Ralo Is Still Demanding A Conversation With Boosie Badazz Amid Their Beef

Ralo and Boosie Badazz are apparently still going at it, and what was once a misunderstanding might turn legitimately contentious. Moreover, for those unaware, the former angered the latter when he said that he doesn’t want to be rapping in his 40s or 50s like Badazz is. The Atlanta rapper didn’t really mean this as a diss, though; just that he has different priorities in mind for when he reaches his Baton Rouge rhyming colleague’s age. After trying to explain himself while responding to Boosie’s attacks, he followed this up with an Instagram message on Thursday (September 5) doubling down on his demands for a sit-down.

“You think you just gone go up on me while im in prison can’t fight for myself and when i get out I wasn’t gone say s**t,” Ralo wrote to Boosie. “Man you crazy as hell you gotta give me ah fade or sum (BOXING MATCH) and I ain’t talkin about that mf haircut. You let n***as pull up and turn you against me, but when I try to pull up and show my part you dodging me. Like what the hell part of the game that is bruh???

“Yawl n***as be blowing me wit this lame a** s**t I sware,” Ralo continued. “This ain’t bout who can rap the best or who the most gangster my people just wanna get to the bottom of this s**t. If ah n***a around you and they ain’t telling you to do the right thing then you need to kick them off from round you. Ima delete everything I said off my page for the people, but that conversation is needed fam…”

Meanwhile, here’s part of Boosie’s rants against Ralo. “#xnephew U LOOKING FOR CLOUT IM LOOKING FOR BAGZ OF MONEY N SUCCESS!!” he tweeted. “YOUR MIND HAS NOT ELEVATED AT ALL BRO FROM BEING N PRISON. WE HAVE TWO DIFFERENT MIND SETS. U COULD HAVE Named anybody WHO 41 n STILL RAPPING ON STAGE BUT WHO U SAY ‘BOOSIE.’ U HATIN LOL LET THIS SINK N ‘YOU NOT ME, YOU DONT HAVE MUSIC LIKE ME, U AINT GOT PAPER LIKE ME, U AINT FLY LIKE ME U DONT HAVE RESPECT LIKE ME , U WENT TO JAIL LIKE ME BUT GOING TO JAIL DONT MAKE US REAL ‘IT MAKE US STUPID #letthatsinkn.”

Rich Homie Quan Starts Independent Venture with Troy Carter’s Venice Music

Rich Homie Quan has reportedly passed away. The news poured online, and friends and fans were reacting to the news.

Boosie Badazz and Jacquees were among those first sharing the details:

Rich Homie Quan, born Dequantes Devontay Lamar, is well-known among fans for his melodic trap flow and rose to fame for his catchy songs, including the number-one hits “Type of Way” and “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh).” Rich Homie Quan was also a member of Rich Gang alongside Young Thug and Birdman, spawning the Rich Gang: Tha Tour Pt. 1.

In 2022, Rich Homie Quan announced a partnership with Venice Music, a cutting-edge music and technology firm created by Troy Carter and Suzy Ryoo. Under his new label Rich Homie Entertainment, which will be serviced by Venice Music, Rich Homie Quan was set to independently release music.

Travis Kelce Names His Favorite Song From Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour: ‘They’re All My Favorite’

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will begin their quest for their third Super Bowl in a row on Thursday night when they play host to the Baltimore Ravens. It’s unclear how much longer Kelce will be in the NFL, as the soon-to-be 35-year-old has flirted with the idea of retiring but signed a 2-year contract extension earlier this offseason.

Whenever he decides to hang them up, there will be no shortage of things for Kelce to do, whether that’s continuing his media career or just hanging out at Taylor Swift concerts. Kelce has been a fixture at Swift’s shows during The Eras Tour, and in a recent interview with CBS, he got asked what his favorite song is during his partner’s epic show. He decided to take, quite possibly, the most diplomatic route he could.

“I got a bunch of ’em, they’re all my favorite, they’re all my favorite, literally, every single one,” Kelce said. “You see me at a concert, you’ll see me singing ’em all.”

