Mathew Knowles Blasts Haters For Criticizing Beyonce’s Hair Care Line

Beyonce’s new hair line Cécred is getting a lot of positive excitement from fans… yet not everyone’s on board. Moreover, a lot of folks pointed out that she wears extensions, and thus questioned what she really knows about natural hair. In addition to this, folks had other criticisms of the superstar’s initiative concerning her supposedly taking advantage of this business for her gain without really knowing much about it. However, this is all just speculative, and her father doubled down on this. TMZ caught up with Mathew Knowles in New York City recently and asked him about the hair care company.

“I know nothing about the hair care line,” Mathew Knowles said of Beyonce’s latest move in business and pop culture. “We [he and his then-wife Tina Knowles] had a salon. I don’t know what to tell you but, you know, we had a hair salon for 17 years, and it was the top hair salon in Houston. Uh, must have some credibility, right? Seventeen years, top hair salon. I’ll let you guys figure it out.” It’s clear that the Destiny’s Child manager wants for folks to just see this skill for themselves rather than make assumptions.

However, speaking of Destiny’s Child -– and responding to backlash -– Mathew Knowles also spoke on another member’s recent controversy. TMZ also asked him about Kelly Rowland supposedly walking out of The Today Show because her dressing room was too small. “Oh, Kelly is a sweetheart,” he replied when confronted about whether or not he thinks she would do something like that. Kelly lived with us, I look at Kelly as my daughter. I don’t know what happened, but I can tell you one thing I do know. She’s not a diva, she’s a sweetheart, and that’s all I know! I don’t keep up with it like I used to.”

Meanwhile, other folks are walking back their criticisms of Queen Bey for other reasons. Joe Budden recently apologized for refusing to speak on her new country singles. Of course, the show in question is Bad Vs. Wild. This is a new variety show that is being hosted by none other than Nick Cannon. Overall, there are going to be music performances, rap battles, and many more offerings. Well, during the premiere episode, we got a one-on-one between Nunn and Hernandez. As you can imagine, this led to a whole lot of debauchery on stage. In the clip below, you can even see that things got a bit violent between the two.

It is exactly what the producers were hoping for, and we’re sure the fans wanted the exact same. While some may scoff at this kind of content, there is no doubt that Zeus know what it is doing.

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see what else Bad Vs. Wild is going to be able to provide. Kelsey Nicole says Megan Thee Stallion “had been betraying” her prior to the night she was shot by Tory Lanez in 2020. Nicole, who was in the car during the incident, opened up on her decision to speak out during an interview with The Danza Project on Sunday.

“It took a lot for me to come and do this,” she said. “Part of that is, I wanted to be sure when I did speak that I wasn’t speaking from a place of anger. I’m able to articulate myself well enough and not allow the drama to overshadow how I truly feel. I think that’s very important. I didn’t want to take an interview or sit down with anybody until I was past that part.”

Nicole added that she’s since decided to “open up more,” and “let people into my life a little bit and maybe this will help them understand me more. Maybe my story will help somebody else. And I think it’s also part of the healing process. [WATCH] Thieves Steal $30K In Sneakers From California Sneaker Store

A San Fernando-based boutique sneaker dealer is currently recovering from a recent break-in where over $30,000 worth of high-end sneakers over the weekend.

This is actually the second time that Hype Beast Kicks were victims of a break-in since it opened in San Fernando, California three years ago. The thieves, armed and masked, smashed their way into the store in the middle of the night, making off with sneakers and merchandise worth tens of thousands of dollars.

The owners believe that they have to be harder on criminals as retail theft crimes have been on the rise on Southern California.

The surveillance footage captured the criminals arriving in a white sedan and using a rock to break the store’s display window. The thieves were seen on camera grabbing shoes and causing chaos in the store before their escape.

Dame Dash Needs Help Paying For Legal Representation In Lawsuit: Report

Dame Dash is finding more issues than he bargained for in a lawsuit against him from photographer Monique Bunn. Moreover, according to court documents exclusively obtained by AllHipHop, he breached his agreement with the legal firm representing him in this $51 million case, Sanders Roberts LLP. They filed a motion to withdraw as representatives of the New York City native, as well as of Damon Dash Studios, Poppington LLC, and Raquel Horn. According to the firm, all co-defendants have not fulfilled their contractual obligations, with Dash specifically being accused of not paying them properly under a retainer agreement and resulting in enforcement action against all parties.

Furthermore, the firm’s partner Felton T. Newell claimed that they spent a lot of time, energy, and resources on representing Dame Dash, but that he’s very behind on his legal bills. Apparently, this relationship broke down so heavily that Sanders Roberts LLP no longer feels able to represent him or his goals. The court will address this request on May 28, 2024, but the Roc-A-Fella executive will still have representation in the form of lawyer Xavier Robert Donaldson if the court grants the motion, as Donaldson is still representing him at press time.

Meanwhile, for those unaware, this lawsuit began in April of 2019 from photographer Monique Bunn and her lawyer Christopher Brown. The story goes that Bunn stayed at Dame Dash’s L.A. mansion for a photoshoot for his Poppington brand. According to the photographer, Jay-Z’s former partner exhibited inappropriate behavior and unlawfully kept a hard drive with over 100,000 celebrity snaps. The court cleared him of sexual assault charges, but his libel liability led to a $30,000 award for defamation to Bunn.

However, now the photographer and her attorney are seeking more action from the court, calling for a new trial to receive her due compensation for property damage. Also, Bunn has another lawsuit against Dash and his wife for $1 million for a separate defamation incident, in which they allegedly claimed she was a thief for unauthorized credit card charges in a video. He denied any and all claims and thinks that Brown is trying to extort him, as he’s already won two suits against him.
