Skip Bayless Delivers Final Goodbye Message To FS1

Skip Bayless is easily one of the biggest names in the entire sports broadcasting world. However, the last year or so has not been fruitful. Overall, he lost Shannon Sharpe and his Undisputed ratings began to tank. Recently, it was reported that he would be leaving FS1 as it just wasn’t working out. Bayless had largely remained silent on all of this. He wasn’t providing fans with any updates, and no one knew when his last day at the network would be.

Well, today, Skip Bayless officially clocked in for his last day at Undisputed. It was revealed this morning that this would be his last episode. He had Lil Wayne on to celebrate, and it was all very low-key. Following the episode, Skip took to Twitter to offer up his final goodbye. Furthermore, he teased his supporters by noting that this is not the end of his career. In fact, there is more on the horizon for him right now.

Skip Bayless On His New Chapter

“Today was my last show on Undisputed,” Bayless began. “I’m leaving FS1. I’ve been planning to pursue other opportunities for several months. I had a great 8-year run with a lot of great people at FOX, but now I’m excited for what’s coming up. Stay tuned.” Bayless will surely be announcing a new venture soon enough. Whether or not people are going to want to tune in, is a different story entirely. Bayless has always done well with a co-host, but by himself, he is much less appealing.

SOURCE SPORTS: Washington Nationals’ Marquis Grissom Jr. Drops His Playlist On Black Baseball Mixtape

Screenshot 2024 08 02 at 12.40.23 PM

This week, Washington Nats’ pitcher Marquis Grissom Jr., son of 2X All Star and World Series champion Marquis Grissom Sr., has decided to share his musical taste courtesy of Black Baseball Mixtape.

Grissom Jr., who is currently the Nationals organization’s #28 prospect, pitched his entire first full season as a closer for Single-A Fredericksburg, racking up 11 saves while earning a 2.18 ERA with 39 Ks in 41 1/3 innings. He opened 2024 in the High-A Wilmington bullpen and moved up to Double-A Harrisburg after dominating the South Atlantic League.

The 6-foot-2 RHP shows average velocity around the 92-94 mph range, but can run his fastball up to 96-97 too. The standout pitch, however, is easily his low-80s changeup. Not only does the pitch get solid separation from the average heater, but it also fades nicely to Grissom’s armside, leading to some funky swings by left-handed hitters. He held lefties to a .448 OPS during his time with Wilmington, compared to .550 for righties.

As for Grissom’s audible palate, the L.A. born/Atlanta-bred righty doesn’t really go for too many commercialized artists with the exception of Future and Metro Boomin, preferring artists such as Detroit’s Veeze and Cash Kidd, as well as Philly’s Argo and Alabama favorite NoCap. Check out his short but solid selection of hits below courtesy of the good people at Black Baseball Mixtape!

B.G. Comes For Turk’s Neck On Diss Track “HANDS UP”

Things between New Orleans, Louisiana rap group Hot Boys are weird, to say the least. Since their “reunion” at the Essence Festival a few months back, B.G. and Turk specifically are seemingly the ones with the most issues. Lil Wayne’s name can also be thrown in the mix too, so overall, there’s just a lot wrong. But back to B.G. and Turk. The former has had it out for the latter ever since he cited “business” issues being his reasoning for not attending. This set off B.G. big time, eventually leading to rant that still leaves a lot up to interpretation of what is exactly going on. “”It’s only one n**** ain’t in this b****, you heard me? He brought that on his self, you heard me? N**** did a bunch of h*e s*** and can’t take it back. He gotta fault his self for not being here”, B.G. said passionately. “The n**** know what he did last summer. And I’ma just leave it like that”.

Turk would go on to respond to that callout, starting a back-and-forth disagreement. Now, B.G. is taking things to booth today, as he drops “HANDS UP”. On the YouTube exclusive song, he essentially recites some of those same quotables above in addition to saying Turk should have never been a part of Hot Boys. The latter alludes to another previous video in which B.G. said that no one would miss Turk if he never rejoined the group. He ends of the song with some lines about how on real dudes should put their hands up. It will be interesting to see if Turk responds, especially given his previous statements. So, be sure to stick around with us for any updates.