Kelce has been asked to pick his favorite songs by his partner in the past, and went with “Blank Space,” “Cruel Summer,” and “So High School.” I, for one, think that “Champagne Problems” is getting robbed here, but who am I to say?

Kendrick Lamar Fans Eviscerate Billboard For Not Crowning “Not Like Us” As “Song Of The Summer”

Once again, hip-hop fans are complaining about other publications and media companies passing judgement on the genre’s offerings. However, this time around, we’re sure that there’s a specific set of rap die-hards in support of a particular Canadian superstar that aren’t complaining. Moreover, Kendrick Lamar fans are outraged at how Billboard did not rank the Drake diss “Not Like Us” as “the song of the summer” for 2024. Instead, the outlet gave the crown to Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help.” However, Billboard does have a metric and an explanation that details how they arrived at this conclusion.

According to the publication, “the 20-position Songs of the Summer running tally tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weekly streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day (this year encompassing charts dated June 8 through Sept. 7).” As such, the early May release of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” is probably what impacted these numbers. Still, for the wider hip-hop, music, and pop culture spheres, you can’t deny that there wasn’t a more inescapable and moment-creating track that dominated the summer.

Kendrick Lamar Did Not Have The “Song Of The Summer,” According To Billboard

Maybe we’re not giving Sabrina Carpenter and others their due flowers, but it’s hard to deny the sheer scale and impact of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle in the summer of 2024. We’re still seeing developments in this area, such as the Toronto lyricist’s new music releases and the promise of a “Game 2” on his behalf. But when it comes to K.Dot, we really have no idea what he’ll do next apart from a few speculative theories and hints from his camp here and there. Will the robbed song of the summer become song of the year if this beef rages on?

Fans React

Nevertheless, we have to acknowledge how ridiculous it is that folks even care about what Billboard has to say about Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” Even if the summer is wrapping up, this battle definitely has more legs. Some of it is reflective, like Adam22 thinking that the Compton MC should support his colleagues more. But as for what the future holds as the epilogue to this story, all we can do is excitedly wait.

Fivio Foreign Has An Interesting Theory As To Why People Hate Ice Spice

Ice Spice is definitely one of the most divisive rappers today, whether it’s for her music or for her criticized career moves. But Fivio Foreign thinks that there’s a particularly enlightening gender dynamic at play when it comes to her female haters. “B***hes hate Spice cuz n***as love spice,” he tweeted on Wednesday night (September 5). Sadly for the Bronx femcee, we’re currently seeing a pretty intense and combative example of this. Cleotrapa claimed that she’s mistreated her a lot while on tour, and her allegations elicited some fan concern over this alleged behavior and around some other past controversies.

However, not everyone is on board the Ice Spice hate train… At least, for this reason. “She don’t have no say over nothing,” Joe Budden recently theorized on his podcast. “She has not sold enough records to be in this position and on tour, every single dollar is accounted for months before we went on tour. I know exactly how much each of these rooms are gonna cost. I know exactly how much the gas is gonna cost. We can’t afford another bus but we got another bus. Okay let’s bring some other people, but those people are for free. There’s no budget. Every single dollar is accounted for.”

Fivio Foreign’s Thoughts On Ice Spice

Still, other negative perceptions of Ice Spice are more light and understandable, such as Latto’s slight beef with her. ” “I don’t got a problem with nobody ’cause beef is a different thing, you feel me?” she told 2 Chainz and his son Halo on their podcast, speaking on their mostly competitive and non-serious rap rivalry. “That’s a whole different type of conversation. I ain’t got no beef with nobody, I don’t got a problem with nobody for real. *laughs* I ain’t got no problem with nobody for real, for real, it ain’t like that.”

Meanwhile, apart from Ice Spice, Fivio Foreign also made a questionable reference to Rick Ross recently, which had fans thinking that it could’ve been a diss. But it turns out that this speculation didn’t go anywhere. Regardless, Fivio’s assessment isn’t the most misleading thing in the world when it comes to the “Princess Diana” hitmaker. While it’s definitely one explanation for a lot of backlash around her, it’s also not the definitive answer.
