yeah, do that. I’m gonna sacrifice my career that I worked for so hard.’” What do you think of Cardi B taking her mind off of her breakup drama with some family time? What about her grandma showing off her impressive dance moves in honor of her 86th birthday? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Tupac Murder’s Crime Scene Investigator Alleges That Diddy Had Something To Do With It

Amid Diddy’s federal case for alleged sex trafficking and a mountain of sexual assault allegations, other alleged skeletons continue to emerge further. Moreover, News Nation recently spoke to Sheryl McCollum, who was a crime scene investigator for the death of Tupac Shakur. McCollum alleged that Sean Combs is involved in both that 1996 incident in Las Vegas and to the 1994 shooting that resulted from a failed New York City robbery in Quad Studios as Combs was reportedly in a studio with a 40-person entourage. “This whole thing to me started in 1994, the first time Tupac is shot,” the investigator told the outlet.

“You ain’t got to shoot somebody five times to take their jewelry and their money,” the Tupac investigator continued. “Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs and his entourage of 40? Unharmed. Unthreatened. How does that make sense to anybody that one person is going to be robbed and not the other 40? Who would have had more money and jewelry? 40.” However, Diddy has consistently denied that he had anything to do with either that shooting or ‘Pac’s death.

Tupac Crime Scene Investigator Speaks On Diddy

“Both times that Tupac Shakur is shot, he is trapped in something,” McCollum added to News Nation. “He’s trapped in an elevator, and then he’s trapped in a car. There is literally nowhere to run. Both scenes, though, ironically, don’t have video footage. To me, this signifies somebody close to him knows his whereabouts on that day, that time and that location. That, to me, shrinks your suspect pool pretty good. Only a handful of people would have known where he was on both of those days.” “People from Diddy’s past are coming forward and providing info,” an insider told Page Six, presumably concerning ‘Pac’s murder.

Meanwhile, this news comes after Tupac Shakur’s family reportedly hired Jay-Z’s lawyer Alex Spiro to investigate the alleged link between ‘Pac’s death and Diddy. As of writing this article, no new information or developments have emerged from that reportedly new process. Folks also wonder if this will tie back into the federal indictment against Combs. That’s quite unlikely, but we will have to stay posted on both matters.

Today In Hip Hop History: Common(Sense) Released His Debut Album ‘Can I Borrow A Dollar?’ 32 Years Ago

On this day in 1992, Chicago Hip-Hop legend Common, who was known as “Common Sense,” released his debut LP Can I Borrow A Dollar? Common delivered a debut that can be set apart from any other album he’s released. As one of Chicago’s first mainstream Hip Hop albums, this album exhibits an unorthodox approach to conscious rap. With very little connection to the boom-bap scene thriving in New York, Common was able to forge his unique style and stand out among a sea of Afrocentric, for-the-cause MCs, subsequently putting Chi-Town on the map.

It was Common’s isolation and hunger that drove this project to be as prolific as it is. After winning the title of ‘Unsigned Hype’ from The Source Magazine, Common quickly rose to the ranks of new artists. His unique status brought him a record deal and the ability to take his out-of-pocket flow and poetic wordplay to the mainstream. The simple production from his four-headed beat machine of No ID, Twilite Tone, and The Beatnuts was the perfect alley-oop for Common to showcase his lyrical prowess. In no way could the instrumental outshine anything Common was saying, creating a full album. Along with the lack of any “big name” features, that proved that this album was the beginning of a bright and illustrious career.

Commercially and critically, the project was slept on. Only peaking at#70 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop charts and selling well under platinum standards, this album was underappreciated until Common had officially proved himself as one of the greats. The album’s singles “Take it EZ,” “Breaker 1/9”, and “Sound by the Pound” were all top 10 hits on the Rap charts but had very little crossover success. However, this album is retrospectively loved, appreciated, and recognized as a Golden Era classic. Can I Borrow A Dollar? was a peek into the future. Common’s immense success in household name stems from his ability to go against the tide without ruffling any feathers. He stands out while simultaneously fitting in, and today we celebrate his debut.

Ian Delivers Takes A Victory Lap On New Single “End Up Gone”

For better or for worse, ian has been one of 2024’s breakout acts. The Dallas rapper has made headlines for his approach to hip-hop. Some have praised him for the way he’s been able to cultivate his sound, and he received a Lil Yachty co-sign when he first debuted. Others have classified him as a culture vulture, a white man mocking Black artists, most notably Gucci Mane and Future. Tyler, The Creator was the most prominent critic of ian’s work, which led to lengthy debates online about the legitimacy of ian’s artistry. Regardless of how one feels about his music, one thing is undeniable: he has not let the criticism slow down his output.

ian released his debut album Valedictorian in May. Across the year, he’s also released seven singles, five of which did not make his album. The latest single, “End Up Gone,” released on October 4. The track is what one expects from ian’s work at this point. It has similar motifs to music released by New Atlanta legends, including Future and Young Thug, as well as some inspiration from Lil Uzi Vert in his delivery. The production is fairly simple, not demanding much of the listener. The same can be said for ian’s lyrics, as he does some flexing on his haters. ian’s had a highly successful year, finding a fanbase quickly. He began the year as the subject of similar discourse to when Post Malone debuted nearly a decade ago. Now, he’s taking a victory lap. Check out the new song below.