Megan Thee Stallion Stands By Kamala Harris Rally Performance Amid Outrage

Earlier this week, Megan Thee Stallion took the stage at Kamala Harris’ rally in Atlanta, showing her support for the current Vice President in this year’s election. She performed a mashup of some of her biggest hits like “Body,” “Mamushi,” and more. She also launched her “Hotties for Harris” campaign, designed to encourage young fans to vote. Unfortunately, however, not everyone was a fan of the show. Meg’s performance quickly went viral as social media users slammed her for her performance. Many took issue with her twerking onstage in particular, arguing that it was inappropriate for the occasion.

Luckily, it doesn’t look like the femcee was fazed by the backlash, which she addressed at Lollapalooza yesterday. In a clip from her set, Meg doubled down, making it clear that she doesn’t plan to change her ways for critics. “They was big mad that I was poppin’ it for Kamala,” she began before reaffirming her support for Harris. “Hotties for Harris, god dammit!”

Megan Thee Stallion Defends Controversial Rally Performance

During her set, Meg also highlighted Harris’ stance on various key issues, including women’s rights. This echoes what she said onstage at the Atlanta rally when she emphasized Harris’ take on Roe v. Wade. “Now I know my ladies in the crowd love their bodies,” she said. “If you want to keep loving your bodies, you know who to vote for.” The hitmaker has long been a vocal advocate for reproductive healthcare, even accepting the 2024 Catalyst of Change Award at Planned Parenthood’s annual gala in April.

What do you think of Megan Thee Stallion addressing the backlash she received for her performance at Kamala Harris’ Atlanta rally during her Lollapalooza set? Do you agree with her or not? What about her new “Hotties for Harris” campaign? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Big Sean Reveals Kendrick Lamar Sent Him An Apology For Dissing Him On Leaked Version Of “ELEMENT.”

Over the last decade or so, Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar’s relationship has been very up and down. They have worked together, but they have also sneak dissed each other on a multitude of occasions. However, based on a recent sit-down with Charlamagne tha God, it seems the Detroit MC felt there has never been any animosity. So, when Sean heard Lamar’s leaked “ELEMENT.” verse prematurely around the time of Nipsey Hussle’s passing, he felt absolutely blindsided. To backtrack a little, the first time the hip-hop community learned about this was back in late 2022. Then, about a year later, the “OG” version of the DAMN. cut would make its way onto the internet, leaving the rap world stunned.

Big Sean keep sneak dissin’, I’ll let it slide / I think his false confidence got him inspired / I can’t make them respect you baby, it’s not my job“, Lamar’s diss on Sean began. You finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme (Boy) / Cute a** raps, get your puberty up / Then make you a classic album before you come at us“. He would then wrap things up, leaving Sean off with a warning. “Drake, your Meek Mill beef might got you gassed up / But I’m a whole ‘nother beast, I’d really f*** you up“. Sean then reveals to the Breakfast Club interviewer that him and Dot text back and forth.

Big Sean Is Taking The High Road When It Comes To Kendrick Lamar

They don’t read the messages aloud, but essentially Kendrick apologized to him, mentioning how his ego was taking over his decision to pen such scathing bars. Sean also mentioned how Lamar thanked him for the shoutout on “Deep Reverence” off of Detroit 2. That track featured a late verse from Nipsey and Sean also says that his verse was recorded following his death and that they essentially reconnected around that time to hash things out. Before moving off the subject, the “Yes” MC wanted to address everyone who was clowning him for not responding to Lamar. He says that he’s not a “clout-chasing-a** n****” and that there is no bad blood between them. However, if he felt there was, then he was going to be ready to fire back.

What are your thoughts on Kendrick Lamar apologizing to Big Sean for the diss on his viral “ELEMENT.” verse? Do you think we will see them work together in the future again after this? How do you feel about Sean’s view of the situation? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.
