Ice T Has An NSFW Explanation For The Earthquake In New York

Ice T joked that his “morning sex” was the cause of the 4.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the tri-state area on Friday. New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and even Pennsylvania felt the rumble of the earthquake around 10:20 AM, EST. Just a couple of hours later, Ice T hopped on Twitter to provide an explanation for the experience.

“ATTENTION That was Not an Earthquake in NJ,” he tweeted. “I just like to get a little Morning Sex now and then… Everyone relax and get back to normal. My fault.” Fans shared plenty of laughs in the replies section. One joked: “Calm down damn it. These aftershocks are scary.” Ice T wasn’t the only rapper with a sexual explanation for the earthquake. Ice Spice also wrote on Twitter: “My bad for the earthquake yall u kno this ass be clappin.”

Emergency alerts began going out after the earthquake warning of possible aftershocks. “Earthquakes in this region are uncommon but not unexpected,” Paul Earle, a seismologist for the USGS Earthquake Hazards Program told reporters at a press conference. “It’s likely people near the epicenter are going to feel aftershocks for this earthquake in the magnitude 2-3 range, and there’s a small chance there can be an earthquake as large or larger, following an earthquake like this“In terms of our operations this is a routine earthquake … Immediately we knew this would be of high interest and important to people who don’t feel earthquakes a lot.” CNN reports that there were at least 10 aftershocks following the initial quake.

On Friday morning (April 5), the East Coast was hit with a 4.8 magnitude earthquake, with New York being a majorly affected area along with Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and more. Joining in on the wealth of wild reactions to this online, one particular Bronx native had an interesting theory and took responsibility for the natural event. “my bad for the earthquake yall u kno this a** be clappin,” Ice Spice tweeted much to fans’ amusement and desire Friday afternoon. This also comes just a couple of days after they already thirsted for her enough for her iHeart Radio Awards fit, and it’s clear that she likes to joke around and have fun about this lust.

However, that’s definitely not the only thing that folks are bringing Ice Spice up for these days, especially in the confined space of the rap game and competition between femcees. In fact, we just got beef rumors squashed concerning one of the ladies who many thought was the most likely to be one of her opponents: Cardi B. They shared pictures of them together pointing out that there are no issues between them, despite Spice’s loyalty to Cardi’s long-rumored rival Nicki Minaj. Turns out that rap beef isn’t as shady and loyalty-based as many folks online would have you believe.

Earthquake Addresses Katt Williams’ Illiteracy Accusations On “The Breakfast Club”

At the beginning of this month, Katt Williams made waves with his viral appearance on Club Shay Shay. During the interview, he took aim at several of his peers, including Kevin Hart, Rickey Smiley, Cedric The Entertainer, and more. One fellow comic he mentioned was Earthquake, and he had mostly complimentary things to say about him. While he did note that Earthquake is undeniably funny, he accused the D.C. native of being illiterate.

“‘Why Earthquake not in movies?’ Cuz he’s illiterate,” Williams told Shannon Sharpe. “He can’t read. And they found that out when they gave him a show and then put the cards in front of him.” Later on in the interview, he praised him for his ability to make others laugh. “I don’t think anybody’s ever said Quake not funny. He’s probably never been booed, I don’t think. I don’t think he’s ever given a bad performance in his life.”

During a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Earthquake decided to clear things up. According to him, he appreciates Williams’ compliments, but can definitely read. He also notes that he’s proven this time and time again throughout his decades-long career. As for what Williams’ Club Shay Shay appearance did for Black comedy as a whole, Earthquake says nothing. “Comedy I don’t think [it did] anything, cuz there’s wasn’t no jokes in it,” he explained. “I’m in the joke-telling business, you know what I mean? So, it didn’t do anything I think for comedy.” He continued, describing how Williams’ apparent shade towards him came out of left field.

“Personally speaking, me and him was cool, so I didn’t know where that came from. Certain things he said about me, half was true half was a lie. But, to each his own,” he said. Cardi B Has Hectic Reaction To Tropical Storm Hilary & Earthquake In Los Angeles

The world is watching as Los Angeles, the greater Southern California area, and Mexico are reeling from unprecedented natural disasters. Moreover, a tropical storm, Hilary, weakened from a hurricane before it landed on Sunday (August 20), the first of its kind to hit the region in over 80 years. Amid flash flood warnings, heavy rain, and the cancellation of various events such as concerts in the affected areas, this made many worry about not just this event, but the effects of climate change as a whole. Not only that, but a magnitude 5.1 earthquake also hit these locations, centered in the city of Ojai.

Cardi B was one of many celebrities to react to this, and though she kept things light, many others expressed more concern and well-wishes. “That earthquake woke me the f**k up,” the rapper expressed in a short video uploaded to her social media. Fortunately, as of writing this article, it seems like these natural disasters haven’t caused a lot of significant damage, whether physical or life-threatening. Still, it’s a scary sight to see, and hopefully this lack of danger persists throughout the affected areas’ recovery.

The father of two has been dropping hints about his upcoming work for months now. He may have even hinted at a potential release date on a recent billboard. Even without any new music out, Scott has also been back on the festival circuit this year. Most recently, he made a trip overseas to perform at various events across Europe.

While headlining Longitude Festival in Dublin, Ireland, the Houston native brought his new collaboration with LUV, “Aye” to the stage for the first time. That obviously made headlines along with other Pink Tape promotional antics. However, what’s really got the world talking is Scott’s show in Milan, Italy. According to news reports, it impacted not only attendees but also Mother Earth in a very serious way.

As shown in the video on the last slide of the post above, Travis’ fans were so eager to see him back in action that a literal earthquake took place. “This ni**a different Thanos $cott,” one Instagram user wrote under @ourgenerationmusic’s post. “Firefighters [received] hundred of calls from the [neighbourhood], window and floor [trembling]. At the end, we’re Italian Travis fans,” someone else who was seemingly at the show shared in the comments.

Others were quick to compare the incident to the rapper’s deadly 2021 concert, which forced him to spend several months out of the spotlight as blame was thrown his way for the tragic crowd crush that unfolded. Speaking of Astroworld Festival, it was announced last month that Travis Scott could face criminal charges over the fatal catastrophic event.
