Wack 100 is known for commenting on all things hip-hop. Although there are some people who couldn’t care less about his opinion, there are others who are always intrigued by what he has to say. Overall, Wack is someone who operates out on the West Coast. Having said that, it should come as no surprise that he would be a fan of Kendrick Lamar. Moreover, he has a lot of expectations for Lamar as it pertains to being a representative for Los Angeles. This is especially true now that he is going against Canada, in Drake.
After Kendrick dropped off “Euphoria,” DJ Akademiks went live on Rumble, Twitch, and YouTube. During this stream, he called up Wack 100 who wanted to deliver his take on what went down. Interestingly enough, Wack was not all that impressed with the Kendrick record. He was hoping for something that was more “West Coast” in terms of its presentation. Additionally, he felt like a lot of the things Kendrick said had already been stated by the likes of Pusha T.

DJ Akademiks was very quick to agree with Wack 100. Of course, Ak has been on Drake’s side since the very beginning of the feud, so this should come as a surprise to absolutely no one. For now, it does seem like fans are split on this. Although both rappers have huge fanbases, and regardless of who says what, it feels like many have already chosen their side. In fact, this beef is very much like politics in that aspect.

Akbar V has been hanging out in New York recently and it’s sparked the rumor mill. Some of the most recent claims revolved around her allegedly being attacked by a friend of NY native Cardi B. The rumors have been swirling around the internet but eventually got loud enough the Akbar herself heard them. So when she recently took to Instagram to talk to her fans she tried to shut the story down while avoiding mentioning it by name.
In the video, she’s riding around in the car talking about what she’s been up to. While she does confirm she’s been hanging out in New York she dances around the obvious topic at hand a bit. Eventually she repeats that she’s not discussing anything negative and not sweating the little things. Instead she’s opting for positivity, which made fans immediately suspicious. Also increasing fan suspicion is what many think is a cut above one of her eyes in the video. The comment section is full of fans pointing out that she may ot be doing the best job covering up the fact that she was involved in some sort of scuffle. Darvin Ham, who has been on the hot seat all season, is reportedly likely to be let go by the Los Angeles Lakers. His departure, after the Lakers’ 4 – 1 series defeat at the hands of the Denver Nuggets, seems all but certain. Laker fans, who have been roasting and complaining about Ham’s performance all season, are often seen expressing their dissatisfaction with his actions on the sideline or his habit of keeping his hands in his pocket. Ham has a reputation for misusing or not using his timeouts at all. This sentiment has been echoed by even LeBron James’ youngest son, Bryce James, who has been drawn into the conversation about Ham’s future.
Darvin Ham, the likely scapegoat for the Laker’s struggles, has been the subject of much criticism. The Denver Nuggets were just too much, even for a team with LeBron and Anthony Davis. It was the little things that killed the Lakers and role players making mistakes. Coaching, with Ham at the helm, played a big part in their struggles, but the blame should probably be spread a bit. The mem is straight out of Laker’s social media playbook. They have been sharing memes like this all year. Darvin Ham has been on the hot seat all season, and fans are about to more than likely get their wish. At least the Darvin Ham memes will stop. Laker fans will have to find new ways to disparage their next coach.
LeBron is making decisions about his future and taking his time. He has two years left on his current deal with a $50 million player option next year. He reportedly wants to play with his son Brinny. Tobi Lou & FARADA Bolster Their Chemistry With “Young Bopalopalous” EP
Chicago underground multi-hyphenate tobi lou has been steadily developing a close bond with producer FARADA. Over the last few months, they have become quite the dynamic duo, creating slightly left field contemporary R&B and pop rap cuts. They first began their creative journey together with their Baggy Weather (Mini Version) project just over a year ago. Then, just about three months later that same year they dropped ‘Decent with Chief Keef, Saba, Polo G and even Dame D.O.L.L.A (aka NBA star Damian Lillard). Now, FARADA and tobi lou are back in the lab once again with a three-track offering Young Bopalopalous.
This follows up their most recent effort Perish Blue (Fall Tour), which originally started out as Caturday. The latter has since been removed from streaming services. On Young Bopalopalous, tobi lou and FARADA are dropping more rap centric cuts this time around with trap rap instrumentals. The one that sticks out the most to us out of the trio though is “Hitchhiker.”

Lil Tjay Reportedly Arrested In Miami: Details
Lil Tjay was supposed to have himself a good Tuesday, as it was his 23rd birthday. Overall, the artist was in Miami and was going to be hopping on a flight out of the city to go celebrate somewhere with his friends. Unfortunately, his celebration was cut short as the young artist was intercepted by Federal agents. According to The Shade Room, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers approached Tjay as he was boarding a flight at the Miami-Opa Locka airport.
Tjay was subsequently put in a nearby vehicle and driven away by authorities. As it stands, it would appear as though the artist is still in custody. For now, however, there are very little details pertaining to the arrest, and what is going to happen next. The Shade Room did publish a mugshot, but that is all we really have to go on right now. It was also noted that it seems like a warrant is what ultimately sparked the arrest.

