JT Unveils The Cover & Release Date For Her Solo Debut “City Cinderella”

JT has taken some serious steps away from her time with Yung Miami and the City Girls over the last year or so. Now, the Miami, Florida native is taking a massive leap after making a huge announcement just moments ago. With the unapologetic femcee dropping singles under just her name it was only a matter of time before she decided to see what she could do solo. So far, her decision has been paying off and quite tremendously we might add. Because of this, JT is comfortable (sort of) revealing key details about her upcoming debut EP called City Cinderella.

She shared the bombshell on her social media while captioning the post, “City Cinderella coming….7/19 👑🧊✨ Pre-save link in bio. My hands shaking posting this. Juvies we here…..🥹”. Multiple fellow female artists were quick to show her support and love for this career move. Kali Uchis is excited for what is in store, saying, “She’s coming !!!!!”. R&B act Snoh Aalegra was also hyping JT up, “⏳ sheeeesh 🔥🔥🔥”.

According to Genius, it appears that “OKAY”, its two versions, including the Jeezy remix, “No Bars”, and “Sideways” will all land on the possible 10-song tracklist. As for the release date of City Cinderella, JT is dropping her EP on July 19 and it will compete with some pretty heavy hitters like Childish Gambino and Denzel Curry. The cover art is also now available to us, as it shows the “Alter Ego” artist looking stunning, with the lower half of her body being made of glass and some it shattered off. She also is donning a tiara, which is fitting for the title of the project. Congratulations to JT on the announcement and we cannot wait to check it out.

What are your thoughts on JT announcing her debut EP City Cinderella? Do you think she should have gone solo even sooner than this, why or why not? Do you think she will become more successful after branching out to work on her own material? What single have you been bumping the most so far? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding JT. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

Bronny James Is Honoring Juice WRLD By Wearing 9 With The Lakers

Bronny James met with the media for the first time as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. James and fellow 2024 NBA Draft selection Dalton Knecht spoke about their jump to the league, and while James unsurprisingly got plenty of questions about one Laker teammate in particular, both players got the chance to dive into why they are wearing their respective jersey numbers.

James will wear the No. 9 in Los Angeles, and explained how he did it as a way to honor Juice WRLD, the rapper who passed away back in 2019.

“Juice has just been a big part of me keeping calm in some situations that I’ve been through,” James explained. “So yeah, just paying homage to him, especially cause he passed, it’s a really important thing for me.”

For Knecht, things were a little more simple, as he decided to take advantage of the fact that his college number is worn by Anthony Davis by going with a pun based on his last name.

“I knew eventually, like, I probably would have to run into the number 4,” Knecht said. “But, 3’s been my number my whole life, and then, yeah, 3, AD got it, so why not do Knecht 4? Why not?”

Eminem Is Still Feeling Salty About His ‘Hilarious’ Ranking On A List Of The Greatest Rappers Of All Time

Last year, Billboard ranked the 50 greatest rappers of all time, a list that no one had any problems with and everyone agreed with. Everyone except Eminem, that is. He was placed at #5, one slot ahead of The Notorious B.I.G. and behind only Tupac (No. 4), Nas (No. 3), Kendrick Lamar (No. 2), and Jay-Z (No. 1), but on “Tobey,” his new song with Big Sean and Babytron, Eminem voiced his displeasure with the ranking.

“I got so many stories, but I hate ceilings / Ain’t feelin’ your top five favorite rappers / So I know they ’bout to be pissed at me,” he raps on the track. “But this, to me, is a mystery / How rappers I’ve already ripped could be / Higher up on a list than me / Yet here I sit on your list though at five, wished it was fine / But just know inside, to me, that sh*t’s hilarious.”

Eminem also had words for Melle Mel, of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, who thinks Em is only considered a top-five rapper because he’s white. “So when I get dissed though and by a pioneer who was one of the reasons why I am here / They tell me I should just let that shit go and slide / ‘Melle Mel shouldn’t get no reply’ / ‘That man is a legend,’ bitch, so am I,” he raps.

You can listen to “Tobey” below.

Kehlani Addresses Fans’ Lingering Questions About Their Sexuality

Kehlani addressed fans’ questions about their sexuality during a series of videos they posted on TikTok on Sunday. In doing so, they explained how they’re lesbian and the fact that they thought they were bisexual in the past doesn’t negate that fact.

“I was bisexual my entire life, and then I came out as a lesbian almost four years ago now,” they said. “But when I realized, recently actually, all of the f–king elevation in my life that has come from de-centering men in every f–king area of it … when I prioritized women and also just centered myself and women? When all the bad b—hes decide what planet we’re going to after we f–k this one, invite me, because I will thrive.”

From there, they fired back at fans bringing up their past relationships with men from when they were much younger. “Bringing up the fact that I had a child, or bringing up ex-boyfriends from four years ago or before, bringing up situations from when I was 20? I’m 29. I will be 30 next year,” they said. “I don’t know why there’s this inability to fathom that I’m a raging lesbian. And yes, my music is gay! Who I perform to and for is the gays. And if you’re stuck in the past, it’s between you and your god. If you’re a man still bringing up my ex-boyfriends, just say you want to f–k ’em.”
