50 Cent Claims He’s “Best Friends” With Fat Joe Despite Years Of Feuding

50 Cent and Fat Joe have a lot in common. Both are New York legends. Both got their start in the 90s, before reaching their commercial peak in the 2000s. Despite, or perhaps because of these similarities, though, 50 and Joe hated each other. They spent years taking shots at each other on record and on the radio. It was impossible to fathom these two getting along at one point, and yet, they buried the hatchet. 50 Cent talked about his relationship with Fat Joe in 2024, and claimed that they had actually become best friends.

50’s revelation came about during a recent episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game. The rapper stated that his beef with Fat Joe stemmed from his proximity to Murder, Inc. Basically, 50 Cent declared anyone who was cool with Murder, Inc. to be an op, and Joe fit the bill. “I didn’t f*ck with people because they had already dealt with them,” 50 explained. “The entire beginning of my career I was up against the leverage of Murder Inc. So, my whole beef with Fat Joe was really his loyalty.” 50 Cent never had a legitimate problem with Joe, and once the dust settled, the two men actually respected each other.

50 Cent Commended Fat Joe For His ‘Loyalty’

“Later we become the best friends, like I really f*ck with him,” 50 Cent admitted. “He’s loyal to a default, because he worked with him.” This isn’t the first time that the G-Unit founder has expressed regret over the Joe situation. During a 2023 interview with Rolling Stone, 50 unpacked his relationship with Joe and realized that he’d misread the situation. “I would see him a little uncomfortable with the success I was having, and I interpreted as, ‘He doesn’t like me,’” the rapper admitted. “When he’s really the kind of guy you want to be friends with because he’s loyal to a default.”

Fat Joe has heard 50 Cent’s kind words, and responded similarly. The Terror Squad boss went on Cam Capone News to hash out what happened, and saluted 50 for going toe to toe with him. He also said that the beef with 50 inadvertently boosted his reputation as a New York legend. “I had the persona of New York Suge Knight,” he noted. “So for [50 Cent] talking about Fat Joe in the same city. The funeral homes was making bids.” We’re glad both artists have moved on, and have seemingly done so together.

Lee Daniels Get Bashed For Glenn Close’s Character In New Film

Lee Daniels is no stranger to controversy. The director has built his career on making bold onscreen choices, and defending them regardless of the pushback. The Deliverance, Daniels’ first foray into the horror genre, is a prime example. A character by the name of Alberta, played by Glenn Close, has been diving fans and critics. That said, Lee Daniels’ comments about Alberta, proved even more polarizing on Twitter.

The director claimed that Alberta was a type of person who is present in the lives of every African American. “Every Black person knows an Alberta,” Daniels asserted. “She’s part of the fabric of our community, but we’ve never seen her onscreen before.” The director then praised Oscar nominee Close for her fearless portrayal of the character. “Thank you Glenn for bringing her magnificently to life.” The Deliverance has been critically panned on Rotten Tomatoes, with a 30% score, but it was Lee Daniels’ broad comments that rubbed fans the wrong way.

Fans Call Out Lee Daniels’ Creative Liberties

Many Twitter users felt that Daniels was generalizing the African American experience. Others felt that the director was speaking for them with an authority that he does not have. “There is literally no scenario ever where a non-black person is the actual fabric of a black community,” one incensed user wrote. Lee Daniels’ use of the phrase “fabric of the black community” seemed to be the breaking point. A second user was less irate, but still noted that the director was exaggerated. “The fabric of our community is doing a lot,” they asserted. “I’ve never seen or met anyone like [Alberta] in my life.”

The criticism snowballed when fans did research into the real family that inspired The Deliverance. Glenn Close’s Alberta is obviously white, but the real grandmother she’s based on was African American. This did not sit well with viewers. The grandma is black,” one baffled user tweeted. “Lee Daniels is the actual villain.” The general consensus is that Daniels’ framing of Alberta as being an authentic depiction, while actual being an instance of whitewashing, is not worth praising. Plain and simple, regardless of what the director says.

Dom Corleo Celebrates Turning 22 With Sophomore Album “Under My Influence”

Dom Corleo is somebody who we have said doesn’t have too distinct of a style. However, the Fremont, California rapper did have us a little more intrigued with what he did with Veeze on “duh duh duh”. The track had quite a bit of personality thanks to the instrumental choice. The zig-zagging string sections and glitchy piano keys were playful and we do have to show a little love to the now 22-year-old’s performance. It’s blunt in a good way and he does ride the instrumental very well. After hearing it, all we could hope for is that it would translate in some way down the line. Well, impressively, Dom Corleo translates that momentum over to his newest album, Under My Influence.

It’s actually his sophomore tape and he released it to help extend his birthday celebration. Leading up to the release of Under My Influence, Corleo would go on to release “eighteen”, one of his most personal records to date. That’s another reason why this project succeeds. You get to learn a little bit more about him and his life behind closed doors. Here, we learn that he’s lost his grandmother and also has a daughter. The song is touching, as he explains how he grew up so fast and now after witnessing how quick life moves, he doesn’t want his child to get old. Fans have been reacting very positively to Under My Influence, and we can see why. Corleo is on to something, and we hope it continues!

Boosie Badazz Jokes About Men Painting Their Nails In Newest Homophobic Post

Boosie Badazz complained about men painting their nails in his latest controversial post, comparing the move to wearing a thong. “IF A MAN IS PAINTING HIS NAILS, ITS EQUAL TO A MAN WEARING A THONG UP HIS AXX #realtalk get it sexy get it sexy,” he wrote with several laughing emojis. It’s far from the first time he’s criticized men for breaking traditional gender norms. In addition to controversial posts of that nature, he’s also come under fire for extremely homophobic opinions on numerous occasions.