Alleged Court Docs Reveal Big Jook’s Alleged Bounties On Young Dolph & Other PRE Members

New alleged court documents leaked accusing Yo Gotti’s late brother Big Jook of allegedly placing hits on various Paper Route Empire (PRE) members. For those unaware, this follows accusations that Jook allegedly placed the hit that took Dolph’s life, although this is still just an allegation that the court didn’t prove while assessing Dolph’s murderers’ cases. Nevertheless, the alleged hit list includes Dolph for $100K, Key Glock for $50K, Paper Route Woo for $50K, Big Moochie Grape for $5K, and Snupe Bandz for $20K. It’s unclear what specific case this alleged prosecution document is a part of, but folks are still discussing it.

Furthermore, this will likely be a tough case to prove and one that sadly came too late to prevent more bloodshed. An unknown suspect murdered Yo Gotti’s brother Big Jook in Memphis earlier this year, and these allegations concerning Young Dolph’s murder and the alleged hits out on PRE members emerged after this tragedy. However, we can’t speculate much based on these alleged court documents, as this is all still very complex and unclear for the general public. All we know is that the feud between Gotti’s camp and PRE reached overblown levels of violence regardless of whether or not they engaged in direct involvement.

No matter who was behind the Young Dolph murder, his family is at least grateful that the court reached a conviction in the case. “Today’s verdict brings relief and restores my confidence in the justice system,” his fiancée Mia Jaye wrote in part. “On behalf of my children, family, and myself, I would like to thank law enforcement, the prosecution, and everyone involved for their diligent work in presenting the facts that led to this conviction. We are also grateful to the public for standing with us and advocating for accountability throughout this process. This is just the beginning of our journey toward achieving full justice for Adolph, and we will patiently support the unfolding of that process.”

“We ask you to remember the man who enjoyed being a father and spending time with his family, [and] we ask that you remember the man who enjoyed giving opportunities to those who were often overlooked and counted out,” Young Dolph’s sister remarked. “We ask that you remember the man who enjoyed giving back to others and being an inspiration to those who come from less-than-ideal backgrounds.”

Joe Budden Responds To DDG’s Jabs Amid Halle Bailey Breakup Drama

Last week, DDG hopped online to announce that he and Halle Bailey broke up. He posted a touching statement, in which he described the Little Mermaid star as his “best friend” despite the split. The announcement has prompted reactions from countless social media users and peers since, including Joe Budden.

During a recent episode of his podcast, Budden weighed in on the breakup and threw some serious shade DDG’s way. According to him, he doesn’t know who DDG is outside of his relationship with Bailey. “Who the f*ck is DDG and why am I supposed to care about his thoughts on anything?” he wondered. “Every time I see his name, it’s attached to hers, and it’s typically in some clout chaser fashion. So that makes me look at him a different way, and hopefully, I get to look at him a lot less now that they’ve broken up.”

“N***a got 30 years MAX of life left & speakin on a relationship of people the same age as yo son you’n take care of. I hope u forget to take your magnesium pills today u old b*tch @JoeBudden.” Now, Budden has issued a simple response. “lol,” he replied to DDG’s comments about “Pump It Up.” He appears unfazed, but only time will tell whether or not he’ll come back with a more detailed comeback. Kendrick Lamar Reportedly Adds “Euphoria” To Grammys 2025 Consideration List

It seems like Kendrick Lamar submitted more songs for the Grammys next year than we initially thought. For those unaware, he submitted “Not Like Us” and his Future and Metro Boomin collab “Like That” for Record/Song of the Year, Best Rap Song/Performance, plus Best Music Video just for the former. However, according to frequent K.Dot producer Sounwave, it seems like “Euphoria” is also up for consideration at the 2025 Grammy Awards. His Instagram post indicating this didn’t specify what categories it was for, but we can assume that it was probably for the same ones as the other two tracks.

Of course, this move wasn’t without its fair share of controversy, whether due to the Grammys’ track record with hip-hop or that one Drake like on “Family Matters.” But we also doubt that Kendrick Lamar would be getting this much flack if that battle didn’t happen, as plenty of rap artists didn’t get that same criticism for submitting their work for Grammys consideration this year. It’s kind of similar to what happened with the Super Bowl halftime show, at least partially.

Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” Is Apparently Up For Grammys Consideration

However, there were some other interesting updates regarding “Like That” in particular recently. Barry White’s estate recently filed a copyright lawsuit against the song, but it’s for the sample that Metro Boomin used for the beat. That sample is what allegedly infringed on White’s copyright, so Future, Kendrick Lamar, the St. Louis producer, and their labels aren’t codefendants in the case… yet. Prosecutors did state that they left the door open to direct action against them if the supposed indemnification provided to them from the original White samplers is insufficient in the court’s eyes.

Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar fans recently got a chance to look back at an alternate visual take on Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. The photographer for the album’s cover art recently revealed some outtakes with his family for the cover shoot in which he holds his son Enoch and a shotgun in different pictures. We wonder what else is in the Compton lyricist’s vault. But we’ll see if his offerings this year as part of the Drake battle get some Grammy love.