Last year, Tjay was charged with “criminal possession of a weapon for an imitation pistol, reckless endangerment for displaying a prop gun, and obstructing governmental administration.” For now, it remains to be seen if this arrest has anything to do with that. Prime Video’s Aldis Hodge ‘Alex Cross’ Series Renewed for Season 2 Before Season 1 Debut
Prime Video’s new Cross series starring Aldris Hodge has yet to hit the streamer, but apparently, Amazon is so hot on the show that they’ve already renewed it for Season 2. Actors Wes Chatham, Matthew Lillard, and Jeanine Mason are added to the cast, joining Hodge, for the early renewal. The first season’s cast includes Ryan Eggold, Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Johnny Ray Gill, Eloise Mumford, and Siobhan Murphy.
Here’s the original synopsis:
Alex Cross is brilliant, flawed, and full of contradictions. A doting father and family man, Cross is single-minded to the point of obsession when he hunts killers. He is desperate for love, but his wife’s murder has left him too damaged to receive it.
Executive producer and showrunner Ben Watkins received the order for “Cross” from Amazon in 2022. It was described as a thriller mystery series., had been given a series order by Amazon Studios. Cross is based on the best-selling Alex Cross book series by James Patterson. The project was developed and produced by Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television. The titular character has been portrayed in the past by Morgan Freeman and even Tyler Perry.
Hodge is a producer on Cross. Along with Watkins, James Patterson serves as an EP. Bill Robinson and Patrick Santa for James Patterson Entertainment, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost for Skydance Television. Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, and Craig Siebels serve as executive producers.

See It: ‘Queenie’ Trailer: Hulu’s New Series Sees a Jamaican British Woman Navigating Two Cultures
Hulu just dropped the first trailer for Queenie, the forthcoming UK-set series from Champion creator Candace Carty-Williams and starring Dionne Brown. Queenie is based on Carty-Williams’ novel of the same name. Disney’s Onyx Collective will premiere on Hulu on June 7, releasing all eight episodes.
Here’s the synopsis:
Queenie Jenkins is a 25-year-old Jamaican British woman living in south London, straddling two cultures and slotting neatly into neither. After a messy breakup with her long-term boyfriend, Queenie seeks comfort in all the wrong places and begins to realize she has to face the past head-on before she can rebuild.
Brown stars as Queenie, Bellah plays Kyazike, and Samuel Adewunmi is Frank.
Carty-Williams is the showrunner and executive producing. Steve November and Sarah Conroy of Further South are executive producing. Lisa Walters is a co-executive producer and series producer. Queenie is a collaboration between Lionsgate TV and Further South Productions is producing the series.

Whelp, another first went down in the first trial of a former POTUS. Donald Trump received his first punishment from Judge Juan Merchan in the New York hush money trial for defying the judge’s gag order, resulting in fines totaling $9,000 for nine violations. The judge’s written order also cautioned the former president that further breaches could result in imprisonment, highlighting the gravity of the trial’s significance from a historical standpoint.
During the trial on Tuesday, jurors listened to testimony from Keith Davidson, the attorney who orchestrated the hush money agreements involving Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal. Davidson recounted the stresses of working with Trump’s former fixer, Michael Cohen, in the final days of the 2016 campaign to secure funds, allegedly to silence Daniels. Remember Daniels said she had sex with the married Trump, who was running for President and was reeling from the salacious Access Hollywood grab em by the you know what scandal. Jurors were briefed on the financial dealings surrounding the Stormy Daniels payment
Gary Farro, Cohen’s former banker, detailed Cohen’s swift actions in setting up a shell company and transferring funds to Daniels’ attorney. Within a day, Cohen expedited a $131,000 advance on his home equity line of credit, promptly wired to the newly created Essential Consultant LLC account. This maneuver, disguised as a real estate deal, resulted in a $130,000 transfer to Daniels’ lawyer. Farro emphasized the frequency of urgent matters in his interactions with Cohen, noting that Cohen’s accounts were subsequently closed by First Republic Bank following the public revelation of the hush money payment to Daniels.
Video evidence was presented to the jury in court on Tuesday morning, with prosecutors relying on records custodians to introduce several clips.
Clips from C-SPAN featuring Trump speaking at public events were shown to the jury.
The clips depicted then-candidate Trump vehemently refuting allegations of sexual assault made by women following the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape that month. In one clip, Trump asserts, “As you have seen, right now I’m being viciously attacked with lies and smears. It’s a phony deal. I have no idea who these women are.”
Some of Trump’s family and friends showed up at court today.
On Tuesday, Trump received guests in the courtroom gallery, expanding beyond the usual team. Notably, his son, Eric Trump, made an appearance. That marked the first attendance by a family member at the trial. Susie Wiles, Trump’s senior campaign adviser, accompanied Eric Trump.
Ken Paxton, the Texas attorney general, and David McIntosh, a co-founder of conservative political groups such as the Club for Growth, were also in the courtroom.