When 2Cool2Blog shared the post on Instagram, users couldn’t understand Boosie’s obsession with the LGBTQ+ community. “Boosie it’s ok. Them demons killing u. Just accept u have an urge to participate in the festivities. Nobody will judge u. It’s ok champ. We tire come out man,” one user wrote. Another added: “I can honestly say I don’t care what the next man is doing I got kids and bills whooping my ass.”

Despite the frequent homophobia, Boosie has said time and time again that he doesn’t have any issues with LGBTQ+ people. Speaking with Cam Newton on his show, 4th & 1, in February, Boosie explained his stance on the matter. “I just never agreed [with] what they was pushing on the younger generation, and I spoke on that,” he told the former NFL star. “And I spoke about a couple more situations that made a lot of people turn on me: the Dwyane Wade situation. But I have gays in my family. How can I hate a gay person? My assistant, who brings in millions of dollars to me, is gay. And I just got—I want that to get off my status. I’m not like that.”

50 Cent Hilariously Recalls His First Time Meeting Eminem

50 Cent was the most recent guest on Million Dollaz Worth Of Game will Gillie and Wallo, and a great one at that. In their episode, which dropped on Sunday (September 1), they discussed Fif’s career, business moves, and his unbelievable spending on legal fees over the years. However, one of the most colorful and heartening parts of the interview was when 50 recounted the story of the first time he met Eminem. Given their incredibly strong bond as musical collaborators, business partners, and decades-long friends, hearing this backstory from him is a pretty hilarious experience that feels nonetheless wholesome.

“It was wild,” 50 Cent told the media duo around the 51-minute mark of the video below. “It felt like… Remember that show they had? Punk’d on MTV? I thought they had cameras and they was going to come out and say ‘You’ve been punked.’” Also, he revealed that he wore a bulletproof vest when he first met Eminem. This took Em aback when he excitedly hugged him after looking forward to this meeting for a long time. Apparently, this made the G-Unit mogul more doubtful.

50 Cent On Million Dollaz Worth Of Game: Watch

He flew me to L.A., right?” 50 Cent continued. “I came out. I was so bugged out from the experience that I came through the airport with the vest and s**t on. I’m lucky I took the shock plate out the front of the joint. Because when I came through, it didn’t. But the lawyer that I had with me that took me to [Eminem]. I get there he’s like, ‘Yo!’ He felt the vest and s**t and was like…” 50 then imitated the Detroit MC’s reaction.

“‘Yo this is going to be the biggest s**t right?’” 50 Cent recalled Eminem asking. “He was so excited that it made me question whether what was happening was right ’cause I just wasn’t so used to it. It felt so good that it couldn’t be like right. I’m like ‘Yo, nah.’” Well, all’s well that ends well, right? After timeless hits, millions of dollars, and a whole lot of contributions to each others’ legacies, we’re sure that they laugh back at this moment now.

Baby Tate Claims She Was “Pushed To The F***ing Concrete” By Security Guard

Baby Tate is one of the female femcees that has both a fun and edgy personality. It translates into her music as well, and its why she’s so intriguing as an artist. However, the Georgia multi-hyphenate is dropping her bubbly side at this moment because she’s currently infuriated. According to theJasmineBrand, the “Surround Sound” guest star is claiming that she was physical assaulted in Atlanta over the weekend. Tate and her friends were enjoying their night out at El Malo, a local cocktail lounge. During her retelling of the evening’s events, Tate says that one security guard was constantly hovering around her group.

After being fed up with it, Baby Tate decided to ask the man why he was targeting her party. That seems to be when things escalated. As the 28-year-old describes it, “[The security guard] PUSHED ME TO THE F***ING CONCRETE when I did nothing to him but ask why he was talking to me crazy. It’s actually giving LAW SUIT. No funny s***”.

Mase Addresses Ozempic Rumors As Fans React To His Slim Freestyle Look

Mase showed that he’s still got it, dropping a killer new freestyle on his It Is What It Is sports talk show with Cam’ron. However, a lot of fans didn’t even hear his bars because the video made them ask one question: since when was he so skinny? Moreover, a lot of folks questioned this weight loss online, even accusing the rapper of taking Ozempic to slim down. What’s funny, though, is that these skeptics would’ve had an answer if they had just listened to the show. “I signed up with this coach, he just put me on an alkaline diet. I’m only eating fruit, vegetables and water for now,” he remarked on the show, denying the use of any drugs or medication to lose weight.

Elsewhere on It Is What It Is, Mase and Cam’ron also get around to telling some wacky stories. “Me and L start talking and the conversation goes super left, you know,” the former said about an alleged incident in which Big L once set him up for a robbery. “Next thing I know, I’m in The Tunnel [a nightclub] and the n***a Fat Joe comes up to me. A couple months later, we get into it about something. I think it was over a chick or something. I get around the corner on 140th and I walk up 140th on Seventh to 141st and a Spanish n***a just run outta nowhere like, ‘Give it up. I’ma kill both of y’all n***as.’”

Mase Denies Ozempic Rumors

But Mase isn’t the only lyrical threat on It Is What It Is, as Cam’ron has spit some fire on it before. These freestyles even furthered beef with folks like Melyssa Ford and Anthony Edwards. As for Ford, their spat concerns an allegation she made that Killa Cam may have had relations with an underage sex worker. Since then, it’s been gloves off for the two.

Fortunately for Mase, he’s in a much more chill place for the most part. Many of their discussions are purely observational, such as their assessments of Caitlin Clark in the WNBA. If they do have something direct and personal to talk about, such as alleged Ozempic use, they’ll do so with each other. But at least they’ve still got their bars on point in any case.
